Love it but..

As much as the new app is great in its many ways, I would love it if you had the time when the next train is due instead of 17mins like that’s helpful for some people but perhaps change it so the time it’s due in shoes first but when you tap on the time it shows you the minutes? Just a suggestion I really prefer the times shown. Also I find this app isn’t as up to date on delays or cancellations as the previous version.

The time table app, with no actual time

If you what to know what time your train is coming tough luck, you’ve woken up and you use the app now you have to figure what 40 mins is from now as the app won’t tell you the literal time , it will however tell you the time of every train station after, so the work around is to look you the time for the station or halt prior to the one you want doh The count down also does not refresh it’s only relative to the moment you clicked to the page so it you recheck the app, it will still say xx mins away unless you recheck from the start , and if a mate or taxi is dropping you to the halt xx mins from 08:43 isn’t helpful to them either. The icon for the halt station that looks like a Wi-fi icon actual shows a zoomed in map it a halt and a road there’s literally nothing to define a local. The same zoomed in map could be used for any halt

Such a poor service for a ‘city’

In the morning the larne line terminates in Yorkgate for some of its trains instead of going one stop further to accommodate working people. If you miss or can’t make a train you have to wait 20 minutes in the morning - for example if the 7:45 train from jordanstown went to Lanyon it would be a 10 minute wait - not exactly amazing wait time for a city but a lot better than 20 - which is unacceptable for peak commute times. As the 7:45 train only goes part of the journey it is empty and the train before and after are full - I had to stand with many others!! What sense does that make? You can’t expect people to choose a poorly conceived form of public transport over driving with such terrible logic!

Ulsterbus user reviews.

Ulsterbus receives positive feedback from users who appreciate the courteous and helpful drivers, as well as the overall value for money. Passengers found their journeys straightforward and enjoyable, with some noting that services exceeded expectations. Additionally, timely arrivals were mentioned favorably by customers.

There was no indication of which bus was the correct one to go to Ayr and another Citylink driver advised everyone that his bus was the 923. Whilst on the bus it came to my attention that I was in fact on the Glasgow day trip bus which did not stop at Ayr which meant I had to jump off the bus at a roundabout and walk into Ayr

It was great and more than we expected

it was all very straight forward

I likely enjoyed my trip. It was convenient and helpful

Very easy transition from bus to ferry to bus at such a reasonable cost.

Friendly driver, helpful and on time
