Day 1: Dadar East – Kasara - Nashik Embark on an awe-inspiring wine tour of Nashik through the vineyards with this two-day trip. Your trip starts near Pritam Hotel at Dadar East. Travel via private vehicle to reach the vineyard. En route to the vineyard, stop by at Kasara and savor a sumptuous breakfast. On arrival at the vineyard, get familiarized with the surroundings and relish an appetizing lunch. Later, get a brief introduction about the place. Indulge in grape stomping which is a process to make wine. Continue your tour around the vineyard till sunset. Also, watch an informative movie on the wine making process. Location: Nashik, Maharashtra Duration: Day Trip How to Reach • By Air: About 25 km from Nashik, Ozar Airport is the nearest airport to this place. This airport has proper connectivity from all the major cities by domestic flights. From here, you can either board a bus or hire a taxi to reach Nashik. • By Rail: Nashik Road Railway Station is the main railhead in this city. A number of regular trains from Dadar (Mumbai) and Pune are available to Nashik. From here, you can either board a bus or hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi, which are easily available at reasonable fares. • By Road: This city is easily accessible by road from Mumbai as it is about 170 km from it. There are number of buses running frequently between Dadar and Nashik. In case you are not around Dadar, then you can also take a bus from Borivali. You can also hire a cab or taxi from Mumbai to get to this place. Alternatively, you can also reach this city from Pune, which is about 200 km via NH 50. The villa property is managed by original so-ma vineyard guys. And there is another section of Soma Vineyard Resort rooms under the regenta management. So-ma villa management is very cooperative. Best part they offered a bottle of wine as a gesture for not been able to arrange a cake for my wife’s birthday. Really appreciate (girish - main manager of the villa. However be aware of the restaurant surahi which is below the regenta property and used by guests in villa as well. So while getting up from our dinner table at surahi a glass (normal glass used to drink water) slipped off the table by mistake. It broke - best part be careful they will make you pay for it. I have the bill which they sent to my villa of rs 150- for it. Interesting to see a line item of glass in the bill. More than the amount the sick attitude of the waiter out there. I wish i had his name would have pointed out to the surahi management. I hope they are listening.

From the moment i arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Visiting the vineyard was a delightful experience for any wine enthusiast. The moment i stepped onto the property, i was captivated by the picturesque vineyard rows and the idyllic setting. The vineyard’s charm and tranquility immediately made me feel like i was in a different world. The wine tasting session was a true highlight. The knowledgeable staff guided us through a selection of their finest wines, explaining each one’s unique characteristics and production process. It was evident how passionate they were about their craft, and their enthusiasm added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.

Soma is not sula

1. I was mistaken Soma is a subset of Sula, it is not infact its a small Vineyard about 3 km ahead of Sula very similar in design and surroundings etc but very small scale. It makes 1.5 lakh Litres of Wine per year whereas Sula makes atleast a Crore Litre of Wine per year. (2) However, we were pleasantly surprised with the stay. Quiet, picturesque surroundings and a laid back air was perfect actually to take a break from the city. (3) Clean rooms, great service, Wifi, Pool, breakfast (4) However hot shower was below average for a place charging minimum high at the resort. (5) A chilled out stay if you're not into Fancy Hospitality and just want privacy with bare essentials. (6) Thanks for a great stay!!

Our stay was good, but i think at the price that they have, they can add bath tub in their rooms cause winery's are more like a romantic destination. Besides that having such amazing swimming pools would have appreciated temperature control as water was too cold due to nashik temp. So-ma wine's are too good and wine tasting was a great experience. The ambience and decor of the place is also good but i was a tad disappointed with food. As the service was not at all good. We had to go to regenta so-ma to have our meals and they took 15mins or more to just come and clean our tables and then another 15mins to take our orders. The italian restaurant which is above the wine shop had better service than this.

Stay at soma is one of the best experience. We stayed at soma vineyard resort, dont get mistaken by regenta resort as they are in the same property. Stay was peaceful, quiet and convenient, just as we like it. Food was excellent. The mediterranean and italian cuisine was delicious. Our breakfast was at regenta resort and it also served multicuisine food for lunch and dinner. The taste and variety was up to the mark. Really delicious. Ofcourse, the wines were the best part. Not a single wine we could resist while tasting. A must go place. Calm and serene place with amazing food and wine!

We booked the stay literally at the last min as we were not able to finalize upon the destination. But it turned out to be the best option. The vineyard view from the room was beautiful. The best part was pool was open 24*7 so we could plan other things in the day and not had to rush to enjoy the Soma Vineyard Resort facilities. The resort had its own restaurant with food variety and the taste was also nice. There was an indoor game section as well with pool, carrom and TT which was an add on. Overall best decision to choose Soma Vineyard Resort for our first-anniversary stay.

Our stay at so-ma vineyards was better than expectation. Got complimentary upgrade to poolside room and could enjoy swimming to fullest. Tour and testing at vinery and poolside restaurant at regenta was too good with excellent food quality. Complimentary decorated table for birthday celebration and complimentary wine bottle on purchase of more than inr5k wine bottle also came as pleasant surprise. It was hygienic and safe everywhere. I strongly recommend this property for couple of days outing

We were being charged extra for the drinks that we ordered at the dine in apart from the prices being reflected on the drinks (wine) menu. I don't understand so as to why they charged us extra. There was no one to attend us from housekeeping and room service. We tried several times on the given number but no one answered the call. The swimming pool was dirty. Basic amenities were missing from the room. The staff was polite. Location is lovely and it's a great resort. The room was clean.

Stay was comfortable. Place was nicely maintained. Very polite and courteous staff. Everything is decently priced. Weekdays are better to avoid crowd. Trying different wines is recommended, have good options in that too. One suggestion though: can have more eating joints. If one is visiting for more than one night, only two places to eat is quite limited and hence we had to venture out to other vineries. All in all, worth a go!
