Singapore Cruise Industry

Even though the demand for the cruise industry and in extension the tourist industry was dampened by the pandemic, the future of Singapore’s cruise industry looks promising.  With many cruise operators announcing the resumption of port calls in the region, the number of cruise bookings have steadily increased.  The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) expects Singapore’s cruise industry to return to pre-pandemic levels by 2024 and from August 29, unvaccinated travelers can visit Singapore without any quarantine, but they still require a PCR test within 48 hours before arriving.

Between 2010 and 2019, Singapore’s cruise industry contributed US$530 million to Singapore’s economy, attracting more than 1.2 million people in 2016 alone.  Singapore was one of the top destinations for port calls prior to the pandemic due to its strategic location as a gateway to tourist destinations in Southeast Asia - easy reach to 25,000 islands including Bali, Langkawi, Phuket and 37 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Luxury cruise liners from the world’s top cruise operators like Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Genting operated regional cruises from Singapore with some of their latest cruise liners.  Interestingly, most of these cruise liners have begun moving towards having sustainable cruises which would fall in line with Singapore’s vision of becoming a hub for sustainable tourism under the Singapore Green Plan 2030.

The spillover effect from the cruise industry positively impacts the overall tourism industry in Singapore due to interrelated tourist demand in sectors such as the airline industry.  International tourists who flew into Singapore accounted for at least 70% of Singapore’s cruise passengers prior to the pandemic.  Hence, given the rebound in the airline and cruise industries, STB has been engaged in the following initiatives:

  • CDF is eligible to all cruise lines, charterers, intermediaries such as travel agents, destination management companies, ground handlers, as well as experience owners and industry trainers.
  • Agents are encouraged to utilize this grant to create and advertise cruise packages.
  • To supplement the already existing Singapore Cruise Centre, Singapore is already investing US$380 million in modernizing its state-of-the-art cruise center.
  • Endorsing the joint ASEAN Declaration on Cruise Tourism in 2018, which enhances the development of cruise-related tourism in the region.

The outlook for the cruise industry looks positive with revenue from the cruise industry projected to reach US$239.1 million in 2022. That is a good sign compared to the previous two years during the global pandemic.  With an expected annual growth rate of 13.86%, the market volume is expected to grow to US$401.80 million by 2026 according to industry sources. Singapore’s cruise industry set to return to pre-pandemic levels between 2023 and 2024: STB

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) on Friday (Jul 1) said that the country's cruise industry is expected to return to pre-pandemic levels between 2023 and 2024.

The outlook comes as Southeast Asia welcomed its first port call in more than two years, with the arrival of Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas at Malaysia's Port Klang on Friday morning.

This will be followed by Resorts World Cruises' Genting Dream , which will call at Indonesia's Batam and Bintan on Saturday.

Both companies announced in June that they will begin sailing again, with Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas from Jun 30 and Genting Dream under Resorts World Cruises from Jul 1.

The two cruise ships are homeported in Singapore.

Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia are the first Southeast Asian countries to resume port calls since cruising was halted in March 2020, said STB in a media statement on Friday.

"Coupled with positive discussions to resume similar calls in more ports and the alignment of health protocols across the region, STB expects the cruise industry in Singapore to return to pre-pandemic levels between 2023 and 2024," it added.

STB chief executive, Keith Tan said the resumption of port calls is an important milestone for Singapore and the region.

"Cruising is a key tourism driver, and as ASEAN’s lead coordinator for cruise development, Singapore will continue to work with our counterparts to strengthen the region’s attractiveness as a cruising destination and source market.”

CRUISE INDUSTRY RECOVERY

STB said Singapore's cruise industry enjoyed "robust growth" prior to the pandemic, with more than 400 cruise ships across 30 cruise brands calling at the country's ports in 2019.

Singapore restarted cruising in November 2020 without any port calls. Since then, more than half a million passengers have sailed on nearly 370 "cruise to nowhere" sailings.

Amid the resumption, STB said cruising saw a "new wave of interest", especially among first-time passengers who did not consider cruising as a leisure option prior to COVID-19.

"As more ships offer varied itineraries for cruising out of Southeast Asia, these new cruisers are expected to support a strong rebound for the industry."

STB added that Singapore is currently rebuilding its pipeline of cruise ship deployments. The country is also working with cruise lines to expand their customer base - from regional markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia, to mid and long-haul markets such as India, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The fly-cruise segment, where international passengers fly to Singapore to board a cruise, is also expected to rebound strongly.

Prior to COVID-19, 70 per cent of Singapore’s cruise passengers were international visitors travelling to Singapore to take a cruise to explore Southeast Asia, said STB.

To prepare for the return of fly-cruise travellers, STB said it will continue to offer the Cruise Development Fund to encourage cruise lines to homeport in Singapore. Cruise agents can also tap on this grant to develop and market cruise packages.

STB-Silversea partnership to grow regional luxury cruise industry

cruise industry in singapore

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Silversea Cruises are set to create waves to boost the luxury cruise industry in Singapore and the region with their latest collaboration.

Jeannie Lim, assistant chief executive, policy and planning group, STB, and Adam Radwanski, managing director, APAC Silversea Cruises, announced the three-year partnership at a recent Silversea cocktail event at Raffles Hotel, Singapore.

In line with the rapid growth of Asia’s cruise industry, this milestone enables STB to develop and grow the luxury cruise industry in Singapore and regionally, as well as strengthen the region’s attractiveness as a cruising destination and source market.

The collaboration will be supported by STB’s Cruise Development Fund (CDF) as Silversea’s newest offerings, Silver Nova and Silver Dawn and other Silversea ships are slated to homeport at the Singapore Cruise Centre for the 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.

CDF supports cruise industry players in activities that will build strong consumer demand for cruises from Singapore.

Additionally, the deployment of Silver Nova in 2024/25 also marks a major milestone in STB’s sustainability roadmap. As the first-ever Liquefied Natural Gas-powered cruise ship to be deployed in Singapore, this will pave the way for more cruise ships to use clean fuels and pursue sustainability.

The city-state aspires to be one of the world’s most sustainable urban destinations, in line with the Singapore Green Plan 2030. To that end, Singapore is also aiming to become the first country to be certified under the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)-Destination criteria.

To fortify its position as the leading ultra-luxury expedition cruise line, Silversea has also recently opened general sales for the inaugural season of another new ship, Silver Endeavour .

The expedition vessel will undertake 12 immersive voyages to Antarctica from November 21, 2022, broadening the industry’s most diverse polar offering.

Silversea also unveiled the ship’s seven suite categories, which include some of the most spacious accommodations in expedition cruising.

Roberto Martinoli, president and CEO, Silversea Cruises, said: “With state-of-the-art technology, one of the highest ice-class ratings of any expedition cruise ship, and industry-leading Zodiac- and expert-to-guest ratios, our newest ship will offer a uniquely immersive expedition experience to our well-travelled guests.”

New Disney cruise ship to set sail from Singapore from 2025

cruise industry in singapore

SINGAPORE - From 2025, a new cruise ship featuring Disney princesses and Marvel superheroes will call Singapore home, as part of a five-year collaboration between the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Disney Cruise Line.

The 208,000-gross-tonne vessel is expected to be the largest cruise ship calling here, as well as the largest ship in Disney’s fleet, said Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations S. Iswaran, who announced the collaboration on Wednesday.

Mr Josh D’Amaro, the chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, said: “We are incredibly excited to make Singapore the home port to our seventh-launched ship, which will sail from here year-round starting in 2025.”

The ship, which is yet to be named, is estimated to be able to carry 6,000 passengers and 2,300 crew members.

When launched, it is expected to feature attractions such as themed restaurants and interactive theatre shows.

It has the potential to add “millions of local and foreign cruise passengers” over the five-year period, including fly-cruise passengers arriving in Singapore by air, Disney and STB said in a media release.

As part of sustainability efforts, the vessel will run on green methanol, a low-emission fuel.

More details regarding the vessel’s maiden voyage and itineraries will be released at a later date.

The ship is expected to call at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, which is one of Asia’s largest cruise terminals.

A subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, Disney Cruise Line currently operates fives ships to destinations including the Caribbean, Europe and Australia, with three more ships planned.

Disney Signature Experiences president Thomas Mazloum said the ship was acquired partially completed in 2022 from Dream Cruises, a brand under Genting Hong Kong, which was liquidated in October.

Construction will be completed at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany, under Meyer Werft, which also built three other Disney cruise ships.

At a news conference at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Mr Iswaran said Disney’s decision to base its first ship in South-east Asia here “speaks volumes of our region’s significant potential for cruise tourism”.

Singapore can serve as a gateway to the rest of South-east Asia, he said, noting that the region has been described as the “Caribbean of the East”.

Singapore’s cruise industry is recovering after Covid-19. In 2022, 1.2 million passengers passed through Singapore’s ports.

That was about two-thirds of the numbers seen in 2019, when there were about 1.8 million cruise passengers, Mr Iswaran noted.

That year, the industry contributed $630 million to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP), $350 million of which was spent by cruise lines on repairs, bunkering and other port-related services, said Mr Iswaran, who is also Transport Minister.

In 2022, STB said it expected Singapore’s cruise industry to return to pre-pandemic levels between 2023 and 2024.

While Disney and STB had been in talks for many years on possible collaborations, discussions to bring Disney Cruise Line to Singapore kicked into high gear in 2022, said STB chief executive Keith Tan.

The partnership with Disney Cruise Line is expected to provide a sizeable boost to the cruise sector’s contribution to tourism receipts and the country’s GDP, he said, without providing a figure.

In 2017, STB signed a three-year partnership with The Walt Disney Company South-east Asia to bring themed events and activities here.

21 Singapore Cruise Industry Statistics and Trends

Singapore is one of the hottest destinations for the global cruise industry, even though it isn’t on the radar of every tourist. In 2016, mover 1.2 million passengers were served by the Singapore cruise industry in some way. In just 6 years, the industry has been able to grow by more than 36%.

One of the reasons for this impressive growth is its location. To explore Southeast Asia, one must first come through Singapore when cruising. With its modern cities and ancient temples, there is plenty to see and do at this port of call.

In 2018, the joint ASEAN Declaration on Cruise Tourism was officially endorsed, allowing for even more development of cruise-related tourism in the country and region. For the 25 million cruise passengers that explore the world, Singapore is poised to become a top destination choice.

Important Singapore Cruise Industry Statistics

#1. In 2016, the Singapore cruise industry contributed $706 million to the local economy. That is a 36% from the revenues that were generated in 2010 by the industry. (Straits Times)

#2. Growth in the cruise industry for Singapore has averaged about 20% per year over the past decade. That is despite the fact that many of the ports need to have upgrades. (Straits Times)

#3. Cruise ships which wish to call Singapore a stop on their itinerary may accommodate up to 4,000 guests at any time. The cruise ships themselves are a minimum of 140,000 gross tons, both of which are difficult for Singapore’s current infrastructure to handle. (Straits Times)

#4. About 4.5 million passengers are expected to embrace the idea of cruising around Singapore and Southeast Asia by 2035. If achieved, that would mean the number of passengers that would need to be accommodated would be 10 times higher than they are today. (Straits Times)

#5. Cruise capacity has increased in all metrics since 2013. In Asia, the fleet of cruise ships which serve the region has grown by 53%. At the same time, the number of voyages and cruises within the region has grown by 25%. (Cruise Lines International Association)

#6. The number of operating days for cruise providers in Singapore and Southeast Asia has expanded by 137% between 2013 to 2017. (Cruise Lines International Association)

#7. In 2017, there were more than 7,000 cruise calls in Asia. That reflects a 29% increase in cruise call volume from the year before. (Cruise Lines International Association)

#8. Although the number of calls is increasing in the region, Singapore is falling behind in the number of total port calls received. Japan received over 800 calls, followed by China (306) and Thailand (218). Port call growth occurred in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines as well, but not in Singapore. (Cruise Lines International Association)

#9. For international cruises which sail out of the Republic, Singaporeans comprise up to 60% of the passenger manifest. (Singapore Tourism Board)

#10. The cruise industry of Singapore has seen a 22% increased capacity in the ships that service local ports of call. By 2020, 35 new ships are expected to serve the region when compared to 2014 figures. (Singapore Tourism Board)

#19. Although there are 39 turnaround ports in Southeast Asia, Singapore ranks second and, with Shanghai, hosts the vast majority of them. In 2016, there were 329 turnarounds hosted. (Cruise Lines International Association)

#21. The Singapore cruise industry estimates that they hosted 748,000 passenger destination days in 2017, which would be an increase of 47,000 destination days from the year before. Although 0.5% growth was achieved, that is far less than the 15% growth achieved in 2014 in total calls. (Cruise Lines International Association)

Singapore Cruise Industry Trends and Analysis

The Singapore cruise industry should be invigorated by recent trends. With commitments to invest in local infrastructure, more tourism development within her boundaries, and some amazing, modern sites to visit that mingle with history, it is a unique destination that the cruise community is going to love.

At the same time, Singapore is also one of the top 5 source markets in the Asia-Pacific region, creating a hub of passenger traffic which supports the global cruise industry.

With excellent air connections that provide access to Canada, the States, and even Brazil, the cruise industry is poised to see high levels of growth within the next 10-year forecast. Although the overall performance may still be much lower than the results seen in Japan and China, it is clear to see that this industry is on the rise in Singapore.

That is trend which doesn’t show any signs of stopping.

Singapore -based cruise ships started making port calls to neighbouring countries in July. This is the first time this is happening since the Covid-19 pandemic struck the world and closed international cruises for a time.

Covid-19 travel update: Singapore cruise industry resumes port calls, will Indians return? (Twitter/italysingapore)

The first ports of call were Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas and Resorts World Cruises' Genting Dream which docked at Port Klang in Malaysia, and Indonesia's Batam and Bintan islands respectively. Both cruise ships are homeported in Singapore.

Just before Covid-19, Singapore's cruise industry and in particular the fly-cruise segment was seeing explosive growth. In 2018, Singapore cruise firms were reporting 25 per cent annual growth from Indian tourists. In 2017, around 127,000 Indians boarded one of the many luxury cruise lines which berthed in Singapore and took passengers on a pampered journey to various Southeast Asian destinations like Penang, Phuket and beyond. Many of them are on a fly-cruise itinerary.

Various cruise lines including Princess Cruise, Genting and Dream Cruise (the predecessor brands of Resorts World Cruises), Royal Caribbean, and Costa took advantage of Singapore's position as a regional hub to set up their Southeast Asian base. Back in 2019, more than 19 million people visited Singapore. The cruise industry in 2019 had over 1.82 million passengers and made 414 port calls. Over 400 cruise ships across 30 cruise brands called in Singapore in 2019.

So far this year, Singapore has had 959,000 foreign visitors, out of which about half or 418,000 arrived in May, the latest month for which data was available from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

Indians make up the second-largest nationality in terms of visitor arrivals in Singapore since the start of this year with 154,700 arrivals. Indonesians make up the largest group with 171,400 and Malaysians are third with 88,800 travellers coming to the island. Conspicuously missing from this data are the Chinese who used to form the largest group of visitors as their country is one of the few which have kept their borders closed. Over 3.63 million Chinese tourists arrived in Singapore in the last full year of travel before Covid-19 brought the travel industry to its knees.

STB said that Singapore is planning to rebuild its strong pipeline of cruise ship deployments by taking advantage of its strategic location, world-class air connectivity and excellent port infrastructure. It is also working with cruise lines to expand its customer base. Besides neighbours Indonesia and Malaysia, they are eyeing cruise passengers from countries further afield such as India, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

With Singapore reopening to all vaccinated visitors, the fly-cruise segment is expected to rebound strongly and is an area of focus for STB which has identified it as a key growth area. Prior to Covid-19, 70 per cent of Singapore's cruise passengers were international visitors travelling to Singapore to take a cruise to explore Southeast Asia and other regional countries. The strong demand for the fly-cruise segment will add to Singapore's appeal as a homeport for cruise lines.

To prepare for the return of fly-cruise travellers, STB will continue to offer the Cruise Development Fund to encourage cruise lines to homeport in Singapore. Cruise agents can also tap on this grant to develop and market cruise packages. Through such partnerships, STB helps cruise agents launch effective marketing campaigns to promote sailings from Singapore and showcase enticing cruise and land experiences, in turn attracting more travellers and cruise converts to Singapore.

During the Covid-19 border closures, Singapore residents who were stranded on their tiny island took to cruising as a way of leaving home and seeking a getaway for leisure. Since Singapore restarted cruising in November 2020, over half a million passengers have sailed on nearly 370 'cruise to nowhere' sailings. Many of them are first-timers. As more ships offer varied itineraries for cruising out of Southeast Asia, first-time cruisegoers are expected to support a strong rebound for the industry.

Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia are the first Southeast Asian countries to resume port calls since cruising was halted in March 2020. Coupled with positive discussions to resume similar calls in more ports and the alignment of health protocols across the region, STB expects the cruise industry in Singapore to return to pre-pandemic levels between 2023 and 2024.

"The resumption of port calls is an important milestone for Singapore and the region," said Mr Keith Tan, Chief Executive, STB. "It has been made possible by the strong partnership and collective commitment in ASEAN to grow the cruise industry. Cruising is a key tourism driver, and as ASEAN's lead coordinator for cruise development, Singapore will continue to work with our counterparts to strengthen the region's attractiveness as a cruising destination and source market.

"The return of cruising to destinations is timely, as countries around the region re-open to welcome visitors, revitalise their tourism sectors, and embrace the new normal. Our cruises already have so much to offer with technologically-advanced ships and an ever-expanding range of first-at-sea onboard activities. We look forward to developing more exciting itineraries for our guests in this region," said Ms Angie Stephen, Vice President and Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean International.

"We are committed to Singapore's vision to be a premier cruise hub in Asia. Together with STB, we look forward to growing the cruise sector, including the fly-cruise segment; and to making Singapore and Southeast Asia one of the largest year-round cruise destinations in the world," said Mr Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises.

SINGAPORE: Holidaymakers may be able to cruise to international destinations from Singapore by the end of the year, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) said on Wednesday (Apr 6) as a new Royal Caribbean vessel prepares to begin its season here.

“We are in discussions with various governments of Southeast Asian countries to align on a set of safe cruise standards. Some possible destinations include Bali, Penang, Port Klang and Phuket," said STB director of cruise Annie Chang in response to a CNA query.

“We hope to be able to offer cruises out of Singapore with international destinations by end of this year.”

For now, cruises will sail round-trips from Singapore with no ports of call.

The latest offering is Royal Caribbean International's Spectrum of the Seas, which arrived in Singapore waters in March for its first season in the region. It will begin three- and four-night “cruise to nowhere” sailings billed as “Ocean Getaways” on Apr 11.

It was previously announced that the ship would sail from Singapore to Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam from Oct 21, subject to approval from Singapore authorities.

When asked by CNA, Royal Caribbean said this plan remains in place.

“Travellers can look forward to spectacular three- to nine-night sailings that will visit Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, starting Oct 21, 2022,” the cruise operator said.

“The long-awaited comeback of cruising to destinations is subject to approval from the Singapore authorities based on the prevailing health situation and border measures.”

Ms Chang said it is not unusual for cruise lines to release sailings with destinations for bookings ahead of time for business reasons.

“We fully understand the excitement surrounding cruise itineraries with port calls and are cognisant that this is essential to the sustainability and appeal of cruises,” she added.

From Apr 11, Royal Caribbean will be welcoming its first international guests since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The brand's previous cruise to nowhere sailings out of Singapore were only available to Singapore residents and long-term pass holders.

Commentary: Why a boring cruise to nowhere might be just the thing you need

Bon voyage, quantum.

Launched in 2019, Spectrum of the Seas was designed for the Asian cruise market and is able to accommodate up to 4,246 guests and 1,551 crew members, according to Royal Caribbean's website.

It has private suite accommodations in designated areas at the forward end of the ship, 19 dining options and features and activities “which have never before been seen at sea”.

The ship is scheduled to operate out of Singapore until April 2023.

“We are excited that Spectrum of the Seas will call Singapore home for the year ahead; this Quantum Ultra Class ship brings a wealth of adventure across activities, entertainment and dining to our guests,” said vice president and managing director Asia-Pacific of Royal Caribbean International Angie Stephen.

“Extending Spectrum’s Singapore season for a full year demonstrates Royal Caribbean’s commitment to the market and underscores the growth potential for cruising in the region.

“We are thrilled with our success in having returned to sailing with Quantum of the Seas , and Spectrum is the opportunity to showcase innovation and bring holidaymakers even more incredible and memorable holidays.”

With the arrival of Spectrum of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas will conclude its season in Singapore, having operated cruises to nowhere from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre since late 2020.

Quantum of the Seas will head to Alaska for its next season.

According to STB, close to 500,000 people have set sail on cruises out of Singapore since they were reintroduced in November 2020.

Singapore lauded as top cruise destination once again

Singapore was just named top cruise destination by industry experts for a second time in three years at the 10th seatrade cruise awards last thursday (sep 22)..

Singapore, 28 Sep 2016  – Singapore was just named top cruise destination by industry experts for a second time in three years at the 10thSeatrade Cruise Awards last Thursday (Sep 22). This accolade is another feather in the cap for Singapore, which was voted as the top Asian port of call in the inaugural Cruise Critic Cruisers' Choice Destination Awards earlier this month.

"We are honoured that Singapore remains prominent in the minds of the cruise community as an attractive cruise hub. This is testament to our efforts to grow Singapore's cruise industry and strong destination appeal," said Miss Annie Chang, Director, Cruise, Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

In growing Singapore's appeal as a cruise destination, STB has been leveraging Singapore's superb air connectivity, world-class berthing facilities at the Singapore Cruise Centre and Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, and proximity to myriad cruise offerings in the region.

Strengthening Singapore as a cruise hub

The award also caps off years of developmental work that STB, cruise lines and trade partners had put in to grow the cruise industry in Singapore. Some of the initiatives include forging more than 10 marketing partnerships with cruise lines and trade partners to drive cruise passenger numbers, training more than 800 travel agents overseas to raise their capability to sell cruises from Singapore, and widening Singapore's reach to consumers via multiple media platforms in six major source markets.

STB also actively works with local trade partners to curate immersive and differentiated pre- or post-cruise experiences to enrich visitors' stay in Singapore. In August 2016, STB organised a workshop for cruise operators to experience the unique offerings of local bookbinding atelier Bynd Artisan and homegrown scent artisans Je t'aime Perfumery. Participants tried their hands at creating bespoke leather nametags and scent blends of native orchid oils, seeding ideas of innovative experiences which may be offered to cruise passengers.

Developing Southeast Asia as the cruising region of choice

Being the ASEAN[1] lead co-ordinator for cruise development in Southeast Asia, Singapore spearheaded initiatives such as the creation of the first Cruise Southeast Asian brand to promote the region in a unified voice. STB also developed tools such as a regional cruise port and attractions map to help cruise lines develop itineraries.

These efforts have proved fruitful. Singapore experienced a 14% year-on-year increase in cruise passenger throughput in 2015, and major cruise line Royal Caribbean International will have their longest-ever homeporting season[2] in Singapore starting October 2016.

Said Ms Chang: "Singapore and Southeast Asia are set to ride the wave of growth for cruising in Asia and STB will continue to push the boundaries in establishing Southeast Asia as the cruise region of choice. As we mark ASEAN's golden jubilee celebrations next year, we will embark on a VisitASEAN@50 campaign to encourage more visitors to experience cruising in Southeast Asia."

[2] The Ovation of the Seas is one of three of Royal Caribbean's largest ship that will homeport for eight months in Singapore starting October 2016. Together with the Mariner of the Seas and the Voyager of the Seas, the trio will be part of the cruise line's longest-ever homeport season in Singapore. The homeport season will comprise 55 sailings and is expected to bring an estimated 200,000 guests to Singapore and Southeast Asia.
