LAHORE – Pakistanis are required to get visa in order to get entry into Poland for tourism purposes.

You are required to choose C-Type Schengen visit visa if you plan to stay in Poland for a maximum of 90 days in each 180-day period of time.

This means that you are allowed to stay in the Schengen zone legally only if your stay in Schengen countries did not exceed 90 days over the last 180 days.

You can apply for a Schengen visa in a Polish diplomatic mission if:

Poland is the only destination country of your visit to the Schengen zone;

you visit more than one Schengen country, but Poland is your main destination;

you do not know which Schengen country will be your main destination, but you cross the Schengen border for the first time in Poland.

Documents Required for Poland Visit Via

  • Short-stay visa application form duly filled and signed by the applicant. In case of minor(s), form should be signed by both parents.
  • One recent photograph of the applicant (passport size, on white background only, taken not earlier than 6 months before applying for visa).
  • An ordinary passport or other recognized travel document valid for at least three months from the expiry date of the visa applied for. This document must have at least two empty pages. Please bring all your previous passports, if any, and attach copies of used pages with your application (on A4 size paper).
  • Photocopy of your national ID card.
  • If you have been ever refused a visa by any Embassy or High Commission a refusal letter will be required.
  • Original and photocopy of Family Registration Certificate issued by NADRA (in English or with a certified translation if in Urdu).
  • Original signed letter of the applicant’s company/employer stating name, position, salary, duration of employment, address and contact numbers of the employer, purpose and duration of visit to the Schengen state(s). If the applicant is a “student”, original signed letter from the applicant’s school/college or University.
  • Original bank statements of the last six months, duly signed and stamped by bank branch manager. Last three salary slips.
  • Accommodation proof (confirmed hotel reservation in Poland, rent agreement clearly stating your name, rental period dates and accommodation address) covering the entire period of travel.
  • Copy of flight booking(s) – both ways.
  • If the trip is a package tour, attach detailed itinerary.
  • Original AND copy of a travel medical insurance policy of not less than 30,000 Euros. The policy must cover medical and hospitalization expenses for the entire period of valid stay on Schengen territory as well as repatriation costs. Consult valid list of authorized insurance companies in Pakistan as agreed by Schengen partners in Islamabad

The Embassy reserves its right to request additional documents.

Original documents not needed will be returned with passport but only if copies are provided by applicant as requested.

Poland Schengen Visit Visa Fee in Pakistan

The visa application costs Rs24,752. It is non-returnable, whatever the consul’s decision.

Minimum Bank Statement for Poland Visit Visa

The applicant is required to submit proof of sufficient funds for duration of stay, e.g.: (min. amount required is different in each country). Bank and credit statements for last 6 months in addition to the previous year.

Following is the minimum daily required amount for bearing expense of stay in Poland. An applicant is required to show the amount which is enough for the days he/she intends to spend there:

As of December 7, 2023, one PLN is equal to 70.75. It means you need to have around Rs424,500 in your bank account if your stay is for 30 days in Poland.

Poland Schengen Visa for Citizens of Pakistan

With a Poland Schengen Visa, citizens of Pakistan will be allowed to travel to and from over 20 European countries during your visit. In 2007, Poland began to accept Schengen visa travelers in order to boost tourism in Europe.

I want to fly into a different country instead of Poland with the Schengen visa. Is this allowed?

If you specifically apply for a Poland Schengen Visa, then you will need to fly in and out of Poland. Otherwise, you can arrive in and leave from any other Schengen Area member state, but you will have to fill out the visa form for that specific country.

The Poland Schengen Visa does allow you to travel around the Schengen area once you have arrived in Poland.

  • Letter or Certificate of Invitation - Make sure the Polish company you plan to work with supplies a cover letter with detailed contact information and the reasons why you are coming to Poland to conduct business. If the business is planning to pay for your accommodations and travel during the trip, provide detailed information about how the Polish business will supply this financial support.
  • Polish Business Certificate Information - Ask your Polish business company officials to get you the right certification information for your application.
  • Any Previous Trade Arrangements - Have you conducted trade with this company before? Bring documentation showing previous business relations.
  • Financial Report for 6 Months - Show the past 6 months of your business finances.

Poland Schengen Visa Application - Basic Information

No matter your reason, you’ll need the basic information below:

  • Passport Photos - Get extra passport photos to attach to your visa application for Poland. Make sure they have a solid, light background and that your entire face is showing.
  • Medical Coverage for International Travel - You’ll need an insurance policy for international travel that provides a minimum coverage of 30,000 €.
  • Flight Entry/Exit Plans - Show confirmation of your entry and exit dates and travel times. If you will be staying for a while in a separate country than Poland, you may need to supply those plans also.
  • Financial Stability - How will you financially take care of yourself while in Europe? Show this to visa and border officials as requested.
  • Personal Information - All Schengen Area application forms will require your personal information like your state of residence and contact information.
  • Valid Passport Bio Page - Your passport must be valid for 3 months after your return date from Poland. You’ll also need to have two blank passport pages for stamping purposes.
  • Cover Letter or Letter of Intent - Show the reason why you are entering Poland and what business or tourism you will be conducting.

What are the costs associated with getting a Schengen visa for Poland?

Children under 6 years of age are usually free and don’t require payment for their visas. Children 6 years and older and all adults will have to pay for a visa. Poland Schengen Visas can vary in price but usually range from $40 USD to $90 USD (or 40 € to 80 €).
