First the personal at front desk are super nice , helpful, attentive, friendly , and the cleaning ladies are great our room was very clean every day ,we love the pool, super clean .

The Safari Inn is definitely a novelty, yeah? You go because it's in movies, the theme is cute and it's at the heart of LA with easy access day trips out. Noise. Noise. Noise. We were "upgraded" upon arrival to a suite of sorts (which they offered on their own...) and unbeknownst to us, it was an adjoining room. When our neighbors decided to turn the TV on at 4:45am, there was ZERO sound buffer. Our neighbors didn't seem to be blaring the TV. It was on at a normal volume but not only did it wake us up, we could hear every word from whatever reality show they were watching. They then decided to shower and while in the shower, their phone alarm went off. So we spent about 10 mins listening to a TV and a repetitive phone alarm going off until they exited the shower. Then, of course, it was just the TV. Adjoining rooms are cool. But you MUST have some sort of sound barrier. This was ridiculous. I spoke to front desk and just wanted to give them some advice before checking anyone in an adjoining room here at the hotel. Warn them. This "upgrade" was worse than a regular room. I was hoping for some money back. But no. So here I am...up since 4:45am, writing a review on Yelp because I feel it's to least I let you all know...beware of adjoining rooms.

Honestly, this room was a lot better than expected. I was actually expecting a motel quality, but it does feel like a hotel inside the room. I'm referring to the style/decor/etc. You can even pre-order food via a card (aka no need to call and order) and have it delivered to your room at specified time. I did not take advantage of that, but it sounded cool. I did, however, take advantage of their shuttles. That is the main reason why I chose this hotel over other ones for our trip to SoCal this time. If you're going to Universal Studios/flying to Burbank Airport, then I'll definitely recommend this hotel. The shuttles are actually kinda small. It can only fit 9 or 10 people, so definitely plan and arrange ahead if possible. They share the shuttle with their sister hotel, which is right next door. The shuttle leaves right on time, which I was very thankful for. Gotta make sure I arrive on time/early for Nintendo World's early entrance (the line was still ridiculously long as of Sept 2023). We also used their shuttle to go to downtown Burbank + the airport. The pool area is very cute - I'd hang out there if I didn't have a huge list of food places I gotta eat while in SoCal. Apparently the Incredibles 2 used the "Safari Inn" sign in the movie, which I thought was a cool fun fact - shared by our driver, btw. Oh, and the front desk employees are all very professional.

What could improve about this business? Not being greedy and taking some type of empathy. Reached out days before lodging to let them know if there was a possibility of cancelling reservations because I sustained a bad injury to both of my feet bleeding excessively. Basically told me I was SOL because I booked thru 3rd company. They rather had me laying in their bed bleeding on the mattress and ruining sheets. Then to possibly receive a message later that I owe X amount of dollars for damaging property. What will they because I don't show up lol rent it to another person and make some more bucks. Most frustrating thing I had to cut my autistic sons and my yearly Father's Day trip. Next year I will make sure to not bring them any business.

Pet friendly yet pet unfriendly nightly staff. After checking in and while unpacking our stuff, the guy that checked me in minutes prior, called to tell me that we couldn't take our pet on the shuttle or leave unattended in our room. His call was very rude and we had plans for her to be watched and it was none of his business. We booked directly through the hotel and this was in mid May. The other staff were nice and the room was clean. If not for him I would rate 4/5.

I stayed at the Safari Inn for one night. Service at the front desk was very welcoming. I really appreciate the free shuttle service to and from the airport as well. The room was decent. The bed, big and comfy. The kitchenette came in handy to warm up my food. I do wish that check-in was earlier. They allow check-ins starting at 4pm. And they could have done a better job vacuuming the carpet. Despite this, my overall stay went well. I slept great and I would consider staying here again.

Good service, good price and clean rooms. Close to universal studios. Rooms were very clean, no carpets and pretty modern looking. We would stay here again.

My favorite hotel; pure joy to spend time here. Every thing you need is in every room including a full kitchen. The pool is excellent and the restaurants around us are great. Happiest to come to Burbank to visit family and spend time here every year.

The hotel was basic. However, staff were friendly and helpful, and the shuttle service to University Studio was free. CVS is around the corner, restaurants in waking distance, and seems like a safe area. Overall this hotel is a good bang for your buck.

"Perfect Fit!" Great location. Not too far from universal studios. Our room was clean and staff were wonderful. Very helpful, kind and prompt to our needs. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed having a 1st floor room. It made unpacking/packing a family of 5 so much easier. Added bonus, we were able to park our vehicle by our room and NO parking fee! We used the shuttle service, the driver was prompt and kind. Overall great stay! If we’re in the area again this will be our choice to stay. Full Review

Amazing and lovely staff! Hotel itself was clean and in an amazing location, with free shuttles to and from Warner brothers studios and universal studios! Will definitely recommend and be coming back!

I didn’t like that after the first night we didn’t get another card to order breakfast from. We did the room service the first morning but we never got a card again to do it again otherwise we would’ve ordered again.

be sure to schedule your airport shuttle a few days ahead, we were frustrated that they were booked up. Same goes for if you are planning to use their shuttle to Universal, you will likely end up using an uber instead. Coke machine was broken. Would have been helpful to know ahead of time that the shuttle requires advance reservations.

Cool history, and the room had fun period touches. Nice wall showing all the films its been in.

The bathrooms were outdated, and the air-conditioning was loud.

The staff were amazing! Everyone of them! The place was spotless. Although the bathrooms are sadly outdated, the cleaning staff did an admirable job, making them as.comfortable as possible. The absolute best was the shuttle service, to and from the airport, and Universal Studios!

The location was really good, it was close to places to eat and you could easily get to the Hollywood stars walk of fame! The shuttle bus to universal studios was brilliant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was perfect as it was very hot!
