I don't need to say how amazing this man is and how happy I am to have attended this show. On "Live and let die" there was even pyrotechnics and fireworks. Paul was telling us stories, singing and joking, I think he switched more than 5 guitars during the show and the evening was just overall beautiful.
The venue was terrible, though.. There was no warning about not bringing the bags and we had to pay 15 Euros to leave the bag before getting in - backpacks were not allowed at all (so they basically forced us to give this money as it was too late to go back to hotel and leave it there). Also the security check was useless.. We were drinking in line to warm up and forgot about empty bottle in the pocket.. Guess what? We were able to bring a GLASS BOTTLE through security check, cause we didn't remember and they never checked.. What if I was a psycho? It's glass after all.

BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE!! I can say Even one of the most incredible moments of my life. I know what it means being able to see the legend Sir Paul McCartney live and he fullfill all my expectations and way more! His band is absolutely amazing!
But let me tell you the highlight of my year:
I could only afford the cheapest level tickets but I was more than ok with that since i was going to see my idol, then on my way to our seats with my 2 girlfriends, an angel waiting at the top of the stairs ask us to see our tickets and then offer to change them, we were surprised and maybe thinking it was a scam but then she pulled her envelope with 3 FIRST ROW TICKETS!! Best seat in the arena, she identify herself as part of Sir Paul team, and after many thank yous and hugs we went to see the biggest concert.
Thats why he is the absolutely GREATEST rock star of this planet! Beacuse he truly cares about his audiences, i will never in my wildest dreams tought i was going to see able to be on the first row, besides the wonderful drama of the situation his performance was perfect, spotless, he is full of energy and will be forever grateful to him for such an amazing night.
Sir Paul McCartney concert in Munchen was fabulous (Fab four, Fab one :)). The Olympiastadion was full of happy delighted people who were lucky enough to get a ticket. There were Beatles fans along with Wings and Macca fans from many different countries, young and not so young people, all cheerfully singing the everlasting songs and dancing to our beloved music that defined the lives of many of us. The show went on for full 2 hours and 40 minutes, almost 40 songs from all periods, from late 50's to nowadays hits.
For me, it was a once in a lifetime event. I grew up with Beatles and Paul McCartney music, and I have been waiting for a long time for this. It's been a long time since I bought my first Beatles record, even long time since I bought my last one (not to mention I have all Beatles records plus many of their solo albums :)), and the possibility to see one of my heroes live in concert, it was just a dream come true.
It was worth every single penny spent on concert ticket, air ticket, airport transfers, accomodation for couple of days, and of course whole lotta german beer :)
Long live Sir Paul, long live Beatles, forever live their eternal music!

Sir Paul McCartney has announced his first UK tour dates in six years as his Got Back Tour continues.
The 81-year-old will play at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena on December 14 and 15, and at London’s O2 Arena on December 18 and 19.
Sir Paul will also take his Got Back show to France and Spain, after previously announcing upcoming dates in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru this October.
The tour kicked off in April 2022 and has so far made more than $200m (£158m) at the box office.
The shows will see the star play hits from across his career, from the Beatles’ debut single Love Me Do, to Wings’ Band On The Run, and solo hits like Coming Up and Dance Tonight.
It marks his first time performing in the UK since headlining Glastonbury in 2022, when he was joined on stage by Bruce Springsteen and Dave Grohl.
Sir Paul performed Beatles and Wings songs in a set lasting more than two hours, and was joined on stage by Springsteen for Glory Days and I Wanna Be Your Man.
He also sang alongside a virtual John Lennon, played Something on George Harrison’s own ukulele, and brought fireworks to the festival with Live And Let Die.
Tickets for the UK shows will go on sale on June 21 at 10am.

Exclusive: Paul McCartney Touring Guitarist Brian Ray Discusses New Solo Album and His “Incredible Ride” Recording for Little Steven’s Label
Matt Friedlander
Updated:
Longtime Paul McCartney touring guitarist Brian Ray recently released his third solo album, My Town , a 10-track collection of songs that display the veteran musician’s passion for power pop, blues, soul, and melodic 1960s rock.
Videos by American Songwriter
The album, which was released on E Street Band guitarist “Little Steven” Van Zandt ’s Wicked Cool Records label, features six tracks that Ray initially put out as singles over the last several years, plus four newly recorded songs.
[Buy Paul McCartney Concert Tickets]
Ray told American Songwriter that Van Zandt first approached him about signing him to a singles deal in 2017, years after they had first met at a pre-show backstage party while Brian was on tour with McCartney.
“[H]e was so kind and generous, and so curious,” Ray said of Little Steven. “Like, he’s one of those guys that you’re almost thrown off by his genuine enthusiasm for all things music.”

Ray explained that his Wicked Cool Records deal was “a bite-sized amount of commitment” for him, was open ended, and allowed him to be completely available to tour with McCartney.
After amassing several singles, Van Zandt then offered to release a full-length album by Ray. Brian just needed to come up with four new songs and, put together with six previously released tracks, My Town was born.
Van Zandt Co-Wrote a Song on the Album
One of the newer tracks, “Bad 4U,” was co-written by Van Zandt.
“[T]hat was a great collaboration with Little Steven,” Ray noted. “[T]he main character is an adolescent kid in town, who … has a huge crush on a girl, but she likes bad boys. And he himself isn’t a bad boy. He’s a good kid. And instead of finding a good girl … he decides that he, to win her love, is going to be bad too.”
Brian explained that the collaboration came about after he thought he’d finished the tune, and sent it to Van Zandt for his approval.
As Ray recalled, “[Steven] says, ‘It’s just great. I love it. It’s a hit. But I think we should change it. … I think that the main character in the song needs to be stronger. Like, he can’t be like wimpy.’ … And he starts naming off all these great characters. And it became a litany of all the bad boys of cinema. [Y]ou have James Dean … Bob De Niro … Leatherface … [ A ] Clockwork Orange … Norman Bates.”
The music video for the songs, which you can check out on YouTube, features AI recreations of some of the characters mentioned in the lyrics.
About the Musicians Who Contributed to My Town
Ray tapped the talents of a variety of respected musicians to contribute to the various tracks on My Town .
“We have Michael Des Barres, [who] co-wrote a song with me [‘Spell Breaker’] and did a little guest vocals on there,” Brian told American Songwriter . “We have Scott Shriner from Weezer on some background vocals and bass. We have Davey Faragher on some bass, from Elvis Costello’s band [The Imposters]. We have Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums, from Paul McCartney’s band and many others, as well as [drummer] Erik Eldenius, from Billy Idol’s band. … [I]t’s an embarrassment of riches.”
Ray, meanwhile, played guitar, bass, and keyboards on the album, in addition to contributing lead vocals throughout.
About the Latest Single, “Hold Me Close”
The latest, and likely final, single released from My Town is called “Hold Me Close.”
“[I]t’s a song [that features] a theme I’ve returned to a few times,” Ray maintained. “And it’s basically, ‘Come on, babe, get on the back of my motorcycle, or in my spaceship. We’re getting the hell out of here!’”
Brian said he incorporated a variety of musical influences into the track.
“I was kind of bringing in a little bit of Duane Eddy. We have some low baritone reverb guitar,” he pointed out. “We have some sort of Romantics kind of crunchy guitar. A little bit of Ramones in there. And when it comes to the chorus, it kind of leaves and goes to sort of … the early space rock [instrumentals] of the early ’60s, like ‘Telstar’ and ‘Apache.’”
A music video was released to accompany the single that you can check out on YouTube. The mostly animated clip features a romantic couple from another planet that’s in the middle of an apocalypse. The two lovebirds must find a way off the planet and travel to a new world to keep their romance, and themselves, alive.
My Town Release Details
My Town is available now on CD, vinyl LP, and via digital formats. Signed CD and vinyl copies can be purchased at BrianRay.com . Ray’s official site also is offering several exclusive My Town-themed merch items, including T-shirts, mugs, and tote bags.
Appreciates Van Zandt’s Support
Ray told American Songwriter that a great aspect of his deal with Wicked Cool Records is the support he gets from Van Zandt. That includes regular airplay on Little Steven’s Underground Garage SiriusXM radio station, of which Brian is a huge fan.
“It’s just been an incredible ride, and I feel so much support there at the label,” he enthused. “Steven is such a great advocate. He’s a great A&R man, so he’s a perfect foil for my own musical instincts.”
No Current Plans to Play Shows in Support of My Town
Ray said he’d like to play some concerts to promote My Town , but he won’t have the chance for now because of his touring commitments with McCartney.
“Paul has us booked from September 1 till Christmas,” he noted. “So, I’m not gonna have a shot right now to do that, but I would sure love to do it. It would be so much fun.”
Meanwhile, Ray notes that the Beatles legend still loves to tour, something he couldn’t be more happy about.
“There’s no signs of him slowing down,” Brian said. “And, you know, I’ll always be waiting by the phone to see what he wants to do.”
As previously reported, McCartney will be playing concerts in South America, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Europe this fall.
Tickets for McCartney’s concerts are available via a variety of outlets, including StubHub .

Capturing Beatlemania: Sir Paul McCartney photo exhibit coming to SF's de Young Museum
The exhibit debuting in 2025 is called Eyes of the Storm
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Sixty years ago, the Beatles arrived in the Bay Area to kick off their first U.S. concert tour. And the memories of the Fab Four performing before a packed crowd at San Francisco's Cow Palace in August of 1964 are still the stuff that dreams and screams are made of.
And while it's a bit of a hop from the Cow Palace stage to San Francisco's de Young Museum , curator Sally Martin Katz is hoping that same excitement will still echo through in an upcoming photo exhibit. Beatlemania, through the eyes of Sir Paul McCartney.
"So this exhibition covers the period, the three month intense period from December 1963 to February 1964." And so we have a rare opportunity now to see it through McCartney's eyes, to see it from their experience," Katz explains.
MORE: 70 Years of ABC7: Rare behind-the-scenes video of The Beatles visit to San Francisco in 1965
The exhibit is called Eyes of the Storm. Featuring candid photographs, taken by McCartney with his 35-millimeter camera and freshly retrieved from his personal collection. The photos document that mad rush in the year leading up the San Francisco concert.
"I love that the title of the exhibition is called Eyes of the Storm, which really gets at this idea. I mean, the storm that was Beatlemania arriving here in the US, how it took the country by storm, but also this notion of looking, of being eyes and who is looking at who and the direction of gaze is we're used to being the ones looking at them and here he's returning the gaze, looking out at the fans, looking out at the journalists," says Katz.

And McCartney turns his lens on both journalist and his fellow Beatles. Giving audiences an unfiltered look at the innocent joy and unrelenting pressure of their sudden fame.
"The photographs are on the go. They're blurry. We see a sense of movement. And so, you know, they're not as I said, before, not carefully posed images where he's thinking about composition from a very deliberate perspective. But they do, I think, have a lot of value as works of art in and of themselves, not just as documents of a moment in time," Katz believes.
The photos have been on exhibit in New York, and will arrive at the de Young just before spring, running from March 1 through early July. And perhaps reigniting the excitement that swept the Bay Area so many decades ago.

How Oasis 2025 ticket prices compare to Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Paul McCartney... and the Knebworth and Maine Road gigs
There was outrage when it was announced tickets for heaton park comeback gigs would be £150 each.

There was plenty of grumbling when Oasis revealed the ticket prices for next summer's comeback tour . Standing tickets for the band's five Heaton Park gigs in July 2025 are going to set fans back nearly £150 apiece, while 'premium seat packages' for the Cardiff, Edinburgh and Wembley shows are a whopping £250 plus fees.
Reports suggest Noel and Liam could pocket a staggering £50m each from the tour. But with the UK still in the grip of a cost-of-living crisis, it's led some to accuse the band of pricing out large sections of its fanbase.
But how do the Oasis ticket prices compare to other headline-grabbing tours of recent times, such as Taylor Swift and Coldplay? And how do they compare to the mega-gigs at Maine Road and Knebworth in the band's 90s pomp?
READ MORE: Oasis LIVE updates as pre-sale ticket time revealed after extra dates added to 2025 tour
Said to have generated more than $1bn, Taylor Swift's Eras tour is the most lucrative in music history. When the star rocked up at Liverpool's Anfield stadium in June, standing tickets were £143, while seats ranged from £57.90 to £182.75.
Similarly when Coldplay played four nights at the Etihad in June 2023, as part of their Music of the Spheres world tour, tickets started at around £70 for seating and £104 for standing. But those prices pale in comparison to what the Gallaghers' great hero Paul McCartney commanded for his Co-Op Live shows this coming December .
Many fans were left outraged after being asked to shell out up to £600 to see Macca play in Manchester for the first time in 13 years.
So that's how the Oasis 2025 tickets fare in comparison with other popstars of their ilk. But how do they equate to back in the 90s?
It's not completely fair to compare gig prices back then to now, as the the advent of the internet and streaming has completely transformed the way the music industry does business. Whereas before an act would make the bulk of their money through physical sales, platforms like Spotify and Apple Music have now all but wiped out that form of income.
And that means musicians are now more reliant than ever on gigging to earn a living. But still the rise in ticket prices is pretty staggering.
When Oasis walked out at Maine Road on April 28, 1996, the 40,000 fans in the crowd had paid £17.50 to see the band perform what was, at that stage, the biggest gig of their lives. Ironically some of those ticket stubs are now listed on eBay for £50.
And when four months later they went even bigger by performing two nights at Knebworth in front of a quarter of a million people, tickets were priced at £22.50.
In 1996 the average salary in the UK was around £14,000, whereas last year it was £29,700. That means that while wages have roughly doubled in the intervening years, the cost of going to see Oasis has rocketed by almost 600 per cent.

- Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman Announce ‘Sweetheart of the Rodeo’ 50th Anniversary Live Album
Today, Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman of the legendary country-rock pathbreakers the Byrds celebrate a half-century of their landmark sixth album Sweetheart of the Rodeo with a new live release. The forthcoming project, titled Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, With Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives Celebrate The 50th Anniversary Of Sweetheart Of The Rodeo , sets to tape the artists’ 2018 anniversary tribute tour, which brought the unforgettable songs to life once more with some help from Stuart and his band. Set to release on Aug. 30 on vinyl and CD via Friday Music, this soul-stirring revival of the 1968 masterpiece stands as a testament to its massive influence and continued pertinence five decades later.
The 50th Anniversary Of Sweetheart Of The Rodeo release features 24 tracks recorded throughout the 27-stop tour, hand-selected from the ensemble’s setlists by Mick Conley, Stuart’s longtime producer and audio engineer. “It was one of the best tours—if not THE best—I was ever on in 60 years of being in music. Every night was exciting,” Hillman offers, “I couldn’t think of anybody else to do that presentation with other than Marty and the Superlatives,” including a tried and true backing lineup of guitarist Kenny Vaughan, drummer Harry Stinson and bassist and steel guitarist Chris Scruggs. “Listening to this live recording puts me right back on stage with Roger, Marty, Kenny, Harry and Chris,” the artist attests.
“I love the songs and playing with wonderful musicians,” McGuinn concurs. “I loved playing with Marty and the Superlatives, and Chris too. It’s a great band to play with, and they are pros.”
Recalling a tour hailed as not just a reprisal of the 1968 project, but a full-scale salute to the legacy of the Byrds and the unprecedented cosmic country sound they pioneered, the new album reaches far beyond the original 11-song tracklist. Country classics and relatives like Hillman’s “Time Between,” Bob Dylan’s “My Back Pages” and Porter Wagoner’s genre staple “Satisfied Mind” open the album to illustrate the sonic forebearers to the revolutionary release. After a second section comprising a diligent resequenced reproduction of the original tracklist, the live collection concludes with an encore of other Byrds staples “So You Want to Be a Rock ‘n’ Roll Star,” “Eight Miles High” and “Turn! Turn! Turn!”
“Everybody won,” Stuart recalled of the acclaimed tour. “That’s my thought: As a band, we got to be the Byrds, and Roger and Chris got to be Roger and Chris without having to put up with anything that had to do with band life, and the audience saw things and heard things that they never thought they’d ever see again or have never heard or seen before, right?”
Byrds fans who missed out on the 2018 tour can relive the magic and celebrate the memory of Sweetheart of The Rodeo with the live collection, available on all streaming platforms now. To secure a physical copy of the album, visit fridaymusic.com .
