Have you ever gotten that midday craving for a pain au chocolate? Or the sudden urge for a tiramisu latte? I sure do. That’s why the Tous Les Jours Bakery on N. Lamar Blvd is my go-to spot for all my pastry – and fancy-drink needs!

What I love about this popular French-Asian style bakery is that it sells some of the most creatively-flavored, high-quality baked goods, for a great price. Their unique recipes perfectly marry traditional French textures (flakiness, crunchiness, fluffiness) with delectable Asian flavors (matcha, ube, red bean).

The warmly lit interior is reminiscent of a Parisian boulangerie, welcoming pedestrians and passers-by. It truly is the perfect stop for a mid-afternoon break!

Pastries, cakes, beverages and even small meals! Tous Les Jours Bakery’s menu has a wide range of on-the-go food offerings, from sweet to savory. Below we’ve compiled a list of our favorite must-try items.

Bread & Pastries

The artisanal pastries at Tous Les Jours are my absolute favorite. Their deliciously soft milk bread, not only comes in a cute gift-style package but also is filled with some of the creamiest pudding-like filling I have ever had.

Looking for something a little more savory? I’d steer you toward the wide-array of croissants they bake fresh every morning. They are the perfect balance of buttery and flaky with multiple flavors such as Traditional, Chocolate, Strawberry, Almond, and Hazelnut Chocolate!

Wanting to try something new? One of the latest additions to the Tous Les Jour menu is the Honey Cheese Mochi pancake, inspired by a popular Korean street food called ‘Hottoek’. The cream cheese filling and sweet honey glaze perfectly compliment the fluffiness of this one-of-kind pancake. I’d highly recommend this item, for both newcomers and long-time patrons!

In addition to quick snacks, Tous Les Jours sells masterfully-crafted cakes (by the slice and whole)! I personally like that they have such a large selection of different kinds of cakes, such as Cloud, Buttercream, and Mousse. Not only that! Tous Les Jours regularly adds new cakes on a rotating seasonal menu – inspired by holidays and seasonal flavors.

Some of the cutest cakes I have seen include… the spookalicious “PB& J Cake” served during Halloween which included a strawberry jam filling and a decorative ghost on the side and the Thanksgiving “Fall Sweet Potato Cake” adorned with a festive autumnal wreath. In addition to their seasonal flavors, Tous Les Jours keeps some of their most popular flavors all year long, such as the Triple Chocolate Mousse and the Classic Mocha. Their mocha cake has a fluffy, creamy texture and just the right amount of sweetness, whereas, the Triple Chocolate mousse is a chocolate lover’s heaven with three creamy layers on top!

Don’t forget to pair your pastries with a signature coffee or herbal tea! Personally, I like to have their coffees in the morning. Some days, I go for some of their classic drinks, on others, I like to be more adventurous! I’d recommend their Honey Lavender Macchiato or Iced Tiramisu latte.

My wife, born and raised in Japan, loves this place; to her, an authentic Japanese bakery. Red bean buns, milk bread, macaroons; it's all there. Along with coffee, bubble tea, and some tables to sit and enjoy your treats. It's open late, but the stock... dwindles, so get there early. More

Being a Korean I am ashamed that they call their Bing Su, Korean shaved ice. They offered no different flavor varieties or toppings. The ice that they used is not even shaved. Its crushed. They literally take ice cubes and crush them. They charged me... about $10 for one cup of crushed ice with chalky disgusting toppings. When I took back the desert after taking two spoonfuls I was told, "Well, that's how we make it here." There was no concern to make this right after overcharging me for some disgusting crushed ice. Not only will I never go back here, I will discourage all people I know from going there. Everything is terribly overpriced. More

Most if not all of their food is good. The problem is with their operations. They never have enough croissants and baguettes, to give just an example, to sell. They generally run out of them by noon of each day. After months, I guess by... now they must and should have known that their customers like croissants and baguettes in oder for them to increase daily production!? But instead of baking more, they now resort to a disgusting practice of asking their customers to pre-order and pay upfront the day before! Go figure! I hope this post catches the attention of the FRANCHISOR so they can enforce their terms of franchise agreement because I'm sure any franchisee can't just bake whatever they want to without any consideration of their customers' needs! Just bake more croissants and baguettes because you always sold them out before day end anyways! Thanks! More

In the Brentwood section, there are more Asian markets and restaurants appearing. Tous les Jour bakery gives you the chance for foods with a French asian flavor. The bakery is in a strip mall with a Korean market and a Korean restaurant. There are some... baskets with fresh items but most of what is available is in cellophane wrap. There is a counter for brightly frosted cases and cupcakes and cookies but most of the pieces for a cup of coffee or tea are all carefully wrapped. Unfortunately, the bun I tried was chewy and no doubt slightly steamed when packaged. The bun was a red bean bun with raisins and nuts and had a tasty filing. The interior however, was not fully cooked and doughy. There are many other items to choose from and there is a seating area if you want to consume it on premise with a cup of coffee or tea. Service is pleasant and efficient. More

I have been to several Tous Les Jours in Korea, Houston, etc. This is a smaller place than ususal but same concept. I bought several different pastries and a cappuchino and everything was excellent. They put a little cinnamon in the cappucino (automatically) it seems.... I like it but some ppl may not care for it. The bathrooms are extremely close to the kitchen due to space limitations and I didn't care for that but overall, due to professional, courteous and professional service and extremely fresh (minutes old?) pastry I had there, I had to give them five stars... My favorite is the Milk Bun. Soft bread with a creamy vanilla cream inside. I've bought several different pastries here, as well as a loaf of their Milk Bread. So yummy! Made French toast with that thick, tasty bread and it was out of this... world! More

Food: Came here to pick up a chocolate cake- there was one chocolate cloud cake and it was a hit w everyone. Super light and airy :) Ambiance: Cute cafe, lots of pastries to choose from and even individual cake slices. They also sell coffee/matcha and boba tea. Service: I came on a Saturday afternoon and the two employees behind the counter were so helpful. I asked one about the chocolate cake and they were super helpful, going into detail about what makes the cake really yummy. Great customer service! The happy birthday chocolate sign was given to me at no cost- which the employee advertised! TLDR: light and air, yummy chocolate cloud cake. Excellent ordering experience and friendly employees

I love their cakes, sweet treats, and pastries. The fact that it's close to home makes it even better. My only complaint is that it's get dirty quickly. People need to learn how to clean up after themselves. Disgusting! And the staff needs to get on top of the cleanliness all the time as well. Wiping tables, sweeping, mopping, organizing the drink station, etc.

Omg omg this is such a cute place with lots of variety. The strawberry whip cream croissant was amazing and yummy. I can't wait to go back. There is nothing to say that is bad only great things you can't go wrong coming here. They have drinks and bakery stuff and even gifts.

Got an ube latte, matcha latte, and a variety of pastries. Always good at tous les jours, know what to expect. This location is fine - could have cleaner tables. But food is as expected.

Lots of interesting options for food and drink. Everything looks super tasty! Place is relatively small, but thankfully I was able to find a spot to sit and study at. Vibe is bright and vibrant I'd say. A pleasant place to do work at. They do have free wifi so I'd say yes this is a good place to quietly work at!

We first tried this bakery in Charlotte and fell in love. When we drove by it when in this area, we had to stop. This one was a lot smaller than the Charlotte one. This time we tried: - Taro Cream Bread - Yuzu Pie - Mushroom Onion Cheese Pastry I loved all three of them. I think the Taro Cream Bread might have been my favorite, but it's a hard choice. If you've never been, I'd highly recommend stopping here or at one in another city.

I went to pick up some Mother's Day cakes at Tours Les Jours, and it was packed that morning. There were very many customers and it was getting a little hectic in the small store, so I really applaud the employees for working so diligently and professionally under all of that stress. One employee even helped me carry some of my cakes out to the car which I really appreciated! My order consisted of 2 mango cakes, 1 strawberry, and 1 cheesecake. Everyone thought the cakes were absolutely delicious and beautiful! Love the service and the cakes. Thank you!

Very nice French Patisserie that has authentic French pastry and sweets. Service was quick. The Place has a small seating area with few tables. It's a relatively small place on a very quiet street. There is a parking in the back that is convenient. Will be coming back to try the breakfast items such as the croissant, pain aux raisins, etc.

My first time here and it's a very nice bakery. Everything I purchased was excellent and I definitely will return to this bakery. The milk bread was wonderful and my mother enjoyed it too.
