Red Decker Company provides double-decker bus tours around Hobart, in southern Tasmania. Join the official sightseeing tour; choose from 20 different stops featuring the best cultural sights and attractions in and around the city. The bus tour was really wonderful

The bus tour was really wonderful. With the nice GPS commentary guide, we were able to find more about the history of Hobart. We were able to see lots of places such as the battery point and cascade brewery. It is a must thing to do if your planning to visit Hobart.

What a great ride

What a great ride! Very easy to find the bus stops for the Red Double Decker bus hop on hop off tour in Hobart,all the bus drivers were very friendly and gave very informative information on all the key tourist sights and the history behind each of them, the timetables were set out so you could explore the areas you wanted and hop back on the bus to see another point of interest, I highly recommend this bus tour! 5 stars!

Good to know

• Pre-booking is essential for this tour.
• When booking,  select your preferred date and time for your kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Pass.  Your 48hr Red Decker City Loop ticket is valid for 48hrs from the time you first board the Red Decker double-decker bus.
• The temperature on kunanyi/Mt Wellington is about 10°C cooler than the temperature in Hobart city. There’s a chance you’ll experience four seasons in one day with sunshine, wind and rain – even snow is a possibility! Bring a warm jacket and  check the weather before you go.

• There’s limited access to food and water on kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Bring your own or visit  Lost Freight Cafe (open 7 days) at The Springs or  Fern Tree Tavern  (open Tuesday to Sunday) near Fern Tree Park.
• kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer buses can carry 4 mountain bikes on each departure. To reserve a space for your bike, please make sure to include bike freight ($10 per bike) at the time of booking your bus pass, at least 30 minutes prior to departure.  Most importantly, bikes MUST be loaded at the Brooke Street Pier pick-up point at least 20 minutes prior to departure.
• Our primary fleet of buses are wheelchair accessible. However, some bus services may not be wheelchair accessible. So it’s most important to let us know before your tour. Sydney Double Decker

An open-top double-decker bus will take you around the city for 24 or 48 hours, depending upon the ticket you buy, and give you sufficient time to see all the main attractions the city has to offer, as you can hop off at any of their thirty four select stops situated all around the city.

The tour would be complemented by engaging commentary that will fill you in on all the riveting details and history attached with each stop. You have the option of staying at a certain stop longer if you want, and you can hop on board for the next stop, because the bus leaves a stop at an interval of twenty minutes each time. Sydney is constructed about the most picturesque harbor in the world, with gargantuan skyscrapers, phenomenal buildings and exhibits of engineering mastery which leave the viewers awestruck upon first sight. The climate is sunny and clear all around the year so an open-top bus ride is exceptionally enjoyable.
