News: Imagine Dragons Announce Milton Keynes Show As Part Of Mercury Tour

Following the announce of their Mercury world tour 2022 and in celebration of the release of their latest album, Mercury – Act 1, Imagine Dragons our announcing one U.K. show on the 2022 world tour. The show will be taking place on Saturday 18th June 2022 at Stadium MK, before continuing onto Europe, concluding the world tour in Paris. Tickets for the U.K. show go on general sale Friday 19th November at 9am via LiveNation.co.uk. Tickets for European dates are already on general sale.

In celebration of the release of their latest album, Mercury – Act 1, Imagine Dragons announce their Mercury World Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 2022 tour kicks off on 28th May for the first two nights at Letnany Airport in Prague, Czech Republic making stops in stadiums and green fields across Europe in Moscow, U.K and Berlin before wrapping up in Mönchengladbach, Germany at Sparkassen Park on 14th July. The 2022 summer run will also see the Las Vegas outfit top the bills at some of Europe’s most iconic festivals including I-Days, Rock Werchter, Pinkpop and Lollapalooza Paris. Following the release of their third studio album, EVOLVE, and with dates already confirmed across North America, Imagine Dragons have announced the addition of Europe to their EVOLVE World Tour. On February the 19th Imagine Dragons perfomed at the Ziggo Dome! Tickets were on sale via Ticketmaster.nl. Imagine Dragons was  On Top Of The World  at their concert at the Ziggo Dome! The ambiance was amazing and the fans enjoyed every minute. Everyone sang, danced and screamed along with hits like "Radioactive" and "Thundur", but Imagine Dragons stole our hearts with acoustic versions of "Amsterdam" and "Bleeding Out" at the B-Stage.  Do you want to see more from this concert? Check the photos at our facebookpage!  Imagine Dragons’ third studio album, EVOLVE, released June 23rd, has already attained global success with the highest first week streams for an alternative rock band ever. The album has achieved Platinum certification in 5 countries and Gold certification in an additional 12 since release, amassing over 1 billion Spotify streams to date. In the US, where EVOLVE is the only rock album to be certified Gold this year, the lead single “Believer” stayed #1 at Alternative radio for 12 weeks breaking a previously held 13 year record at the format for number of spins. Follow up single “Thunder” has garnered over 331 million total streams to date.

Grammy Award Winning Band To Headline Largest North America Shows of Their Career

Today, multi platinum Grammy award winning rock band Imagine Dragons have announced 20 new shows on their massive Mercury World Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the summer North American tour celebrates the release of their latest album, Mercury – Act 1 (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) kicking off this August in Salt Lake City, UT with special guests Macklemore and Kings Elliot on select dates and making stadium stops in Boston, Toronto, and their hometown of Las Vegas before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA in September. This tour will mark the band’s biggest North American shows of their career to date.

On the heels of “Enemy,” which has topped the Alternative Radio chart for the past seven weeks and is rapidly ascending at Top 40 radio (#10) and Hot AC (#9), Imagine Dragons unveiled their new single , “Bones,” the first new music from their forthcoming release Mercury – Act 2. A spirited examination of life and death, the song explodes with an infectious chorus that celebrates the intangible spark that ignites our beings. Imagine Dragons teamed up with esteemed producer Rick Rubin on Mercury – Act 1 , which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts. Mercury – Act 1 marks the band’s first new music since their 2018 album Origins, and features the singles “ Wrecked ”, “ Cutthroat ” and “ Follow You .” “Follow You” reached No. 1 on both Mediabase’s Alternative Radio chart and Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart. It marked the band’s quickest ascent to the top of the Billboard chart, surpassing the seven-week climb for “Natural” in 2018 and eight-week climb for “Believer” in 2017.

Billboard’s Top 3 rock songs of the decade belonged to the band – “Believer,” “Thunder” and “Radioactive.” Formed in 2009, Imagine Dragons developed a grassroots following with a series of independently released EPs before making their major label debut on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope with the 2012 EP Continued Silence. Their highly anticipated fifth studio album Mercury – Act 1 was released on September 3, 2021. Teaming up with esteemed producer Rick Rubin and with its title drawing inspiration from the word “mercurial,” Mercury – Act 1is a candid album that abandons metaphorically charged lyrics and instead embraces emotional extremities, holding nothing back. It marks the band’s first album since 2018’s ORIGINS.

“Follow You” and “Cutthroat” were the first glimpses into the new record, released simultaneously in March 2021, with the former hitting No. 1 at alternative radio and Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, marking the band’s quickest ascent to the top of those charts. The album’s current single, “Wrecked,” is a confessional exploration of grief, written by lead vocalist Dan Reynolds after losing his sister-in-law to cancer in 2019.

Macklemore most recently released his new single “Next Year” featuring Windser (Oct 29). The new record is produced by Ryan Lewis, the first new song the two have made in five years. Macklemore’s next full length project will arrive in 2022. 

Multi-platinum and GRAMMY award winning rapper Macklemore has made history as an independent artist with a combination of commercial success, critical acclaim and international appeal. ‘GEMINI’, Macklemore’s first solo effort in 12 years, was released in 2017 and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and #1 on the charts for Rap, R&B/Hip-Hop, and Independent Albums. ‘GEMINI’ includes three Platinum-certified singles, “Glorious” (featuring Skylar Grey), “Good Old Days” (featuring Kesha), and “Marmalade” (featuring Lil Yachty).

Recently, the Seattle rapper has featured on international platinum hits “Summer Days”, alongside Martin Garrix and Patrick Stump, and “These Days” with Rudimental, Jess Glynne and Dan Caplen. He’s recently performed on Ellen and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and was a guest artist on NBC’s hit new series “Songland”. 

ABOUT KINGS ELLIOT

Introducing herself to the world with a rarely-seen example of complete, raw honesty, the visual for Kings Elliot’s debut single ‘I’m Getting Tired Of Me’ acts as an emotional punch in the gut. A stark piece of candid black and white footage, captured as the half-British, half-Swiss singer had a crippling panic attack whilst shooting what she had intended to be the ‘proper’ video for the track, it’s an uncomfortable image that belies the sweet sounds that surrounded it.

In truth, however, it’s a duality that sits at the heart of everything she creates. On one hand, Kings Elliot is a wildly ambitious artist, who strives to create unique soundscapes for her confessional songs; on the other, she’s a young woman who has had to learn to embrace her struggles, who — having been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder — has fought internal demons her entire life in order to get to this point, and for whom music is not only a want but a need.

If tenacity and perseverance are things Kings Elliot has had to embrace more than most, then the songs that make up debut EP ‘Chaos In My Court’ — released track-by-track since that debut last year — are testament to the importance of both strength and vulnerability.

Musically, the singer draws inspiration from the wistfully melancholic melodies of the ’40s and ’50s, realising that a version of this soothing world was where she needed her own often fraught and turmoil-laden lyrical sentiments to live, turning them into devastating songs that sound uniquely current, yet timeless.

‘Dancing Alone,’ which details the tricky task of navigating a relationship whilst having Borderline, and cinematic follow-up ‘Bitter Tonic’ — which fills its lyrics with courtly metaphors for struggle and spawned the EP’s title — are keen examples of this: tracks that explore dark and difficult emotions with a sweetness of melodic touch. ‘Call Me A Dreamer’ and ‘The Outsider’ complete Kings’ debut EP — the former, a song to her ‘well’ self to remind her that the rollercoaster is still continuing; the latter a yearning lament of someone who wants nothing more than to belong somewhere.

Though Kings Elliot might always consider herself an outsider to some degree, now she has an outlet through which to channel her hopes and fears, with an ever-growing audience and a debut release that acts as an empathetic, important opening statement for an artist destined to mean much to many people.

Imagine Dragons extend blockbuster world tour

The Mercury World Tour now comprises 53 dates across North America and Europe, including arenas, stadiums and festivals

Multi-platinum Grammy award-winning band Imagine Dragons have added three more dates to their extensive Mercury World Tour .

The North American leg of the tour, produced by Live Nation, will be extended with dates in Allentown (16 February), Seattle (5 March) and Montreal (4 May).

The 2022 tour kicks off on 6 February at FTX Arena (cap. 21,000) in Miami, Florida, making stops across North America and Europe before wrapping up on 16 July at Lollapalooza in Paris, France.

The entire tour , which celebrates the release of their latest album ‘Mercury – Act 1’, includes a total of 53 dates at arenas, stadiums and festivals.

The North American leg of the tour will be extended with dates in Allentown, Seattle and Montreal

The European leg comprises 18 stops across the continent, including several major festivals, like I-Days in Italy (11 June) Pinkpop in the Netherlands (19 June) and Rock Werchter in Belgium (2 July).

Luxembourg’s Rockhal Open Air (16 June), Poland’s Open’er Festival (29 June) and Spain’s Mad Cool Festival (7 July) are also part of the Mercury World Tour routing.

Stadium dates include Luzhniki Stadium (cap. 81,000) in Moscow, Russia, Ernst-Happel Stadion (51,000) in Vienna, Austria, and Letnany Airport (60,000) in Prague, Czech Republic.

Tour support will be provided by MØ and Grandson in North America and Lany in Europe.

The concert was really great. Every members of the band had SO much energy that they shared with the public. Dan Reynolds made a speech on the LGBT youth at some point during the concert and that was great, he spoke with his heart and the public gave this love back. The light were blowing our minds and they were at their best during the whole concert.

At some point, there only were instumentals and the singer (Dan Reynolds) lied down on the ground and started doing yoga, which was pretty funny.

In the middle of the concert, they went on the second stage (smaller and in the middle of the room) so everyone could see them.

They ended the concert with the first song we have (my sisters and I) discovered them with six years ago.

I truly encourage people to go to their concert because they are one of the most fantastic band of the 21th century.

PS: if I can share an advise, if you really want to bring a goodie home, buy it BEFORE the concert. At the end, there are a lot of people and, I guess, less choice (we bought it before the concert so we had all the pleasure and time to choose what we wanted)

I’ve been listening to the group since so long, and the first song I heard from them was Radioactive, which everyone knows I’m sure of it. The concert run an hour late, but nobody was complaining and they started with I don’t know why, which immediately put everybody in the mood. There was many generations mixed, and all the adults around me didn’t really knew imagine dragons, weren’t really sure if they were going to like it, and were really surprised to see they were just loving the concert. The group was playing and singing at the perfection, all of them was contributing to the making of each songs, and there was such a good atmosphere it was really incredible. Dan Reynolds (the lead singer) talked really often to the crowd during the show and also took a moment to raise awareness about LGBT youth, which was a really touching moment. Their energy, their complicity with each other, everything was perfect, and the last song, radioactive, there so well known hit, just ended the concert with a great energy. I loved it, probably one of the best concert I’ve ever been. Imagine dragons is not like many artists who just come on stage, say hi, sing ( either in playback, or wrong), don’t interact with the crowd, and get out of stage without a thank you. Imagine dragons talked to us so many times it was really pleasant, I’ve never seen a group or an artist take the time to say something relevant, they even went into the crowd during the show, to the back of the concert hall so people in the back could see them at least for 3 songs. It was perfect, and I sure will go to their next concert, because seeing Imagine dragons in live, is just magic and unforgettable.

This was the first concert that we took our two children to (ages 10 and 12) and they had a great time! The venue (Shoreline Amphitheater) was fantastic and we enjoyed our view from the lawn.

The opening bands were engaging and certainly warmed up the crowd! When Imagine Dragons appeared, our kids were really excited and ready for a "full concert experience"! Imagine Dragons did not disappoint! They played all the popular songs as well as some older ones. They even changed stages halfway through the concert which was a great bonus! The band definitely knew how to keep the crowd engaged from asking us to sing along to "Yesterday" and even releasing large balloons for the crowd to bat around throughout the second half of the concert.

Their final few songs, which included Radioactive, were absolutely brilliant! They had so much energy at the end it was infectious! Their extended drumming section in Radioactive was awesome! They ended with two songs instead of a typical walk off and then come back for an encore. Their final song, Believer, was a rocking anthem that had us all walking away singing at the end of the concert. Overall, it was a great first concert for my kids and a great reminder of why live music matters so much!

Imagine Dragons adds summer shows to 'Mercury World Tour'. Special hometown show at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, September 10, 2022. 

Multi-platinum GRAMMY award-winning rock band Imagine Dragons have announced 20 new shows on their massive Mercury World Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the summer North American tour celebrates the release of their latest album,  Mercury – Act 1  (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) and will make a stop in their hometown of Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. Joined by special guests Macklemore and Kings Elliot, this tour will mark the band’s biggest North American shows of their career to date.

General tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. PT on  Ticketmaster.com . Allegiant Stadium and Live Nation customers will have access to a presale beginning Thursday, March 31 at 10 a.m. PT.

In celebration of the release of their latest album, Mercury – Act 1 , Imagine Dragons have announced their forthcoming Mercury Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 2022 tour kicks off on February 6th at FTX Arena in Miami, FL making stops across North America in Raleigh, Montreal (QC), Minneapolis, and more before wrapping up in Phoenix, AZ at the Footprint Center on March 14.

General tickets go on sale starting Friday, September 10th at 10 AM local time on Ticketmaster.com . American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning today, September 7 at 12 PM local time through Thursday, September 9 at 10 PM local time.

The band’s highly anticipated fifth studio album Mercury – Act 1 found Imagine Dragons teaming up with esteemed producer Rick Rubin. With the title drawing inspiration from the word “mercurial,” Mercury – Act 1 is a candid album that abandons metaphorically charged lyrics and instead embraces emotional extremities, holding nothing back. It marks the band’s first album since 2018’s Origins .
