Daniel was an amazing guide. A truly caring person who wants his travelers to maximise their travel experience. He's always happy, joyful and lots of positive energy bursting at the rim. He knows his history well and we learned so much from him. The last night's dinner was like high school graduation when we all didn't want to part ways. Even if it was already so late at night and Daniel almost missed his last train home, he stuck with us to the last minutes saying our sad goodbyes to all our newfound friends through G Adventures. And...... Daniel is a rock star at karaoke night!! We never laughed so hard in our life. What an great CEO. What a great group of amazing people. Thank you so much. Daniel, just a piece of advise which you already know because we have actually told you..... Please slow down, it's so hard to catch up with you and your fast walking pace. Hahaha. Take care and all the best.

A fantastic experience with carefully picked activities led and managed by an experienced guide who educated our group about many of the Korean attractions our group was scheduled to see. The trip was even better than we hoped and the fact that we didn't have to manage any logistical tasks ourselves gave more time to enjoy the multitude of experiences. Weather only affected a couple of our activities, since we chose one of the better times of the year to visit.

Jay was a really great tour guide! The focus of the trip highlighted a lot of Korean Culture and Heritage. On this trip there were many people from all over the world, yet Jay was able to individually connect and accommodate everyone. I enjoyed Jay’s analogies between modern culture and historical culture. He also has good sense of humor and is very caring. The food is very good too. We had tried different kind of Korea food. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants great vibes and fun.

Soulful South Korea

It was a great trip! We kept busy the entire time while also having some free time, had a lot of really great traditional Korean food at spots you would probably never find otherwise. And did a lot of activities! A lot of tours tend to be less focused on food/activity and more on museums/things to see. So it was nice to get one to keep me active! Everything was nicely planned and alternatives were always ready should there be bad weather.

With a few exceptions, the tour guides were very good. For this price you would want any hotel on the level of a 4 star hotel. If you only stay in a city for one night, it would be very nice if you arrived there by 4 p.m. at the latest so that you can explore the city by yourself.

Premium South Korea

9 days | dive into the history, culture and cuisine of south korea.

Intricate and colourful detail on Gyeongbok Palace, Seoul

On this nine-day Premium adventure, you’ll explore the culture and cuisine of South Korea from unique perspectives with a local leader who has all the insights. Start in Seoul with a bowl of steaming hot pot and meet with a North Korean defector to learn their fascinating story. Wander through Gyeongbukgung Palace before heading to a local home for a private food lecture. Enjoy a bibimbap in Jeonju and learn about the town’s rich art culture. Walk through bamboo forests before heading for Mt Gaya’s Hainesa Temple, where you’ll stay overnight, meditate like the monks, and chat with a local monk over tea. Visit iconic sites in Mokpo and then explore Purple Island at your own pace – before ending it all on Jeju Island – where you’ll chat with a local Haenyno woman and visit UNESCO’s Seongsan Ilchulbong for the most scenic views in Korea!

Trip overview

  • Visit the home of Daniel Gray, a food expert and food tour pioneer who worked on Netflix’s Steet Food Asia Seoul, for a fascinating lecture on local cuisine, food history and a homemade meal.
  • Immerse yourself in the local way of life for Korean monks at your Premium Feature Stay in Hainesa Temple on Mt Gaya – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Three Jewels Temples representing Dharma.
  • Visit Jeju Island, where you’ll visit Seongsan Ilchulbong or Jeju Seongsan Sunrise Mountain/Castle – a volcanic peak nicknamed Sunrise Peak with sweeping panoramic views that earned Korea its first ever UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Enjoy the vibrancy of Purple Island near Mokpo, where the colours of lilac and lavender fields have spread to the entire town.
  • Meet a local Haenyno – one of the local women divers who go diving for shellfish 10 m under the sea on Jeju Island. Learn about the local fishing culture and why these women, some in their 80s, still practice diving.
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Intrepid Foundation partner, Eden Reforestation Projects. Donations help them provide local employment opportunities and tackle climate change one tree at a time as they restore forests across 10 different countries. Intrepid will double the impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Intrepid Foundation.
  • Part of travelling with Intrepid means respecting local cultures and sensibilities. You will visit the Hainesa Temple and the DMZ on this trip, and this requires a level of modesty. Be sure to bring clothes that cover the arms and pants or skirts that go past the knees.
  • South Korea is best explored on foot. In fact, most travellers are surprised at how much distance they end up covering! Make sure your shoes are comfy and you are fit enough to spend most of each day on your feet.

Eoseo oseyo! Welcome to Korea. An airport transfer is included in this trip to take you to your hotel. Your adventure begins in Seoul, where you’ll have a welcome meeting at 6 pm. After meeting your fellow travellers and trip leader, you’ll head out on a short walking tour of modern Seoul and the Gongdeok entertainment district. Attend a group welcome dinner of Korean hotpot – a delicious favourite full of mixed vegetables, meat and noodles. Learn more about Korean local food over your dinner and drinks and then after, maybe walk along the tranquil Cheonyecheon stream or visit the Gwangjang or Dongdaemun night market.

  • Lotte city Mapo or similar (1 night)
  • Seoul - Orientation Walk

It’s very important that you attend the welcome meeting as we will be collecting insurance and emergency contact details at this time. If you are going to be late, please let your travel agent or hotel reception know. Ask reception or look for a note in the lobby for more information on where the meeting will take place.

This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at a local cafe. Then, you’ll visit the home of Daniel Gray – the food expert that worked on Netflix's Street Food Asia Seoul. Sit down for an exciting lecture on Korean food history and then take the opportunity to help make your lunch while you taste local delicacies and drinks from all over the country. After, take public transport to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty which dates back to 1395, and Bukchon – the North Village – which is home to many restored traditional Korean houses known as hanok.

  • Seoul - Gyeongbukgung Palace
  • Seoul - Korean Food Lecture and Homemade Lunch
  • Seoul - Bukchon Hanok Village

Rising early, it’ll be a thought-provoking morning as you visit the South Korean side of the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ). After stopping for breakfast on the way, you’ll learn how this peninsula has been divided ever since the devastating Korean War. Here you may have the chance to meet with a North Korean defector and hear their harrowing tale. You’ll visit to points of interest including the Third Tunnel of Aggression and Imjingak Peace Park. After some free time for lunch, a private transfer will take you to the picturesque village of Jeonju. Dinner will be at a traditional bibimbap restaurant – the bibimbap here is listed as the representative bibimbap of Korea.

  • Jeonju Ggotsim hotel or similar (1 night)
  • Seoul - North Korean Defector meeting
  • Seoul - DMZ Tour and Imjingak Peace Park

Your travel time today will be approximately 5 hours.

Please note that meetings with defectors are notoriously difficult to arrange. This meeting may take place on a different day or location to guarantee the best possible experience.

For breakfast this morning, you’ll enjoy a local delicacy – Jeonju beansprout rice soup. You’ll then hop in a private transfer and drive to Damyang where you’ll head out on a scenic bamboo forest walk. Try some of the popular bamboo ice cream and for lunch, try another local delicacy – tteok galbi – marinated and charcoaled beef. You can then continue the culinary delights with an optional visit to a local roastery café, famous for their baked goods. Or, you can stretch your legs on a walk around Damyang, stopping in at the local shops and parks. Visit a brassware store and workshop and learn about the craft from the craftsman himself, and then walk around the Hanok village and learn about Jeonju's art culture. Head back to Damyang, where the evening is then free for you to choose your own adventure.

  • Damyang - Bamboo Forest Walk
  • Jeonju - Hanok Village
  • Jeonju - Brassware Workshop

Your travel time today will be approximately 2 hours.

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you’ll start the drive to Gayasan National Park on Mt Gaya to check out Haeinsa Temple – your incredible Exclusive Feature Stay for tonight! This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the Three Jewels Temples representing Dharma or the Buddha’s teachings. When you arrive, you’ll have some tea with one of the monks to learn about his life here, the history of the temple and his story. Following the temple’s schedule for the rest of a day, take an afternoon orientation and tour the temple with a local guide and then sit down for dinner as a group. As per the temple’s schedule, you’ll also take part in an evening meditation before bed.

  • Haeinsa temple or similar (1 night)
  • Haeinsa - Tea with a monk
  • Haeinsa - Temple Tour and Dinner
  • Haeinsa - Evening Meditation

Your travel time today will be approximately 2.5 hours.

Haeinsa Temple is a National Temple so if there is a holiday or special meeting on the day we are meant to visit, another temple will be arranged.

Bidding your farewells to Haeinsa Temple, you’ll head to the island archipelagos of Mokpo. When you arrive, you’ll have a homemade lunch at a local’s home and learn about life in South Korea’s southern regions. Finally, a tranquil drive will take you to the beautiful Purple Island. Famous for its blooming lilacs and lavender, the iconic purple bridge leading into town is said to have been built by a legendary monk looking to unify the islands. Then it’s back to your accommodation in Mokpo, where you’re free for the evening. It is recommended you take the sprawling cable cars that span the city and harbour or go for a walk on the beach and visit a local café, bar, or music club.

  • Lahan hotel Mokpo or similar (1 night)
  • Shinan - Purple Island Visit
  • Mokpo - Dinner with a local family

Your travel time today will be approximately 3.5 hours.

This morning after breakfast, you’ll drive to Mokpo Harbor and take a ferry to Jeju Island. After checking in to your accommodation, your leader will take you on a tour of the island’s eastern coast. For lunch you’ll stop in at Jeju Folk Village and feast on seafood, rice and soup. After, visit an orange farm for a citrus-themed refresh, then head to Seongsan Ilchulbong (translating to castle mountain). Nicknamed Sunrise Peak, this gorgeous viewpoint was created by volcanic activity in the sea about 5000 years ago. This is also the first site in Korea ever registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is now one of the most popular scenic destinations in Korea. Take your time enjoying the panoramic views of the ocean, Udo Island, Hallasan Mountain and the volcanic landscape and then head to your accommodation where you have a free evening.

  • Lotte city Jeju or similar (1 night)
  • Mokpo - Ferry to Jeju
  • Jeju - Orange Farm
  • Jeju - Jeju Folk Village
  • Jeju - Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) Visit

Your travel time today will be approximately 6 hours.

This morning after breakfast, your exploration of Jeju Island will extend to the island’s west. Visit the volcanic stone salt flats at Gu-eom Salt Field and walk among the coastal rock formations. Then, head to Jeju Green Tea Farm – the tea culture in Jeju is strong, and here, you can even pick up your own bag of local green tea. Take in the impressive sight of Sanbansan Mountain this afternoon – a huge lava dome often circled with clouds, which creates a mystical atmosphere. The impressive natural wonders will continue with a walk along Yeongmeri Beach’s Olleh hiking road, the layers of stacked sandstone creating an otherworldly scene. Finally, you’ll meet with a local Haenyno – one of the local women divers within the community who go diving for shellfish 10 m under the sea. Learn about the local fishing culture here and why these women, some in their 80s, still practice diving. Head out to a final dinner with your group at a local black pork restaurant to celebrate a trip well-travelled.

Welcome to the ultimate guide for planning your Korea trip package! Whether you’re a first-time traveler or a seasoned explorer, this guide will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your trip to Korea.

South Korea is a fascinating country known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning natural landscapes. From bustling cities to serene countryside, there is something for everyone in Korea. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of choosing the right Korea trip package, creating an itinerary, booking accommodations, getting around the country, exploring must-visit attractions, trying local cuisine, and budgeting for your trip. By the end of this guide, you’ll be well-equipped to plan a memorable and enjoyable trip to Korea.

So, let’s dive in and start planning your dream Korea trip package!

Choosing the Right Korea Trip Package

When it comes to planning your Korea trip, choosing the right package is crucial. With so many options available, it can be overwhelming to decide which one is best for you.

First, think about your interests and what you want to experience in Korea. Are you interested in exploring the vibrant city life of Seoul or the serene beauty of the countryside? Do you want to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture or indulge in the delicious local cuisine? Knowing your preferences will help narrow down the options.

Next, consider the duration of your trip. Some packages offer shorter stays, perfect for a quick getaway, while others provide a more extensive itinerary for those looking to explore multiple cities in depth. Determine how much time you have and choose a package that fits your schedule.

Budget is another important factor to consider. Different packages come with varying price tags, so it’s essential to set a budget and find a package that falls within your range. Remember to factor in additional expenses such as meals, transportation, and entrance fees to attractions.

Lastly, read reviews and testimonials from previous travelers. This will give you insights into the quality of the package and the level of customer satisfaction. Look for reputable tour operators or travel agencies that have positive feedback and a good track record.

By considering these factors and doing thorough research, you can choose the right Korea trip package that caters to your interests, fits your budget, and ensures an unforgettable experience in this beautiful country.

Creating an Itinerary

Creating an itinerary is an essential part of planning your Korea trip package. It allows you to maximize your time and ensure that you don’t miss out on any must-visit attractions.

Start by researching the top attractions and destinations in Korea. Consider visiting iconic landmarks such as Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, the beautiful beaches of Jeju Island, and the historic city of Gyeongju.

Next, determine the duration of your trip and prioritize the places you want to visit. Take into account travel time between destinations and allocate enough time to fully explore each location.

Consider adding a mix of cultural experiences, outdoor activities, and shopping opportunities to your itinerary. This will give you a well-rounded experience of Korean culture and ensure that there is something for everyone in your travel group.

Once you have a rough itinerary in mind, check if there are any special events or festivals happening during your visit. Incorporating these events into your itinerary can add an extra layer of excitement and cultural immersion to your trip.

Finally, be flexible with your itinerary. Leave room for spontaneous exploration and unexpected discoveries. Sometimes the best experiences happen when you deviate from the planned schedule.

Creating an itinerary can be overwhelming, but with careful research and consideration, you can design a Korea trip package that perfectly suits your interests and allows you to make the most of your time in this beautiful country.

Booking Accommodations

Once you have finalized your itinerary, the next step is to book accommodations for your Korea trip package. South Korea offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit every budget and preference. From luxurious hotels to cozy guesthouses, there is something for everyone.

When choosing accommodations, consider the location and accessibility to the attractions you plan to visit. If you want to explore Seoul, it’s best to find a hotel in the city center or near public transportation. For a more serene experience, look for accommodations in the countryside or by the beach.

To ensure a smooth booking process, it is recommended to use reputable travel websites or booking platforms. Expedia, for example, offers a variety of options and deals for South Korea accommodations. You can easily compare prices, read reviews, and book your preferred hotel or guesthouse in just a few clicks.

Additionally, consider the amenities and services provided by the accommodations. Some hotels offer complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, fitness centers, and swimming pools. If you have specific requirements or preferences, make sure to check the hotel’s website or contact them directly for more information.

Lastly, don’t forget to check the cancellation policy and any additional fees before making a reservation. It’s always a good idea to have a flexible booking in case your plans change.

By booking accommodations in advance, you can secure the best deals and ensure a comfortable stay during your Korea trip package. So, take your time, do some research, and choose the perfect accommodation that fits your needs and budget.

Getting Around Korea

Once you have arrived in Korea, it’s important to know how to get around the country. Fortunately, Korea has a well-developed transportation system that makes it easy to explore the country.

One of the most convenient ways to travel within Korea is by using the public transportation system. The subway and bus systems in major cities like Seoul are efficient, affordable, and easy to navigate. You can purchase a T-money card, which is a rechargeable transportation card that can be used on subways, buses, and taxis.

If you prefer a more comfortable and private mode of transportation, you can also consider renting a car. Renting a car gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace and visit off-the-beaten-path destinations. Just make sure to have an international driving permit and familiarize yourself with Korean traffic rules.

For longer distances, you can also take advantage of Korea’s high-speed rail system, known as the KTX. The KTX connects major cities in Korea and offers a fast and convenient way to travel between them. You can purchase tickets in advance or at the station, and there are different classes of seats available.

Lastly, don’t forget to download useful travel apps like KakaoMap and Naver Map, which provide real-time directions and information about public transportation routes. These apps can be a lifesaver when navigating the streets of Korea.

With various transportation options available, getting around Korea is a breeze. Whether you choose to use public transportation, rent a car, or take the high-speed rail, you’ll have no problem exploring all that Korea has to offer.

Exploring Must-Visit Attractions

South Korea is a country filled with breathtaking attractions that cater to every traveler’s interests. Whether you are a history buff, a nature lover, or a food enthusiast, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the top attractions in South Korea is the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), which is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. Take a private DMZ tour and explore the 3rd invasion Tunnel with a professional tour guide. It is an opportunity to learn about the history of the Korean War and the division between North and South Korea.

For nature lovers, a visit to the beautiful Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is a must. Located on the coast of Busan, this temple offers stunning views of the ocean and is known for its unique design and tranquil atmosphere.

If you are looking for a vibrant cultural experience, head to the Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan. This colorful village is filled with art installations, galleries, and charming cafes. It is a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture and take beautiful photos.

No trip to South Korea would be complete without exploring the bustling city of Seoul . Visit the famous Jagalchi Fish Market, where you can try fresh seafood and experience the lively atmosphere. Don’t miss out on exploring Myeongdong, Seoul’s shopping mecca, packed with stunning outlets, street stalls, and delicious street food.

These are just a few of the many must-visit attractions in South Korea. Whether you are interested in history, nature, or culture, you will find something that captivates your interest and makes your trip unforgettable.

Trying Local Cuisine

One of the highlights of any trip to Korea is trying the local cuisine. Korean food is known for its bold flavors and unique dishes, and there are plenty of opportunities to indulge in the country’s culinary delights.

One popular option is to join a food tour, where you can explore the vibrant street food scene and sample a variety of dishes. These tours often take you to local markets and hidden food stalls, allowing you to try authentic Korean street food like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), kimbap (rice rolls), and hotteok (sweet pancakes).

If you prefer a more immersive experience, you can also take a cooking class and learn how to make traditional Korean dishes yourself. These classes are a great way to not only taste the food but also learn about the ingredients and techniques used in Korean cooking. Some classes even include a visit to a local market to pick out fresh ingredients.

When exploring the local cuisine, don’t forget to try some of Korea’s most famous dishes. Bibimbap, a bowl of mixed rice topped with vegetables, meat, and a spicy sauce, is a must-try. Other popular dishes include bulgogi (marinated grilled beef), samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly), and jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles).

No trip to Korea is complete without indulging in some traditional Korean barbecue. Head to a local restaurant where you can grill your own meat at the table and enjoy it with an array of side dishes. It’s a delicious and interactive dining experience that you won’t want to miss.

Whether you choose to join a food tour, take a cooking class, or simply explore the local restaurants on your own, trying the local cuisine is a must-do during your Korea trip. It’s a chance to immerse yourself in the culture and flavors of the country, and create unforgettable food memories.

Budgeting for Your Trip

Budgeting for your Korea trip is an essential step in planning your adventure. It helps you determine how much you need to save and allocate for different expenses. Here are some tips to help you budget for your trip to Korea.

First, consider the duration of your trip. Are you planning a short weekend getaway or a longer vacation? The length of your stay will impact your overall budget. Next, think about your accommodation options. If you’re on a tight budget, consider staying in hostels or guesthouses instead of luxury hotels.

Another major expense to consider is transportation. Research the different options available, such as public transportation, taxis, or rental cars, and estimate the costs accordingly. Don’t forget to include any intercity travel or day trips in your budget as well.

Food is another important factor to consider. While street food and local restaurants can be affordable, dining at upscale establishments can quickly add up. Plan your meals and consider trying local cuisine to save money.

Lastly, don’t forget to include expenses for activities, attractions, and souvenirs in your budget. Research the entrance fees for popular tourist sites and plan accordingly. It’s also a good idea to set aside some extra money for unexpected expenses or emergencies.

By carefully planning and budgeting for your Korea trip, you can ensure that you have enough funds to enjoy your adventure without breaking the bank. Remember to prioritize your expenses and make adjustments as needed. With a well-planned budget, you can make the most of your trip to Korea.

In conclusion, planning a Korea trip package can be an exciting and rewarding experience. By choosing the right package, creating a well-thought-out itinerary, booking accommodations in advance, and budgeting wisely, you can ensure a memorable and enjoyable trip to Korea.

During your trip, make sure to explore the must-visit attractions in Korea, try the local cuisine, and immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of the country. Whether you’re visiting the bustling city of Seoul, the beautiful coastal areas, or the serene countryside, Korea offers a diverse range of experiences for every traveler.

Additionally, getting around Korea is relatively easy with its efficient public transportation system, including buses, trains, and subways. This allows you to explore various regions and attractions conveniently.

Lastly, don’t forget to budget for your trip and consider any additional expenses such as souvenirs, entertainment, and extra activities. By planning ahead and keeping track of your expenses, you can make the most of your budget and have a worry-free trip.

Overall, a Korea trip package provides a comprehensive and convenient way to explore all that this fascinating country has to offer. So start planning your trip today and get ready for an unforgettable adventure in Korea!

South Korea Tours, Trips & Vacation Packages

trip to korea package

Our South Korea Tours and Vacations

South Korea is a country which offers something for the culturally inclined, the shopper and the beach lover on Korean vacations.

Of course, there is more to the country than that. Ancient and modern exist here side by side and this is very apparent in Seoul , the 600-year-old capital. Apart from modern buildings, shopping precincts and contemporary architecture, there are many historical sites.

South Korea Travel Highlights

You can visit Changdeokgung, Seoul’s most beautiful ex-royal palace built in 1405 or Gyeongbokgung, another palace close by, built-in 1395 with attractive gardens, both just a stone’s throw away from the general hustle and bustle.

What you need to know about Seoul

The heart of the city is Insa-Dong, an old quarter with narrow alleys beckoning the visitor and in which one finds many art galleries, traditional teashops and restaurants. Dominating Seoul is Namsan Mountain which is located in the city itself and from the top, reached by cable car, are wonderful panoramic views of both the city and the surrounding area.

Bukchon Hanok in Seoul

The best shopping experience in South Korea

A must for shoppers on South Korean tours are Seoul’s open-air markets such as the renowned Namdaemun Market where one can purchase interesting merchandise at bargain prices.

The second stop in this country is usually Gyeongju , the ancient capital known as the Museum without Walls. It has more palaces, castles, temples and pagodas than anywhere else in Korea. It was once the capital of the Shilla Dynasty and dates back to the 7th Century.

Busan is an earthy city and a large port. Attractions here , apart from the port, are Yongdusan Park and Yongungsa Temple, also known as the Temple in the Mountains.

Our recommended ‘must-do’ experience

For relaxation and exciting scenery, a visit to Jeju Island on Korea vacations  is a must. Known as Korea’s answer to Hawaii, it has swaying palm trees, cactus plants, orange groves and more than a dozen sandy beaches. To top this off, the hinterland of the island boasts interesting volcanic landscapes.

Often referred to as the "Land of the Morning Calm", Korea is located at a major crossroad of Northeast Asia . What makes South Korea so exciting is it has become a country of endless possibilities. Booking one of our Korea tours today and see for yourself.

How to choose the best Korea tour package

By: Author Sylvia

Posted on Last updated: September 18, 2023

To find the best Korea tour package we analyzed several tours in detail.

We looked at several aspects such as the group size and the itinerary. We didn’t do any of these tours ourselves so we don’t share any personal experiences.

What we do is give you, at a glance, a handy overview of all the important aspects of these tours so that you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

We traveled  independently throughout the country.  We found some inspiration in these tours and created our own. We put a lot of time in preparing for this trip.

Creating your own trip gives you more freedom to explore the country at your own pace but if you don’t like to do your own planning, or if you simply don’t have the time, these tours are an excellent alternative.

All these tours roughly follow the same route that we did and will take you along many highlights of South Korea.

There are several different South Korea tour packages.  We covered the 4 that appealed most to us because of their good itinerary.  We give the pros and cons of each of the tours.

But let’s start this article by highlighting some points in favor of a Korea package tour.  Despite the fact that we like to travel independently, there are situations where it is more interesting to join an organized tour.

In the table below you can quickly compare the most important aspects of the different tours.

  • Since foreign credit and debit cards don’t always work, we advise you to bring some extra cash.
  • Don’t lose time upon arrival at the airport and order your  Korea travel sim  or  portable wifi device  in advance so that it’s ready and waiting for you at the airport when you arrive.
  • Last but not least, make sure you have  travel insurance.

Why taking a Korea package tour might be more interesting than going independent

Let’s start by summing up the pros and cons of taking a Korea holiday package.

Pros and cons of joining a Korea package tour
