WAIT FOR IT !!!........... LIL WAYNE cancelled just hours before the show (rolling my eyes) so needless to say happy we showed up at 9pm because instead of lil wayne the fans were entertained by music mashups of rock and rap (crappy mix ups by the way) and music by the backstreet boys or n sync not sure which boy band it was but i was super annoyed when i heard the near sold out crowd singing along of "i want it that way" really crappy song but all these idiots were singing along like it was 6th grade but on to the positive blink 182 put on a great set for a whole 60 minutes yep 1 hour started at 9:30 was done by 10:30 great set pyro, smoke, cool video stage set up NO TOM DELONGE some new guy not his fault he played great but it wasnt teb same he didnt really sound like TOM so it was like blink 182 karaoke for some of the songs and the short set time I mean shit lil wayne doesnt show these guys could have saved the day and played longer but in typical rock star fashion they charged full price for tickets delivered half of a show and a short set disapointed much ? YEAH I WAS hate to say it but I mean it wasnt a 20 dollar ticket here tickets were not cheap but the amount of entertainment vs the amount paid for the ticket was not EQUAL felt pretty ripped off as a whole save your money this go round NOT WORTH THE CASH plus we drove 4 hours to go to this show so a few hundred dollars later we got and hour of a headliner entertainment hell KISS are 70 years old and played for 2 and a half hours the tickets were pricey but hell they were showmen and lots of fire, pyro, smoke, fireworks, ect stunts elevating risers ect so you tell me if its worth it to go see 40 year old entitled punks vs 70 year old vets who are doing a cash grab no doubt but are still delivering an experirience

Show exceeded expectations and was THRILLED we didn't have to listen to Lil Wayne - bonus. Thanks to St. Louis for helping to move him on his way to the next venue. Loved hearing Enema of the State in its entirety. Wish they had included Always but the other added songs were great as well. I thought Matt sounded great and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of the songs from California and NINE. Sad no encore but had a total blast singing along and dancing. Super charged stage show and Travis' drum solo was amazing but never long enough for me! (I'm sure plenty long for him - what a work out!) Neck Deep also put on a great performance. They are a GREAT opening act for Bink. Thanks for the show - and long lasting memories.

Blink 182 has been my favorite band as a kid back in ‘96 when I first heard of them and will always be. I finally got to see them live for the first tine ever in 2016, 20 years later because they came close to my hometown in Greenville, SC. Then about 3 months later to my actual hometown in Charleston, SC. I was close to the middle up front and had the time of my life. I thank the whole band for making one person’s dream come true just to see you live. I’ve always wanted to meet Mark and Travis!! I was so like it’s cool when Mark tried to throw me a pick but it landed short and he apologized and he Ent on with the show. But my heart filled up with joy when, in my opinion, the greatest drummer in the whole universe, Travis Barker!!!!, acknowledged me when I gave him a thumbs up. Wish I could meet and talk to then!! A dream for a lifetime. Blink 182 you will always be number 1 to me and hold a special place in my heart as you do to millions of fans!! Love you all and can’t wait for the bext album!! Including Mark’s new band aka The Side Piece. Mark if you ever read this’ please don’t take offense to the comment. Blink 4 Life!! Peace...

Everything you need to know about Blink-182’s world stadium tour: Dates and where to buy tickets

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Hello there, Blink-182 have announced their biggest world tour yet – along with new music coming in 2022 – and this is no small thing.

The US band will return for a major tour that will see the reunion of Mark Hoppus , Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker for the first time in 10 years.

And we’ll certainly be at their show, watching, waiting and only commiserating that this tour didn’t happen sooner. And you can be there, too, as we’re sharing everything you need to know about how to get your hands on tickets as soon as they go live on Monday 17 October, and where to buy pre-sale tickets.

In the UK and Ireland, the band will visit venues across London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin throughout September and October 2023. The multi-platinum, award-winning group will also play their first-ever performances in Latin America, along with stops in North America, before coming over to Europe, Australia and New Zealand on this star-studded road trip starting in March 2023 and going through to February 2024.

The band will also drop their new single “Edging” this Friday (14 October), marking the first time in a decade that Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker have been in the studio together. You can pre-save it now on both Spotify and Apple Music.

Prior to the news, DeLonge hinted he might have rejoined Blink-182, sparking fan rumours that something was in the works. The co-frontman originally left the band in 2015, to spend more time with his family.

Delonge’s spot was filled by Matt Skiba in 2015. However, earlier this year, Skiba claimed he wasn’t sure if he was still part of the band.

“Your guess is as good as mine,” wrote Skiba, replying to a fan on Instagram, who was questioning why there was no “Blink content” on his profile. “Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time with Blink-182. We shall see…” he added.

How to get tickets to Blink-182’s UK tour

Tickets for the UK leg of Blink-182’s worldwide tour are available from Monday 17 October at 10am on Ticketmaster .

But, very lucky fans, O2 Priority members, and people already signed up in various Blink fan clubs may be able to get pre-sale tickets now.

Where to see Blink 182 on tour in 2023

2 September: Glasgow, OVO Hydro

4 September: Belfast, SSE Arena

5 September: Dublin, 3Arena

11-12 October: London, The O2

14 October: Birmingham, Utilita Arena

15 October: Manchester, AO Arena

Blink-182 Reunite for 2023 Tour: Concert Dates, Venues Plus New Single

Blink-182

Blink-182 formed in 1992, with the band skyrocketing to fame in the late 90s and early 2000s with hit songs like What's My Age Again? and All the Small Things.

The punk rock band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2005, with Hoppus and Barker starting the new band +44 and DeLonge forming the band Angels & Airwaves.

In 2009, the trio got back together and embarked on a reunion tour, and they also started recording music together again up until DeLonge's exit in 2015. Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba replaced DeLonge in the following years.

In June 2021, Hoppus announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer and that he was receiving treatment, and in September he confirmed he had been declared cancer free.

During their tour, the band will be supported by Wallows in Latin America, Turnstile in North America, Rise Against in Australia and New Zealand, and The Story So Far in the UK and Europe.

Blink-182 reunites with Tom DeLonge for a world tour. Is pop-punk back?

blink 182 world tour locations

Blink-182, the rock trio that rose to fame in the late 1990s by fusing pop and punk music for the mainstream, is getting back together for the first time in years and going on a world tour.

The group announced the tour and an upcoming album on Tuesday, ahead of the scheduled release of its new single, “ Edging ,” on streaming platforms this Friday. Tom DeLonge, one of Blink-182’s founding members, will rejoin Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker for the first time in seven years, after quitting the band for a second time in 2015 .

Blink-182, whose lyrics were rife with humor and teenage angst, sold more than 50 million albums with hits such as “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.” Its new tour — which runs from March 2023 through February 2024 — is yet another sign that rock and pop-punk is slowly returning to the mainstream.

For years, genres like electronic dance music, hip-hop and bedroom pop have hogged music charts. But artists such as Avril Lavigne, Machine Gun Kelly, Olivia Rodrigo, Willow Smith and Billie Eilish have all released songs in the past two years that venture into punk or rock.

“It makes perfect sense … that rock music is having a resurgence. And when you have a resurgence, there’s always the legends who were there and influenced it coming back around,” said Michael Kaminsky, founder and president of the artist management group KMGMT .

Blink-182 last released an album in 2019, but its members have remained in the public eye. Barker, the drummer, married Kourtney Kardashian earlier this year after courting her in front of cameras for the first season of the famous family’s Hulu show. He has also collaborated with younger stars such as Willow Smith and Machine Gun Kelly.

He “has always remained cool and hip, and does a lot of recording with a lot of up-and-coming groups,” said Bobby Borg, a musician and author. “I think that’s what kind of makes them able to do resurgence tours — they’re still respected and looked at as relevant.”

Hoppus, the band’s bassist and singer, also made headlines after he announced last year that he had been receiving treatment for cancer. DeLonge, a guitarist and singer, is well known for his theories on UFOs and aliens , publishing videos that were later declassified and released by the Pentagon.

Tom DeLonge defined pop-punk with Blink-182. He left stardom behind to study aliens.

Among the other signs of a pop-punk comeback is Las Vegas music festival When We Were Young, which is known for its 2000s emo lineup. Next year, performers will include headliners Blink-182 and Green Day, along with My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, the Offspring, Rise Against, Yellowcard, Sum 41 and Simple Plan.

“Blink-182 influenced a whole generation of music that came after them and set that foundation for punk rock,” said Sophie Reeves, an executive producer at creative studio Production Club . “I think there’s definitely a hope that this music will make a stronger comeback.”

“Plaid skirts, combat boots, ripped jeans, leather — you’re seeing that again, and I just chuckle,” Borg said.

Blink-182 Can’t Stop Touring: Band Details Summer 2024 Shows

By Jon Blistein

Jon Blistein

Blink-182 will keep the big reunion party going into next year, announcing another massive North American tour for summer 2024.

The run will kick off June 20 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, with dates scheduled through Aug. 15 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. Blink-182 will primarily play arenas during the run, though there will be a few special stadium gigs in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Toronto, and the band’s hometown of San Diego. Pierce the Veil will provide support throughout the tour, while Alexisonfire will join the bill just for the final gig in Toronto.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Full info is available on Blink-182’s website .

Along with the reunion tour, Blink-182 released a new album, One More Time , last Friday, Oct. 20. The LP marks the first from Hoppus, DeLonge, and Barker since 2011’s Neighborhoods . After DeLonge left the group in 2015, he was replaced by Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba, who appeared on two albums, 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine .

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe , Hoppus and DeLonge opened up about their acrimonious 2015 splits with both admitting they weren’t sure they’d ever play together again. That changed after Hoppus was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 — a traumatic but clarifying event not unlike the 2008 plane crash that nearly killed Barker.

After a massive slump during COVID , the concert industry is again sh-boom, sh-booming! The gross for the top 100 North American tours in 2023 reached $6.63 billion, up 39.5 percent over 2022, with attendance nearly doubling, to 15,008 per show, according to Pollstar.

And this year is shaping up to be another box office blowout. Despite the national outrage over price spikes for eggs, airfare and gas , music lovers seem immune to ticket shock. Ticket prices climbed 22 percent last year, to an average of $135.88, compared to $111.49 in 2022. And the trend is pointing skyward.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour and Beyonce’s “Renaissance World” tour ranked first and second last year, but boomer acts remain the tour circuit’s lucrative and reliable summer tentpole, delivering packed arenas and sheds year after year as fans flock to relish the oldies and rekindle the past.

Here are the acts to catch this sunny season.

Heart (April 20–May 24, Aug. 10–Nov. 22)

Sisters Ann Wilson, 73, and Nancy Wilson, 70, haven’t released an album since 2016’s Beautiful Broken , but they have decades of hits, including “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,” “These Dreams” and “Alone,” to draw from on their “Royal Flush” tour . Cheap Trick opens.

Kenny Chesney (April 20–Aug. 23)

After hitting arenas last year, country star Chesney, 56, has booked 18 stadiums for shows with openers including the Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker, his duet partner on chart-topper “When the Sun Goes Down.” All but one of the shows are on Saturdays.

Billy Joel (April 26–Nov. 9)

The Piano Man, 74, has scheduled only 13 dates , four of them at New York’s Madison Square Garden, so ticket stampedes are likely. Fans are curious to know if “Turn the Lights Back On,” Joel’s first single in 17 years, will be added to his hit-heavy repertoire.

The Rolling Stones (April 28–July 17)

Mick Jagger , 80, Keith Richards, 80, Ron Wood, 76, and company continue their global “Hackney Diamonds” tour , named after last year’s highly praised album , the group’s first batch of originals since 2005’s  A Bigger Bang . Expect  Diamonds  cuts and lots of hits.

Stevie Nicks (May 3–June 21)

Between Fleetwood Mac’s songbook and her own solo catalog, singer-songwriter Nicks, 75, has a huge well of material to draw from as she extends a tour that started in February. She’s been performing crowd favorites “Landslide,” “Dreams,” “Rhiannon” and “Edge of Seventeen” as well as Tom Petty hits in honor of her late friend.

George Strait (May 4–July 20, Dec. 7)

A touring juggernaut, honky-tonk country singer-songwriter Strait, 71, resumes the record-breaking stadium tour he kicked off in 2023. He’s joined by Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. The King of Country serves up “his own Eras tour, leading a well-curated, decades-spanning set of songs,” according to  Billboard .

Walking Tour: Kitai Gorod

Kitai Gorod, with its twisting and winding streets, is the oldest section of Moscow outside the Kremlin. The literal translation of Kitai Gorod is "Chinatown," but there has never been a Chinese settlement here. The origin of the word kitai is disputed; it may come from the Tatar word for fortress, but most likely it derives from the Russian word kita, in reference to the bundles of twigs that were used to reinforce the earthen wall that once surrounded the area.

Kitai Gorod begins where Red Square ends. Settlement of this area began in the 12th century, around the time that the fortified city of Moscow was founded on Borovitsky Hill (the site of the present-day Kremlin). By the 14th century Kitai Gorod was a thriving trade district, full of shops and markets. At that time it was surrounded by earthen ramparts, which were replaced in the 16th century by a fortified wall, remnants of which still remain. As Moscow grew, so did Kitai Gorod.

At the time of the Bolshevik Revolution it was the city's most important financial and commercial district, with major banks, warehouses, and trading companies concentrated here. These days the multitude of shops, restaurants, and banks demonstrates the area's reasserted role as an energized commercial center.

A good starting point for your tour is Nikolskaya ulitsa, which begins at the corner opposite the Historical Museum and runs along the north side of GUM. If you are coming from St. Basil's, walk away from St. Basil's toward the Historical Museum alongside GUM. If you are coming from outside of Red Square, get to Nikolskaya by way of Teatralnaya Ploshchad (Theater Square). If you are standing with your back to the Bolshoi on this square, walk straight ahead, cross the street, and enter one of the narrow passageways to the right or left of the Teatralnaya metro station (as you are facing it). Taking a right out of either passageway will bring you to Nikolskaya ulitsa. Go a short way farther to the right, to the cobblestone edge of Red Square, to begin your walk.

Nikolskaya ulitsa, which is named after the Kremlin's Nikolskaya Gate Tower, is one of the oldest streets in Moscow. At the corner with Red Square is the Kazansky Sobor . Leaving the church, take a left to make your way through the teeming crowds of shoppers on Nikolskaya ulitsa to No. 7, the Zaikonospassky Monastyr , the former Slavonic-Greco-Latin Academy now undergoing a slow restoration. Farther down the street, also on the left-hand side, is a once brightly painted white-and-aqua building with an elaborate facade (No. 15). The building was erected in 1810-14 on the site of the 16th-century Pechatny Dvor (Printing Yard), where Russia's first printed book was assembled in 1553. Today the building houses the Moscow Institute of Historical Records and the Moscow Humanitarian University. Cross the street to go down Bogoyavlensky pereulok. Halfway down the block, opposite the entrance to the Ploshchad Revolutsii metro, is the Bogoyavlensky Sobor . Continue down the street to where it intersects with ulitsa Ilinka. Before the 1917 revolution this was Moscow's Wall Street, and it is still lined with the impressive facades of former banks.

On the left-hand corner stands the former Ryabushinsky Bank . As you cross the street, look to your right; ulitsa Ilinka leads directly to the Kremlin's Tower of the Savior. At No. 3 stands the Tserkov Svyatoi Ilii church from which the street takes its name. The church, which dates to 1520, is in disrepair except for its facade. Opposite the church is one of the border streets of the Gostinny Dvor merchant's arcade. Turn left and walk the length of Khrustalny pereulok to reach one of the oldest streets in Moscow, Varvarka ulitsa. The opposite side of the street is lined with quaint old churches and buildings, but the first thing you'll likely notice is the gray bulk of the massive, concrete-and-glass Rossiya, one of Europe's largest and most unattractive hotels.

At the farthest corner of the street, to your right, is the Tserkov Velikomuchenitsy Varvary . Adjacent is the English Court . Next comes the white-stone Tserkov Maksima Blazhennovo . The pointed bell tower situated just before the semicircle sidewalk leading to the upper-level entrance of the Rossiya hotel was once attached to the redbrick Znamensky Sobor on the other side of the sidewalk; with its foundation on the slope below, it is set back from the street. At No. 10 is the Palaty Romanovych v Zaryadye , believed to be the birthplace of Tsar Mikhail Romanov. Before leaving Varvarka ulitsa take note of the last church, the blue Tserkov Georgiya na Pskovskoy Gorke at No. 12.

If you stand to the left of the church (on the walkway leading to the Rossiya hotel) you can glimpse a remnant of Kitai Gorod's 16th-century brick fortification wall. It is to your left, opposite the hotel's eastern facade. Cross to the other side of Varvarka ulitsa and walk a short hop past the final church. Make a right and climb up the narrow Ipatevsky pereulok, which leads to several government and administrative buildings. At the top of the incline to the right is one of Moscow's best-preserved 17th-century churches, the Tserkov Troitsy v Nikitnikach .

Continue down the lane to the right of the church to reach Novaya Ploshchad, or New Square, which is more like a boulevard than a square. To your right, at the far bottom of the hill, Slavyanskaya Ploshchad opens up. At the bottom of the hill is the redbrick Tserkov Vsekh Svyatykh na Kulishkakh . From Novaya Ploshchad stroll for a long block or two past the government buildings, where the Central Committee of the Communist Party once sat. Now these buildings house the Duma of the Moscow Region. Soon you will come to the beginning of a busy intersection. To your right, in the median strip that divides Novaya Ploshchad, is a park that holds the Plevna Memorial, an octagonal, towerlike monument commemorating the Russian soldiers who fell in the Battle of Plevna in the Russo-Turkish War (1878). Keep walking up the street on the left side to go to the Muzey Istorii Goroda Moskvy , a small museum on Moscow's history.

Note the building on the opposite side of the street that takes up the entire block. This is the Politekhnichesky Muzey , a museum of science and technology. Directly north of this museum is yet another museum, Muzey Mayakovskovo , which includes a re-creation of the study of the great revolutionary poet. A short distance from here, Novaya Ploshchad intersects with the circular Lubyanskaya Ploshchad , where you can behold the Lubyanka Prison and the former KGB headquarters, which now house the FSB -- the New Russia's federal security service. On the west side of the square is Detsky Mir, a large department store that used to specialize in toys but now carries all sorts of items.

Walk past Lubyanskaya Ploshchad to the west side, down to where it converges with the broad street of Teatralny proyezd, Moscow's most elite shopping street. On a side street to your right stands the ornate and luxurious Savoy hotel (3 Rozhdestvenka ulitsa), which, like the nearby Metropol hotel, was built in connection with the celebrations in the early 20th century honoring 300 years of the Romanov dynasty. On the left-hand side of the street you will pass a statue of Ivan Fyodorov, the printer who produced Russia's first book at the old Printing Yard on Nikolskaya ulitsa. The arched gateway just to the right of the statue links Teatralny proyezd with Nikolskaya ulitsa, the street on which you started the tour. Teatralny proyezd leads into Teatralnaya Ploshchad, site of three of Moscow's most important theaters.

Taking up the block on the southeast corner, the first building you will encounter to your left as you approach Teatralnaya Ploshchad is the Metropol , an art nouveau hotel. Reaching the square, you will see at the center a large monument to Karl Marx, carved on the spot from a 200-ton block of granite and unveiled in 1961. Across the boulevard stands the Bolshoi Theater , flanked on the left, on the corner farthest away from you, by the Central Children's Theater, and, to the right, by the Maly Theater . Turn left at the corner of the Metropol, and walk by the park and the hotel's main entrance. The large redbrick wall ahead is the other surviving remnant of the 16th-century fortification wall that once surrounded Kitai Gorod.

The wall has been heavily rebuilt, and a new tower has been added. Inside the tower are a couple of restaurants and bars. When you reach the Teatralnaya/Ploshchad Revolutsii metro station, take a moment to admire the exterior of the massive redbrick building on the corner -- the Muzey V. I. Lenina . If you still have some time but not much energy, consider hopping on Trolleybus 2, which can be caught at the bus stop opposite the Bolshoi Theater. The trolley ride takes about 45 minutes and makes a loop passing by Lubyanskaya Ploshchad, Ploshchad Pobedi (Victory Square -- note the obelisk topped by an angel), the Borodino Battle Panorama (in a circular blue pavilion), Kievsky vokzal (train station), the Novy Arbat, and Alexander Garden, before returning to Teatralnaya Ploshchad. You can purchase a ticket for 10R from the driver. Try to have exact change. Make sure to punch the ticket on board the bus.

Taken at a leisurely pace, with stops at least to glance at the interiors of the many churches along the route, this walk should take about five hours. If you intend to take a quick look at the exhibits in the museums along the way, you'll need an entire day. Both the Politekhnichesky Muzey and the Muzey Istorii Goroda Moskvy are worth coming back to for a more leisurely look at their holdings.
