Maluma is going the arena route yet again.

The popular urbano artist just announced his 29-concert ‘Don Juan Tour’ that will take him back to huge venues all over North America from August through November.

Along the way, the “Hawái” singer will slide into Long Island’s UBS Arena on Oct. 5, New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Oct. 6 and Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Oct. 8.

He can’t wait to hit the road either in advance of his upcoming “Don Juan” album.

“I am so excited to return to arenas around the U.S. this fall,” the 29-year-old shared in a statement. “I took a year off from touring to focus on perfecting what I feel is the best album of my career, ‘Don Juan.'”

“I can’t wait to perform the new songs from the album for my fans for the very first time alongside my greatest hits in what I consider to be my most ambitious concert production yet,” he added.

Maluma will be hitting arenas across the United States later this fall in support of his upcoming album “Don Juan.” The world tour will hit 30 cities starting with Sacramento, Calif. on August 31, and visit venues such as the Forum in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden in New York, and the Kaseya Center in Miami.

Produced by CMN (Cardenas Marketing Network), the Don Juan Tour is the singer’s sixth trip around the States. Pre-sale begins on May 25, at 10 a.m. local time and the general ticket sale begins on May 26, also at 10 a.m. local time, through http://www.cmnevents.com . Additional dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Maluma last toured the U.S. as part of his 2022 jaunt, “Papi Juancho Maluma World Tour,” which sold out across the U.S., Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The tour focused on songs off 2020’s “Papi Juancho” — his most recent full-length effort that gave way to the global hit “Hawái” — and fully embraced the alter ego, though he recently parted ways with the moniker on an Instagram pos t that also introduced “Don Juan.”

Maluma Promises ‘Most Ambitious Concert Production Yet’ on New Tour

Maluma is promising an “exhilarating experience” on his upcoming tour. On Monday, the Colombian star revealed that after a year of working on his Don Juan LP, he’s ready to hit the road on a world tour .

“I am so excited to return to arenas around the U.S. this fall. I took a year off from touring to focus on perfecting what I feel is the best album of my career, Don Juan ,” Maluma said in a press release. “I can’t wait to perform the new songs from the album for my fans for the very first time alongside my greatest hits in what I consider to be my most ambitious concert production yet.”

“I’ve waited to give my fans a music and concert experience unlike any other and I expect the Don Juan U.S. Tour to be an exhilarating experience that they’ll never forget!” he added.

Maluma last hit the road for his Papi Juancho tour in 2021 in support of the album, featuring songs like “ADMV, “Hawái,” and Parce,” which was released the year prior.

Maluma’s upcoming LP will follow the release of several collaborations and a solo single earlier this year, including “La Reina,” “ La Fórmula ” with Marc Anthony, and “Copas” with Jowell y Randy. He also worked with Anuel AA on “Diablo, Qué Chimba.”

Last August, he spoke to Rolling Stone about his musical influences as he worked on Don Juan . “My family, a lot. A lot, a lot. I feel like I’m coming back to my roots,” he said at the time. “When I went out from Medellín with my music around the world, I felt like I was losing a little bit of myself. Then I was doing some songs that, OK, maybe they were hits, but I didn’t feel like that was my essence.”

Set to kick off on August 31 in Sacramento, California, fans can catch the Colombian artist in areas like Los Angeles, New York City, Austin and Chicago before closing it out in Miami on November 4. Maluma is ready to get back on the road and perform for his fans across the U.S. this fall with his Don Juan World Tour . The Colombian superstar announced the North American leg of the trek on Monday (May 22) via social media.

The announcement for the tour was a cheeky video of Hugh Hefner, the late founder of Playboy Magazine, who shared the news of the “Felices Los 4” singer’s tour via a hilarious Spanish voice-over parody.

“I took a year off from touring to focus on perfecting what I feel is the best album of my career, Don Juan ,” said Maluma via press release. “I can’t wait to perform the new songs from the album for my fans for the very first time, alongside my greatest hits, in what I consider to be my most ambitious concert production yet.”

The tour, which shares a name with Maluma’s upcoming album, will kick off in Sacramento, CA, on Aug. 31. From there, the tour will visit prestigious arenas such as The Forum in Los Angeles (Sep. 9), Madison Square Garden in New York (Oct 6), and the Kaseya Center in Miami (Nov. 4). 

With the new tour, Maluma is set to extend his record as one of the highest-selling Latine artists for concerts globally. His “Maluma World Tour” sold over one million tickets across 105 worldwide concerts in 2017 alone. As his star continued to rise, the Colombian singer continued to prove he had one of the hottest tickets with sold-out shows across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, with concerts he held between 2021 and 2022.

Pre-sale tickets for Maluma’s Don Juan World Tour will go on sale beginning Thursday, May 25, at 10 a.m. local time. The general ticket sale will begin on Friday, May 26, at 10 a.m. local time via cmnevents.com .

Maluma Adds North American Leg to Don Juan Tour Dates 

Maluma, the Colombian reggaeton star, announced the addition of a North American leg of shows to his Don Juan tour dates on Monday. The Don Juan World Tour will bring Maluma to European venues through June and into July, will head to North America for dates that run from late August into early November.

Tickets for Maluma’s Don Juan North American leg of tour dates are on sale this week, onsale to the general public beginning on Friday, May 26. Prior to that, there are presale options through venue, artist, and other groups with access to the promoter’s allocations – check individual show pages for specifics on when and what presales will be open for Maluma tickets.

Maluma’s North American dates are scheduled to begin with an August 31 peformance at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California and continue until a November 4 closer at Miami’s Kaseya Center. Shows are also scheduled for Los Angeles (Kia Center), San Antonio (AT&T Center), New York (Madison Square Garden and USB Arena), Chicago (Allstate Arena) and Atlanta (State Farm Arena).

The superstar says he’ll perform not only songs off his latest album “Papi Juancho” but also so many of the greatest hits, including “Hawai”; “Felices Los Cuatro”; “Sobrio” as well as his latest release, “Diablo, que Chimba”.

The doors to the venue opened a little late... The concert started a little bit late too, around 9:10pm, plus he didnt sing all the most popular songs from his latest album! He didn't even approached the people on the front to take pictures with them and didn't called any one to the stage!!! I have been to different concerts, like Gente de Zona, Chino y Nacho, and they actually came to the front, very close, to take pictures with the people that bought the expensive tickets to go and see them!!!! It was ok but not perfect! The venue was really small too... for a concert like this they should use a bigger place!

OMG! The Maluma concert was epic. He put on an amazing show and sang all of hiss popular songs. He gave it his ALL. Just when you thought it was over and people started screaming for more, he came out and sang 3 more songs and the finale was...no words! He kept reprising the last song and dancing when he HAD to be tired.

A phenomenal show. Performance was great. The audio sounded excellent. This Parcero puts on one helluva show. This is the 2nd time we see him live and this show was way better than the first. Don't get me wrong. Last years concert was also bad ass bit this year was rediculous. Let's do it again next year.

The concert was great, the only thing that I did not like was that it started 45 minutes late. Overall the experience was awesome. What I liked the best is that he pulled a person from the audience and she got to be on stage with him, for that I him 2 thumbs up.

Maluma is a real character. His ridiculous bravado had me grinning the entire show. He did very well to keep the crowd pumped up for his almost 2 hour set.

The stadium was filled with latinas and only a few men but I didn't feel out of place. I loove Maluma.

I loved and enjoyed the show very very much. His performance was amazing and outstanding. I love the fact that maluma was my very first concert I went to. I've been admiring him for a long time, I'm a big fan of him and his work as an artist.

My second Maluma concert and loved it. Maluma is a great performer and has some amazing dancers in his team. My friend even got the chance to go on stage which made the concert somewhat interesting. I look forward to seeing Maluma again.

MIAMI, FL (May 22, 2023). Following the wildly successful "Papi Juancho Maluma World Tour 2022"; which boasted sold-out shows across the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, global Latin music idol, Maluma, is proud to announce the U.S. leg of his Don Juan World Tour, which features a stop at the award-winning State Farm Arean in Atlanta on Sunday, Oct. 22.

The artist made the tour announcement via social media with a funny video that pays homage to his "Don Juan" alter ego. 

Promising a groundbreaking experience for his devoted fans, Maluma is set to embark on a 30-city tour throughout the United States. The tour kicks off on August 31st in Sacramento, California, and includes venues such as The Forum in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden in New York, and the Kaseya Center in Miami. The superstar will bring his signature "Don Juan" to life on the concert stage while singing many of the songs off the album of the same name as well as all of his greatest hits that have made him a global Latin music icon, such as "Hawai"; "Felices Los Cuatro"; "Sobrio" as well as his latest release, "Diablo, que Chimba".

Shakira first hinted at the tour during her appearance on  The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon  last month. On Friday, the global superstar surprised fans at Coachella when she appeared during Bizarrap’s set to perform their global smash hit “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “La Fuerte,” both featured on her new album. Before exiting the stage, Shakira teased the tour news to a roaring crowd. 

Coachella marks the second time in the last month that Shakira has surprised fans with a showstopping performance. Last month, following the album release, Shakira shut down New York City’s Times Square giving a crowd of 40,000+ fans a peek into the energy of her live shows when she performed at the TSX Stage. The performance included her iconic hits like “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Te Felicito/TQG,” and “Session 53,” as well as “Puntería” and “Cómo Dónde y Cuándo” from her new album. 

The tour is in support of her new album,  Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran ,  which in 24 hours of its release became the most streamed album of the year with over 10 billion, and was certified 7x platinum. Megadeth announced the dates for a 33-show U.S. fall tour on Tuesday (April 23). The Live Nation-produced Destroy All Enemies outing will feature support from Mudvayne and All That Remains and is slated to kick off on August 2 at the Walmart AMP in Rogers, AR.

Jeezy Responds to Abuse Allegations Made by Estranged Wife Jeannie Mai: ‘Deeply Disturbing’

The two-month run will include shows in Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Charlotte, Boston, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Minneapolis, before winding down on Sept. 28 with a gig at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tickets for all the dates will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time on Friday (April 26), with a presale for Cyber Army/Megadeth Digital members kicking off today at noon local time here .

According to a release, the outing will feature Mustaine and company playing classics from their beloved albums Rust in Peace , Countdown to Extinction and others, including their most recent studio LP, The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!

The 2024 Latin American Music Awards brought the heat to Las Vegas!

Hosted by Becky G , Thalía , Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce, the award show aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 25.

Over 30 performers took the stage including Feid and Peso Pluma , who each scored 12 award nominations.

The night also had special honorees like Banda MS and Ricardo Montaner, who received the Latin AMA Legacy Award, and Yandel, who was recognized with the Latin AMA Pioneer Award.

The First 2 Voice Playoff Mentors Have Been Announced, and They're Mega-Stars

It’s a double dose of star power as two big names join forces with Dan + Shay and John Legend.

You know things are getting serious on The Voice when the show’s already-famous Coaches dial up even more star power to give their teams a well-timed Playoffs lift. Team Legend is set to welcome Latin Grammy-winning superstar Maluma as its Season 25 Playoff Mentor, while Grammy-nominated hip-hop star Saweetie will do the Playoff Mentor honors for Team Dan + Shay. Maluma: Team Legend’s new Playoff Mentor on The Voice

Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma has been on the music scene since the early 2010s, but it was his 2015 album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy that really put his versatile brand of reggaeton-infused urban pop on the map. Through six studio albums and a host of high-profile celebrity collaborations (including crossover team-ups with Madonna, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and The Weekend), he’s climbed to the top of the Latin music charts while breaking crossover barriers that’ve even put his voice on the big screen (as a character in 2021’s hit animated movie Encanto ).

The Backseat Lovers have announced 2023 North American tour dates. The four-piece will return stateside after participating in Australia and New Zealand’s Laneway Festival as well as an extensive tour of Europe and the U.K. in the first quarter of the year.

Kicking off April 18 at Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre, the band continue to play significantly larger rooms with each new tour. Announcing multiple nights at Portland’s Roseland Ballroom, other stops include LA’s Hollywood Palladium on April 26, Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on May 25, and more. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 18 at 10AM local time.

The band is currently on a sold out fall tour where the band has been performing the new album live, in its entirety. They will end their run with two shows in the band’s hometown of Salt Lake City.

Nirvana’s ‘Dumb’ Video Nominated For Webby Award

On October 28, The Backseat Lovers released their new album Waiting To Spill (Capitol Records). The album made a big splash on the charts, coming in at No.1 Alternative New Artist Albums, No.2 Heatseekers Albums, No.4 Current Alternative Albums, No.6 Current Rock Albums, and more.

Prior to the release of the full project, the band shared early singles, “Slowing Down,” “Close Your Eyes,” and “Growing/Dying.” The album was released in digital, 180g vinyl, cassette, and CD formats. In addition to the standard black vinyl, there is a dark green vinyl edition, available only from the band’s online store, and a clear vinyl version, which can be found exclusively at indie retailers. On the new record, the band explain, “ Waiting to Spill has been one of the most important things we’ve been a part of both as people and musicians.”

Waiting to Spill is the follow-up to the group’s acclaimed 2019 debut, When We Were Friends , which racked up over 340 million global streams and featured the top 20 Alternative hit “Kilby Girl.”

The Backseat Lovers Announce 2023 North American Tour Extension

The Backseat Lovers  have announced an extension of their  2023 North American Tour . With a near sell-out of the band’s already announced North American Spring and Summer tour, the four-piece will expand their run to cover additional markets including stops at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on June 6th, Stage AE in Pittsburgh on July 26th, Thompson Point in Portland, Maine on August 2nd and more. They return stateside after participating in Australia and New Zealand’s Laneway Festival as well as an extensive tour of Europe and the U.K. in the first quarter of the year. The tour kicks off April 18th at Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre.

The band continue to play significantly larger rooms with each new tour racking up over 70,000 tickets sold already on this year’s tour. They’ll perform multi-night residencies at Portland’s Roseland Ballroom, Oakland’s Fox Theatre and Toronto’s History. Other highlights include LA’s Hollywood Palladium on April 26th, Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on May 25th, and more. They’ll return to Newport Folk Festival on July 29th. The Backseat Lovers Announce 2023 Tour Dates

In support of their October album, Waiting to Spill

The Backseat Lovers are in the midst of a fall tour right now, but if you weren’t able to snag tickets to those sold out shows, you’re in luck: The band have just announced another run of tour dates for 2023.

The Backseat Lovers’ 2023 North American tour kicks off April 18th in Vancouver and marks a noticeable step up for the Salt Lake City rockers. On their current run, the band is slated to play venues like Austin’s Stubb’s Amphitheater and Los Angeles’ The Wiltern, while next year, they’ll play Austin’s Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Greenway and LA’s Hollywood Palladium — rooms with double the capacity. Other shows include two nights at Portland’s Roseland Theater and a gig at The Anthem in Washington, D.C.

General on-sale to The Backseat Lovers’ 2023 tourbegins Friday, November 18th at 10:00 a.m. local time, and pre-sale begins Wednesday November 16th (use code HEADLINER ) via Ticketmaster . Before their North American leg begins in April, the band will tour Australia and Europe from January to March. See their full tour itinerary below.

On October 28th, The Backseat Lovers released their new album Waiting To Spill (Capitol Records). The album made a big splash on the charts, coming in at #1 Alternative New Artist Albums, #2 Heatseekers Albums, #4 Current Alternative Albums, #6 Current Rock Albums. #9 Vinyl Albums, #9 Internet Albums, #18 Current Album Sales, #21 Billboard Album Sales and #24 Billboard Top Alternative Albums.

The Backseat Lovers recently made their network television debut on CBS Mornings, performing "Slowing Down,""Know your Name" and "Growing/Dying." They will make their late night TV debut on November 17th on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Tune in at 11:35p/10:35p CT on ABC.

Prior to the release of the full project, the band shared early singles, "Slowing Down," "Close Your Eyes" and "Growing/Dying." The album is released in digital, 180g vinyl, cassette, and CD formats. In addition to the standard black vinyl, there is a dark green vinyl edition, available only from the band's online store, and a clear vinyl version, which can be found exclusively at indie retailers. On the new record, the band explain, "Waiting to Spill has been one of the most important things we've been a part of both as people and musicians."

Waiting to Spill is the follow-up to the group's acclaimed 2019 debut, When We Were Friends, which racked up over 340 million global streams and featured the top 20 Alternative hit "Kilby Girl."

Joshua Harmon, Jonas Swanson, KJ Ward & Juice Welch - who comprise The Backseat Lovers - met while in high school and finished up their first EP, Elevator Days, just before graduation.

They've since amassed over 370 million combined global streams across their songs and sold over 55,000 tickets in just over a year, graduating to larger venues with each outing. Their electrifying live shows have garnered them a significant fan base, already selling out tours across the US and performing to huge crowds at festivals such as Lollapalooza, ACL, Outside Lands, Shaky Knees, Newport Folk Festival and many more.
