Hvis du har lyst på noe søtt og godt i dag, men egentlig ikke orker å bake, er denne populære Sarafikaken PERFEKT !

Kaken lages på noen minutter og består av knuste Safarikjeks (digg kjeks med sjokoladebiter), en deilig ostekrem og masse friske bær. Jeg pynter kaken med melisdryss og knuste pikekyss.

Safarikake er vel snarere en dessert enn en tradisjonell kake; den skal ikke stekes og lages i en bred dessertskål, dyp ildfast form eller lignende. Man kan også bruke porsjonsglass.

Ingredienser:

Bunn: ♥ 400 g Safarikjeks (2 pk)

Ostekrem: ♥ 200 g kremost ♥ 200 g melis ♥ 2 ts vaniljesukker ♥ 3 dl kremfløte

Bær: masse friske bær, f. eks.: ♥ 400 g jordbær ♥ 200 g blåbær ♥ 250 g bringebær

Pynt: ♥ melisdryss ♥ ca. 10 hvite pikekyss

Fremgangsmåte:

Finn frem ingrediensene og en egnet serveringsskål eller form.

Grovhakk Safarikjeksen og ha kjeksbitene nederst i skålen.

Pisk sammen kremost, melis og vaniljesukker. I en annen bolle piskes kremfløten til krem. Vend den piskede fløtekremen inn i ostekremen. Ha den ferdigblandede ostekremen over kjeksbitene.

Glatt til overflaten slik at kjeksen blir godt dekket med ostekrem.

Dekk med masse friske bær.

Dryss over melis og noen knuste og noen hele pikekyss før servering.

♥ Safarikjeks (fra Sætre kjeks) er supergode kjeks med sjokoladebiter som fås kjøpt i de fleste matbutikkene. Du kan gjerne variere kaken ved å bruke andre typer kjeks.

♥ Jeg har brukt ferdigkjøpte pikekyss denne gangen, men hjemmelagde Pikekyss som du også finner oppskrift på her på Det søte liv, kan selvfølgelig også brukes.

♥ Safarikaken bør spises samme dagen den er laget så bærene er helt ferske, men jeg liker å la den stå i kjøleskapet i et par timer før servering for da mykner kjeksen litt av ostekremen. Vil du ha helt sprø kjeks, bør du servere Safarikaken helt nylaget.

Video shows deer after crashing through Victoria salon's window

VICTORIA, Minn. —  A salon in the west metro is open again after two deer came charging through the window on Wednesday morning.

The owner of Salon SPAtoria in Victoria says around 11:30 a.m., three deer came running across the parking lot and went straight through the storefront window.

"It's so Minnesotan of me to say oh look a deer. I said, 'Robyn, there's a deer.' Three of them. And they're coming into the parking. And I was like they're not slowing down," said Whitney Hart, the owner of Salon SPAtoria. 

Only two of the deer entered through the window before exiting out the back door of the salon, leaving behind an "immense amount of damage," the salon says.

"As soon as they came into the room they left," said Hart "They proceeded to come here, jump over the shampoo bowls into this area where they were slipping and sliding and jumping up against the glass windows."

Brooke Paradise, a masseuse was with a client in the next room.  

"From my perspective you would've thought a car came through. My wall shook, my table was wobbly," said Paradise. 

The staff says the deer actually went to the bathroom after crashing through window and checking out the shampoo bowls. Not to do its business but they were following the light. 

Part of the incident was  captured on video .

A cleaning crew is worked overnight into Thursday and reopened for business later that day.
