They grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends. Pindar produces 70,000 cases of wine a year, making them the largest vineyard on Long Island! But at heart, they are still a family business with a personal touch in every aspect of the process. Pindar also puts an emphasis on striving to create more impactful wines with less impact on the environment.

Long Island Spirits

A great vineyard alternative to add some diversity to your tour! Long Island Spirits was established in 2007 as the first distillery on Long Island since the 1800's and became the 100th Distillery in the United States of America. Surrounded by centuries old of potato, corn and rye farms, the distillery is located on the bucolic North Fork of Long Island, in the heart of the acclaimed wine region. Long Island Spirits is proud of its sustainable distillery practices and the innovative fermenting, distilling and blending techniques it has pioneered.

Jason's Vineyard

Jason’s Vineyard was planted in 1996 using only the finest clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Jason's Vineyard also purchases the grape varietals of Sauvignon Blanc, Seyvel Blanc, Cayuga and Riesling. Jason's pioneered the dense spacing of vines on the North Fork. This technique, not seen prior to Jason's Vineyard, is more closely planted than many other local vineyards. The six feet between rows and three feet between adjacent vines are Bordeaux measurements. A lovely and relaxing vineyard destination.

Hawk Ridge Winery (CT)

One of our popular non-Long Island destinations. Hawk Ridge Winery, part of Hidden Breeze Farm, is located in Watertown, Connecticut, a peaceful farm setting, in which to enjoy friends, family, and fantastic wine. Hidden Breeze Farm has been in existence since January, 2012. They decided to name our winery after the abundance of red tail hawks on the property. Hawk Ridge is dog friendly on the lawn and in the tent area. You may bring your own food it just can’t be serving style/in serving trays/or from an outside caterer. Ideal destination for tours leaving from New Jersey.

Jamesport Vineyards

Jamesport Vineyards is a father-son collaboration that began in 1986 making it one of the North Fork’s oldest vineyards. The tasting room has increased to accommodate an ever growing number of visitors. The great lawn out back provides the perfect setting for the Jamesport weekends where people gather to enjoy great wine, light fare and summer jazz concerts. Other event spaces throughout the property provide the perfect setting for weddings, private parties and small gatherings. A fun and lively vineyard destination!

How To Visit Long Island Wine Country (And Have An Amazing Time!)

This post contains affiliate links to trusted partners. If you purchase through these links, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you!

I’m originally from Long Island and have meant to do a blog post on the Long Island wineries and North Fork Wine Trail for a while now.

Luckily, my best friend Amanda’s recent bachelorette party provided the perfect opportunity.

Even before I was 21, the Long Island wineries were regular excursion for me, as along with 50+ wineries (most on the North Fork Wine Trail, a few elsewhere) there are pie shops (don’t miss Briermere Farms !), fruit stands, antique stores and acres of crop fields, tractors, and whimsical farmland.

The scenery is gorgeous, to say the least, and if you’re staying in NYC it’s a great way to enjoy a slower-paced piece of New York.

Ready to take a day trip to Long Island wine country?

Keep reading for a detailed itinerary.

Psst, don’t forget to pin this post for later!

You’ll get a nice overview of what exactly makes Long Island wine country so special. You truly can’t visit Long Island without spending time here.

Long Island Wine Country Grape Varietals

Since Long Island’s modern wine culture began in the 1970s, varietals like chardonnay, cabernet franc and merlot have grown plentiful thanks to the region’s maritime climate, glacial soils, and moderate rainfall during growing seasons.

That being said, several winemakers are getting experimental with other varietals, as well. For instance, Channing Daughters Winery offers a uniquely extensive grape portfolio that includes:

  • White grapes: Chardonnay, pinot grigio, tocai friulano, sauvignon blanc, muscat ottonel, malvasia, gewurztraminer, ribolla gialla, and pinot bianco.
  • Red grapes: Merlot, blaufränkisch, dornfelder, syrah, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, teroldego, refosco, and lagrein.

They are the only Long Island winery using many of these grapes, though this is just one example of innovation in the North Fork Wine Region, a true highlight of any New York visitors guide .

Best Time To Visit The Long Island Wineries

While many wineries, particularly the large ones like Pindar, are open year-round, for the full experience you’ll want to go when the weather is warm and there are outdoor events going on.

Late spring through November is a good timeframe, though if there is a certain event you want to attend it’s best to plan around the winery calendars.

Feeling adventurous?

You can pair your trip to wine country with exploring some of the best hiking trails on Long Island, NY .

Winery Bachelorette Party On Long Island: Getting Around

Because it was a bachelorette party we did it in a more luxurious fashion than I typically would.

We rented a limo from  LIVinoTours.com  for $1,127 for eight people including lunch, transportation with door-to-door pickup/dropoff, four tastings at each of three Long Island wineries, and tax and tip.

It was absolutely fantastic if you’re okay splurging — although if you have six-to-eight people it’s not too bad — especially since you can drink in the limo.

Pat, our driver, even strayed from the original plan when we decided we wanted to stop at four instead of three wineries.

Not all wineries allow limos, so check this before planning your itinerary. You can also ask your limo driver to drop you out front and not park on the property.

More Ways To Explore The Wine Trail On Long Island

For an additional private winery tour option that includes a lot, click here .

Moreover, if you’re on a budget you can drive yourself, though this is not recommended unless you somehow have a friend who truly just likes to see wineries and not imbibe (you want to be able to drink, after all).

My top suggestion:

Book a public tour, like a 10-hour Long Island Wine Tour from Manhattan , which is less expensive than a private tour and also includes lunch, tastings at three wineries and transport to/from Manhattan.

Making Appointments In LI Wine Country

You typically do not need an appointment to visit the Long Island wineries unless you are in a limo.

If you do reserve a limo they will likely organize your reservations for you.

Day Trip To The Long Island Wineries: Getting There

To visit the Long Island wineries from Manhattan you can take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR).

Grab the LIRR to the wineries from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma and then transfer for the train to Mattituck.

Just be sure to check the schedule , as the train to Mattituck only runs a few times per day.

You can also take the Hampton Jitney on the North Fork Line, with the best stops to get off being Mattituck, Cutchogue, and Peconic.

The wineries are close together, so you can technically walk from one to the other, although better options would be to take a taxi, bike or car.

Your best bet, however, is booking a tour as it will allow you to have a designated driver. A few Long Island wine tasting excursions include:

  • 🍷 Private Winery Tour from Long Island
  • 🍾 Private Hamptons & Long Island Wineries Tour from Manhattan
  • 🍇 Long Island Wine Tour with Tastings from NYC
  • 🥂 Hamptons, Sag Harbor & Outlet Shopping Day Trip with Wine Tasting from NYC
  • 🍻 Full Day Long Island Breweries Tour from Manhattan (if you prefer beer)

Long Island Vineyard Dress Code

If you’re the type of person who loves wearing floral maxi dresses and giant floppy hats like this one  the Long Island wineries offer a great opportunity for that, though I stuck to my normal high-waisted jeans and crop top look.

I’ve gone with friends before who have worn plain jeans and tees, too.

There’s no strict dress code, but the atmosphere definitely calls for some fun, whimsical outdoor dress, bright colors, and big shades if you’re that type of person.

long island wine tours from manhattan

Long Island Wine Country Passport + Tasting Fees

Our limo price included tastings, but if you’re doing a pay-per-tasting itinerary expect to pay around $10-$20 per five-tasting flight depending on where you go.

It’s also easy to find bottles for $25 or less though, again, some wineries are pricier than others.

Sign up for the free Long Island Wine Country Passport , which gets you a complimentary tasting when you buy any in-house tasting.

To learn more about the passport call 631-722-2220 or email  [email protected] .

Make sure to verify the dates the passport is good for, as well.

While many wineries offer food, I like to bring my own homemade picnic basket to ward off drunkenness and save money.

Cheese, meats, fresh fruit, crudite, chips, and crackers are all great suggestions, as is something more substantial like a sandwich.

You can typically bring a cooler into the vines with you, or an uber-cute picnic basket like this one .

Long Island Wineries That Allow Outside Food

Speaking of outside food, here is a quick list of some Long Island wineries that allow outside food:

  • Osprey’s Dominion
  • Pellegrini Vineyards
  • Sherwood House Vineyards
  • Jason’s Vineyard
  • Pugliese Vineyards
  • The Old Field Vineyards
  • One Woman Winery
  • Bridge Lane Tasting Room
  • McCall Wines (Mondays-Thursdays only)
  • Laurel Lakes Vineyards (Mondays-Fridays only)

Wineries often change their rules, so I suggest calling to confirm that you can bring outside food once you choose the winery you want to visit.

Long Island Wine Country Events

In spring, summer, and fall there are often events going on at different wineries, like live music and food pairings.

Check the Long Island Wines website to see what’s going on when you’re in town.

Wineries Near NYC By Train

If you’re looking for wineries that are walkable right from the train, I suggest choosing a few in Mattituck, which you can reach via Long Island Railroad (LIRR).

Here are some of the vineyards near NYC by train:

  • Macari Vineyards
  • Rose Hill Vineyards & Inn
  • Scarola Vineyards

And there you go; a perfect Long Island wine train trip from NYC planned for you right there.

A North Fork Bachelorette Party: Top Winery Picks

Now for the important part: Where to go!

Every winery has its own offerings and vibe, so it’s definitely not monotonous.

For a diverse itinerary that includes party vineyards on Long Island as well as more chill options, I recommend:

long island wineries

1. Lenz Winery

This spot does something unique that’s not common on Long Island, a gewürztraminer (typically a spicy German grape) done in a drier French style.

There are picnic tables and (sometimes) food trucks outside and opportunities for beautiful photos in the vines.

There’s also a tunnel outside where you can take fun silhouette shots with backlighting.

See below for my  Fosse -inspired photo!

A photo posted by Jessie on a Journey (@jessieonajourney) on Apr 25, 2016 at 4:52am PDT

2. Harbes Farm

Harbes Farm has many attractions on site: pumpkin picking, hayrides, pony rides, apple picking, a farm market, a homey bakery, corn mazes, gem mining and, of course, wine tasting.

This is a fun spot for families, though I’ve gone here with friends and dates and love doing the tastings inside a rustic barn.

3.   Sparkling Pointe

If you’re looking for the best Long Island wineries for a bachelorette party, this one should definitely be on your list.

This is where I go to pretend I’m the type of person who likes to bathe in money.

Just kidding.

Well, sort of.

Their prices are actually reasonable — prices start at about $29 per bottle — though the experience of sipping bubbly on leather couches literally within the vines feels luxurious.

4. Coffee Pot Cellars

This tiny quiet winery is where Amanda got engaged.

The owner/wife is a beekeeper and the owner/husband is the winemaker (he also makes wine nearby at Osprey’s Dominion), so you can purchase all-natural beeswax products and learn about the mason bee.

When you do a tasting you’ll get a cork to write something on — or put your “vibe” on — as they say.

The cork gets put onto the 18 foot long, 7-foot tall Winosaurous cork dinosaur outside.

Amanda’s fiancé Mike actually proposed to her by writing “Will you marry me?” on a cork from a bottle of wine they’d sipped on a prior visit.

My friends and I shared a $19.99 bottle of stainless steel fermented sauvignon blanc that was budget-friendly and delicious with notes of honeydew and lemon zest.

5. Bedell Cellars

This is one of the pricier vineyards — their flights are 5 wine tastings for $20; however, I love their reds and feel they produce a higher quality than some of the other producers.

There’s also more of a polished, modern feel than some of the other more rustic wineries. I usually don’t like merlot, but theirs is heavenly with notes of blueberries, spice, and earth.

Bedell’s 2009 Merlot was served at the Presidential Inauguration!

6. Osprey’s Dominion

This is a great stop for those who love being active when they drink with lawn games like corn hole, volleyball, bocce, and can jam abounding.

There’s a definite “American Pride” theme with lots of American flags, a wooden stage with live local music and an American flag backdrop, picnic tables, and a Chill & Grill zone where you can grill your own meats and veggies.

Make sure you try their unique and slightly spicy carménère with tastings ranging from $8 for 3 wines to a 5-tasting Reserve Flight for $15.

7. Baiting Hollow

This stop gets pretty packed on weekends (see video below), but it’s really fun with live music and artisan vendors selling their wares.

There’s a very social atmosphere, and their merlot rose is stellar, especially at only $23.99 per bottle.

Basic tastings range from $4 for one to $16 for six.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rose Hill Vineyards & Inn (@rosehillvineyards)

8. Rose Hill Vineyards & Inn (formerly Shinn Estate)

These guys were the first on Long Island to hold a farming distilling license, and you’ll be able to taste wines AND spirits made using biodynamic methods.

They also have an Inn if you’d like to stay overnight.

They do a really nice cabernet franc, a grape Long Island is known for, with red cherry and spice essences.

Their small-batch grappa is also a must!

While you hope everything runs smoothly, sometimes travel just doesn’t go according to plan.

This is why I recommend always purchasing travel insurance. The scary truth is it only takes one bad accident to lose everything — or be thankful you were covered.

Personally, I use SafetyWing, as they’ve got a large network, offer both short-term and long-term coverage (including limited coverage in your home country), are budget-friendly, and offer $250,000 worth of coverage with just one low overall deductible of $250.

Great post. Thanks for the details. This looks really fun. Love how they turn corks into art. I’ll check it out.

Love your article! We go almost every year to the Food and Wine Festival. We’ve done Wine tasting and food demonstrations. Wouldn’t miss it and the food delicious!

Long Island Wine Country is one of the most amazing places that you can visit right now. This place has a lot of cool places that you can go to, and have a good time there. I know about this because I’ve been there.

Had a terrible experience at Macari Vineyards this pat Saturday. To keep this short, if you show up with more than ten people they say it policy that you have a private cellar room at $65.00 pp. Well there was no rice on there board as you entered and it didn’t even matter that you are a club member. After checking the web site it was buried and it was listed at $30.00 not the $65.00 when told at the front door. This was a gathering post my daughters wedding the night before so membership cancelled went and spent our good money elsewhere. Be careful you don’t get fleeced by snooty people

@Chris: I’m sorry you had that experience. My big tip would be to make reservations when you go with a group. That’s why I usually do so that the vineyard is also ready for us. That’s also why I prefer doing a tour/driver, as they typically set everything up for you.

Great article, however the Long Island Wine Country passport program has been discontinued.

Brotherly love: Doctor donates kidney to his little sister

Localish logo

COMMACK, New York -- An 11-year-old girl from Long Island born with a rare genetic syndrome received a life-changing kidney transplant from her brother.

Emily Alanko received the kidney in February from her half-brother, Dr. Daniel Alanko, at Cohen Children's Medical Center.

In May, she returned to the hospital to thank her doctors and perform a dance -- her favorite hobby.

Dr. Alanko currently is doing a residency in pediatric emergency in New Jersey, but worked previously at Cohen Children's himself.

Emily was born with Branchio-OtoRenal (BOR) Syndrome which can impact both hearing and renal function. In Emily's case, she was born with just one kidney that wasn't functioning properly.

Only one in 40,000 babies worldwide are born with the disorder.

"We were getting to the point where Emily was getting more tired, falling asleep during the day, she had no appetite, she wasn't gaining weight," said medical director of the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Center Dr. Pamela Singer.

Emily's mother, Monica Resendez, a special education teacher, had Emily early at 32 weeks.

"That's when we found out that day and I was afraid to see her, I was afraid, I almost didn't want to because I was afraid I wouldn't have a live baby and Dr. Sethna just calmed me," Resendez said.

They needed a donor, so Emily's own Brother, Dr. Alanko, raised his hand.

"I think it's the most important thing I've ever done, I think it's one of the most important things that anyone could do," Dr. Alanko said.

Her surgery was Feb. 6 and while Emily was in one operating room, her brother was in another next door.

"About four hours later, he came out and said it was such a success and I broke down, crying like a baby," Emily's father Steven Alanko said.

Although the surgery was successful, Emily will have to keep taking her medication, likely for the rest of her life. But the best part of this kidney donation is that it increases her life expectancy by at least 40 years.

"My son is my hero and my baby girl whose life he saved, always my hero," Steven said.

Now Emily can get back to her passion -- dancing.

"When she came back to dance, it was like the biggest relief for me to see her back in her element, it was so beautiful -- her smile, her attitude, it was her again," said dance instructor Linda Castro.

Her mom said Emily is now herself again.

"She's awake, she's woken up, so we're very happy," Resendez said.

A 216-acre park on Long Island is home to 4 mansions straight out of 'The Great Gatsby' — take a closer look

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Sands Point Preserve is a 216-acre park in New York.

The preserve sits on what used to be the Guggenheim Estate on Long Island's North Shore.

The property has four  mansions , including an Irish-inspired castle built in 1902.

There are many mansions scattered across the North Shore of Long Island, New York, that date back to the Roaring '20s.

In Sands Point, a village at the tip of Cow Neck Peninsula, there lies a 216-acre park and conservancy that dates even further back to 1900, when the land was purchased by Howard Gould, the son of the railroad tycoon Jay Gould .

Over 100 years later, the four separate homes built on this property — Castle Gould, Hempstead House, Falaise, and Mille Fleurs — are still in pristine condition. Three have been converted to museums, and much of the land has been cut through with hiking trails.

I visited in June 2024 to take an informative self-guided tour of two of the homes, and I felt like I was traveling back in time to the era of F. Scott Fitzgerald and Jay Gatsby's neighborhood, West Egg.

Here's what it's like to visit the Sands Point Preserve today.

On a June afternoon, I made the drive to Sands Point, a village on Long Island. It costs $15 per car or $4 per person to walk into Sands Point Preserve.

Here's where Sands Point lies on the map. The other circled locations are other mansions from the same era across Long Island.

After I parked, I was greeted with a map of the preserve, including the locations of its four mansions and multiple hiking trails.

The first structure I saw was the oldest on the property: Castle Gould, completed in 1904.

Castle Gould, which spans 100,000 square feet, is based on the medieval Irish castle Kilkenny, which was built starting in 1192.

Source: Sands Point Preserve , Business Insider

Financier Howard Gould commissioned it to please his wife, the actor Katherine Clemmons, according to the preserve.

The medieval vibes continue inside. This room serves as a lobby — in Gould's time, the entire castle served as a stable and carriage house.

Much of Castle Gould isn't available to tour, but the Great Hall, seen here, can be used for private events.

You might wonder why Castle Gould was just used as a carriage house. That's because Gould's wife, Katherine, didn't like the finished product.

Source: Sands Point Preserve

So, the family constructed another mansion just across the lawn in 1912.

That home is called Hempstead House. It's smaller but still measures an incredible 50,000 square feet. It has 40 rooms.

Gould and Clemmons never actually lived here together. They divorced in 1909, with Gould accusing his wife of having an affair with Buffalo Bill Cody.

Gould finished the estate but sold it in 1917 so he could move abroad.

He sold it to Daniel and Florence Guggenheim — yes, those Guggenheims. His brother, Benjamin, died on the Titanic. Another brother, Solomon, founded the NYC museum of the same name.

Hempstead House is only available for tours on Wednesdays in July and August. I'll be coming back to get a better look at the interior.

I was able to see one room through the door and was already impressed by the design.

But the Rose Garden behind Hempstead House is open to any visitors.

Now, instead of roses, there are dozens of native flowers to help facilitate pollination.

The home also has a view of the Long Island Sound, seen here in the distance.

The third mansion at Sands Point is Falaise, which was built on 90 acres of land Daniel gave to his son, Harry, upon his wedding to Caroline Morton in 1923.

Harry had a fascinating life. He was an avid aviator and friends with legendary pilot Charles Lindbergh. Harry also founded the Long Island newspaper Newsday with his wife in 1940.

Source: Library of Congress

His home, Falaise, is available to see via private tours offered on weekends from May through October.

"Falaise" means cliffside in French, an apt name for the cliffside mansion.

Daniel and Florence Guggenheim lived in Hempstead House until he died in 1930.

Upon his death, Florence moved to the fourth and smallest mansion on the property, Mille Fleurs, French for "1,000 flowers." It's private to this day.

In 1940, during World War II, Florence reopened Hempstead House for refugee children.

By 1946, 162 acres of the land had been gifted to the US Navy, which operated the Naval Training Device Center there through 1967.

In 1971, Harry Guggenheim died, leaving his personal 90 acres to Nassau County. That same year, the county acquired the unused Naval land. Together, this reformed the estate.

Now, you can tour two of the four mansions, hike, and even go to the beach.

To the west, you can see Westchester County in the distance.

To the east: the Long Island town of Glen Cove.

Even without the mansions, Sands Point Preserve would be a beautiful park. But with them, you can feel like you're stepping back into the time of Gatsby and the Roaring '20s.

I Do!: Lou Bernardi and Alyssa Iacona of Glen Cove

Alyssa and Lou Bernardi on their wedding day.

Alyssa and Lou Bernardi on their wedding day. Credit: Chris Herder Photography

Lou Bernardi and Alyssa Iacona grew up not far from one another and traveled the same halls as teens in high school, but adulthood is what finally brought them face-to-face.

They had mutual friends, shared similar interests and graduated from Herricks High School in New Hyde Park, Bernardi in 2006 and Iacona in 2009. Yet it was an Instagram page view that set their romance in motion.

In June 2021, Bernardi saw Iacona’s Instagram page and noticed that they were “mutuals,” meaning they followed each other on the social media platform. “There was something intriguing and alluring” about Iacona that motivated him to message her, Bernardi recalled.

Iacona, now 33 and a funeral director, said her future husband was very persistent about taking her on a date and getting to know her.

“So he goes, ‘You look really familiar,’ ” Iacona recalled. She remembers recognizing him right away. He asked her out and they dined at a local restaurant and immediately hit it off.

“He was a complete gentleman from the beginning,” she said.

They went to baseball games, the beach, Broadway shows and traveled. After about a year of dating they moved in together.

On Sept. 15, 2022, Bernardi, a former baseball coach, proposed on a yacht off the coast of Connecticut, with a sunset view of the Manhattan skyline.

“We had the captain greet us with champagne and the people that work on the boat had drinks and food ready for us,” Bernardi, now 36, recalled. “On the roof of the boat are six of our closest friends throwing down roses at her while I proposed.”

They tied the knot on Nov. 24, 2023, at The Mariners Memorial Chapel in Kings Point before 175 guests.

Christopher Iacona, the bride’s brother and owner of Fiore Designs in Farmingdale, draped the reception venue top to bottom with an elaborate display of flowers.

“When I entered the room, it was so overwhelmingly beautiful how he went above and beyond as a gift,” Iacona said.

The couple wed at The Mariners Memorial Chapel in Kings Point. Their reception was at the Heritage Club of Bethpage.

WINE AND DINE

The Heritage Club included in-house catering at the reception, with dishes including Tuscan Bistro, Penne Ala Vodka and Chianti Short Rib. At cocktail hour, guests had a sushi rolling station, a raw shellfish and pasta bar and a live champagne wall.

They traveled across the Hawaiian islands, spending quality time in Honolulu, Maui and Kauai. They visited Pearl Harbor Memorial, did a Jurassic Park tour at Kualoa Ranch, went whale watching and took a helicopter tour.

“Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart

Five things Iacona loves about her husband: He always makes sure she eats; how he looks at her every morning when he wakes up; how he calls her multiple times every day; how they communicate; and how they always try to spend quality time together.

Five things Bernardi loves about his wife:  She’s his inspiration for working harder; she’s the one person he can trust with anything; he feels safest when he’s with her; she’s the best partner to have when going through difficulties; and she motivates him to be the best he can be.

By far one of my BEST Omakase experiences I've ever had. The 18 pieces Omakase was so fresh and high quality and the service was amazing. During our dining experience, We were introduced to the Head Chef, the assistant staff began to prep and plate each individual course for all 12 guests. Each dish was described and appeared as a work of art! The freshness n texture was completely satisfying. We were comfortably seated for our food tasting courses around a large "L" shaped bar with a nice selection of all types of sake, wine and beer. You must try this restaurant, Why travel to the city when you have the best Omakase here on Long Island at Sora Omakase. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This Omakase place opened up literally 3 minutes from my house so I was extremely excited to try them out. I have been to a few Omakase places and I have to say that Sora has surpassed them! The chefs were absolutely phenomenal and skilled, the staff was attentive, informative and personable and the variety of food they served was great. We went with the 18 piece experience and it did not disappoint, by the end of the night I was perfectly satisfied. This place is also very small with a limited amount of seats therefore this guarantees that you will be the center of attention for the entire experience which makes it that much better. I highly recommend visiting if you are someone who really enjoys Omakase or if you want to try it out for the first time!

This place is excellent, and SO charmingly genuine. My husband and I were blown away by the experience and the high standard that the chef/owner maintains. It's expensive but we went for a birthday dinner and it felt very celebratory. Highly recommend!

Didn't know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, including the zen ambiance, the amazing service and the foods were top notch! We were served rare fish pieces, exquisite appetizers and desserts! I would definitely recommend it, and will come back next time!

We dined at Sora Omasake for Mother's Day celebration and were blown away by the exquisite culinary experience. The food was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and each dish showcased Master Chef Osan Weng's skill and creativity. The service lead by Steven was impeccable, with attentive staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Sora Omasake to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

This was my first time experiencing Omakase and it did not disappoint. The second you walk-in you feel so welcomed and taken care of. The service was immaculate and extremely elegant. The staff was well educated on the food served and the history behind it all. All dishes were top notch and probably one of the best culinary experiences I've had in a long time. I'm happy it's in a location where it's not too over-hyped or populated - making it feel very intimate and a hidden gem. With a constantly changing / surprising menu I cannot wait to go back for my next experience.

Definitely the most high-end and most delicious meal I have ever had. It was THE best experience with amazing service, staff was so attentive and interacted and you could tell everyone enjoyed being there. The food was also amazing, such unique flavors and so melt in your mouth. It was 100% so great across the board. I would definitely recommend.

We went for 13-course omakase ($95 each) for my husband's birthday. We always get omakase for our special days so i would say we have high standards. Sora omakase did not disappoint us! We even decided to add 2 more nigiris a la carte at the end. I especially loved the ootoro nigiri with truffle paste and katsuo nigiri. The only downside(?) is if you do 13-course instead of 18-course, there is quite some time in between dishes where you have to wait for the people with 18-course to finish their extra dishes. But other than that, I would def recommend this place! Good service as well!
