First time with Hays

First time with Hays, Gemma was brilliant with us ensuring we had the hotel we wanted. She checked two airports and two travel companies to offer us the best travel times, available rooms etc. She also said that she would sort out my special assistance needs (will be taking my wheelchair) but this might take a day or two. As I was on my way home she rang to say it was all arranged for me. Prompt service

Such a friendly and super helpful staff !!!

From walking in the door the staff were so inviting and friendly . I had so much help choosing our holiday and staff never made me feel rushed , they were happy to help find the right holiday for us . The main ladies I dealt with were Helen ( helped me choose on Wednesday) then a young lady helped book my choice on Thursday ( I think it was Gemma 🤷‍♀️) nevertheless my experience from choosing to booking was totally amazing . We booked the holiday at the Bridgend…

We booked the holiday at the Bridgend branch. The sales assistant was very helpful and told us it was a one stop shop so we also took out insurance. We did not get our Euros at the time, as we wanted to check the exchange rate. We checked and exchange rate and it was comparable with others, so my wife popped in the a few days later to pick some up. When she got home and we checked the amount it seemed low. My wife went in store the next day to check and was told the higher rate was only for exchange of over £500.00. This was not advertising anywhere, I went back to the shop to check. I could not see any small print on the board stating the exchange rate at different amounts. Please increase your signage. Also, at the time of booking we asked if there was any local taxes, as we had heard in Venice there maybe some tourist taxes. The sales assistant checked and we were told there was NO taxes. When we checked in at the hotel the receptionist told us there was a tourist tax all across Italy and ours was €37. How didn’t the sales assistant know this. By booking with you we lost out on €62 including the exchange rate loss. Very unlikely we will book with you again.

Poland trip - Girls on tour

The girls. All of them are great, nothing is too much trouble. Always helpful even with complaints about part of the holiday we went on. \Activated refund notice before we had got back home from the holiday. Good service.

Helen, our advisor was very helpful and efficient. No pressure or rush to get us to book a holiday. Recommend private transfers to hotel and for return journey to airport, which she has found at an excellent rate. Managed to get the price down form the original quote. Definitely would recommend Hayes in Bridgend.

She did several searches for the right holiday taking in to account all our requirements - destination, board, location to ammentities, travel times, transfer times and dates and helped us to book seats on the plane.
