• 4.Management is not responsible for luggage/baggage and Personal belongings of the tourists.

• 6.The management reserves the right to cancel the trip in case the numbers of seats booked are less than 15 and for any such other reasons.
• 7.The ticket is valid for the particular journey to which it is issued.
• 8.Children above the age of 5 years will be charged full fare. No seats will be given to children below 5 years. (Age proof Required)
• 9.Passengers are requested to report 15 minutes in advance. The bus will not wait for passenger who arrives late.
• 10.Smoking and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the coach.
• 11.Purchasing articles from other than Govt. shops is at their own risk.
• 12.The Corporation shall neither be responsible nor refund the amount in case the tourists miss the bus on account of late reporting to the pickup point.
• 13.Tipping the staff including the Guide is strictly prohibited. They are paid by KSTDC except for BHS trip.
• 14.Pets and Animals not allowed inside the bus while on Journey.
• 15.The management has all the right to make the passengers to get down from the bus, who are travelling on invalid tickets, disturbing the co-passengers & drunken passengers, without any refund.
• 16.No postponement of journey will be made within 24 hours. There is no refund on cancellation of one time Preponed/Postponed ticket.
• 17.Tariff is subject to change without notice.
• 18.Accommodation is subject to availability of the rooms and they are subject to change without prior notice.
• 19.Senior Citizens are provided with 20% discount on transportation by default while booking ticket. Hence they must produce valid proof.
• 20.The management shall not be liable for third party suppliers including arrangements with accommodation providers, activity providers and local guides and other independent parties (Third party suppliers) to provide you with some or all the components of your bookings.
• 21.The management shall not be liable and will not assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointed, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting from the act or omission of any party other than Tour Operator and its employees.
• 22.The management resources all the right to update or alter their terms and condition at any time, and will post the amended terms and condition in the tour package.
• 24.The package tour tariff includes only accommodation and transportation costs, the other charges like food, entrance tickets, etc.. should be borne by tourists themselves.

Very comfortable stay.Location is excellent but would have enjoyed more if if higher level (height) resort is allotted for better viewing of sceneries. Bathroom size & dressing area are smaller & congested for ladies as compared to similar properties. Cleaning of TV stand(stabiliser area ) needs improvement.Old TV is to be replaced. Restaurant ambience is excellent along with Food quality & cost.Morning Breakfast readiness is delayed for some items ( some guests were not happy).May be improved.Staff /services are excellent.KTDC counter for Original local Spices(Spice Board) for easy purchase by customers can be opened in the lounge.When not occupied,rooms should be kept open for longer time to avoid Damping smell of room/cloth items. With above improvements,stay at Tea County shall be comparable to Top Brands.Best wishes

While searching for our stay in munnar, i was exploring various options in the beginning but i am blessed that i made a wise decision to stay at this top class KTDC Tea County. Though, it is owned by state govt but when you enter you will just enamored by the interiors which is so well maintained, the rooms are recently renovated, interior work is so exquisitely done, excellent service will not give you the feeling of anything less than any top class 5 star. It is one of the biggest property in munnar in terms of land parcel which is widely spread. The usp of the property is its location which i also liked the most. We were served welcome drink which was warm made up of spices, me and my wife just loved it, undoubtedly the best property in munnar to stay. Would love to come back again. Thanks

May i request you to intimate whether make my trip would run homestays. We have 11 flats in guruvayur, very near to temple. 11 different owners. Atpresent, it is run by a person known to us. He is not running it satisfactorily. 85 meters from the temple. Can you take over? what are the conditions. In response to your request, may i pen a few lines regarding my stay in ktdc county. The room allotted was very spacious and neat. The toilet was also very clean. Everything required for immediate use was kept in the toilet. The breakfast is worthmentioning. Though i have travel-led far and wide, this type of variety of foods was new experience to me. Every item of food was very tasty.

KTDC Tea county - what a wonderful experience and a placent stay, the resort is located at the heart of the city. All the staff from Managment to daily cleaning, everyone was really supportive with best services delivered to us. Everyone has a smiling face and is always ready to help. The resort is well maintained, with huge space having greenery and lots & lots of different varieties of flowers. Breakfast is complementary, and honestly speaking, one of the best dining experiences with good taste and healthy options 😋 A must stay resort if anyone is visiting Munnar with 5 start rating !!

Firstly to start the resort was amazing. Starting from ambience to staff and service everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend this resort for people with family. Secondly coming to rooms they are good and do justice to the price you pay. The view mostly you see from this resort is valley view and it can be seen all along the resort irrespective of what room you choose. Lastly the restaurant here is very basic in the terms of taste. I wouldnt recommend the restaurant if you are looking for a mouth watering dishes. Overall i would highly recommend this resort!

We had stayed for couple of nights in premium room. The premium room offers beautiful decor, an enchanting valley view from the balcony, a proper king size bed. The resort staffs are courteous. The resort is conveniently located very near to the prime area. In dine-in, the restaurant of the resort was only offering buffet wherein the items were spicy and the spread was monotonous. The restaurant needs an upliftment in terms of improving the variety of food and the flavour. Overall a memorable stay at the resort.

Beautiful location, inside the main town of munnar still very quiet. Spread over a few acres of area, properly maintained garden. We have stayed in royal premium room which is very spacious and, maintained, clean washroom with all necessary amenities. Electric kettle for tea, coffee. There is a dressing area also with large cupboards and safe, which is really good. Breakfast well spread, we had taken buffet dinner which is also very good with varieties of veg and non veg options along with desserts.

The resort is too picturesque located at center of city. Each of the rooms have a beautiful balcony that opens up to awesome views of town and tea estates. The buildings are well designed to blend with the surroundings thereby no overwhelming the locale rather adds to the charm. I would suggest everyone planning to visit munnar check in to tea county. There is noresort that can equal it in terms of lactation and beauty

Ktdc munnar is a brilliant place, nice rooms with views, really cool, friendly staff; enjoyed my stay to the max. If just for the sake of it something can be improved, breakfast buffet is one.

Tea county is a nice place to stay at munnar. No nonsense place with good vibes and scenic beauty. Food is good with enough variety. Only issue is the road to the KTDC Tea County. It's pretty steep and difficult to reach by walk, especially for elders.

KTDC’s monsoon tour packages promise amazing offers

The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation has flagged off amazing monsoon tour packages to lure tourists to enjoy the picturesque locales. The monsoon packages promise interesting discounts and offers to visit some of the fabulous destinations in the state.

Visits to the wild life sanctuaries in Thekkady, the cool climate of Munnar and Ponmudi, the backwaters of Kumarakom and Kochi are included in the package. The tourists would be accommodated at the KTDC resorts at these spots.

The package for Rs 9,999 includes accommodation for two adults and two children of below twelve years at KTDC premium destination resorts like the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, Aranya Nivas in Thekkady and Bolgatty Palace in Kochi. The package of Rs 11,999 is available at the Waterscapes resort in Kumarakam and the Tea County in Munnar.

KTDC Tea County - The best property in Munnar”

I stayed in this wonderful property with my family, consisting of senior citizens and young children. As we entered the premises, we were pleasantly surprised with the lush green and well kept lawns surrounding the main building. The check-in process was a breeze and we were assigned cottages on the first floor. Mind you, the property offers stand alone cottages as well as hotel-style cottages. The rooms were spacious with olden era styled tapestry and furniture. The balconies of our rooms faced the mountains and the view was breathtaking. The property gives a feeling of old English bungalows style ambience but has all modern amenities like wi-fi and LCD TVs with DTH connection. The staff was humble and courteous. Everyone smiled at us in greeting no matter how many times we passed them in varendahs. We had buffet breakfast included in our package and the variety of food on offer was quite wide, consisting of South indian, North indian and continental cuisines. Lunches and dinners have a large variety and quality of food is very good and tasty with minimal spices. The best part of the stay was the calmness and quietness all around. You get to experience abundant sunshine all through the day. At the break of dawn thru morning, you get to see and hear different kinds of birds that is just awesome. All in all, our experience at this property was way apart from that at other properties. We stayed for 3 days there and we enjoyed every second of our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this property if you are in Munnar.

Exceptional”

Located in the munnar city. Theres no doubt that this is best property in that area. Without travelling far, u can enjoy tourism packages in four directions with ease. Food was amazing, service impeccable. We were made most comfortable, given a room with a good view and all our other requests were attended to. The property is really aesthetic with a well maintained garden which is a feast to our eyes. Will be visiting again for sure.

Relaxing stay at KTDC Tea County”

We had a relaxing and beautiful stay at this resort. The location was ideal for us and the activities we had mapped out. The location has well maintained grounds so it was a delight waking up to well maintained grounds and lots of beautiful flowers! The rooms were spacious and very clean. We rested comfortably here. The receptionist and housekeeping staff were very helpful and provided great customer service. We experienced some delays in service with the kitchen staff. Overall, it was a great time and we recommend staying here for a peaceful break from all the noise.

Wonderful Stay ”

We stayed there for four nights. These are the pros and cons Pros :- 1) Location - Its centralised. So every tourist spot is in equidistance. 2) Rooms - Very clean and spacious 3) Staff - They are very friendly Cons:- 1) Food - The buffet in the morning is simply repetitive. It does not have a good spread. They have very few options for the price that I paid. Many hotels offer more breakfast for this price 2) Views :- I stayed in Royal Premium Room. It did not have much views Conclusion:- I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location. It saves a lot of time and travel. Hotels is in the heart of the town so you have lots of food options around and also for other purchases. They definitely have to improve on their food spread. I felt it was a bit stingy. Other good hotels are a bit far away in Chithirapuram. I will surely recommend this resort.

I stayed in KTDC Tea county on May 29th and 30th. Positive notes: a) Room is clean and Spacious b) Bathroom is neat and clean c) Best scenic view room, awesome view of city site on the front and mountain view at the back from the balcony side. It was chill and foggy :) d) Good Restaurants nearby e) BF Buffet spread was good and tasty. Nice to see they are Refilling them hot and on time Staffs are helping to serve ghee roast/Egg omlette etc on the table too. f) Staffs are cleaning corridor regularly and outside mosquito / pesticides sprays are done everyday g) Gardens are maintained properly and regularly. Negative notes: a) Both the days AFTER they mopped the room there was a bad smell. They should probably dry the mop properly or high time to replace it. But when we requested them for a room freshner and they provided immediately. b) Bathrooms are bit smaller c) Very bad and shaky lift d) They can add more Indoor/Outdoor games. They have only one threadmill on the ground floor for gym purpose, 1 Billiards, 1 TT room. Overall my stay was pleasant, BF was complimentary so during night we took food at nearby Rochas restaurant (350m) which was affordable and very tasty. I recommend this hotel :)

• The package is for 2 adults + maximum 2 school children below the age of 12 years and inclusive of breakfast and all tax.
• The same package can be offered to a couple having no children and there is no age bar for the couple for availing the package.
• The family having only one child above the age of 12 years or if one of the child has crossed 12 years can also be offered the special family package.
• Additional food, beverages, Ayurvedic massage etc are at actual cost.

• For availing the above special packages the reservation shall be made in the name of school going child below the age of 12 years.
• At Aranya Nivas, Jungle view & at Ponmudi, Hill view cottage will be provided.
• The packages are produced as part of the general promotions; therefore the package is applicable only to the families having children below the age of 12 years.
• The validity of the package is in the month of 1 st April to 31 st May 2023.
• Packages are not applicable on weekends. (Friday, Saturday) & Holidays.
• The parents shall produce copy of the age proof of the child and address proof of the parent while check-in.
• The grand-parents along with their grand-child/children within the age group of 12 years can be availed this special offer.
• The provision of room will be subject to the availability of room.
• No cancellation is permitted.
