S-Bahnlinie S1 zum Flughafen

Der S-Bahnhof am Flughafen Hamburg befindet sich direkt unter der Airport Plaza. Über das moderne Wegeleitsystem, vier große Fahrstühle sowie acht Rolltreppen gelangen Reisende direkt in die Plaza und die Terminals.

Die Station am Flughafen wird in der Regel im 10-Minuten-Takt von der Linie S1 von Wedel/Blankenese und Altona über den Hauptbahnhof kommend angefahren. Die Fahrzeit beträgt 25 Minuten. Damit Reisende nicht umsteigen müssen, werden die Züge aus Richtung Innenstadt in Ohlsdorf geteilt – der vordere Zugteil fährt zum Flughafen, die hinteren Wagons nach Poppenbüttel.

Die Taxizonen befinden sich in den Ankunftsbereichen hinter den Ausgängen vor Terminal 1 und 2. Eine Fahrt in die Innenstadt beträgt ca. 10 Kilometer und kostet ca. zwischen 20,00 und 25,00 Euro. Den Richtpreis zu Ihrem Ziel können Sie mit dem Taxi-Rechner ermitteln. Für Fahrten von und zu Orten außerhalb Hamburgs können Sie Festpreise vereinbaren.

Für Kurzparker stehen am Hamburg Airport vier unterschiedliche Parkterminal zur Verfügung. Zusätzlich halten zwei Holiday Parkareale knapp 4.000 Stellplätze für die entspannte Urlaubsanreise mit dem eigenen Auto bereit. Ein Shuttlebus bringt Sie vom Holiday Parkareal direkt zum Terminal.

Want to get from Hamburg Airport to Hamburg’s downtown without moving from the terminals? We recommend you to keep reading since it may be the best choice for you!

S-Bahn (the suburban railway) S1 line gets to the city centre within 10 minutes.

From 04:28 am every 20 minutes, from 06:00 am to 11:00 pm every 10 minutes, and then until 00:14 am.

Frequency is of every 10 minutes (Monday to Friday) and every 10 to 20 minutes (Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays). 

Other destinations within Hamburg

On the other hand, if you wish to get to Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg’s Hauptbahnhof) instead of the city centre, it takes approximately 25 minutes.  Also, the nearest underground rail station is Ohlsdorf junction station. It is accessible through U1 U-Bahn line.

At Ohlsdorf, S-Bahn U1, S1 and S11 lines are accessible.

S-Bahn Station is located in front of Hamburg Airport Terminals, accessible by both lifts and escalators. 

Price for a one-way adult ticket is € 3.20, adult return ticket is € 6.20. Children (From 6 to 14 years old) one-way ticket is € 1.20. On the other hand, to save money, you can use the Hamburg Card, which will allow you to travel for several public transport (bus, ferry, etc.)  For picking up the train, and the entire public transport network, it will cost you just € 10.90.

If you plan to travel by public transport while your stay in Hamburg, then Hamburg CARD is the best option.

Travel for unlimited times by any mean of public transport (bus, train and ferry) throughout the HVV service area. It is valid within Hamburg and its metropolitan area.  You can also get nice discounts (50%) in tourist attractions, restaurants and shops.

If you travel in family, a single Hamburg CARD will be enough for one adult and for 3 more children aged between 6 and 14 years’ old. Hamburg CARD is sold at The Airport Office, Hamburg Tourist Information Offices, at any ticket machine and at HVV service points.

Künftig stationiert die Lufthansa-Tochter ein Flugzeug am Franken-Airport und wird im Rahmen des Sommerflugplans zehn europäische Ziele anfliegen, wie ein Flughafen-Sprecher am Freitag mitteilte. Damit sei Nürnberg nun die dreizehnte sogenannte Basis der Fluggesellschaft in Europa.

In diesem Zuge kommen demnach die drei neuen Reiseziele Rom, Nizza und Bastia auf Korsika hinzu. Mit dem Winterflugplan will Eurowings zudem sechsmal wöchentlich eine Verbindung von Nürnberg nach Hamburg anbieten. Der operative Leiter des Eurowings-Geschäfts, Edi Wolfensberger, begründete den Ausbau der Präsenz mit einer besseren Anbindung Nordbayerns an beliebte Ziele in Südeuropa. Flughafen-Geschäftsführer Michael Hupe fügte hinzu, der Schritt drücke das große Vertrauen aus, das Eurowings in den Markt und seine Potenziale habe.
