Belfast and Titanic experience

Belfast and Titanic trip just completed. Tour manager Tony and coach driver, excellent. Stayed at Ibis, great location, close to centre. Close to good bars, would recommend Kelly's, 5 min walk from Ibis. Newmarket itinerary for 4 day, 3 night break very good. Titanic and Giants Causeway a must. Only slight negative, would have liked a headset for Titanic, would have happily paid a few quid .ore when booking . Overall, great trip, would recommend. Paul and Carol

Scottish Railways

Scottish Railways A wonderful 5 day break in the Scottish Highlands - cannot fault Robert, our tour guide and Tanya the driver for their knowledge and the way they looked after us. The Hotel (Carrbridge) was excellent - clean, warm and friendly staff with wonderful food, Perhaps a little outdated in parts, but overall an amazing holiday. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to explore Scotland. Thank you Newmarket

What an amazing break I had in Belfast…

What an amazing break I had in Belfast recently. Three nights away gave me chance to reboot, learn how a city has done an amazing job to regenerate after the troubles. Tony our guide gave us all a great experience with just the right level of leadership and teamwork with Thomas the driver. I had a great time and would definitely recommend a trip to Belfast,Newmarket Holidays and Tony and Thomas, and the Ibis city centre hotel again. Well done 👏

The Undiscovered South Italy tour itinerary was very well put together, all the included and optional days out. Our tour manager, Luca, was extremely helpful, informative and good-humoured! The hotel is very clean and the showers hot. Have patience at dinner - it can take a long time between courses….

Most enjoyable week in congenial company

Congenial company. Well informed but not over-intrusive guide, Luca. Excellent hotel with well trained staff offering a very professional service and a good choice of menus with local food and, wherever possible, plenty of fresh fruit, all served to a high standard. Good balance between well-chosen organised tours, and free time. Well planned coach outings with sensitive guiding from the knowledgeable Luca.

Absolutely faultless tour of Northern Ireland

Absolutely faultless! I honestly could not have asked for a better tour of Northern Ireland, thanks to Newmarket holidays. The way everything was organised was fantastic and our tour Manager Tony was nothing but polite, helpful and full of knowledge, not only for the tour but for recommendations on where to eat and what to do in the evenings once we had returned to the hotel after exploring all day. The coach driver was also an extremely good driver. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had an extremely goood breakfast, which set me up for the day before I headed off in the morning. Would recommend Newmarket holidays to anyone, especially those who are considering going to Northern Ireland. Would definitely consider booking with them again.

Belfast and Titanic

Awful experience and that is just at…

Awful experience and that is just at the initial stage. Being told cannot leave “tour” early which we wish to do due to inhospitable travel times. Tour operator lied to travel agent about distance from hotel to airport and frequency of flights. All in all very poor, would check thoroughly who tour operator is before booking any other holiday. If it’s Newmarket I will be avoiding like the plague

Very pleasant break

Tony was a knowledgeable guy who furnished us with plenty of information throughout the stay and looked after everyone as you’d expect . The Titanic hotel was excellent except no subtitles on the TV .

Everything about this holiday was great. Well organised, brilliant guide. Good hotels and all the excusions, rickshaws, tuc tuc rides etc were included on the holiday price. Very good value.

Explore Andalucia by Little Boat

Hipotels Sherry Park, is an excellent base for Explore Andalucia by Little Boats. On the free days you can take advantage of the many spaces, both inside and outside the hotel, to relax in and or socialise. Breakfasts were particularly enjoyable, due to the excellent choice of fresh food and the friendly, helpful staff. Should you choose not to eat in the hotel, a 5-10 minute walk will take you to a lovely restaurant, near the Andalusian Equestrian School, specialising in products based on Iberian ham. I hope Newmarket Holidays will continue to visit this part of Andalucia, with it’s unique and varied landscape and the beautiful towns/cities of Cadiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Seville, to explore. The trip to the Donana National Park, which was one of the reasons I chose this holiday, did not quite go to plan and perhaps needs some fine tuning – I was hoping to see more birds and perhaps even some flamingos. The trip was still enjoyable however, despite this. Thank you to Jude, our Tour Manager - her troubleshooting skills proved to be invaluable. The safety of our group was also, always at the forefront of her mind.

Newmarket Holidays Last Minute & Late Deal Offers

Like all holiday companies Newmarket Holidays generally don't sell every seat on every tour or every cabin on every ship during the busy booking period (post Christmas into January and February) So nearer the departure date unsold seats and cruise cabins may get reduced.

Again like most holiday firms Newmarket Holidays monitor their sales and make sure their holidays have sold enough places to make them affordable to run. This means that they don't have to sell any remaining places at ridiculously cheap prices.

However if you are flexible with your dates and holiday choice you can make savings by waiting to the last minute. There is no way to workout what the savings could be, if any. It's worth having a look from time to time to see how the late deal prices are going and what holidays tend to be available.

Newmarket Holiday cancellations are not resold off at really cheap prices either. If someone has to cancel last minute they will have holiday cancellation charges. These may be covered by holidaymakers travel insurance if it is for medical reasons. Scottish Railways

Scottish Railways A wonderful 5 day break in the Scottish Highlands - cannot fault Robert, our tour guide and Tanya the driver for their knowledge and the way they looked after us. The Hotel (Carrbridge) was excellent - clean, warm and friendly staff with wonderful food, Perhaps a little outdated in parts, but overall an amazing holiday. What an amazing break I had in Belfast recently. Three nights away gave me chance to reboot, learn how a city has done an amazing job to regenerate after the troubles. Tony our guide gave us all a great experience with just the right level of leadership and teamwork with Thomas the driver. I had a great time and would definitely recommend a trip to Belfast,Newmarket Holidays and Tony and Thomas, and the Ibis city centre hotel again. Well done 👏

Most enjoyable week in congenial company

Congenial company. Well informed but not over-intrusive guide, Luca. Excellent hotel with well trained staff offering a very professional service and a good choice of menus with local food and, wherever possible, plenty of fresh fruit, all served to a high standard. Good balance between well-chosen organised tours, and free time. Well planned coach outings with sensitive guiding from the knowledgeable Luca.

Absolutely faultless tour of Northern Ireland

Absolutely faultless! I honestly could not have asked for a better tour of Northern Ireland, thanks to Newmarket holidays. The way everything was organised was fantastic and our tour Manager Tony was nothing but polite, helpful and full of knowledge, not only for the tour but for recommendations on where to eat and what to do in the evenings once we had returned to the hotel after exploring all day. The coach driver was also an extremely good driver. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had an extremely goood breakfast, which set me up for the day before I headed off in the morning. Would recommend Newmarket holidays to anyone, especially those who are considering going to Northern Ireland. Would definitely consider booking with them again.

Belfast and Titanic

Our trip to Belfast was made even more enjoyable and interesting thanks to the superlative knowledge and attention to detail of our guide Tony and driver Robert who went out of their way to ensure everyone was well looked after. An excellent trip and well curated programme of visits.

Awful experience and that is just at…

Awful experience and that is just at the initial stage. Being told cannot leave “tour” early which we wish to do due to inhospitable travel times. Tour operator lied to travel agent about distance from hotel to airport and frequency of flights. All in all very poor, would check thoroughly who tour operator is before booking any other holiday. If it’s Newmarket I will be avoiding like the plague

Very pleasant break

Tony was a knowledgeable guy who furnished us with plenty of information throughout the stay and looked after everyone as you’d expect . The Titanic hotel was excellent except no subtitles on the TV .

Explore Andalucia by Little Boat

Hipotels Sherry Park, is an excellent base for Explore Andalucia by Little Boats. On the free days you can take advantage of the many spaces, both inside and outside the hotel, to relax in and or socialise. Breakfasts were particularly enjoyable, due to the excellent choice of fresh food and the friendly, helpful staff. Should you choose not to eat in the hotel, a 5-10 minute walk will take you to a lovely restaurant, near the Andalusian Equestrian School, specialising in products based on Iberian ham. I hope Newmarket Holidays will continue to visit this part of Andalucia, with it’s unique and varied landscape and the beautiful towns/cities of Cadiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Seville, to explore. The trip to the Donana National Park, which was one of the reasons I chose this holiday, did not quite go to plan and perhaps needs some fine tuning – I was hoping to see more birds and perhaps even some flamingos. The trip was still enjoyable however, despite this. Thank you to Jude, our Tour Manager - her troubleshooting skills proved to be invaluable. The safety of our group was also, always at the forefront of her mind.

Newmarket Holidays Launches New Festive Tours for 2023

Escorted tour operator Newmarket Holidays has launched two brand-new festive tours for 2023, one whisking guests away to a gorgeous grand Victorian house in the Peak District and the other showcasing the magic of Hamburg at Christmas. In addition, following an increase in solo bookings for the company in recent months, five other existing and popular winter tours are now available to book without a single supplement fee.

The new 6-day Christmas in the Peak District tour begins with guests checking in to the grand Palace Hotel Buxton set in a stately Victorian countryside house in the heart of the Peak District. On day two, the tour visits Chatsworth House, a Grade I-listed property dating back to the 17th century, where the estate and surrounding grounds are transformed into a joyful Christmas wonderland of extravagant decorations each year. Day three, Christmas Eve, includes a walking tour of the charming thermal spa town of Buxton and a visit to the pretty market town of Bakewell best known for its famous pudding. Guests have the option to attend Midnight Mass at a local church in the evening. Christmas day is then at leisure inclusive of a sumptuous festive lunch with all the trimmings, followed by an optional Peak District National Park walk on day five before a farewell dinner with evening entertainment.
