Come join our guided eco-tours of rudee inlet in virginia beach.
Our guided nature tours are a wonderful way to explore Mother Nature and relax along the way. We give in-depth knowledge into the proper mechanics and techniques needed to make you an efficient paddler. Your tour guide will choose a route based on the tides, winds, waves, and currents, so each tour is a unique adventure. We'll be sure to highlight all the wild animals we see along the way.
If weather and waves allow, we'll paddle to the ocean and go dolphin spotting.
"Nobody gets you closer!" We've seen: bottlenose dolphins, American Bald Eagles, seals, river otters, deer, egrets, pelicans, and the list goes on.
We supply: Tandem Kayak or Single Kayak , a quality paddle, personal flotation device, ample instruction, and a guaranteed good time!
- Flat-Water Kayak Nature Tour: Explore the calm waters of Rudee Inlet on a tandem sit-on-top kayak. Guided by local staff, you will feel safe as the whole family has fun on this 2-hour tour!
- Ocean Kayak Dolphin Tour: There's no better way to see dolphins! If weather permits, we paddle to the ocean for a more exciting experience with a little bit of swell and perhaps a close encounter.

Bonita & I have sold Kayak Nature Tours to Matt and Katie who have run Chesapean Outdoors for over 2 decades. Matt and I share a love of the outdoors and teaching others to enjoy it and have worked together for large groups and small because our common goal is to serve our guests and meet their needs.
