White Glove Installation offers you our highest level of service and convenience and gives you peace of mind that from shipment to delivery to installation, your table will be handled by professionals.

We'll arrange for the pool table to be delivered to one of our approved installers in your area. After they've received the pool table and have inspected it to ensure nothing has been damaged in transit, they'll contact you to arrange a delivery and installation date and time. You just need to be present for the installation and our experienced installer will handle the rest. You'll be enjoying your new pool table the same day!

With this option, freight arrives at your curb. You are responsible for unloading the pool table components from the truck (up to 1000 lbs), checking them for visible damage and arranging professional installation.

• My location has curbside access for a 40' tractor/trailer (or I'll arrange to pick up the table components at a nearby freight depot).
• I am responsible for unloading the pool table components from the truck (which will require at least two people) and checking them for visible damage.
• If I or my qualified installer damage the table or assemble the table incorrectly, the Spencer Marson Warranty will be voided.

Standard cloth is included with any table we sell, and is intended for recreational play. The cloth is susceptible to spills and stains. Since pilling will occur over time, standard cloth will need occasional brushing to remove the fuzz/loose fibers.

The next step up is cloth that is soaked in Teflon TM solution (vs. just sprayed on top) that makes it resistant to spills and stains. If a spill does occur, the liquid beads up, so it’s much easier to clean up. This cloth also needs regular brushing to remove fuzz/loose fibers.

It is a question often asked by many - Which dartboard lasts the longest? To find a definitive answer to this question DartsPal carried out an investigation by testing 5 different stapleless dartboards.

The Investigation

To determine which dartboard was the best in terms of durability, we carried out the following investigation on the top 5 most commonly used stapleless boards in the UK:

- The same player threw on each board for 30 minutes every day for 3 months

- The same darts used on each dartboard so that there were no discrepancies in the weighting

- Board not turned during the process

- 20 minutes of each session thrown at the treble 20 bed

- 10 minutes spread between other numbers on the board and the bullseye

- Reviews on each board after each month.

Boards Tested:

Board One: Winmau Blade 5

Board Two: Eclipse Pro HD 2

Board Three: Bulls Advantage 5.01

Board Four: Harrows Pro Matchplay

Board Five: Target Pro Tour

End of Month 1 - In order from worst to best performing

Worst Performing:  Eclipse Pro HD 2

Already showing heavy signs of wear on the treble 20 bed so much that many of the darts are not staying in the and around the treble 20 bed. 

Average Performing:  Target Pro Tour, Harrows Pro Matchplay, Winmau Blade 5

These boards are showing a considerable amount of wear but darts are still comfortably staying in the treble 20 bed. The rest of the board still in perfect condition.

Best Performing:  Bulls Advantage 5.01

Minor signs of wear. The 20 bed looks considerably better in comparison to its competitors.

End of Month 2 - In order from worst to best performing

Throwing at the treble 20 requires more force than normal for them to sit comfortably. Rest of the board still in good condition.

20 bed looking worse for wear. Still sit in the board comfortably but would have turned the board to a fresh treble half way through the month. Rest of the board still in good condition.

Starting to show signs of wear but the 20 bed still in good enough condition to continue playing without the risk of any darts falling out.

Month 3 (Final) - In order from worst to best performing

A lump is protruding from the 20 bed making the bed unusable. Around 1 in 6 darts fall out.  Of course, if this was your practice board you would have turned to a fresh 20 bed a lot earlier to stop this happening so soon.

Around 1 in 12 darts falling out of the bed with normal force.

20 bed is finally showing signs of wear however darts still stay in the board with normal force.

So there you have it. The clear winner in terms of durability was the Bulls Advantage 5.01. The next Target Pro Tour, Harrows Pro Matchplay and Blade 5 all faired similarly and the Eclipse Pro HD 2 was the worst performer and was the only board to start protruding in month 3.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Target – Pro Tour Dartboard

Heute möchten wir euch das Target Pro Tour Dartboard vorstellen. Das Pro Tour ist ein gutes und günstiges Board welches eine gute Verarbeitung und eine mittlere Härte aufweist.

Qualität & Verarbeitung

Die Qualität des Target Pro Tour Dartboard ist gut. Das Board ist nun zwar schon etwas älter, ist aber unserer Meinung nach immer noch gut und braucht sich auch nicht hinter anderen Boards dieser Preiskategorie verstecken. Wie die meisten professionellen Boards wurde auch bei dem Pro Tour hochwertiges afrikanisches Sisal verarbeitet um eine lange Lebensdauer zu ermöglichen. Unser Testboard sieht auf den ersten Blick nahezu Krampenfrei aus. Die Farben der unterschiedlichen Felder sind konstant aufgetragen und haben eine ordentliche Intensität. Die rote und die grüne Farbe sind im Vergleich zum Blade 5 von Winmau etwas dunkler und zum Advantage 5.01 von Bull’s NL etwas heller. Die weiße Farbe ist schön hell, bietet so einen ordentlichen Kontrast und macht das Pro Tour optisch noch etwas schöner. Ein Verlaufen der Farben in angrenzende Felder konnten wir nicht festellen. Als Zahlenring kommt bei dem Target Pro Tour Board ein Standardzahlenring aus Metall in weiß zum Einsatz, welcher auf dem schwarzen Hintergrund des Boards ordentlich zu sehen ist. Solch einen Ring kennen wir schon von diversen anderen Steeldartboards. Der Zahlenring ist abnehmbar. So kann man das Board immer um ein oder zwei Felder weiter drehen und den Zahlenring wieder montieren damit die 20 oben ist und das Board gleichmäßig bespielt werden kann. Zur Montage des Zahlenringes wird dieser einfach über die Zahlenringklammern gezogen, die im Board stecken. Diese Klammern halten den Zahlenring gut fest, ohne dass dieser wackelt. Umrandet wird das Pro Tour von einem schwarz lackierten Metallring der das gepresste Sisal in Form hält.

Der Draht der Spinne welcher bei dem Target Pro Tour Dartboard verarbeitet wurde ist schön dünn und nach außen hin sehr spitz zulaufend. So werden Bouncer sehr gut vermieden, da die Spitzen der Darts kaum eine Angriffsfläche auf dem Draht haben und sehr gut abgeleitet werden. Bei genauerem Hinsehen mussten wir leider feststellen, dass der Draht bei unserem Testboard nicht immer ganz gerade ist und teilweise leichte Schlangenlinien gebildet hat. Vom Oche aus war dies aber nicht bemerkbar. Was etwas negativ aufgefallen ist, ist das Bulls Eye. Hier wurde ein relativ dicker Ring verarbeitet, der auch etwas weiter aus dem Board heraus ragt. Dadurch war in Kombination mit einem Lichtring ein leichter Schatten im Bulls Eye feststellbar.

Im Lieferumfang des Target Pro Tour Steeldartboards mit enthalten sind neben dem Board und dem weißen Zahlenring noch eine Standard-Wandhalterung, drei Abstandsringe zum Einnageln auf der Rückseite des Boards und eine Bedienungsanleitung in der auch die Grundregeln des Dartssports beschrieben sind.

Spielverhalten

Von der Härte her ist das Target Pro Tour Dartboard unserer Meinung nach ein mittelhartes Dartboard. Vom Gefühl her ist es etwas härter als z.B. ein Winmau Blade 5 aber weicher als ein Bull’s NL Advantage 5.01. Bespielt haben wir das Board mit unterschiedlichen Darts und Spitzen, um so die Haltbarkeit besser testen und beurteilen zu können. Zum Einsatz kamen normale silberne und schwarze Standardspitzen die teilweise auch angeschliffen waren, Target Nano Storm Points, Raptor GT Point, Target Surge Points, LStyle HardLip Points und Datadart Shark Points. Je Nach Gewicht und Spitze drangen die Darts gut in das Board ein und hatten einen soliden Halt im Board. Durch die mittlere Härte des Boards hatten wir den Eindruck, dass die Nano Storm Points einen noch besseren Halt hatten.

Der Verschleiß der Felder beim Bespielen mit den oben genannten Spitzen hatte unterschiedliche Auswirkungen. Bei den normalen, glatten Standardspitzen sowie bei den LStyle HardLip Points war so gut wie kein Verschleiß feststellbar. Mit den angeschliffenen Standardspitzen, den Target Nano Storm Points, den Target Surge Points und den Raptor GT Points von Red Dragon war der Verschleiß recht gering. Lediglich die Datadart Shark Points haben sich hier als Boardkiller gezeigt. Durch die 23 Gramm Barrelgewicht der Darts auf denen die Datadart Shark Points montiert sind und der sehr spitzen Spitze sind die Datadart Spitzen mit dem eingearbeiteten Fingergrip tief ins Board eingedrungen. Durch das Rausziehen der Darts wurde so einiges an Sisalfasern durch den scharfen Fingergrip mitgezogen und haben eine kleine Graterlandschaft auf dem betroffenen Feld im Board hinterlassen.

Die Lautstärke des Target Pro Tour Boards beim Spielen ist meiner Meinung nach etwas leiser als das Winmau Blade 5.

Persönliches Fazit zum Target Pro Tour Dartboard

Wer auf der Suche nach einem guten und günstigen Board ist und nicht unbedingt das neueste vom neuesten haben möchte, der ist mit dem Target Pro Tour Dartboard recht gut bedient. Für 47,95 Euro bekommt man ein solides und haltbares Board. Zwar ist das Pro Tour schon etwas älter aber immernoch technsich und qualitativ auf einem guten Niveau. Ich werde das Target Pro Tour definitiv noch ein bisschen spielen da das Board einfach Spaß macht.

Webb Simpson offers to resign from PGA Tour board. But only if McIlroy replaces him, AP source says

A plan is in place for Rory McIlroy to rejoin the PGA Tour board, a move that would require the board’s approval and could be viewed as a chance to help to improve stalled negotiations with the Saudi financial backers of LIV Golf.

McIlroy resigned from the board in November , saying he felt he could no longer commit the time and energy required with the PGA Tour trying to finalize an agreement with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

The deal with PIF was not finalized, and the PGA Tour instead took on Strategic Sports Group as a minority investor in a deal that could be worth as much as $3 billion.

Webb Simpson, one of the six player directors on the PGA Tour board and PGA Tour Enterprises board, has submitted a letter saying that he wants to resign as a player director but only if McIlroy replaces him, according to a person who has seen the letter.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the letter was not made public. The board is expected to discuss Simpson’s request as early as Wednesday.

PGA Tour Enterprises is the new commercial entity, though six players serve on both boards.

McIlroy’s resignation in November required the other five player directors — Simpson, Tiger Woods, Patrick Cantlay, Adam Scott and Peter Malnati — to elect a player to serve out the term through 2024. They chose Jordan Spieth.

Some of those players have been at odds with McIlroy over the last few months because the four-time major champion has changed his tune about LIV Golf and has suggested LIV players be allowed to return to the PGA Tour without penalty.

Spieth and McIlroy disagreed in February over Spieth’s comments that a deal with PIF was not needed because of the SSG investment, although it would help with unification.

The Simpson case, however, is different. He has not resigned from the board. The person said Simpson’s letter said he would resign if McIlroy could replace him; otherwise, he would stay on the boards.

The person said Simpson indicated the board currently does not have a European player — five are Americans and Scott is Australian.

SSG in a consortium of American sports owners, led by the Fenway Group, and McIlroy has an affiliation with Fenway through the new TGL team league due to start play in January.

The Guardian, which first reported McIlroy’s potential move back to the board , also noted McIlroy has a good relationship with Yasir Al-Rumayyan, the PIF governor.

Al-Rumayyan met with the player directors — he even played nine holes with Woods — in the Bahamas a week after The Players Championship last month. Spieth described that meeting as a chance to talk while figuring out the next step.

There have been no reports of progress since then.

A London financial newspaper, City A.M., reported last week that LIV had offered McIlroy $850 million to join, based on sources it did not identify. McIlroy quickly shot down those rumors and said he would play the PGA Tour “for the rest of my career.” But he also reiterated his hopes that golf could be unified again outside the four majors.

“The game is better when we’re all together,” he said last week at the RBC Heritage.

The hurdle for any kind of a deal has been how to unify the game. Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson are among players who signed bonuses said to be worth upward of $100 million that led to the divide.

McIlroy said last month at The Players Championship that Al-Rumayyan “wants to do the right thing” for all of golf and that LIV Commissioner Greg Norman and others have done the PIF leader a disservice.

“So the closer that we can get to Yasir, PIF and hopefully finalize that investment, I think that will be a really good thing,” McIlroy said.

SSG’s initial investment of $1.5 billion is for a first-of-its-kind equity ownership program. PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said in a February memo that $750 million in aggregate equity would be granted to 36 players based on career performance, last five-year performance and Player Impact Program results.

Those players are to learn details of how much they receive this week.

Report: Potential Bengals First Round Target Rising Up Draft Boards

The Bengals have the No. 18 pick on Thursday night.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals could target Georgia offensive tackle Amarius Mims or LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, both prospects could be long gone.

"They won't be around very long come Thursday. Teams love these dudes," Schultz tweeted.

It would be surprising if the Bengals were targeting Thomas with the No. 18 pick. He could be a trade down candidate, but Mims is a true contender for pick 18.
