Great team, trouble-free booking experience - what's not to like?

This is the 3rd holiday I have booked through Hays and it's always a great experience. The team are really knowledgeable about the different destinations on offer, in fact this time we have even come away with restaurant recommendations to try. Great team, no fuss booking experience and I always feel secure in the knowledge that the team are so accessible and helpful if there are any problems.

Again I messaged Suzanne Start from Above Bar Southampton my requirements. Came back to me with 2 options . Choose the 1 required and Suzanne called me and all booked within 10 minutes.excellent service, very friendly, knowledgeable a real credit to the company.

I spoke to Caitlin about my requirements and she kindly produced the relevant brochures for me to consider. This helped me choose since I am a single traveller and wary of supplements. Her research produced two excellent venues which met my requirements and I was happy to book my final choice after another face-to-face chat. A smiling, helpful demeanour and product-awareness made my visits a success with the minimum fuss and wasted time. Thank you.

Very happy with service

Don't actually live in Southampton, but had wanted to book a holiday. Whist shopping decided to use Southampton branch. Was greeted by a lovely member of their team, Savanah. She did her best to find us, our holiday, within budget, the destination,,and flight times we preferred. After thinking about it, over night, we called her next day, to make the booking. That was purely because, we liked her and the time she gave, to find our holiday.

Savannah was really helpful & nothing to much trouble when asking to look into different options. Emailed & called with booking details. Never use travel agents, always book everything ourselves but will definitely use Hays Travel again

Mixed fortunes at Hays.

Stephen in Hays Southampton was friendly, helpful and efficient I found he went out of his way to arrange the trip I wanted although it was not listed in the brochure. I had previously tried to arrange a break with the Romsey branch but felt the girl did not know what she was doing. She did not phone the travel company, told me what I wanted wasn't available and eventually quoted me £500 more than I was prepared to pay for a 5 day break. Thank goodness I tried again at the Southampton branch where Stephen gave me exactly what I wanted at a price I was prepared to pay.

Had Savannah help me book my holiday for next year, she was lovely and very helpful! Bethany the young lady we spoke to very friendly, helpful nothing to much trouble to get what we required, she helped us choose the cabin where we wanted to be, at the right price for us 👍 ,we were not rushed into booking ,which is great. Traffic warning for Southampton drivers as city welcomes nine cruise ships plus as Saints home game

People travelling around Southampton this weekend are being warned to prepare for traffic delays as the Saints football game coincides with a number of cruise ships arriving.

The centre of Southampton is expected to be busy with a number of events happening in the city, including increased passenger numbers on Red Funnel Crossings.

Red Funnel are expecting particularly busy services on Saturday, making the waterfront area busier than usual.

On Saturday, Southampton Football Club are also playing at home at 3pm so routes around St Mary’s stadium will be busier than usual before and after the game.

The city council say the temporary anti-clockwise, one-way system on the Ring Road remains in place - from Charlotte Place to the Civic Centre.

Across Friday and Saturday four cruise ships were due to visit the port - Iona, Sky Princess and Arcadia.

On Sunday, four cruise ships will be docking in Southampton - Queen Mary 2, Arvia, Queen Victoria and MSC Poesia.
