Parmalee Announces Dates For Headlining 2023 'Take My Name' Tour

One of Country music's most tenacious bands, Parmalee, has announced dates for their 2023 headlining Take My Name Tour.

After a year of incredible achievements including a #1 hit with their track, "Take My Name" - which also received an RIAA Platinum certification and took the #1 spot on Billboard's Year-End Country Airplay Chart - and scoring their first American Music Award nomination, the band is excited to gear up for another year of performing for those who truly make it all happen - their fans.

Eleven date tour kicks off Feb 2nd

One of country music’s most tenacious bands, Parmalee, has announced dates for their 2023 headlining Take My Name Tour. The 11-date trek kicks off February 2nd in Champaign, IL with stops in St. Louis, Green Bay, Minneapolis, Foxborough and others before wrapping April 22nd in West Chester, OH.

“We’ve really been looking forward to this headlining tour!” shares Matt Thomas. “Everything we’ve built over the past couple years has been for this tour and for our fans. ‘Take My Name’ has such a huge connection with folks and with all the love everyone has shown the song, we decided to name this tour run after it.”

Honestly it was over all a good show not very many seats though. The price was very reasonable and the drinks were amazing. My favorite song they sang was Roots and the person the had open for them was amazing too

The show was amazing....the only downfall was that it was too short!! They included/encouraged crowd participation. I will definitely be going to see them again and can't wait until they play at CCMF in June!

Country music has been a genre historically associated with successful solo artists yet every now and again a band appears who prove the theory sometimes more is best. The family affair Parmalee consisting of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas along with their cousin Barry Knox and childhood friend John McSwain have been recording and performing together since 2001.

Their rapport is unlike any other as they simply gel together so well onstage. It is partly due to the family ties and partly due to their complete adoration and excitement to be able to tour around the globe as a unit. The loyal and enthusiastic fanbase also helps with energy levels as they sing, stomp and cheer along with the band under the command of Matt. They were not always a commercial hit so the new material is definitely received better and the boys make the wise decision to finish on their most successful single so far, 'Carolina'. The group is at the height of their career and have a number of exciting revenues they could possibly explore next.

Parmalee to release for you 2 on september 22.

NASHVILLE, TN (August 1, 2023) – With “Girl In Mine” Top Ten and climbing, Parmalee’s current album For You , has already yielded two #1 country singles including the double-platinum “Just The Way,” featuring Blanco Brown, and the platinum-certified “Take my Name,” which was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2022.

Parmalee is bolstering the original version, which People Magazine called “…a stunner of a project,” with five new tracks, including the current hit “Girl In Mine.” The 18-track new version, For You 2 , will be available September 22. Fans can pre-save the album here.

“The support from our fans for this album has been amazing,” said lead singer Matt Thomas. “It’s been 2 years, almost to the date, that we released For You and we just weren’t ready to be done with it. So, we’re excited to announce that we’re gonna add ‘Girl In Mine’ and four new tracks and For You 2 will be out September 22.”

With a full slate of summer festivals and amphitheaters, Parmalee will take their hit-packed set on tour Grammy Award winners Train, later this summer. “We’re thrilled about the tour with Train, and we’ve been fans of them and their music for a long time,” said Matt. “They share a band mentality, just like we do, and I feel like we’re cut from the same cloth in a lot of ways. We’re excited to play our music for their fans.”
