Bunnik Tours announces return to international touring program with new campaign

Australian small-group touring company Bunnik Tours has announced it will resume international tours in 2022.

Through its new campaign centred around reconnecting, Bunnik Tours hopes to inspire everyone to rediscover the joy of travel.

The very first international Bunnik tour will be to Sri Lanka, departing on 29 January 2022. Joint CEO Dennis Bunnik will be joining this departure and travelling with the group for the first week of the tour.

“Our team in Sri Lanka can’t wait to welcome the first Bunnik tour in over 680 days and we have some extra special experiences planned as part of our first tour back,” he said.

The tour operator’s European program will resume on 23 April 2022, with the first departures embarking to Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Both Dennis and Sacha Bunnik (joint CEOs) are planning to be in Europe for the recommencement of these tours.

Through its membership with the Council of Australian Tour Operators, Bunnik Tours is accredited for providing COVID-safe travel practices through the World Travel & Tourism Council.

The company has created a COVID-19 Safe Travel Taskforce “that will manage the information flow and ensure that you are looked after on each step of your journey”, according to Dennis Bunnik.

“This will include helping you navigate the various vaccine passport apps pre-departure,” he said.

Bunnik Tours has also appointed an on-ground COVID marshal in Europe and Asia to help ensure everyone travels safely and follows all the required protocols.
