All 25 Warped Tour Lineups, Ranked

Ranker Music

Warped Tour is one of the biggest names in the concert canon. Those who haven't gone want to and those who have gone wait for the day they can go again. For a majority of its run, it was the largest traveling music festival in the United States. A number of past Warped Tour lineups have been impressive, but which year was the best? Help decide below!

Starting as an eclectic alternative rock festival in 1995 and gradually morphing into a punk rock festival by the next year, the tour gained momentum when Vans, the wildly popular shoe manufacturer, was signed on as the tour's main sponsor in 1996. As Warped Tour became increasingly popular with each passing year, more sponsors signed on, slowly growing the tour's scope of influence. Sadly, 2018 proved to be the final year of the famous tour as announced by Warped Tour's founder, Kevin Lyman.

You'll find every Warped Tour lineup here! Vote below on the best Warped Tour lineups, keeping in mind factors like the bands performing, production value, and overall spectacle. If you're an avid concert-goer, you can also check out this list of the best Coachella lineups ! (Disclaimer - some years certain dates had slightly different lineups).

I will go to this sh**fest just for Green Jelly!

Follow your nose It always knows The flavor of Death Wherever it GOEAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!

4. pinto_beans writes:

Someone refresh my memory, this festival used to be dedicated to true punk bands right?

5. 4string writes:

thats what i thought beans??

6. Valentine_no_more writes:

Emmure! Suicide Silence! White Chapel! Hell Muther F**king yeah! And It's pretty close to me!

7. RTB writes:

Friend of mine is pressing me to go to the pomona show, most likely ill go, looking at the list here and the only intrige for me is white chapel..never heard of green jelly but ill check em out and see what there about

8. BrunoHockalugie writes:

RTB- I looked it up and in addtion to Green Jello I will be there to see Face to Face and Dropkick Murphys.

Green Jello is the band that got me into metal, more or less. They are basically the West Coast version of Gwar, with more of a "comic" type feel. Check out the following songs for a feel of the band:

Toucan Son of Sam Carnage Rules Rock and Roll Pumpkin Super Elastic

and of course their biggest hit, the 3 Little Pigs song.

9. PuckettJp2 writes:

all the bands on Warped Tour suck except for: andrew w.k., sum 41, casualties, bouncing souls, and agent orange

10. EsotericSurgery writes:

wow. Warped Tour gets worse every single year :S

11. deathfreak writes:

What a crappy line up. Green Jello is the only band that is ok. This tour started off a a pretty decent punk tour now they suck. What happened to bad religion, rancid, transplants ect. Now its just a Core infested tour.

12. Blindgreed1 writes:

Little pig Little pig let me in! Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!!! LMFAO!!! I doubt Maynard James will be with them though.

13. KickAssDuke writes:

Yea but is Green Jelly playing the whole tour? I think they are just doing the LA show.

14. tokenchoke420 writes:

Whitechapel at Warped Tour, really?!? They kicked a$$ at Mayhem last year and they get rewarded by moving on to Warped Tour...

15. deathfan87 writes:

yeah pretty worthless lineup except for green jello and whitechapel, andrew wk might be a pretty interesting show too

16. Stephyy<;3'sHayden writes:

going to GA, i'm stoked to see BMTH:]]

17. n0thinghead writes:

i'm going to the west palm beach show. only ones i even care about r andrew w.k. (would b amazing and interesting) every time i die is fun live (even tho i rlly don't like them tho) and in fear and faith and the word alive (i actually like and r good). i'm just down rite disgusted at how much gay-core is there, especially deathcore >;.>; last yr (my 1st warped tour) was amazing =\ senses fail, saosin, a day to remember, escape the fate, alexisonfire, scary kids scaring kids (saw them again to the last time last nite) and all that there was missing was august burns red. whatever, i'm still going this yr. not many festivals down here in florida soo i just go to warped tour and mayhem fest every yr.

18. tokenchoke420 writes:

nothinghead: what area in FL you from? I live in Chicago but just got back from Fort Myers Beach... I do feel bad for the lack of shows you get down there.

19. EsotericSurgery writes:

#17, just go into the pit when BMTH comes on and smash all the little emo's who think they know what a real pit is. lol

20. LoomeyTunes writes:

Why is Warped Tour turning into "Ozzfest and Mayhem" and Mayhem and Ozzfest is turning into Warped Tour WTF. Going for sure July '02, that place is the greatest place to see concerts. Only outdoor show I have ever been to where you can go inside and sit at a bar IN A/C.

21. METAL213 writes:

Blabbermouth.net already posted this sh** like a month ago. Still it's good to read about it again. Really looking forward to Suicide Silence and Whitechapel. Every Time I Die isn't too good on record but they usually put on a good energetic live show the two times I've seen em. The best part is that I'm seeing it in the same venue where I'll be seeing Mayhem Fest the day before. I'm gonna be a tired deaf mess after those two days. STAY METAL MY FRIENDS! Now Playing: "The Art of Balance" by Shadows Fall

22. RTB writes:

Bruno....uhhhhhhhh, not bad, its hard for me to get into comedy metal, but not too bad, they got some cool riffs....my brother's into circus of dead squirrels, or some wack name like that...he bumps that sh!t all the time....... ^213 BM suxs...MU and metal sucks are tons better

23. BrunoHockalugie writes:

Yeah, what can I say when they released Cereal Killer I was 10 or so. They got me into metal. I will always love this band, haha. Never heard of that band you mentioned, I will check them out.

24. BrunoHockalugie writes:

KissAssDuke- They are playing the west coast stops- Washington, Oregon, and California.

25. ORMETA writes:

WOW...Warped Tour gets suckier every year. Hoping this years Ozzfest aint sh**ty.

26. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

Seriously I don't know how anybody could be stoked on this lineup, your all f***ed!! This tour used to be a pretty decent punk rock festival and now its all this sh**ty breakdown deathcore crap, what the f***? I remember when Rancid and NOFX ruled this tour and there's Bring Me The Horizon and Suicide Silence, maybe the world is gonna end in 2012.

27. xsrg13 writes:

haha cudos to paul, f*** you bruce your so right on that.

28. bradispissed writes:

OMG! OMG! I'd rather watch the movie captain ron and then f*** my dad then go see this horsesh**. is horsesh** one word? i hope my dad doesn't actually read this or he might take me up on that offer...i'm hungry

29. fireflyz writes:

id rather slice my own wrists than go to this tour, when did warped tour go from sh**ty pop-punk to sh**ty deathcore?

30. CoHace writes:

Pretty sh**ty line-up again, Suicide Silence and White Chapel LOL

31. booyakasha writes:

fireflyz, slit your wrists then fa**ot

32. n0thinghead writes:

cudos to paul: RITE on the money man!! \m/

esoteric surgery: LOL!! i will do just that just for u my friend, even tho i haven't moshed in over a yr of concerts now, kuz i love crowd surfing. we both seem to agree on alotta odd views bro. \m/

tokenchoke: i'm actually IN miami, a smaller city called hialeah, where all the cuban refugees (AKA refs) come to live after floating on a car door for days in the ocean in hopes for a better life lol thus y i'm cuban-american (born here soo i'm american but with cuban fam), i have to tell u this soo that u understand where i live and wtf i'm surround with. sadly it's NOTHING but rap, hip hop, pop, dance, reggae, and latin music, and just in case ur wonder, NO i do NOT even LOOK hispanic, mexican, cuban, or any other shade of brown lol i'm rlly white and light hazel eyed. for miami, there's actually quite a few metalheads but we don't get out much (but ironically i do) soo i don't have many metalhead friends, to go with to these concerts. soo whenever u (or anyone else here at MU) come down to south florida for any concerts/events or anything rlly, try to contact me bro (check my profile for my info).

33. n0thinghead writes:

^^^ pardon the long post my brothers. i shall go forth and ask for forgiveness from the almighty Odin \m/

34. RTB writes:

31^lmao.....no offence FF ^brad, jesus christ it aint that bad..lol World aint gonna end in 2012, stop scaring everyone, aint no deathstar out there thats gonna blow us up, no matter what the mayans say...everyone keep drinkin

35. n0thinghead writes:

^^^ RTB for president in 2012!! his campaign slogan, "World aint gonna end in 2012, stop scaring everyone, aint no deathstar out there thats gonna blow us up, no matter what the mayans say...everyone keep drinkin." RTB, always looking forward, nvr wondering WTF happened last nite... or where his pants are \m/

36. RTB writes:

NH you can be the VP Blindgreed can be incharge of alcohol and fire arms, branded 420 can be secretary of state, and brunohocksaloogie can be in charge of arrainging white house parties, aka metalshows on the whitehouse lawn.. In seriousness i get a kick out of when i see the worlds gonna end dates...what happend in 2000? Have a good one NH

37. n0thinghead writes:

38. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

Dude I really don't think the world is gonna end in 2012, that comment was sarcasm based on the ever declining dignity of the warped tour. Nostradamus was full of sh** (seriously his quatrains make almost no sense I don't know why people take him so seriously), and if the mayans could predict the end of the world how come they didn't see the spanish coming and destroying their whole civilization and turning them into latinos.

39. RTB writes:

^its schtick pauly.....i get your point, but you gotta laugh every now and then..... Although if this planet blows to hell in 2012 ill remember this conversation..\m/

40. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

41. n0thinghead writes:

i say if the world's gonna end in 2012 then let's go out with a bang. idk how but somehow we should create one last amazingly epic a$$ metal show. the ppl in charge should all only put together solely actual metal bands all in one show, and of course, alotta other metal bands requested by the audience, but only if they bought a ticket. u buy a ticket, u get to choose one band and u get one free beer, along with a "i rocked out on 2012 \m/" t-shirt. and there will b a special guest appearance by president RTB himself!!

42. RTB writes:

Itll be in the VPs home state of florida, who will also be the mc of this megafest...as long as six feet under coheadline your charge NH....just dont go d!ck cheaney on me and accidentally shoot yourself or have a freak accident and miss it ....\m/

43. n0thinghead writes:

naw, i'll just go d*** cheaney and shoot someone else and have them apologize to me for getting in the way of me shooting a quail lol and if this megafest would b in florida, not only would florida finally get one amazing metal show, but it'll b flooded with actual real metalheads!! bring it on RTB \m/

44. bradispissed writes:

oh i'm telling you it's that bad.

it's like going through high school with the nickname quills because everybody knows that when you were 12 you got lost in the woods and were raped by a rapid pack of porcupines. then you had to get a porcupine abortion but legislation outlawed abortion in your state. so you had to see a back alley abortionist who ripped on you the whole time for being f***ed by 17 8 inch creatures. then your parents disown you because you didn't save yourself for marraige and you spend years in therapy trying to forget how painful that summer was...

that's a day at the warped tour

45. dariobarahona writes:

thats for F#cking emo kids who think they are hardcore!

46. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

Damn brad, i wouldn't say the warped tour is that bad, Skafest on the other hand.............f***!!!

47. n0thinghead writes:

bradisp***ed: ROFLMAO!!! now THAT was by far the most f***ing amazing (but inaccurate) analogy. ever. lol

cudos to paul: EXACTLY!!! \m/

48. bradispissed writes:

high school was hell

49. n0thinghead writes:

high skool was br00tal

50. deathfreak writes:

Im still kinda p***ed. What happened to punk bands like rancid, band religion, pennywise. What the hell Its suposed to be a Punk tour not a deathcore/metalcore tour. The only band worth anything is Green Jelly.

51. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

^Exactly my point dude, i remember one year a while back they had NoFX, the Casualties, Dropkick Murphys, Swingin' Utters, and the Circle Jerks on the tour. Now thats what this tour should be like but no, Haste the Day, Parkway Drive, Suicide Silence, Iwrestledabearonce, f***in' ridiculous man. Anyone goin' this year is definitely NOT a punk-rocker or anyone cool.

52. n0thinghead writes:

^^^ i'm going. i'm not a punk rocker. sure. but i'm NOT "anyone cool"?? my mommy said i was >;.>;

53. BodomBeach writes:

54. deathbringer writes:

A lot of these bands named are still on the tour. I didn't go into listing the entire lineup because most aren't relevant to metalheads. But you can click the link in the article to see the entire lineup.

55. CoHace writes:

BB: I piss on BMTH, im glad theres many others who share my view ;)

56. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

Yeah so they do have Agent Orange, The Casualties, Dropkicks and the Flatliners, those are about the only good bands there though. n0thinghead, if you ain't a punk-rocker I strongly suggest you check out the Casualties when you are there, then you will be cool.

57. deathfreak writes:

Angrey samoans, call the cops, death punch, d***ies are not bad either but most of the bands are not even punk.

58. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

^are those bands you mentioned kinda punk rock? they worth checkin' out or no?

59. n0thinghead writes:

cudos to paul: casualties r a pretty kickass looking bunch. i love all of the members' hair lol i would absolutely LOVE chaos spikes, or smaller ones, but i can't. damn my distance black origin. i'll check them out when i'm there of course. not like i'll have anything else better to do, maybe play with my iPhone or something. idk.

60. cudos to paul, fuck you bruce writes:

^Good on ya dude, their a lot better than they look.

61. n0thinghead writes:

BB: i'm gonna take with me a lil surprise in my pants for bring me the horizon and we won't have to b hearing anything from them again ;) and it aint just my big hispanic heritage p***s.

62. BodomBeach writes:

nh: hahahaha thank you...you will be fulfilling my all time dream! :D

63. deathfreak writes:

cudos to paul, f*** you bruce Yea call the cops and angrey samoansa punkish. The d***ies are one of the first and longest surviving California punk bands.

Warped Tour 2010 Bands Announced

The Bands Scheduled to Play the Full Vans Warped Tour

No matter which date you catch, you can catch these bands

  • Alternative Music
  • Classical Music
  • Country Music
  • Rap & Hip Hop
  • Rhythm & Blues
  • World Music
  • Heavy Metal
  • Latin Music

With so many bands assembled for this year’s Warped Tour, but not all of them scheduled to appear at every date, it gets tough to figure out who’s going to playing on your specific city.

The bands listed below are currently scheduled to appear on the entire 2010 Vans Warped Tour, so this is a good place to start figuring out exactly who to look forward to

After Midnight Project (Los Angeles, CA) – Fronted by Jason Evigan, the son of actor Greg Evigan, this rock band has performing in its blood. As a result, they are known for their energetic live sets that connect with the crowd. (Official Site)

Alesana (Raleigh, NC) – This screamo band is no newcomer to the Warped Tour, so if you’ve attended before, you know what you’re in for. If you’ve not heard them before, expect metal riffs and vocals roughly harmonized with screaming. Lots of screaming. If screaming is your thing, these guys are on the top of their game. (MySpace Site)

Alkaline Trio (Chicago, IL) – A band known for smart songwriting and a great sound in their early days, before blatant pandering left them a shell of their former awesome selves. Their latest release on Epitaph Records, This Addiction shows a band beginning to reclaim their former glory. (Official Site)

AM Taxi (Chicago, IL) – If the Gaslight Anthem are punk rock's take on Springsteen, then Chicago’s AM Taxi are punk rock's take on Gaslight Anthem. Mixing great songwriting with elements of old-school punk with influences like Clash-fueled reggae, world beat and pure pop, this is a band poised to be one of the most exciting, innovative bands on the tour. (MySpace Site)

Anarbor (Phoenix, AZ) – This pop rock band has attained more success than many realize. Despite a relatively low profile, their music has appeared on multiple TV and movie scores, and is a regular part of ESPN’s Sports Center . They did a few dates on the Warped Tour last year, and a longer runs this year might symbolize that now that the band is successful, they’re pushing to be famous as well. (Official Site)

Andrew W.K. (New York, NY) – A classically trained musician, Andrew W.K. may not have invented the “party hard” punk rock sound but he certainly perfected it. Although recent years have seen him doing TV and producing records, I’m hoping his return to the stage of Warped will be similar to his last time on its mainstage, which was a supersoaker-fueled rager of positive energy. This guy comes to party, and doesn’t leave until everyone is partied out. (Official Site)

Artist Vs Poet – (Dallas, TX) This powerpop band has grabbed the attention of both Fearless Records and the Warped Tour based on their solid songwriting and DIY attitude. The product of the dissolution of a few other bands, Artist Vs Poet wield catchy beats and infectious melodies on their four-song EP, with a full-length due this spring. (MySpace Site)

Attack Attack (Columbus, OH) – One can’t help but be intrigues by this band from Ohio, which will deliver heavy metal riffs and grotesquely screamed vocals at one moment, and electronic danceability the second. Live, I’m thinking it will either be impressive, or impressively hilarious. (MySpace Site)

Automatic Loveletter (Tampa, FL) – Fronted by Juliet Sims (who has lent vocals to songs by Cartel, Secondhand Serenade and All Time Low), this heavily acoustic combo will bring a soothing influence to whatever stage they’re on. (MySpace Site)

Breathe Carolina (Denver, CO) – Another band playing the odd combo of screamo and electronic, these kids from Colorado mix layered dance music with the occasional power scream. The full package is pure electrofun, and upbeat even when the lyrics are about boys with broken hearts. (MySpace Site)

Breathe Electric (Lake County, IL) – This electropop outfit is just Grant Harris in the studio, but expands to a three-piece when he takes it on the road. Drawing influence from pop, electronica, hip hop, and indie rock, Breathe Electric is often compared to bands like Hellogoodbye and PlayRadioPlay. (MySpace Site)

Bring Me The Horizon (Sheffield, England) – This British band fuses death metal and hardcore into a conglomeration that’s been referred to as deathcore. Whatever you want to call it, it’s intense and heavy, grabbing this band accolades and nominations as both the best and worst band in the UK. (MySpace Site)

The Cab (Las Vegas, NV) – Made up of four kids barely out of high school, this powerpop group that boasts an impressive list of associated acts. They’ve toured with bands like Panic! at the Disco, Cobra Starship and Forever the Sickest Kids and recorded with members of Panic! and Fall Out Boy - odds are, you’re in for a slick set from a band poised to blow up. (Official Site)

The Casualties (New York City, NY) – A solid presence on the punk scene for over a decade and an unapologetic adherence to the principles of old school street punk makes the Casualties one of the best – and the punkest – picks for this years Warped Tour. Their set will be fast, loud and memorable. (MySpace Site)

Closure in Moscow (Melbourne, Australia) – A prog/psychedelic group from Down Under, Closure in Moscow has been heavily compared to other posthardcore prog bands like Coheed & Cambria and Saosin. Allusions to forefathers like King Crimson are not off base, either, as they pick up the old sounds and make them their own - without screaming, a plus in my book. (MySpace Site)

Confide (Los Angeles, California) – This Christian post-hardcore band started as a deathcore band in 2004, but multiple lineup changes have left the band with only one original member and a slant that’s decidedly more screamo. If you catch their set, listen for their cover of the Postal’ Service’s "Such Great Heights,” which while much heavier than the original obviously, begs the question of whether it really needed to be done. (MySpace Site)

The Dillinger Escape Plan (Morris Plains, NJ) – A “mathcore” band out of New Jersey, Dillinger Escape Plan combines complex riffs and growled vocals into an aggressive wall of sound. What’s more impressive than their music, though, is their live show. Expect… well expect anything, and be prepared for some furious energy and quite possibly frontman Greg Puciato flying over – or stepping on – your head. (MySpace Site)

Emarosa (Lexington, KY) – With the addition of frontman Jonny Craig (of Dance Gavin Dance) in 2007, this band moved away from screamo and more toward the melodic post-hardcore they’re best known for. Fresh out of the studio for the Warped Tour, expect new material and booming riffs. ( MySpace Site )

Emmure (New Fairfield, CT) – If you want some metal at the Warped Tour this year, you’re not going to find one more metal than these guys. Emmure will be bringing its combination of heavy issues and heavier music, and even if you don’t know what they’re talking about, you’ll fit right in as long as you can bang your head. ( MySpace Site )

Eyes Set To Kill (Phoenix, AZ) – This female-fronted post-hardcore band features the melodic vocals of guitarist Alexia Rodriguez, and her sister Anissa on bass. Whether it’s the female influence or simple musical talent, the band employs harmonies much more hypnotic and complex than a lot of the standard fare. ( MySpace Site )

Face To Face (Victorville, CA) – These skate-punk playing Fat Wreck Chords veterans were a staple in every proper punk’s record collection, and their breakup in 2003 was a sad day indeed. A few years later, 2008 saw the joyful reunion of these heavyhitters, and the entire Warped Tour this year will be privy to a set from a band that has attained legendary status. ( Official Site )

Fake Problems (Naples, Florida) – Mixing mandolin, violin, steel guitar and horns into the standard punk sound, Fake Problems drops more than a little folksiness and country twang into their sound, along with smart songwriting. ( Official Site )

Far From Finished (Boston, MA) - If you’re lamenting the lack of the Street Dogs on this year’s Warped Tour, check out Far From Finished. These guys carry the Boston streetpunk banner just as high and as proudly as their more well known peers. ( Myspace Site )

Fight Fair (San Diego, CA) – Adding to the pop punk roster this year is this group. Their debut full-length is due in 2010, but based on their previous EPs, we’re in for plenty of upbeat pop punk beats in the same vein of bands like Bowling For Soup. ( MySpace Site )

Gardening, Not Architecture (Los Angeles, CA) A collaboration between singer/songwriter Sarah Saturday and producer Beau Sorenson, Gardening, Not Architure is a fuzzy ethereal dreampop band. Originally intended as a studio-only project, the duo put together a live show due to public demand. Fans of old dreampop bands like Cure are really in for a treat when this band brings a sound to the stage that has been woefully neglected in recent years.

Hey Monday (West Palm Beach, FL) – Fresh-faced musicians, female vocals and a wholesome sound make these kids more power pop than pop punk. Could this be the next Paramore? If so, do we need another Paramore? (Official Site)

I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business (Hammonton, NJ) – The side project of former Early November frontman Ace Enders, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business is a blend of mellow, artfully crafted folk and ambient sounds. (MySpace Site)

In Fear and Faith (Sand Diego, CA) – Yet another band with regular and screamed vocals, In Fear and Faith sets itself apart from the other bands by playing music heavy enough that the singing parts are the ones more out of place. ( MySpace Site )

Left Alone (Wilmington, CA) – Another one of the “true” punk bands on this year’s roster, Left Alone is a band that got their start as the Warped Tour BBQ Band in 2004 and 2005. This time the band that plays a mix of three-chord punk, ska and a hint of twang will be doing Warped without having to cook their way through. MySpace Site

Mayday Parade (Tallahassee, FL) – A recent addition to Atlantic Records, this is their third year with Warped. They boast an emo-pop sound that is slick, polished and emotional, if not overly deep. (Official Site)

NeverShoutNever! (Joplin, MO) - The alias of acoustic/pop artist Christofer Drew, NeverShoutNever! will be bringing syrupy sweet acoustic pop love songs to the Warped stages again this summer. He’s up for a challenge - can his sound can cut through the cynicism and louder preferences of the typical Warped tour attendee? (MySpace Site)

Of Mice and Men (Costa Mesa, CA) – Founded by original Attack Attack frontman Austin Carlile, Of Mice and Men already have a buzz surrounding them. They play the tight, fast post-hardcore that has become a Warped standard. (MySpace Site)

Parkway Drive (Byron Bay, Australia) – Adding to this year’s international contingent is this metal outfit with solid hardcore roots. Blistering guitars and guttural vocals have captured this band a solid following Down Under, and their sound should fare as well in the States. (MySpace Site)

Pierce The Veil (San Diego, CA) – A prog/post-hardcore band formed by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes (who are also members of the supergroup Isles & Glaciers with Craig Owens of Chiodos and Jonny Craig of Emarosa), Pierce The Veil are Warped and Taste of Chaos veterans. Their sound is complex and convoluted, an all-over-the-place amalgam that’s hard not to find good – and bad – elements in. (MySpace Site)

Mike Posner (Southfield, MI) – He’s a singer/songwriter/producer who’s collaborated with Big Sean and 3OH!3, and at the risk of sounding elitist, I think I may have him pegged as the one musician who doesn’t fit into the scope of the Warped Tour at all. (MySpace Site)

The Pretty Reckless (New York, NY) – If you’re looking for a celebrity on the Warped Tour stage, The Pretty Reckless set will be the one to catch. The band is fronted by one Taylor Momsen, better know for playing Jenny Humphrey on the CW televeision series Gossip Girl . It’s more than gimmick, though, as The Pretty Reckless plays raw, dirty rock that picks up where the grunge bands of the ‘90s left off. (MySpace Site)

The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band (Indianapolis, IN) – They only have three members, but the misnomer is easy to overlook once you hear their music, a frantic version of Delta Blues (complete with washboard) that has landed the band slots touring with Flogging Molly, a slot on Springer and now a run on Warped. (MySpace Site)

Riverboat Gamblers (Denton, TX) – One of the most energetic live shows I’ve ever seen, Riverboat Gamblers frontman Mike Wiebe is known for spending as much time in the crowd and climbing the walls as he does onstage. This tour should include a fully-recovered Ian MacDougall, the guitarist hit by a car in 2009. (Official Site)

The Rocket Summer (Dallas/Fort Worth, TX) – This indiepop outfit is the brainchild of Stephen Bryce Avary, a guy who writes, plays and produces every note on his albums. On the road he has a band, but his vision of upbeat, melodic, indie rhythms should carry through just fine. (Official Site)

Set Your Goals (Orinda, CA) – Meshing pop punk with melodic hardcore, Set Your Goals is a band that fits well on the Epitaph label. Their positive hardcore sounds conjure up elements of Lifetime and Save The Day, but their delivery is very fresh. (MySpace Site)

The Sparring (Orange County, CA) – Fronted by former Tiger Army drummer Joel Bourne, the Sparring are a band that delivers a reeling mass of street punk straight from the speakers to your head, not apologizing if it knocks you down. (MySpace Site)

Suicide Silence (Riverside, CA) - Suicide Silence is metal. When I say they’re metal, I mean they’re metal in that style of psychotically heavy guitars and incoherently gutturally growled vocals that makes you say “whoah, that’s metal.” (Official Site)

Sum 41 (Ajax, ON) – Since 2001's “Fat Lip,” these guys have managed to become a pretty familiar name on the scene. This is the band’s 4th time on Warped, and they always deliver a high-intensity set. (Official Site)

The Summer Set (Scottsdale, AZ) – More of the powerpop sound that's heavy on the Warped Tour, the Summer Set plays upbeat love songs heavily loaded with pop hooks and messy haircuts. (MySpace Site)

VersaEmerge (Port St. Lucie, Florida) - Fronted by Sierra Kusterbeck, this experimental pop-rock band often gets lumped in with Paramore. This does a disservice to the band’s thick rhythm sections topped by massive guitar hooks, and eventually everyone is going to realize this is the more complex of the two. (MySpace Site)

We Are The In Crowd (Poughkeepsie, NY) – This will most likely be one of those flash-in-the-pan pop outfits, even with a contract and a song on The Hills . Musically, they play upbeat pop, light on substance. (MySpace Site)

We The Kings (Bradenton, FL) – The most awesome part of this band is the fact that they share a record label from Tom Jones. Aside from the sheer awesomeness of that, they play upbeat pop punk that isn’t too terrible, but skews to a younger demo. (MySpace Site)

Whitechapel (Knoxville, TN) – Named for the location of the Jack the Ripper murders, this very easily could have been the music that Jack would have listened to, had he had an iPod. Whitechapel’s proficiency with brutal death metal has landed them tours with bands ranging from Parkway Drive to Cannibal Corpse – and I think I have pretty good guess which one they got along better with. (MySpace Site)

You Me At Six (Weybridge, England) – A fan favorite in the UK, You Me At Six have a perfect grasp of a sound that blends pop punk hooks with a bit of new wave energy. The kids like them on their side of the pond, and they’ll probably fare well stateside as well. (MySpace Site)

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Over 20 years, countless bands have played parking lots to amphitheaters on the Vans Warped Tour.

For much of that time, Warped has carried the torch for traveling rock festivals. Though, all good things must come to an end.

In honor of this year being the final for the Warped Tour, we look at the 75 acts that made it so hard to say goodbye.

1. Paramore

Paramore is a Warped Tour success story. The band started at the small female-fronted Shiragirl stage in 2005 with its first-ever tour and grew to become one of the biggest headliners in its subsequent five Warped Tour performances.

Paramore’s sound has undoubtedly changed over the years, but some of its most iconic releases (2005’s “All We Know Is Falling,” 2007’s “Riot!” and 2009’s “Brand New Eyes”) all arrive during the band’s punky Warped Tour years.

Sum 41 has a unique Warped Tour. At its peak, the band was one of the most popular acts on the tour. Then things fell apart. But Sum 41's comeback has been staged on the tour the past few years, which has been great to see.

8. Motion City Soundtrack

14. Reel Big Fish

It’s hard not to dance at a Reel Big Fish show. The ska-punk band’s infectious, horn-driven sound fits right in with Warped Tour’s punky roots.

It's okay if you've never heard of CIV. Just know they've influenced a ton of punk acts and played Warped three of its first five years.

warped tour 2010 bands

16. Bowling For Soup

Angsty kids had a soundtrack with Bowling For Soup in the 1990s. Songs like “1985,” “High School Never Ends” and “Girl All The Bad Guys Want” are humorous reminders of the rebellious days of ‘90s kids. The band has continued to play Warped Tour past its heyday, performing throwback tunes for eager fans.

17. Face to Face

Another early Warped pioneer, Face to Face played two of the first three years of the festival. And the California punk band was a solid draw during that time thanks to its hit "Disconnected."

19. Silverstein

warped tour 2010 bands

20. Katy Perry

Katy Perry played Warped Tour just one year -- 2008. But she made quite the impact. With her single "I Kissed a Girl" No. 1 on the charts, Perry routinely drew the biggest crowds. Another fact: She was dating Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy at the time and he would carry her out on stage.

21. Motionless In White

Goth kids can rock, too. And Motionless In White has long catered to the audience members wearing all black on a hot summer day. The gothic metal band has played its heavy, dark music on Warped Tour nine different times.

warped tour 2010 bands

23. The Used

There was a stretch where the emo/screamo sound of The Used was as good a draw as any act on Warped Tour. The band's early albums remain essential parts of canon.

24. The Ataris

The Ataris became the true boys of summer the six times they played Warped Tour. The emo pop band formed in 1996, but continues to tour today (and even played Warped last summer).

warped tour 2010 bands

25. Green Day

What a treat it was to have Green Day, the band that feels like the godfather of every Warped act, on the tour in 2000.

warped tour 2010 bands

26. Mayday Parade

Emo rock band Mayday Parade are on Warped Tour’s lineup again for 2018, and it’ll be the seventh time it has played the fest. Fans always eagerly await the band’s best-known hits like “Jamie All Over,” “Miserable At Best” and “Terrible Things.”

From the late 1990s to early 2000s, MxPx spent every other year on the Warped Tour, making itself at home and adding to the tour's skate-punk vibe.

warped tour 2010 bands

28. Avenged Sevenfold

Charles Sykes

29. Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy played Warped Tour twice, in 2004 and 2005, before it grew too large for the fest. The band’s 2005 album “From Under The Cork Tree” started snowballing fame for Fall Out Boy that continues today, creating top hits that have crossed over into mainstream success.

warped tour 2010 bands

Scott Gries

Before Eminem took the world by storm, he played Warped Tour. Yes, you read that right. The Real Slim Shady drew massive crowds in 1999. He would soon get too big to ever return.

warped tour 2010 bands

31. Good Charlotte

Brothers Joel and Benji Madden have led Good Charlotte into pop-punk stardom since its formation in 1996. The band only played Warped Tour four times, but often led the fest in high headlining spots.

32. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Thanks to bands like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Warped Tour always had a diverse feel to it. It wasn't just about post-hardcore or pop punk, giving ska rockers the chance to shine as well.

warped tour 2010 bands

33. Chiodos

Chiodos were one of the defining bands of the pop-screamo subgenre, and it mashed together the energetic, melodic rhythms of emo pop, with vocalist Craig Owens’ hellish screams bringing a heavier element. The result: prime tunes for Warped Tour mosh pits.

warped tour 2010 bands

Duane Prokop

34. A Day to Remember

Warped Tour can be a rowdy day, and that’s especially true with A Day To Remember. The metalcore band had a way of riling up its audience all five times it played the festival.

warped tour 2010 bands

35. Dropkick Murphys

Infusing traditional Celtic songs with punk rock, Dropkick Murphys added some flavor to Warped Tour’s lineup the five times it participated.

warped tour 2010 bands

36. We The Kings

Songs like “Check Yes, Juliet” and “Skyway Avenue” are basically Warped Tour anthems. That’s because We The Kings’ infectious, upbeat energy were a fixture in seven different tours.

warped tour 2010 bands

Chung Sung-Jun

37. Story of the Year

Story of the Year spent most of its time on Warped Tour in the early 2000s, establishing itself as a star of the lineup. The band had just released its hit songs like “Until The Day I Die,” “Anthem Of Our Dying Day” and “And The Hero Will Drown.”

warped tour 2010 bands

38. The Maine

The Maine formed in 2007, but its first big step into the alternative rock scene was with the 2008 and 2009 Warped Tours. The band released its first album, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” in 2008, and has gone on to release five more successful albums since then.

39. The All-American Rejects

Only a handful of Warped Tour acts have been crossover success in the mainstream music world, and The All-American Rejects are one of them. The band’s songs “Dirty Little Secret,” “It Ends Tonight” and “Move Along” all became famous after its time on Warped Tour.

warped tour 2010 bands

40. Sleeping With Sirens

Kellin Quinn, the singer of Sleeping With Sirens, is one of the most talented voices in emo rock, with soaring vocals and scratchy growls. He debuted on Warped Tour in 2012, just a couple of years after forming Sleeping With Sirens, and played the fest for five years straight until 2016.

warped tour 2010 bands

Peter Kramer

Anytime Thrice was on Warped Tour, the band was a big draw. It's complex style brought solid musicianship to the tour and allowed fans to watch the evolution of a band that wasn't afraid to switch things up.

warped tour 2010 bands

42. Taking Back Sunday

When emo music started to rise up in the 2000s, Taking Back Sunday was one of the most popular bands. Songs like “MakeDamnSure,” “Liar” and “Cute Without The ‘E’” helped to define the genre, and also to define Warped Tour’s distinct sound.

43. Sublime

Sublime co-headlined the second Warped Tour, which was the first time the tour went full-on coast to coast. The band quickly earned a reputation for its naughty behavior, but remained a huge draw.

A mainstay int he West Coast punk rock scene of the early 1990s, Fluf supported Warped during two of the the first three years and helped shape the pop-punk sound.

warped tour 2010 bands

45. Black Veil Brides

Originally, Black Veil Brides rocked out with big hair, black makeup and tight black outfits, bringing a throwback glam metal vibe to metal music. Over the years, the band has toned down its style a bit, but continued to release heavy, dark music that’s a hit at Warped.

warped tour 2010 bands

46. Every Time I Die

Since the early 2000s, Every Time I Die has been involved in mini Warped Tour shows. But it wasn’t until 2006 that the band took on a full summer of intense concerts. Since then, the band has played Warped Tour regularly, and is currently on the final fest tour.

warped tour 2010 bands

47. The Starting Line

One of the most beloved pop-punk acts of all time, The Starting Line played Warped four times during the band's peak period.

warped tour 2010 bands

Barry Brecheisen

L7 gave girl-rock a face during Warped's early years, helping set the stage for future acts like Paramore and New Years Day.

warped tour 2010 bands

49. Senses Fail

Senses Fail has played Warped Tour six different times, and the lineup was different many of those times. Yet, despite the turbulence in the band, singer Buddy Nielsen always put on a show, leaping around on the stage with endless energy.

50. No Doubt

It can be hard for a tour to get big acts early on. Fortunately, No Doubt hadn't quite blown up when it played the festival. Gwen Stefani and company would return in 2000 for just one show.

51. Pierce The Veil

Over a decade ago, Pierce The Veil burst onto the emo rock scene, and moved its way up the ranks in Warped Tour. The band started off by playing just one date in 2007, then ended up on the fest’s main stage for the full tour in 2012.

52. Sick of It All

Hardcore rock band Sick of It All played Warped early on but didn't forget its roots. The band returned last year for a standout run.

53. My Chemical Romance

Many Warped Tour fans were hoping My Chemical Romance would reunite to play 2018’s festival. Unfortunately the band, which broke up in 2013, isn’t getting back together any time soon. Yet, MCR’s two performances on Warped Tour were impressionable enough to leave fans begging for more.

54. New Year's Day

When it comes to fans, New Years Day beats a lot of other Warped acts. The band’s fans go all-out with a massive crowd wearing mostly black. At Warped, girls and women can also be seen rocking the half-red, half-black hair pattern made famous by singer Ash Costello.

55. Gym Class Heroes

Gym Class Heroes scored a series of hits in the 2000s and played them live at Warped, giving the tour a steady hip-hop presence.

56. Quicksand

Post-hardcore act Quicksand served as one of the standouts on the first Warped Tour. However, the long trek proved too much for the band who wound up breaking up soon after.

57. Falling In Reverse

Bad-boy singer Ronnie Radke has been in the public eye for several run-ins with the law, at one point serving over two years in prison. That was where he started working on Falling In Reverse, a band that’s played Warped Tour a total of six times and has garnered one of the biggest fanbases of modern metalcore music.

59. Something Corporate

Fronted by pianist and singer Andrew McMahon, Something Corporate put out poppy rock songs that pumped up the crowd all three times the band played Warped Tour. The band was only around regularly for six years, until McMahon continued on with his other band Jack’s Mannequin.

61. Dillinger Escape Plan

Don't sleep on metal at Warped Tour. Bands like Dillinger Escape plan have brought their complex mathcore to Warped multiple times.

62. No Use For Name

As one of the most seasoned acts on Warped Tour during the 20th century, No Use For a Name transitioned from hardcore punk to a more melodic sound over the years.

As one of the essential punk rock acts of the 1990s, you knew Rancid would make this list. Tim Armstrong and his trademark guitar joined the tour just three times. But each run was memorable.

64. The Vandals

The Vandals are best known as one of the first rock bands to incorporate turntables into its sound. The band was a steady force on Warped Tour during its peak.

65. Bouncing Souls

Bouncing Souls doesn't get enough credit for its influence on various punk genres 1990s. But anyone who saw the band during at least one of its six Warped appearances knows just how good they were.

66. Coheed and Cambria

Coheed and Cambria played Warped three times. But each time the band stood out. Coheed's technical musicianship was unlike anything else at Warped but its bouncy collection of hits was enough to draw impressive crowds.

67. Plain White T's

69. Saves the Day

Saves The Day formed while singer and guitarist Chris Conley was still in high school, but the band’s sound quickly matured in the form of two full-length albums in the late 1990s. The band’s unique hardcore sound propelled them onto Warped Tour three different times in the festival’s history.

72. Four Year Strong

Four Year Strong? More like 17 years strong at this point. The post-hardcore band puts out intense, aggressive music that gets mosh pits going at Warped Tour. Four Year Strong has played the festival six times, including this current summer.

73. Neck Deep

Neck Deep has played a huge role in the more recent pop-punk revival, creating popular albums since 2012’s “Rain In July.” It’s brought that refreshed sound to Warped Tour four different times with massive audiences full of fans.

74. Rise Against

No stranger to any kind of rock showcase, Rise Against's brand of melodic hardcore felt at home all four times the band hit the stage at Warped.

75. Bayside

Bayside has a knack for putting out the catchiest punk and emo songs, like “Sick, Sick, Sick” and “Devotion And Desire.” Those songs proved popular with the Warped Tour crowd—Bayside went on Warped Tour four different times, and frontman Anthony Raneri played the fest one additional time as a solo artist.
