Boston College Tour & Vacation Itinerary

As the home of 35 colleges and universities, Boston is a magnet for those on the college touring circuit. We’ve outlined a four-day itinerary with some of the most frequently requested schools, but there are plenty of others to consider. We suggest staying in the Back Bay area of the city, which makes a great home base for exploration. Many sites are walkable from here, but Boston’s subway, known as the T, is an easy way to get around.

Be sure to give ample focus to the fun aspects of the trip. Days with your soon-to-be college student are dwindling, so try to make this as much of a chance to savor your time together as to identify next steps. More tips about timing, general pace and how to approach college touring can be found in our New York-area edition , the first in this series.

Boston College Tour Vacation Ideas

Northeastern University is a private research university founded in 1898. It is extremely well located, a stone’s throw from Back Bay, and makes a great place to start. Northeastern is known for its strong co-op program that integrates classroom knowledge with professional experience.  Look for the tunnel system that connects some of the major academic buildings for use during inclement weather. Without making it a big issue, this is a way to get a feel for your student’s take on attending school in an area where cold weather is definitely a factor.

For lunch, try local institution Chicken Lou’s. Word on the street is that you should try a TKO: baked chicken, melted Swiss, bacon and honey mustard.

In the afternoon, explore the area around Boston Common. An excellent option is the Freedom Trail, a 2 1/2-mile journey that connects 16 historically significant sites related to the American Revolution. Either opt for a 90-minute tour or explore on your own; keep an eye out for the signature red line connecting each stop.

If you still have energy to burn, head out on a sunset kayaking tour through Paddle Boston on the nearby Charles River. You’ll be treated to fabulous views of the area and glimpses of many local schools.

Commonly called BU, Boston University is a private school situated along the Charles River in the Fenway-Kenmore and Allston neighborhoods. BU boasts a tremendous number of noted alumni — Alexander Graham Bell even invented the telephone in a BU lab. The school serves more 30,000 students and the Boston University Terriers compete in NCAA Division I sports.

For lunch, try Mei Mei. This creative Chinese spot started as a food truck and after gaining popularity, established a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Or go healthy and try By Chloe for creative vegan food.

In the afternoon, explore the Back Bay neighborhood and Copley Place. Window shop along Newbury Street with its trendy stores and art galleries. Keep an eye out for artisanal doughnut shop Blackbird if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Tonight, take in a Boston Red Sox game or a tour of Fenway Park. Known as “America’s favorite ball park” and home to the Green Monstah, Fenway is an iconic outing. Try a brown butter lobster roll at Eventide Fenway or look for the Green Monstah ice cream sandwich from the Cookie Monstah truck.

Next up is Boston College . This private Jesuit school in Chestnut Hill is nicknamed “The Heights” because of its hilltop location. Explore the campus and then have lunch at student favorites Eagle’s Deli or Crazy Dough’s pizza.

For the remainder of the day, explore the popular Quincy Market Complex, including Faneuil Hall, the meeting hall and marketplace dating back to 1743 and known as the “cradle of liberty.” Stroll through the stores, try some authentic Boston “chowdah” and settle in to watch the sights and all of the street performers.

If you’re looking for a different vibe, go hang on the grown-up tire shaped swings at the highly Instagrammable Lawn on D in the Seaport District, the city’s tech hub.

Today is devoted to visiting Harvard University . As the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States, this Ivy League school hardly needs introduction. Harvard’s notable alumni range from Nobel Prize winners to Rhodes Scholars as well as eight U.S. presidents. Located in Cambridge just over the Charles River, the campus is known for its ornate architecture, styled similarly to colleges in England.

Leave time to soak up the atmosphere in Harvard Yard, where all freshman live and which is home to student events. Then spend some time in Harvard Square with its cafes, shops and restaurants. Don’t forget to check out Harvard Coop, the official campus bookstore, for souvenirs. For lunch try Mr. Bartley’s, a throwback burger joint that has been serving since the 1960s.

Spend the rest of the day taking it all in along the banks of the Charles at Riverbend Park or head back to Back Bay for some more city exploration. 

TIP: Unstructured time such as shopping or sitting in a park is a great chace to let your student talk at their leisure about reactions to different schools, campuses and approaches to higher learning. It is easiest to have these gut-check conversations when a bit of time has passed and you are not on campus but all of the experiences are still fresh. Don’t force it, just let the conversations happen.

Tonight, cap off the trip with dinner and jazz at the The Beehive, an all-ages venue named one of the top 100 jazz clubs in the world.

Based on time, interests and the desire for a contrasting look at some smaller schools, consider adding (or replacing) visits to Tufts University , Babson College , Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , Brandeis University or noted women’s college Wellesley .

How to Plan a Successful Campus Tour of Boston’s Top Colleges

Each year, we partner with schools and community organizations around Massachusetts to plan campus tours for their students. They receive quality transportation, professional drivers, and attentive customer service.

This year, we’ve gone one step further to make your trip run even smoother. We talked to five of Boston ’s top colleges to learn everything there is to know about group tours on their campuses.

Boston University

Overlooking the Charles River, Boston University’s campus is home to nearly 18,000 students. With a student to faculty ratio of 10-to-1, the school offers students a highly-personalized education.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person on-campus tours are suspended. For future reference, the university welcomes groups of 10 to 50 students to schedule a tour by filling out their request form or by calling admissions at 617-353-2300 . Group tours are conducted by a current BU student and are available for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors only. Schedule your visit at least three weeks in advance to ensure availability.

Your bus driver can drop students off outside the visitor’s center at 233 Bay State Road. Though the university doesn’t have guest bus parking on campus, your driver can park off-campus and meet you back at the visitor center at the end of the tour.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Visit the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge to learn about its prestigious academic programs, admissions process, and campus life. Students who are interested in science, engineering, and research will especially benefit from visiting their campus.

On-campus tours are suspended due to the global pandemic, but you can plan and schedule a self-guided tour for your group. For future reference, when you book a visit, your students will receive a 75-minute tour which includes the Stratton Student Center, Zesiger Athletic Center, and Kresge Auditorium.

MIT will waive the tour fees it’s booked by a teacher or school counselor. There are specific times of the year when campus visits can not be accommodated, so read their guidelines carefully before requesting a date.

At 84 Massachusetts Avenue, your driver can safely let students off the bus. When you partner with a company like GOGO Charters , you won’t have to worry about finding parking. We’ll ensure that your driver knows where to park so that you can focus on your upcoming trip.

Harvard University

Harvard is one of the top Ivy League schools in the country and typically has tours available for groups from 15 to 100 participants. However, due to the global pandemic, all public and private campus tours are suspended.

For future reference, you can schedule a tour in advance through the Harvard University Visitor Center. Once you arrive in Cambridge, ask your driver to drop students off at Mt. Auburn Street between Holyoke Street and Plympton Street. Tours begin at the Harvard Information Center and are led by current students.

Your guide will use their personal experience at Harvard to teach students what to expect. They’ll also be available to answer questions about housing, admissions, financial aid, extracurricular activities, and more.

Northeastern University

Students who attend Northeastern University have a unique opportunity to learn from real-world experiences. Over 90% of undergraduates complete co-op programs during their four years at the university.

High school and college transfer students can book group tours through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Request a tour at least two weeks in advance, and contact the school if your group has over 40 participants.

The tour begins at the Visitor’s Center at 40 Leon Street, and your driver can drop students off on Forsyth Street near Ruggles Station.

Boston College

Groups of 10 or more participants can tour Boston College’s campus to see its beautiful Gothic architecture and learn more about the school. Schedule your tour two weeks ahead of time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

The Eagle Eye Campus Visit, which lasts two hours, includes an information session and campus tour. A current student will show participants around the school and answer any questions they may have.

The school’s staff suggests that buses unload on their lower campus, which is a short walk from their office at 140 Commonwealth Avenue. Your driver may park at Boston College’s Newton campus a mile away and return for pickup after the tour.

On-campus visits.

Boston University is excited to welcome visitors to our campus! We host in-person tours and information sessions where you can experience the vibrancy of BU’s campus and meet current students. Here is some helpful information in preparation for your visit:

• Registration is required for all events.  Please select a date from our events calendar  to register for a program in advance of your arrival on our campus.
• During high school vacation weeks, holidays and weekends, our programs often reach capacity weeks in advance.  We recommended securing your visit before making travel plans.
• If you are unable to secure a reservation, you are welcome to take our self-guided mobile walking tour.  Using your phone you can choose from options that mirror our in-person tour, or opportunities to explore our West campus and Housing facilities through videos and narrated tour stops.
• A member of the Board of Admissions is available to answer questions at the Visitors Center during our operating hours.
• We offer information sessions year-round, but campus tours are not available when BU classes are not in session (much of December and January, Spring Break (in March) and May). We do host information sessions and campus tours throughout the summer.
• Campus tours enter several buildings on campus, but residence halls are not included. Admitted students have the opportunity to tour residence halls at Admitted Student Open Houses in April.
• Parking for visitors is limited. See our Directions and Parking page for the most updated information at the time of your visit.
• Only trained service dogs are permitted in our building and on campus tours. Pets and emotional support or comfort dogs are not permitted.

Visiting Boston Area Colleges

Even with an abundance of online college information, nothing beats a personal visit. During a campus visit, you can personally experience the details that make a college special and gauge if it might be a good fit for you. It can also be very helpful when trying to decide between different colleges. Even better, college visits can actually increase your chances of being accepted. For example, Tufts University includes in their acceptance criteria whether an applicant has actually visited the school or just dropped an application.

To get the most benefit from a visit, make sure you do thorough college research online and build a list of potential colleges you are considering. From that list, you can then come up with a visiting plan.

The Best Times to Visit Boston Area Colleges

Visiting during summer vacation before the senior year is popular because it does not interfere with school and can be combined with summer vacation travel. Since many colleges start in mid-August, you may want to visit during that time so you can see the school in action. Visiting earlier in the summer can work too, but of course there will be fewer or no students present.

Fall is a great time to visit Boston colleges. Not only is the weather amazing, but the fall colors make each college shine. You will also find that the energy on campus is at its best. 

Many college advisors recommend visiting in the spring during your junior year. This is a good strategy if you plan to apply for an early decision in the fall.  Of course, it requires your college research to be done early.

The Best Days to Visit Boston Area Colleges

Each college has its own schedule for visiting, and some are open seven days a week, others only a few days a week. Generally, weekends are not a good time to visit, as colleges operate on a weekend schedule. Many Boston colleges offer Monday through Friday for visits, but sometimes Friday is not the best day to visit as students get ready for the weekend. Make sure you don’t visit during holidays or special exam days. Checking with colleges is best before you plan a visit. 

Visiting multiple colleges

Visiting multiple colleges on the same trip is a great idea. Grouping them by general location will make that easier. In the table below, you will see the general location of each school.

Metro Center: This indicates that you can reach it via the subway (called the T).

Metro North, West, and South: best visited by car, Uber, or, in some cases, commuter rail.

We offer a wide variety of customized educational itineraries based upon your curriculum requests and budget.

Can I customize my trip?

Yes. All itineraries are fully customizable based upon your desired destination, curriculum requests, and budget needs.

What age groups are your tours suitable for?

Because we fully customize every itinerary, we can offer tours to any and every age group.

Is participation in Zoni educational tours exclusive to school students?

No, Zoni educational tours are not limited to school students alone. They can be arranged for college students, adult learners, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, language organizations, home-school co-ops, cultural schools/organizations, businesses, or individuals with an interest in acquiring knowledge and exploring new environments.

Are Zoni Tours' educational programs suitable for homeschoolers or smaller groups?

Absolutely. We cater to various group sizes, including homeschoolers, with fully customizable itineraries.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size required for booking?

We require a minimum of ten paying passengers per group. We have no maximum group size.

How far in advance should I start planning my trip to secure our desired date and destination?

Start as soon as possible.

Planning should begin as soon as possible. International travel is typically planned 12-18 months before departure.

Will there be adult supervision throughout the trip?

Zoni Educational travel tours have trained Tour Managers and Tour Leaders accompanying the group. For domestic travel there will be one Tour Leader for every 10 students and for international travel, there will be one Tour Leader for every 6 students.

What’s the difference between a Tour Manager and a Tour Leader?

One comes from your organization and the other comes from Zoni Tours.

The Tour Leader is a representative from your school. The Tour Manager is affiliated with Zoni Tours and is well versed in the destinations visited.

Do chaperones/tour leaders travel for free?

Yes, for domestic travel we offer one free tour leader per ten paying passengers. For international travel, we offer one free tour leader per six paying passengers.

What destinations do you visit?

Destinations around the world.

The itineraries listed on our website include examples of destinations that we travel to, but we are happy to customize a tour of any destination you wish to visit.

What are the durations of your tours?

While many of our domestic tours are two-night/three-day itineraries, we can customize a tour for any desired length of time.

Do you provide all transportation, or do we need to arrange it separately?

We provide transportation most of the time.

Your transportation needs will be provided by Zoni Tours, unless otherwise noted in your proposal.

What student details will need to be collected?

Only the information necessary for safe travel.

All forms are signed at registration along with terms and conditions. Documentation required by your school or organization may vary.

Can I choose my flight schedule?

No. Group travel is secured under one booking.

Can I choose my seat?

No, seats will be assigned at the time of booking.

Will we all be seated together on the plane?

While not guaranteed, Zoni Tours will do everything possible to accommodate this request.

Can I change my flights to meet family/friends at the end of the trip?

Flight changes are available at your own expense, subject to group leaders' approval.

Are your tours wheelchair accessible or suitable for individuals with special needs?

Zoni Tours will accommodate special needs per ADA and section 504. We can secure accommodations in motorcoaches, hotels, and most eateries. However, elements of certain itineraries are not accessible to wheelchairs and other devices. Please make your Educational Group Tour Coordinator aware of any special needs when you begin your travel planning.

Everything you need to know about Boston College and Boston University in the Frozen Four

The men’s Frozen Four is in Saint Paul, Minn., and two Boston teams are making the trip.

Boston College will take on Michigan, and Boston University will face Denver in the semifinals on Thursday night, with the winners competing for the national title.

Here’s everything you need to know about the teams, the games, and the fanfare surrounding the weekend.

BC and BU’s history in the Frozen Four

The rivalry in this year’s Frozen Four runs deep.

The Eagles and Terriers have each won five national titles, with BC’s most recent coming in 2012 (the others: 1949, 2001, 2008, 2010). BU’s only title this century came in 2009, and before that, the Terriers won in 1971, 1972, 1978, and 1995. BU advanced to the Frozen Four in last year’s tournament, but fell to Minnesota, 6-2, in the national semifinal.

The last time BC reached the Frozen Four was in 2016, when current Eagles head coach Greg Brown was an assistant on Jerry York’s staff. In Brown’s 14 years coaching under York, the Eagles made seven Frozen Fours.

Including this year, BC has appeared in 26 Frozen Fours, compared to BU’s 24. The Eagles and Terriers have three Frozen Fours in common (1950, 1978, and 1990), but they only played in one of them.

In 1978, BU and BC faced off in the NCAA championship game in Providence. The Eagles took an early 2-1 lead, thanks in part to future NHLer Joe Mullen, before BU rattled off four straight goals and skated to a 5-3 win. The Terriers hoisted the trophy for the third time in eight years.

That BU team featured Jack O’Callahan, Dave Silk, and Jim Craig, all of whom were on the 1980 gold medal-winning US Olympic team that took down the Soviet Union in what became known as the “Miracle on Ice.”

Frozen Four teams’ series history

The BC-BU rivalry is well-documented in Boston, and they’re about as familiar with each other as they could be.

The Eagles have won three of their four matchups this season, including a 4-1 win at Conte Forum on Jan. 26, a 4-3 win at Agganis Arena on Jan. 27, and a 6-2 win in the Hockey East championship game on March 23. The Terriers stole a 4-3 victory in the Beanpot semifinal at TD Garden.

As far as the other two teams in the Frozen Four go, it’s mostly uncharted territory. BU hasn’t played Denver, its semifinal opponent, since Oct. 27, 2017, when the top-ranked Pioneers took a 4-3 win at Agganis Arena. The Terriers haven’t played Michigan since October 2022, when they split a two-game series in Ann Arbor.

The last time BC played Michigan was Dec. 13, 2014. The Eagles won that game, 5-1, but the Wolverines hold the all-time series lead, 11-5. Should BC advance to play Denver, however, the teams have some recent history: Denver beat BC, 4-3, in the Eagles’ fourth game this season.

How they got here

The road was far from smooth for the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the country. BC and BU survived early scares from a pair of No. 4 seeds before pulling away in the third period for comfortable first-round victories. BC scored five unanswered goals against Michigan Tech in a 6-1 win , and BU scored three straight goals in a 6-3 win over RIT .

Then, in the regional finals, both schools overcame 2-0 deficits to earn spots in the Frozen Four. BC never led in regulation against Quinnipiac, needing Jack Malone’s overtime heroics to secure a 5-4 win .

BU came back from down 2-0 to beat Minnesota, 6-3 , helped by a pair of empty-netters.

It took two extra periods for third-seeded Denver to beat UMass, 2-1 , in the first round. Tristan Broz scored the winner, and goaltender Matt Davis made a career-high 46 saves in the win as the Pioneers advanced to face Cornell in the second round. The Big Red took an early 1-0 lead before Denver scored two unanswered goals to earn a trip to the Frozen Four.

The Wolverines advanced to their third straight Frozen Four with a 4-3 win over North Dakota in the first round and a 5-2 victory over rival Michigan State in the second round. Michigan got its revenge against the Spartans, who downed Wolverines in the Big Ten Tournament title game just a week prior.

Frozen Four 2024: TV info and schedule

Both semifinal games, as well as the final, will be broadcast on ESPN2 from the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn. You can also stream all three games on ESPN+.

Semifinals: Thursday, April 11

• Denver vs. Boston University: 5 p.m., ESPN2
• Boston College vs. Michigan: 8:30 p.m., ESPN2

Championship: Saturday, April 13

• TBD vs. TBD, 6 p.m.

Men’s Frozen Four ticket information

If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, it’s not too late. Tickets are still available for all three games.

Tickets to both semifinal sessions range from $120 in the upper decks up to as much as $2,044 for rink-side seats at center ice. One semifinal ticket gets you into both games on Thursday. Ticket prices for the title game range from $130 up to $2,500.

The NCAA also offers “fan experience” tickets , which include game admission, food and drinks, club access, and guest appearances. Fan experience tickets start at $575 per person for the standard package, or $750 per person for the VIP experience.

Men’s Frozen Four fan events

Fans in the Saint Paul area can take in the Frozen Four atmosphere even without going to the games by attending watch parties and fan gatherings in the neighborhood surrounding the Xcel Energy Center.

• The BU Alumni Association is hosting a pregame party at Smorgie’s from 2-5 p.m. on Thursday. Registration is recommended.
• BC fans will gather at Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub from 4-7 p.m. Fans are asked to register by Monday.
• Three Sixty will be full of Denver fans starting at 1:30 p.m. If Denver advances to the title game, they’ll have another pregame party at Three Sixty on Saturday.
• Michigan fans will convene at Pat McGoverns from 4-7 p.m., and registration is recommended.
• The NCAA will also host Frozen Fest at the Saint Paul RiverCentre (connected to the Xcel Energy Center), a free event open to the public that includes games, activities, merchandise, giveaways, music, food, and pep rallies. Frozen Fest will run Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

BU fans in the Boston area will meet up at Fenway Johnnie’s for a watch party .

Top NHL draft picks in the Frozen Four

All four teams are chock full of future NHL talent.

Cutter Gauthier: One of three finalists for the Hobey Baker award, the sophomore has 37 goals and 27 assists this season. The Flyers selected him fifth overall in the 2022 draft but traded his rights to Anaheim this season .

Ryan Leonard: With 31 goals and 28 assists in his rookie season, Leonard has proven why the Capitals selected him with the No. 8 pick in last year’s draft.

Gabe Perreault: The Rangers used their first-round pick (23rd overall) last year to select Perreault, a freshman forward who has 57 points (18 goals, 39 assists).

Will Smith: The Sharks drafted the freshman forward with the fourth overall pick in last year’s draft. He leads the nation in points with 69 (23 goals, 46 assists).

Macklin Celebrini: He hasn’t been drafted yet, but the freshman phenom is the presumptive No. 1 pick in the upcoming 2024 NHL draft. He’s a Hobey Baker finalist and is tied with Gauthier for second-most points in the nation (32-32–64).

Ryan Greene: The Blackhawks picked Greene in the second round (No. 57 overall) in 2022. A sophomore forward, Greene has 12 goals and 24 assists this season.

Lane Hutson: One of the top defensemen in the NCAA, Hutson went in the second round (No. 62 overall) to the Canadiens in the 2022 NHL draft.

Luke Tuch: The senior forward was the No. 47 pick in the 2020 draft by Montreal. He has nine goals and 20 assists this season and is the younger brother of Sabres forward, and former Eagle, Alex Tuch.

Tom Willander: The Canucks selected Willander, a freshman, with the No. 11 pick in last year’s draft. The defenseman from Stockholm, Sweden, has four goals and 21 assists.

Zeev Buium: Similarly to Celebrini, Buium is draft eligible for the first time. He’ll be one of the top eligible defensemen after posting 11 goals and 38 assists this season.

Rieger Lorenz: The Wild selected Lorenz in the second round (No. 56 overall) in the 2022 draft. The forward has put up 15 goals and 13 assists in his second season with the Pioneers.

Miko Matikka: The freshman forward from Helsinki, Finland, was drafted by the Coyotes in the third round (No. 67 overall) in 2022. He’s posted 20 goals and 12 assists in his first season in Denver.

Gavin Brindley: The Blue Jackets snagged Brindley with the No. 34 pick in the 2023 draft. The sophomore is currently eighth in the nation in points with 53 (25 goals, 28 assists) and is the Wolverines’ leading scorer.

Seamus Casey: Casey is tied with Buium for the third-most assists in the country (38), and he added seven goals for the Wolverines this year. The Blue Jackets picked him in the second round (No. 46) of the 2022 draft.

Rutger McGroarty: Two Michigan teammates went back-to-back in the first round in 2022, with Frank Nazar at No. 13 and McGroarty at No. 14. The Jets have the rights to McGroarty, who has averaged 1.49 points per game this season.

Frank Nazar: Nazar came off the board when the Blackhawks picked him No. 13 overall. The sophomore has 17 goals and 41 assists this season.

There is still time to get tickets to see the Michigan Wolverines make a run at a national championship.

Michigan will play Boston College on Thursday, April 11, for a spot in the NCAA men’s hockey title game and Stubhub, Seat Geek and Vivid Seats have tickets for the game in Saint Paul, Minn.

Michigan advanced to the game March 31 with a 5-2 win over rival Michigan State while Boston College eliminated Quinnipiac 5-4 in overtime to make the Frozen Four.

The winner of the Michigan/Boston College game will play the winner of Denver/Boston in the April 13 championship game.

Getting to campus, public transportation.

White-lined spaces denote visitor parking.

Proceed past the booth and turn left. Drive past the Boston College shuttle stop on your left and the East Wing (a brick building) on your right until you reach the back of Stuart House (our main administrative building) on your right. Park only in the spots marked visitor or in white-lined spaces—not in the yellow-lined spaces. If you have not received a parking permit ahead of time, you will need an orange temporary parking pass. Please see a staff member in the office you are visiting—Admissions, Career Services, the Law Library, or the Dean's Office—to receive one, and place it on the dashboard of your car.

You’ll find additional visitor parking past Stuart House and the dormitories (Keyes South and Keyes North) on your right and near our game field, the Quonset Hut, our practice field, Alumni House, and another Boston College shuttle stop.

All Boston College campuses are on the Green Line. If you are taking the Red Line, the Orange Line, the Blue Line, or the Silver Line you’ll need to transfer to the Green Line.

There are two options on the MBTA's Green Line: the B train or the D train.

B train and Newton Campus shuttle

The B train ends at the Boston College T stop on Commonwealth Avenue. Once you get off the train, you will see the St. Ignatius Church directly across the street, on the corner of Fr. Herlihy Drive and Commonwealth Avenue. Walk on Commonwealth Avenue, past the Boston College T stop, the Career Center, and dormitories. The BC shuttle stop is at the Main Gate of the Chestnut Hill Campus. Take the Newton Campus shuttle bus, which goes directly to BC Law.

If you decide to take the B line, allow yourself extra time; it makes many stops.

D train and walking

If you take the D train to the Newton Centre T stop, you can walk 15–20 minutes to the Law School.

After you get off the train, walk up the steps, where you’ll see several shops directly across from you. Cross the street and proceed on Herrick Road until you see the First Baptist Church on one corner and Liberty Travel on the other. Cross the street and make a right onto Centre Street. (Starbucks, CVS, the Newton Centre Playground, the Greek Evangelical Church, and the Trinity Episcopal Church will be on your left.) Continue on Centre Street past Commonwealth Avenue and through the residential area. You’ll see a stone wall, with the BC Law entrance on your left.
