Utopias Tasting and Taproom Tour
Utopias. One of the worlds most sought after and extreme beers. Get yourself a taste of this elusive liquid on our Samuel Adams Cincinnati Taproom Tour and Tasting. Included is a 1.5 oz tasting of 2023 Utopias, a flight of 4 Taproom Exclusive Brews, a tour of our R&D Brewhouse, and our Barrel Aging Room 21 Cellar in our Production Brewery.
Production Brewery Tour
We are excited to announce we have opened tours to the public of our Production Brewery located in Downtown Cincinnati Ohio. You will get to see the inner workings of our brewery that we have called home since 1997. Included is a sample of our seasonal beer and a Flight of 4-5oz beers. +21 only. This tour requires a good deal of walking and climbing up and down steps. PPE will be provided and required. No open toed shoes, shorts, or sleeveless shirts are permitted. Jewelry will need to be concealed. No refunds will be given if these requirements are not met.
Pregame Tour
Going to the ballgame? Take yourself out to Sam Adams Cincinnati Taproom to pregame! This 30 minute tour includes a pint of Boston Lager or Summer Ale. You'll learn about what it takes to make our very limited taproom exclusive brews, and look at some of the ingredients we use to make them. Catch the free streetcar or rideshare down to the ballpark and avoid the crowds!

Learn the roots of Samuel Adams in Cincinnati! Enjoy a taproom exclusive flight and a tour of our research and development brewhouse. To cap it all off, we'll sample one of our barrel aged offerings! Ages 21+

TAKING YOUR HISTORIC BREWERY TOUR IN CINCINNATI
Please check your ticket to ensure the correct starting location, as different tours begin at different locations. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour start time in order to check in and fill out a liability waiver. Allow enough time for parking, especially on the weekends, as your tour guide typically cannot wait for late arrivals. Tours involve walking outside and many include going up and down steep stairs. Comfortable shoes (no open toes or heels) are recommended.
Photography is allowed, however we ask you be respectful of other participants. Some tours are not recommended for young children (under 18 requires parental approval), so please keep this in mind when booking. Tours run rain or shine. No alcohol is allowed on the tour when on public streets and private buildings, and no outside alcohol is allowed.

Yes, children are welcome to come on most tours and discounted tickets are available. However, the Cellars & Saloons Brunch Tour and the Cincinnati Brewing & Distilling Tour is 18 & up and the Built on Beer Brew Bus Tour is 21 & up.
Mobility Concerns: If you would like to take a tour with us, but you or a member of your group has difficulty walking long distances, traversing stairs or uneven surfaces, we can make arrangements to potentially suit your needs. Please contact us at [email protected] or (513) 604-9812 for details.
We welcome private tours outside of our normal tour schedule. You can choose one of our standard tours or we can customize one for you. Tours are great for business outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family outings, and more! We can also assist with partners at local breweries and restaurants for tastings, food, and more. We offer qualified non-profits and fundraisers a pair of tour tickets to be used for fundraising events. Start by filling out the tour form below and we will contact you.
Please contact us at least four weeks prior to your event to allow enough processing time.
Donation Request Form
Gift Certificates and discounts MUST be redeemed online, and are NOT valid in person. Select your desired tour and number of tickets either from either the list of tours or the calendar. Write your coupon code, gift certificate code, or other discount code in the discount box after selecting your tickets and hit “apply” and the discount should be applied prior to entering your credit card information. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive an emailed ticket that will serve as your record of the purchase.

Discounts on regularly scheduled tours are available for groups of 8 and larger. Discounts are automatically applied to your order. Current discounts are 15% off for groups of 8-19 and 20% off for groups of 20-40. Please contact us for groups large than 40.
Entering an email address while purchasing tickets will enter you on our email list. We do not sell or share this list or any other contact information with any other organizations or businesses. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time.
Tickets are non-refundable with less than 48 hours notice (via phone or email) prior to the tour/event starting. Tickets may be substituted for future credit or a different tour at the discretion of management. Please do not purchase tickets through a discount site like Groupon or CincySavers, as we currently do not have a relationship with any of these companies and we do not accept their coupons.

Samuel Adams Utopias is back in Cincinnati: How to try the 28% ABV beer
The Samuel Adams beer with an alcohol by volume percentage so high making it illegal in multiple states will be available this weekend for beer enthusiasts to try.
Sam Adam's Utopias beer is back in the Cincinnati taproom this Saturday and Sunday. The beer, which comes in at 28% ABV, is illegal in 15 states.

You'll need a ticket to try Utopias at the Sam Adams Taproom in Cincinnati, which cost $15 and allows a 1.5-ounce pour, according to the website. Tickets are still available for both days.
To celebrate three years of being open, the taproom also plans to announce its "special" beers on draft.
Boston Beer Co., which makes Sam Adams, releases Utopias every other year, and it's often available to purchase at select specialty beer, wine and liquor stores, where laws allow.
The last time Utopias was available in Cincinnati was in 2019.

Utopias has been previously compared to a complex port or cognac. Sam Adams has described it as an "extreme" beer by the brewery, and some of the liquid has been aged nearly three decades in wooden bourbon casks.
