I have worn Safari for quite awhile. I love it, and so do people around me. More than once, I've had someone say they walked behind me just so they could smell my fragrance. And countless have asked me the name of the fragrance I wear. Loren hit a home run with Safari.

It smells really nice I bought it because I collect fragrances and this is the best one out of 20 bottles

Still smells just as good at the end of the day as it did at the start. Not as strong but its the same smell. Not soured down like others will do.

It smells great and stays with you all day long. I’ve been wearing it for 25 years almost everyday. I have plenty other nice colognes but nothing comes close to Safari.

Recenze: Safari

Vůně tak „drží pohromadě“, že jsem jednotlivé složky nevnímala. Začátek je zelený, snad i trochu mýdlově a netrvá dlouho. Neulepená opojná sladkost květin, koření a pryskyřice se vynoří záhy a ke konci už jen slábne. Mázla jsem si malinko z vialky tyčinkou v 8 hodin ráno na zápěstí a ještě ve tři jsem ji zřetelně cítila. Když byla „zelená“, musela jsem k místu aplikace přiblížit nos. Když zkvětinovatěla, cítila jsem ji při každém mávnutí ruky.

Asi takto - Afrikán a Narcis se vymydlí, hodí do gala (obléknou své pečlivě vyžehlené lněné obleky barvy olivově béžové), za ruku vezmou Galbanum a vyrazí na trh. Tu čichnou k některé z nabízených květin všech možných barev a vůní, jimiž trh přetéká, tu zaboří nosíky do sušeného aromatického koření, aby si nakonec odnesli kousek skořice a sáček rozmarýnu. Znaveni všichni tři zapadnou do blízké čajovny, kde v přítmí posedí, popijí jasmínový čaj a pokouří z vodní dýmky. Večer přijdou domů, naskládají se k televizi a sledují záběry z africké divočiny, na kterých kdesi v dálce dovádí lvice Elsa se svojí rodinou. Moje první reakce na tuto vůni byla jednoznačná - ano, ano, ano, toto je můj šálek kávy. Rok vzniku 1990, tedy ještě éra velkých vůní, které, jak uvádí kdesi myslím Áda, se nosily jako šperk. Květinově zelená, nahořklá, ovocné složky nejsou zdrojem sladkosti, pačuli tak akorát, aby to pěkně drželo. Trocha pryskyřice a sladkých dřevitých doteků - to aby se nezvedala oblaka prachu. A v jisté fázi se vůní prohnal nějaký nefalšovaný závan živočišna, já říkám kočičina, ale klidně to mohlo mít na svědomí stádo zeber. Pro milovnice těchto typů vůní (k nimž jednoznačně patřím) by mělo být seznámení se Safari povinné, ba možná i státem dotované :mrgreen:.

Začátek Safari mi z 90% připomíná Van Cleefa a bohužel v něm cítím i Maroussiu. Moc sladké a pudrové. Po rozvonění už je Safari díky jisté přírodní zemitosti (nenazvala bych to zelenost) příjemné, s měkkým závanem jemného mýdla. Galbanum, narcisky, santal, pačuli, vetiver. Krémově měkká, sladká vůně s nuancí pižma antilopí nebo zebří kůže.

Zemitá, jemně nasládlá, po rozležení je cítit dřevo s trochou květinek. Pro mě ideální na zimu - tahle vůně zahřeje i když chvilku po stříknutí připomíná les a vlhké dřevo. Malinko orientální ale když se to nepřežene tak okolí určitě nebude obtěžovat. Nevím, jak by se rozložila v letním parnu - ale ke koženému kabátku i do podzimních plískanic ideální.

Safari, to je jako přechod z travnaté louky do horké pouště. První okamžiky voní výrazně zeleně (galbanum), jste na posekané louce, do které praží slunce a uvolňuje tu vůni ještě před chvílí vlhké, právě posečené trávy… Ale jak se na kůži usazuje, vůně zlátne, slunce stoupá nad obzor a nabývá na síle a vy najednou stojíte a díváte se na poušť, z níž na vás dýchá to teplo rozpáleného písku, a na žhnoucí slunce, jemuž je podobný flakonek… A necháte se hřát.

Vysněná Safari. Zdobný flakonek na stole ukrývá rozpuštěné slunce a já tomu ještě pořád nemůžu věřit. O žádném jiném parfému jsem se nepřesvědčovala tak dlouho, že ho vlastně nepotřebuji a že si ho nekoupím. Ale proč vlastně? Vždyť je tak krásný! Začátek je naprosto identický se Silences od Jacomo. Ohromná otep čerstvě nařezaných růží, kterou právě přivezli do květinářství. Květy jsou ještě zabalené do papíru, čouhají jen tmavozelené, dřevité, nedávno uříznuté stonky a ty vydávají intenzivní tmavozelenou, šťavnatou, svěží, trochu trpkou vůni. Až doteď bych si obě vůně lehce spletla, Safari je jako bohatě nastříkaná Silences a Silences je jako jemně nanesená Safari. Pak se ale každá vydá svou vlastní cestou. Zatímco Silences vykročí do anglické zahrady na pěšinku lemovanou bohatou vlhkou zelení a intenzivně vonícími růžemi, ovšem růžemi nesladkými a šťavnatými, a skončí v klidném, tichém a chladivém stínu zahradního altánu, kde můžete strávit nikým a ničím nerušené odpoledne, Safari ze sebe setřese všechnu zeleň a sebejistě vykročí do horké, suché, žluté a sluncem zalité savany. Jak slunce stoupá nad hlavu, Safari sládne, rozvoní se i dřevo a pryskyřice. Zmoženi poledním žárem si uprostřed té lahodné ambry leháte do stínu jediného stromu a doufáte, že lvi zmožení vedrem si vás ani nevšimnou. Vnímáte jen zlaté slunce, horký vzduch se chvěje, usínáte. Safari je silná, sladká, nápadná a vytrvalá. A je taky krásná, lahodná, neodolatelná, hřejivá, obklopí vás celou a celý den vás chrání. Ani na chvilku mě nešokovala a nesrazila do kolen, můžu si ji na sebe vzít kdykoli a nikdy se mi nezdá nemístná. Je to jedna z mých lásek na první počuch.

Nejste-li zrovna ostřílený lovec Pampaliny, který odvážně vrhá ruku do křoví, aby vytáhl nějaké to divoké zvířátko, přistupujte k Safari rozvážně a s dostatečnou trpělivostí. Safari a zejména jeho začátek je totiž ostře chyprovo-aldehydový. A nebudu vám nic nalhávat, takže narovinu, i já po jeho bezprostředním použití musím před jeho naleštěnými drápky pěkně utíkat, aby mě hned na začátku nerozsápala hladová smečka lvů. Zkušený lovec by pak radil, postupujte tak, jako když si hadí muži dávkují kobřího jedu. Váš nos si totiž pomalu, ale jistě přivykne a třeba se i zamiluje. Svou barvou připomíná Safari pryskyřici stromů nebo odpolední žhavé slunce, obsah je při nejmenším zrovna takový. A i když to slunce vnímáte jen z příjemného stínu pod salámovým stromem a žízní taky zrovna netrpíte, stejně máte pocit, že se vám kůže tak nějak připaluje. Celý lektvar dokončí sám mistr šaman, který v extázi přiskočí a rezavou rukou přihodí hrst vyprahlé země, snopek nějakých rostlin, suchých jako trout samozřejmě a pak taky ještě nějakou tekutinu ze své nádobky, co nosí za pasem, bude to asi nějaká desinfekce. Vše promíchá a jak v průběhu celého toho rituálu žvýkal nějaké ty zelené lístky, jejich výtažek do celé směsi ještě odplivne. Chybí už jen vše završující děsivý pokřik a máte to tu…lehce štiplavý, ale kvalitní potěr proti zlým duchům.

O značce ralph lauren.

Ralph Lauren se narodil v roce 1939 v New Yorku do rodiny židovských přistěhovalců. K módě se dostával pozvolna. Studoval ekonomii, odsloužil si dva roky v armádě, pracoval jako obchodní zástupce. V roce 1967 si otevřel obchod s kravatami, které sám navrhoval pod svou značkou Polo. Postupně rozšiřoval nabídku a v roce 1972 se objevilo první tričko se slavným logem.
