GUIDED HOLIDAYS Perth & Western Australia
Guided holidays in perth & western australia.
0 trip found.
Being located on the stunning banks of the Swan River, and as capital of gorgeous Western Australia, a day trip to Perth is definitely something that should be on the top of your Australian to do list. It’s the world’s most isolated city, but don’t start thinking that means there’s not much going on in this lively town. Taking a day or more to tour this place will show that not only is it one of the friendliest places you’ll visit in Australia, but it’s also got some of the most incredible sites and activities.
There’s the lush inner city Kings Park, the Swan Bell Tower, Fremantle’s bustling coffee and bar life, ‘The Cott’ or Cottesloe Beach (an incredible stretch of pristine, white sandy beach) plus a ton of other things to see.
If you’re after a day trip just outside Perth, you’ve also got a few different options. Just 3 hours south you’ve got the world class wineries of the Margaret River region. Then north there’s Nambung National Park, where you’ll find some of Australia’s most unique natural wonders, the Pinnacles; a unique expanse of mystical limestone pillars rising from the desert sand. Head east and you’ll find Wave Rock in Hyden, an incredible granite formation frozen in time and an epic National Geographic Magazine feature in 1967.

European Gems Amsterdam to Budapest (2024)
The cabins were nice, the staff were very good, the food was delicious, the tours were interesting, and the Cruise Director, in particular, was excellent. Would not recommend going as a single traveller, however, as vast majority were couples or friends travelling together, so it was quite cliquey with the same people sitting together at meals, especially dinner. Plus, it was 90% Australians and Kiwis, and a broader mix of nationalities would have made it more interesting. The best part was seeing all of the various cities and towns along the rivers. Very nice trip overall.

Western Australia Tours & Holidays
Featuring the world’s most isolated capital city and cattle stations bigger than most European countries, the West Coast of Australia certainly feels like the Final Frontier.
Covering almost the same amount of land as Queensland , New South Wales and Victoria combined means there are plenty of adventures to choose from too. Perhaps visit the waterfalls and red rock gorges of Karijini National Park, take in a lazy sunset camel ride on Cable Beach, or unwind among the vineyards of the Margaret River. One thing’s for sure – when you’re tackling the world’s second-biggest state, it’s well worth calling in the experts.
