Chanthini Doss 24 months ago They don't even deserve for one star..Recently I have booked Srilanka package.And paid for flight ticket with them. But unfortunately due to omicron restrictions we are not able to make it..so I asked them to cancel our flight ticket before 20 days to travel..They also cancelled..After cancellation I enquired them about refund because I have paid big amount for flight ticket. I have reminded each and every day about refund..They always replied we will update you shortly like that..Now the airline refunded my money but this fraud travel agents said that money belongs to them because they have cancellation policy .So I need to pay for them..They don't even mention about this earlier..I was totally collapsed after hearing this..The money I lost was very huge to me. People don't believe this kind of fraud ones. Think twice or thrice before paying ur money to any travel agents. Because we only know how hard for us to earn this money. I think choosing travel toons was the worst decision that I have ever made in my life..

I would give 3.8 stars out of 5. I had booked 4 days package, First two days stay in Munnar was good. On Day3 stay in House Boat was mediocre and not satisfactory. We had asked us to accommodate till 3pm on day 4, but driver hesitant to take us anywhere. we dropped at station by 1.45. that was a disappointment. Last 2 days was not up to the mark.

I liked the service but they could have given more information regarding the currency exchange that I would need and tips about how I can save FX commissions. It would also be good if they give a clear time table of when I should make the payments for hotel and when I would receive the Hotel Vouchers. I paid early and waited more than a month for the hotel vouchers which made me anxious. I understand the resort will only issue the vouchers 1 or 2 weeks before date of stay but if I had known it earlier I might have had some peace of mind

house boat cook dint prepared delicious food..they dint offered menus ...its krishna boat house..it seems we put money in back water...Not even 30 percent enjoyement

#RIPCartoonNetwork is trending on social media. Why the beloved animation channel is getting eulogized online.

The #RIPCartoonNetwork began trending on X on Monday, but there’s no evidence that the television channel is shutting down.

The hashtag is part of a campaign started by Animation Workers Ignited, a community-run account that advocates for workers in the animation industry. It called on fans to post about their favorite Cartoon Network shows to “spread the word about what’s at stake.” Representatives for the group have not yet responded to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for comment.

In the X post that kicked off the #RIPCartoonNetwork campaign, Animation Workers Ignited shared an animated video that claims that Cartoon Network is “essentially dead” and other animation studios “are not far behind.”

“When COVID first hit, animation was able to operate completely remotely, making one of the only forms of entertainment that could continue production uninterrupted,” the video states. “But studios decided to pay them back by canceling projects, outsourcing jobs and laying off artists en masse.”

The video stated that mass unemployment in the industry is the result of “greed.”

“Big studios make their finances look better by reducing spending and cutting staff,” the video continues. “Animation is under attack, which side are you on?”

Marge Dean, the president of the nonprofit organization Women in Animation, wrote in a letter to members in 2023 that the animation industry “saw drastic cuts in projects from all the major streamers long before the writers and actors went on strike.” She said the “explosion of production” in the streaming era has been so disproportionately large, “there was no way that it wouldn’t crash.” The resulting cuts are a “course correction.”

Some X users shared posts as if the channel were shutting down, but Animation Workers Ignited clarified in a post that the network and brand are both still around. Cartoon Network Studios technically no longer exists — it was consolidated into Warner Bros. Animation in 2022. 

A spokesperson from Cartoon Network told Yahoo Entertainment that "there is no truth to the speculation that the network or the studio are shutting down."  

"With a number of recently announced greenlights, we remain committed to continually investing in innovative content that entertains and inspires our viewers across the globe," the spokesperson said.

A viral photo of the Cartoon Network Studios logo being removed from an office building in Burbank, Calif., has been shared repeatedly on social media, but the photo was taken in 2023 after the studio relocated.

Fans used the #RIPCartoonNetwork hashtag to pay tribute to bygone series that aired on the channel, referencing shows like Ed, Edd n Eddy  and Ben 10.

Though Cartoon Network might not be dead, the spirit of the animation studio that employed so many eager workers is no longer as hopeful as it once was. Animation Workers Ignited has reposted several testimonials from users who say their livelihoods have been affected by a lack of work in the industry.

“An untold number of people have already or are at risk of losing their insurance, homes, and livelihoods during this record unemployment across the industry and people are arguing over the use of the word ‘dead,’” one X user wrote in a post also shared by Animation Workers Ignited.

When the French director Catherine Breillat was 40, her then-husband and the father of her first child ended their relationship to be with a much younger woman. Soon after, Breillat started dating a man 12 years her junior.

“Men want to repudiate their wives of a certain age by saying they couldn’t be loved by anyone anymore,” Breillat said in a recent video interview via an interpreter. “But for me that’s not true. I want to tell other women there’s no cause for despair.” In “Last Summer,” which comes to theaters Friday, she probes at this realization through an incendiary premise.

Since the 1970s, the lauded director, now 75, has repeatedly focused her unflinching gaze on the troubled sexual awakenings of girls, often in the uncaring hands of older men, but in “Last Summer,” that dynamic is inverted: A middled-aged lawyer, Anne (Léa Drucker), risks her career and marriage by having a clandestine affair with her 17-year-old stepson, Théo (Samuel Kircher).

The film, Breillat’s first in a decade, joins several recent movies concerned with the power dynamics of heterosexual couples in which the woman is older, including the lighter Anne Hathaway-vehicle “ The Idea of You ” and Todd Haynes’s divisive “ May December .” (Haynes’s movie was inspired by the true story of a teacher who started a relationship with one of her students.)

According to Breillat, this wave of films reflects a simple reality. “It’s the truth,” she said: “Young people are attracted to older women.”

While “May December” positions the young man as a victim grappling with conflicted feelings, Breillat instead made the teen in her movie “not only the object of desire, but the subject of desire,” she said, and the one who “presses for this affair to take place.” Breillat refuses to pass judgment on either of her characters, and instead chronicles how the illicit desire consumes them both.

“I find such a portrait far more interesting than the moralizing society loves to engage in,” she said.

Part of Breillat’s motivation in making “Last Summer” — which is a reimagining of another film, the 2019 Danish drama “ Queen of Hearts ” — was to interrogate the idea of the “cougar” (a term she hates) and the social norms that suggest “if it’s a woman who is seen with a younger man, you assume he is only with her for financial reasons,” she said.

In her nearly five-decade career, which includes acting in the scandalous Bernardo Bertolucci film “Last Tango in Paris,” female sexuality has been the primary concern of Breillat’s work.

“Few directors get as deeply under the skin as Breillat, a longtime, reliably interesting provocateur who tests the limits of what the world thinks women should do and say and be,” wrote Manohla Dargis in her Times review of “Last Summer.”

Breillat’s fearless exploration of desire onscreen, however, has sometimes elicited pushback in France, where she has rarely been recognized. If it weren’t for the positive reception to her work in English-speaking countries, Breillat said she believes her career in her home country would be nonexistent.

When she released the 1988 feature “36 Fillette,” in which a playboy in his 40s manipulates a 14-year-old girl into a sexual relationship, French critics, Breillat recalled, claimed it was “the worst French film ever made.”

“I was criticized for having a male protagonist who was a ‘caricature,’” she said. “And of course, the #MeToo movement has shown that I never invent anything in my cinema, that what I portray is a reality.”

Although she is known for the sometimes-explicit moments of intimacy in her work, Breillat said she didn’t think of “Last Summer” as a story in which carnal pleasure was the focal point. “This film is about the dark side of desire,” she said.

Still, “Last Summer” features three sex scenes between Anne and Théo, each one at a distinct point in their doomed liaison. Their nakedness, however, remains deliberately offscreen. “You don’t have to shoot their bodies,” Breillat said. “The transcendent emotions they are undergoing are only visible on their faces.”

In focusing on their agitated visages, Breillat said she was interested in wondering what the characters were thinking while engaging in the sexual act. What are they imagining?

“Love is about telling yourself stories; it’s about projecting yourself onto a relationship,” she said. “Therefore, it’s a fiction. It’s about thought. It’s about ideas.”

Breillat said she is vehemently against employing intimacy coordinators, whose job, she said, was more about “putting blinders on the eyes of the viewers,” than ensuring the actors’ emotional safety. In her view, that’s what the director is there for. “If a director isn’t capable of staging such a scene, then they simply shouldn’t do them,” she said.

There’s always fear involved in filming sex scenes, Breillat said, because they require utter vulnerability. For the French provocatrice, that’s how it should be.

“What’s the point of making films if you’re not going to be afraid, if the stakes aren’t so crucial that they’re about what’s at the heart of our existence?” she said.
