Step aboard the Emita II for a unique 2 hour excursion that tells the story of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area. For the more adventurous, the Sea Rocket tour takes you on a non-stop 40 minute ride that combines smooth-sailing narration with high-speed destination cruising. You’ll hear intriguing stories about the area’s maritime heritage and get historical insights about our lakeside towns, ports, and harbors. Throw in some humor and a splash of music, and you’ll have a rip-roaring experience on Lake Michigan.

  Come join us for a beautiful Lake Michigan tour departing from Michigan City, IN.  We have a beautiful 42' Avanti Yacht with seating up to 12 of your family or friends comfortably.  The Ahoy Yacht is kid friendly!  

  Onboard your private yacht, enjoy a beautiful sunset, do a little sightseeing of the 61st National Park (Indiana Dunes), swim, party, or just relax. 

The price includes captain's fee, taxes, insurance, and fuel costs.

  Covid-19 Precautions: 

We sanitize the yacht between each cruise.

• How many hours should I book?  3 hours seems to be the most popular for a tour and swim.  2 hours if just doing a tour, sunset, or a swim.
• Fishing, Tubing or Waterskiing? No, we specialize in tours, cruising, and swimming.  The yacht is not equipped or fast enough for those activities.
• What is included in hourly charge?  Yacht fee, captain's fee, taxes, insurance, and fuel costs. 
• Are there other fees? Only a tip, if the captain earns it.  Cash tip is preferred.
• No smoking allowed.
• No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Captains have the right to cancel a cruise based on weather, wave conditions, or safety reasons.  We will try to book another day or give you a full refund.

You can cancel up to 7 days before the cruise for a full refund.  If 6 days or less, you are refunded all but the $350 cancellation fee.

What to bring?

Please bring your smiles, suntan lotion, swimsuits, towels, food, and BYOB (bring your own beverages - alcohol is allowed).  

Pets are NOT allowed.

As we leisurely sail past some of the most beautiful homes along Old Mission Peninsula, you can lay back in the nets and watch the sun disappear. Once it starts to set, everyone enjoys a complimentary glass of champagne and we toast various events such as birthdays, anniversaries, or whatever moves you!

The Nauti-Cat sails on West Grand Traverse Bay, and depending on the wind speed, the catamaran can reach 14 knots. There are two heads (restrooms) aboard. You are more than welcome to bring food aboard. If you want to feel like a part of the crew, we can put you to work raising the sails, jibing, tacking, and navigating.

While on the Nauti-Cat, you get the best view of Traverse City, so bring your camera because these photos will be unforgettable!

Mom left kids, 6 and 8, home alone while she went on cruise: authorities

T AMPA, Fla. ( WFLA ) — A Texas mom is accused of leaving her young children home alone for nearly a week while she went on a cruise.

Harris County court records show that deputies were called to a luxury high-rise apartment complex in Houston on April 9 after neighbors reported that a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old had been left alone inside one of the units.

Neighbors told deputies that they saw the children’s mother, Lakesha Woods Williams, leaving the apartment complex with luggage around noon on April 4 and never saw her return.

When deputies entered the apartment, they found the two kids alone, according to court records. They said the unit was in “complete disarray and had trash and left-over food all over.” Deputies also said the apartment had a “very potent smell of urine.”

The children told deputies that their mother left them on April 4 to go on vacation on a cruise, and they did not know when she would return.

Investigators said Woods Williams was using a camera to watch and talk to her kids while she was away. One of the children had a phone to text her.

The children were removed from the home and placed in the care of a relative.

“We are still putting together the facts and circumstances of how these children were left alone for several days, but the important thing is they are safe now and those responsible should be held accountable for leaving these kids in an unsafe situation,” Constable Ted Heap  said in a statement posted on Facebook .

The sheriff’s office tried to contact Woods Williams, but she “was not cooperating and was switching up her story on her whereabouts,” court records stated.

Deputies said Woods Williams returned to the apartment on April 10 and was arrested the next day. She was charged with child endangerment.

The Pirates scored 134 points as a team to beat second-place Hillsdale Academy, which had 98.5. Onsted was a half point behind the Colts in third. Hanover-Horton was fourth.
