Grammy-award winning phenomenon Chris Brown will bring his ‘Under The Influence’ Tour to The O2 in February and March 2023. Featuring special guest Tyla.

Chris Brown’s Under the Influence UK tour: Locations, dates, and how to get tickets

R&B singer Chris Brown , 33, will be touring the UK and Ireland for his first headline show in more than 10 years.

The tour includes 13 dates, kicking off in Dublin on February 12, 2023, and ending in Manchester on February 21.

Alongside the UK and Ireland, Brown will be heading to France, Germany , Switzerland, and more, promoting his latest album, Breezy.

Grammy-award winner Brown has been hailed as one of the biggest R&B musicians after winning the award for Favourite Male R&B Artist at the AMAs in 2022, as well as picking up a Best R&B/Soul Male artist at the Soul Train Awards.

He has sold more than 197 million records worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists.

The tour announcement comes after his single Under The Influence surged back in the charts thanks in part to it finding viral fame on TikTok videos.

London dates for Brown’s performance will be on February 14 and 15, 2023, at the O2 arena .

This will be followed with performances in Birmingham on February 19, at the Resorts World Arena, Glasgow, on February 20, at the OVO Hydro, ending his UK tour in Manchester on February 21, at the OA Arena.

How to get tickets for Chris Brown’s tour

Tickets to see Brown perform in London are not yet on sale, and will go on presale first.

Presale tickets are available on Live Nation , on Thursday, December 8, at 10am, and you need to be registered first for presale access.

Virgin Media customers can get presale tickets from The O2.

You can find more information about the presale and how to sign up on Priority O2 .

The O2 priority sale will be live until 9am on Friday, December 9, just before the general sale starts.

Thereafter, tickets will go on general sale on Live Nation on Friday, December 9, at 10am, and also on Ticketmaster .

Chris Brown is heading to Europe next year. The R&B legend  has announced his headlining  Under the Influence Tour. 

The 13-date tour kicks off Feb. 13, 2023, in Dublin. From there, Brown will play in London, Manchester, Paris and Berlin before concluding in Amsterdam on March 6, 2023.

Skillibeng will join Brown as a supporting act. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 9.  According to Brown, “more dates might be added.”

Brown’s upcoming tour is named after his sleeper hit “Under the Influence,” which is No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the time of publication. It’s also No. 1 at rhythmic radio in the U.S. and No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart. It’s Brown’s 13th chart-topper on that list.

The platinum-selling song is lifted from Brown’s 2019 album, Indigo (Extended) . 

Brown released an official video for the bedroom banger in October, which has over 37 million views on YouTube.

Brown recently won Favorite Male R&B Artist at the 2022 American Music Awards and Best R&B/Soul Male Artist at the 2022 Soul Train Awards.

Brown was scheduled to perform “Under the Influence” and a Michael Jackson dance tribute to celebrate 40 years of Thriller   at the American Music Awards. However, he said that his performance was axed.

Subsequently, he shared a rehearsal video on Instagram of what the performance would have looked like.

Moreover, Brown’s 10th album, Breezy (Deluxe) , is nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards .

The ceremony airs live Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Breezy (Deluxe)  was released July 8 via RCA Records, just one week after  Breezy .  The standard edition debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on the Top R&B Albums chart.

Brown supported  Breezy  on his co-headlining One of Them Ones Tour   with rap sensation Lil Baby .

The two acts played in major cities across North America from mid-July through late August. 

In other news, Brown released two holiday songs last month, “ It’s Giving Christmas ” and “ No Time Like Christmas .”

The two festive tracks are Brown’s first Christmas-themed songs since releasing his album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon (Deluxe Edition): Cuffing Season – 12 Days of Christmas .

The expanded edition, released Dec. 13, 2017, included his Ella Mai-assisted track “This X-Mas.” 

Before that, in 2007, he released his stellar rendition of Donny Hathaway’s “This Christmas” and a reimagined version of “Try a Little Tenderness.” 

Both renditions appeared on the soundtrack for the holiday comedy,  This Christmas , in which he starred alongside Loretta Devine, Delroy Lindo, Idris Elba and Regina King.

Grammy-winning phenomenon  Chris Brown  announced his UK and European  Under The Influence headline tour for 2023 last Friday, and within minutes the entire 19-show tour sold out, including four nights at London’s renowned O2 Arena, two nights at Accor Arena in Paris, two nights at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and more. The forthcoming tour will have rising global Jamaican rap/dancehall trap artist Skillibeng as the special guest.

The 19-date stretch, produced by Live Nation, kicks off at Dublin’s 3Arena with his two shows on February 11th and 12th before heading to the UK for his first headline shows in over 10 years, then onto France, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium, closing the tour back in the UK in Manchester at AO Arena on Thursday, March 9 th .

Brown released his Grammy-nominated  BREEZY (Deluxe)  album in July  and the alternative Breeze – It’s Giving Christmas  versionin November. The July 33-track deluxe version, up for“Best R&B Album” at the  65 th  Grammy Awards , added Anderson .Paak and Davido to the already star-studded list of features from major artists that included H.E.R., Jack Harlow, Bryson Tiller and more. The  It’s Giving Christmas  version includes the two-holiday singles, “It’s Giving Christmas” and “No Time Like Christmas.”

Chris Brown announced his first solo tour in the UK for 12 years. He’s set to play four nights at The O2 Arena due to extremely high demands for tickets.

The singer revealed just this week that his ‘Under The Influence’ tour will have seven extra dates after the whole of his European tour sold out, including an extra night in London. His fifth show at The O2 will take place on March 19, a month after his first four dates.

Tickets for Chris Brown’s the added date (March 19) of his ‘Under The Influence’ tour are still available via Ticketmaster after his first four dates in February sold out.

Supporting act

Chris Brown will be joined by Jamaican reggae singer and rapper Skillibeng. The dancehall artist is known for his hits ‘Crocodile Teeth’ with Nicki Minaj and ‘Whap Whap’ featuring Fivio Foreign & French Montana.

The O2 allows small bags and handbags, one per person. Small bags are considered to be no larger than an A4 piece of paper.

Backpacks, travel cases, laptops, iPads, GoPros, laptop bags and large tote bags are not permitted inside the arena. But if you need to bring a large bag, visitors will need to leave it at the bag storage facility just outside the main entrance to The O2. This will cost £10 per bag.

Door timings

All of Chris Brown’s February and March dates open at the same time of 6.30pm.

Attendees under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over. Only over 16s are allowed in the floor standing area of the arena.

Chris Brown has announced the UK and European leg of his Under The Influence Tour.

The R&B artist has lined up arena stops in Dublin, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London, where he'll play two nights at The O2, during February.

He'll then head to mainland Europe for shows in Paris, Zurich, Oberhausen, Berlin, Brussels, Munich and Amsterdam, where he'll conclude the run at the Ziggo Dome on March 6. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on December 9. He'll be joined by special guest Skillibeng.

Chris Brown Reveals ‘Under The Influence Tour’ Dates & New Details

Chris Brown has lifted the lid on details surrounding his hotly anticipated ‘Under The Influence Tour.’

Named after his viral smash of the same name , the 2023 trek will be mounted in support of the track and the performer’s most recent album ‘Breezy.’

The superstar is renowned for blazing stages and will be bringing the heat to the European region first, with 13 dates across the UK and Europe. Brown’s UK shows will serve as his first headline gigs in the UK in over a decade.

Chris Brown shocked fans when he made a surprise guest appearance at Wizkid's sold out show in London last night.

On Sunday (Nov 28) Nigerian artist Wizkid officially kicked off the first leg of his 'Made in Lagos' tour in the UK.

The 'Essence' singer certainly began the UK tour with a bang at the London O2 Arena – a show which sold out in two minutes.

Wizkid had a lot of surprised up his sleeve for his fans, who highly anticipated his performance.

Not only did he rock the London O2 stage, but he has brought out surprise guests Ella Mai, Tems, Skepta, Buju and Chris Brown.

Fans lost their minds when Breezy walked out on stage to perform his single 'Go Crazy' featuring Young Thug.

In video clips that have gone viral of Breezy's performance, fans screamed with joy when the star stepped foot on stage.

The special performance marked Breezy's first performance in the UK in over a decade. Brown, 32, was banned from the UK was banned from many countries, including the UK, following his assault on Rihanna in 2009.

The 'No Guidance' singer's VISA was reportedly denied when attempted to enter Britain in 2010 for his criminal conviction.

However, in October 2020, the star was spotted in London for the first time in a decade. Now, he has found his way back on a UK stage for the first time.

He’s AMAZING with all capital words.I’m not going to say he’s the best, but he is for me.Chris has something special, I love him and all he does from the bottom of my heart.I wish I could meet him someday and maybe possibly work with him and show him what I got and the same way i’m proud of him and i appreciate what he does, i would love him to see that on me.I don’t know I just feel like he’s my dad.I’ve never felt this way with any other celebrity but Chris is from another planet.He’s absolutely talented.You ALL need to go to one of his concert at least once.

John Swinney is "heading for a coronation" as the next leader of the SNP after the decision by Kate Forbes not to run, says our Scotland correspondent Connor Gillies .

Ms Forbes was the main rival to Humza Yousaf in the last contest, amassing almost half of the vote.

With her choosing not to go up against former leader Mr Swinney, it's "incredibly unlikely any other candidate will throw their hat in the ring".

Connor describes it as a "major moment", coming after backroom discussions throughout today at Holyrood.

As of last night, he says Ms Forbes hadn't decided what to do - but she appears to have been swayed by Mr Swinney's speech this morning.

"Sources close to her were concerned there would be disappointment at her not throwing her hat in the ring," he says.

"But she says she is rallying behind a John Swinney premiership."

If anyone did want to run against him, they would have until midday next Monday to enter the race.

But Connor says the race is now all but over already.

Kate Forbes has announced she will not join the race to replace Humza Yousaf as SNP leader and first minister. 

There had been speculation the former Scottish finance secretary would join John Swinney in throwing her hat in the ring.

Posting on X, Ms Forbes said she had listened "very carefully" to Mr Swinney's vision, which she said she "welcomed".

She said she had spoken to Mr Swinney directly to "discuss the future of our party and our country". 

"What emerged was that we share a powerful common purpose for the country," she said.

Mr Swinney confirmed he was standing for first minister and SNP leader earlier today, saying he wanted to "unite the SNP and unite Scotland for independence".

He also said he would like to see Ms Forbes "play a significant part" in his team should he be appointed.

The leadership race comes after Mr Yousaf announced he was standing down as SNP leader and Scotland's first minister earlier this week.

As we just reported, a statement from Kate Forbes on the race to succeed Humza Yousaf as Scotland's first minister is expected shortly.

She lost out to Mr Yousaf in last year's SNP leadership contest and has already told Sky News she is considering entering the race again in the wake of Mr Yousaf's resignation.

The former finance secretary faced backlash during her campaign last year after admitting she would have voted against gay marriage in Scotland when it was made legal a decade ago.

The Free Church of Scotland member also told Sky News that having children out of marriage was "wrong" and something she would "seek to avoid".

However, the MSP for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch stressed that "in a free society you can do what you want".

Ms Forbes had argued that "continuity won't cut it".

After losing to Mr Yousaf by 48% to 52%, she said: "If we are to continue to win elections, we need to continue to listen and maintain trust."

Ms Forbes turned down the role of rural affairs minister, which at the time was seen as a demotion.

Although her views on social issues remain unpopular with some of her MSP colleagues, she was one of the few SNP ministers who did not delete her WhatsApp messages during the COVID pandemic.

Ms Forbes would face resistance from the Scottish Greens, who have previously ruled out working with her.

SNP colleague Fergus Ewing is backing Ms Forbes, saying she is "head and shoulders" above any other potential candidate.

Kate Forbes has been widely tipped to run for the SNP leadership once again after Humza Yousaf's resignation - and we'll hear from her shortly.

Our Scotland correspondent Connor Gillies reports a statement is "imminent in the next 30 minutes".

It follows John Swinney, a former SNP leader, announcing he's running for the top job this morning.

We'll bring you Ms Forbes's statement when we get it.

John Swinney has announced his bid to take over from Humza Yousaf as SNP leader and Scotland's first minister.

The Perthshire North MSP has spent a year on the backbenches after he stepped down as deputy first minister when Nicola Sturgeon resigned in 2023. 

Announcing his intention to run for first minister during a visit to Grassmarket Community Project in Edinburgh on Thursday, he said: "I want to build on the work of the SNP government to create a modern, diverse, dynamic Scotland that will ensure opportunities for all of our citizens.

"I want to unite the SNP and unite Scotland for independence."

Mr Swinney accepted that the SNP is "not as cohesive as it needs to be" to achieve its goal of Indyref2.

He said: "That has to change. I could have stood back and hoped others would sort things out, but I care too much about the future of Scotland and the Scottish National Party to walk on by."

The search is currently on to find a new leader for the SNP and Scotland following Mr Yousaf's resignation on Monday. 

Former finance secretary Kate Forbes is expected to give a statement later on Thursday.

It might well end up being Humza Yousaf's last First Minister's Questions, but opposition leader Douglas Ross isn't going easy on him.

The Scottish Tory used his questions to attack the SNP's record, including that of the party's former leader John Swinney, who this morning announced his bid to get the top job once again.

Mr Yousaf bit back, criticising the opposition party and Mr Ross's time in Boris Johnson's cabinet.

That prompted Mr Ross to flaunt a letter sent to him by Mr Yousaf last week when it became apparent that his government was in trouble, with the Tories and Labour filing motions of no confidence after the first minister booted out the Scottish Greens.

"He's talking a big game now," said Mr Ross.

"Has he forgotten it was just last Friday he wrote this humiliating letter to me begging the Conservatives and our colleagues here to save his skin?!

"How quickly things change in the world of Humza Yousaf."

Outgoing SNP leader Humza Yousaf is holding what could be his final First Minister's Questions this lunchtime.

Mr Yousaf resigned earlier this week after kicking the Scottish Greens out of government, which led to a motion of no confidence in him.

He arrived at the Scottish Parliament to spar with Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross, Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar and other MSPs.

'I'm proud of my record'

Mr Yousaf - whose potential replacement John Swinney launched his leadership bid this morning - said he was "proud" of the SNP government's record despite not getting "everything right".

"I'm very proud of the fact I became the first person of colour to become first minister, the very first Muslim leader of a Western nation, the youngest first minister to ever serve in 25 years of devolution," he said.

Mr Yousaf has only been first minister for 13 months, but has served in the government for more than 12 years.

He also defended Mr Swinney and another potential leadership contender Kate Forbes from Mr Ross's barbs, describing them as "both more popular" that the Conservative leader.

People voting in local elections in England will need to provide photo ID.

It is the second year the requirement has been in place - but in 2023,  14,000 people couldn't cast their ballot because they didn't take ID to the polling booth.

There are 22 different types of ID you can use - and if you don't have any of them, you can register for a Voter Authority Certificate.
