Are baby items cleaned before they are hired?

A. Yes! We require that all BabyQuip Quality Providers meticulously clean all of their baby equipment from top to bottom. Babies' immune systems are still developing and we understand that you as parents or grandparents rightfully expect clean and sanitised products. Baby equipment is inspected and cleaned after every pickup and then inspected and sanitised again before the next delivery. Read about our cleaning standards for more information. All cleaners used are organic/non-toxic.

Does BabyQuip deliver baby equipment?

Quality Providers serve hundreds of locations across the US, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Australia & New Zealand. They deliver to hotels, airbnbs, vacation rentals, private residences and even the airport. (Please note that delivery rates vary by location and provider.)

All providers are required to purchase capsules and car seats new or hire ones that have been purchased new for their own children that have not been dropped or involved in an automobile accident. All car seats and capsules have an expiration date and are not allowed to be hired (and are discarded) after the date has passed or if the seat has been involved in a car crash.

Prices vary from location to location and among Quality Providers, but cots and other sleep solutions range from $8-25 AUD per day.

In order to expect your baby to sleep well on holiday, you need to create an atmosphere similar to home. If your baby regularly sleeps in a full-sized cot, it's not likely that they will sleep well in a travel cot on holiday. Hire the equipment you need to create a familiar environment.

This is me and my beautiful daughter Aria. I started this business a few months before we welcomed her into the world and since then, have been able to help hundreds of parents which is what fills my cup. I know first-hand how overwhelming and challenging it can be to find the right baby items. That's why I took it upon myself to research and invest in the best baby products out there to be able to help mums all over Brisbane & Gold Coast! The star of the show is the Bugaboo Butterfly and we all know how expensive this is to purchase if you are only wanting to use it for a few weeks so to be able to provide this to parents at a fraction of the purchase cost is such a achievement!

We aim to provide a quick and uncomplicated process of hiring equipment making all our clients feel at ease throughout the whole process.

All baby items are thoroughly cleaned inbetween hiring. Being a mum myself I understand the need to keep your baby free from germs so this is a number one priority. We also check all equipment to make sure this is working and ready for your baby 

We have two locations. Carina Heights, Brisbane. We also offer delivery in and around the Brisbane areas 

Once you get in contact, I will send you a run down of all the costs including the bond/deposit which is helped for the duration of your hire. If you would like to go ahead and book, a small holding fee is required to secure your spot. This is ether $30 or $50 depending on the item. The remaining balance is then due upon collection 

We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express. We also offer PayPal and will soon offer Afterpay!

Absolutely! This is the best thing to do as we do book out quite far in advance! Once you have secured your spot we can pencil in a date for your hire to start and closer to the time, come up with a more accurate date

We hire the latest model quality car seats, capsules, cots, co-sleepers, strollers, high chairs, play equipment and more.  Freshly cleaned and sanitised for EVERY hire for all budgets!  All of our cots and co-sleepers include 2 sets of fresh linen and our strollers include pram liners for hygiene and comfort.

Our car seats and capsules are professionally installed FREE with your hire!

• You can collect from us at Bracken Ridge (by appointment) Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat 9am-2pm.  We are closed on Sundays.
• We can deliver to any Brisbane Hire Car company (except Europcar), installing Mon-Sat from 9am before you arrive and collecting after you leave.  Arriving or leaving on a Sunday?  Just order for the Saturday or Monday!
• We can install into your family's car , either at our premises (by appointment) or their Brisbane home or office Mon-Sat 9am-12pm for an extra fee.
• Simply place your order by clicking the icons above, choose your hire dates and preferred times and enter your delivery address with postcode (if required).  We will confirm your order and you will have everything you need, when you need it!

Our OFFICE hours are Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat 9am-2pm BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT. Our DELIVERY hours are Mon-Sat 9am-12pm only.

• Allow our equipment to be taken on any aircraft .  We do not provide hire equipment for travelling.  We respectfully suggest you hire at your destination.

Items available at a small additional fee:

• “Go anywhere” child safety capsule (0-6 months) = $11 for the 1 st 7 days (or part thereof), then $1.10 per day
• “Go anywhere” Capsule and Pram Combo = $27.50 for the 1 st 7 days (or part thereof), then $2.75 per day
• Push Strollers plus a variety of prams enabling the child to lay back = $8.80 - $16.50 for the 1 st 7 days (or part thereof), then $1.10 - $1.65 per day

When anyone is contemplating hiring something from someone they have not yet dealt with, there is always the question of condition and quality at the back of their minds.

We purchase about 20 new child seats a year, giving us a “fleet” with an average life of two years and a maximum life of about 4 years. Our prams and strollers are disposed of after about 30 uses.

We can also provide you with mobile phone holders for $5.50 for the 1st week and $0.50 per day thereafter - potentially saving you from a $1,261 fine if you are caught with your phone in your hand or on your lap. Detection cameras are all over the South East Queensland area.

Emu Holiday Hire Noosa Sunshine Coast is a superb company, one of the best kid-focused companies we've ever used. We hired a portacot and high chair for a family holiday. Both were very good quality products, including a very good comfy mattress on the portacot (which isn't always the case). Emu Holiday Hire had also had a fitted sheet custom-made for the portacot, which was fantastic. Furthermore, they threw in some toys and buckets/spades (complimentary) to our order (which were a total lifesaver for the whole holiday); delivered, set up and picked up everything for us; and accommodated a late request by us for a late check out. Their communication throughout was excellent and their prices very reasonable. 100% recommend.

Emu Holiday Hire is owned and operated by Noosa locals and we have our offices and warehouse in Noosaville at 7 / 11b Venture drive.

We have a range of quality standard and premium products carefully selected for our hire catalogue after carefully listening to the needs of our loyal visitors to Noosa since 2005.

As avid beach goers, we have great advice for the best stuff for the beach. Our office team includes mums and grandparents of young children, and many of our baby products have been tried and tested by our very own Emu office babies :)

Do you deliver and pick up?

Yes we deliver to all resorts, hotels, apartments and private homes within the Noosa Shire as well as all the way down the coast to Coolum Beach, including Sunshine Beach, Marcus Beach, Peregian Beach. We can also deliver to Maroochydore and surrounds on request. We also pick up your hire items

What time do you deliver?

For resorts, hotels and managed accommodation, we usually deliver prior to 2pm standard check in and pick up after 10am standard check out.

Having provided holiday hire equipment to Noosa and surrounds since 2005, we have a great relationship with most of the holiday accommodation managers and hosts and we can generally arrange with them to have your hire items ready at your accommodation before your arrival and pick up after your check-out.

What are the delivery and pick up times?

Deliveries are done before 2pm

Pick-ups are done from 10am

What time does my hire period start and end?

The Hire period starts from 2pm on the first day of hire and finishes at 10am on the last day of hire.

Can I extend my hire period?

You certainly can do - unless the item/s have already been booked out. Please email us with your requirements.

Can I collect the hire goods from your warehouse in Noosa?

Yes, you are welcome to collect and return your hire items at our warehouse in Noosaville, 7 days a week between 9.30 and 10.30am . Please be sure to make an appointment first. Our address is 7 at 11b Venture drive Noosaville.

What is your refund policy?

We have a generous refund policy. All booking cancellations must be made via Email to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to 9am of the the delivery date and a full refund will be provided. Should less than 24 hours notice be given, the full refund will be provided less a $30 late cancellation fee . No refunds will be provided for items that have already been delivered or for cancellations made after 9am of the delivery date. If you are not satisfied with any of your hire items, please contact us as soon as possible! - we want you to have a wonderful experience.

Do I need to clean the hire items at the end of the hire period?

We do ask that you please brush off any sand and wipe off any food or drink spills from your hire items. On return to our warehouse, all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. All Bed and Cot Linen is professionally laundered at PowderBlue.

How are your hire products cleaned?

All our hire items are maintained and cleaned using environmentally sound products. All Cot and Bed linen is professionally laundered by Powder Blue in Noosa.

How far in advance do I need to book my hire items?

Best to book your products as early as possible to ensure we have your preferred items available for you. We do have a generous refund policy if you need to cancel for any reason.

For last minute (same day) bookings - you can book online up to 9am or please call or email us with your request. Tell us your dates, your name and contact details, what items you are wanting, and your accommodation details. It’s also helpful to know if you’ve booked directly through your accommodation or via an Airbnb or holiday host.

What locations do you deliver to?

Our office and warehouse is located in Noosaville and we deliver and pick up all over Noosa shire right up to Coolum beach including all the beachy places along the way - Sunshine and Sunrise Beach, Marcus and Castaways Beach, Peregian and Coolum Beach. We also deliver to Noosa Hinterland and surrounds and Maroochydore and Mooloolaba on request.

Do you charge a delivery fee?

We charge a flat $24 delivery fee (this includes pick up of your items at the end of your hire period) - from Noosa all the way to Coolum beach and all the suburbs in between.

We also deliver to Maroochydore and surrounds on request. Please email us with your requirements.

We are Noosa locals and we have our office and warehouse at 7 at 11b Venture Drive Noosaville 4566

Do you install Car Seats?

Yes we do. We hire Rear and Forward Facing Car Seats and Booster Seats.

We provide an installation service at our warehouse 7 days a week between 9.30 and 10.30am. There is a $25 charge for installation per Car Seat.

Do the Cots have mattresses?

We provide the BabyHood Dormire Portacots which comes with an included Mattress.

The Wooden Cots are the BabyHood FoldnGo which include a 10cm Foam or innerspring BreathEzy Mattress.

The Bugaboo Portacot comes with an included mattress.

Which rollaway bed do I choose?

The Standard Single Beds are suitable for children and adults under 60kg

The Standard PLUS Single Beds are suitable for adults under 80kg

Choose the Deluxe King-Single Beds for ultimate comfort

What are your office hours?

Monday to Friday: 9am to 3pm (emails after 3pm)

Saturday and Sunday: 9am to 12noon (emails after 12noon)
