We Already Have the Lineup For Ghostober: See the Spooky Schedule

It's time to start preparing for spooky season e news has all the details on ghostober, 55 hours of halloween programming from travel channel, food network and discovery+..

Who said you can't prepare for Halloween in August?

No one—which is a good thing since E! News has the epic lineup for Ghostober, the spooky season schedule from the Travel Channel, Food Network and discovery+. This year, viewers can expect 55 hours of ghoulish shows and specials, including the highly-anticipated return of Zak Bagans ' Ghost Adventures .

Bagans is also collaborating once again with master of horror Eli Roth  on the   new special,  The Haunted Museum: 3 Ring Inferno . Did anyone else just get goosebumps?

Plus, there's the chilling new series from Jack Osbourne , who will revisit his childhood home in  Haunted Homecoming . We have a feeling that his parents Ozzy   and Sharon Osbourne  will be tuning in for that.

It's no wonder Warner Bros. Discovery's U.S. Networks Groups chair Kathleen Finch  declared Ghostober as "the unofficial start of the holiday season," adding, "We are officially the home of Halloween."

Travel Channel, HGTV, and Food Network Announce Halloween-Inspired Programming

Food Network, HGTV and Travel Channel will be delivering the chills, thrills, and spooky baking ideas with “Ghostober IV” featuring 14 series and specials. The Halloween-themed program lineup includes new seasons of Halloween Wars , The Dead Files , and Outrageous Pumpkins plus premieres of new series The Haunted Museum , House Haunters , and Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life .

“Halloween is a big holiday for our lifestyle brands, and while in past years each brand has delivered on themed programming in its own way, this year we joined forces to build on Travel Channel’s popular ‘Ghostober’ special event,” stated Kathleen Finch, chief lifestyle brands officer, Discovery, Inc. “We combined the ghost-themed series and specials from Food Network and HGTV with Travel Channel’s compelling content to curate an incredible season of scary, fun and bingeable shows across platforms. Travel channel and discovery+ announces 2022 paranormal programming.

Travel Channel and discovery+ have put a stake in the ground (and possibly a vampire’s heart?) to claim the title as the definitive homes of paranormal and horror content. As far as creating it goes, they do reign supreme —and will continue to do so. Today the streaming service and network announced a full slate of new series, specials, and seasons ahead for their 2022 paranormal programming.

In addition to the impressive development deal with paranormal investigator Zak Bagans, expect to see multiple projects from master of horror Eli Roth and paranormal investigator Jack Osbourne. A new show starring global pop superstar Kesha will join the content anchoring a schedule full of series and specials debuting throughout 2022.

Then they’ll shift the party into high gear come the fall, when the fifth annual Ghostober celebration kicks off with spooky, scary programs. Like they did in 2021 with crossover programming on HGTV and Food Network , Ghostober V fun will once again “bleed” into their sister networks.

“Travel Channel and discovery+ have tapped into what paranormal and horror fans love the most – a huge slate of brand-new content from some of their favorite stars of the genre,” says Matthew Butler, group senior vice president, Travel Channel and paranormal streaming content. “Our fans are true believers, and they can’t get enough of this type of entertainment that brings the chills and thrills, whether it’s on television or streaming into their homes.”

Summer 2022 Paranormal Programming

Bringing the creepies all year long is what fans of Travel Channel and discovery+ expect, and this summer will surely not disappoint. The enduring franchise Ghost Adventures returns for more terrifying lockdowns with paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley.

The supernatural has long interested Grammy-nominated global pop superstar Kesha, and in her new exclusive series for discovery+, Conjuring Kesha , she brings along some of her famous friends on a personal journey to uncover the unknown.

Jack Osbourne and the Ghost Brothers go for round two of Fright Club , where they elevate the chills and cheers with the craziest paranormal videos they can find.

And Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror features two new installments. First, Osbourne goes in search of the elusive Bigfoot with his friend Jason Mewes. Later, he searches for aliens with Mewes and Jamie Kennedy. As you might imagine, both comedy and scares ensue.

Halloween 2022 Ghostober V Paranormal Programming

The ultimate Halloween celebrations return with the fifth annual Ghostober programming event, featuring frightening premieres every night of the week, all month long.

All the stars of paranormal combine in one monstrous month of mayhem, including:

• New, surprising editions of discovery+’s Shock Docs franchise

Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: Bigfoot

For years, Jack Osbourne and his friend, actor Jay Mewes, have been curious about the existence of the legendary creature known as Sasquatch, Yeti or most commonly, Bigfoot. Now, they’re venturing into a remote region of northern Idaho, the site of the most reported Bigfoot sightings over the last half-century, to figure out for themselves if Bigfoot is truly an undiscovered creature of North America’s wilderness or simply an age-old legend run wild.

Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: UFOs

Jack Osbourne brings his friends, actors Jay Mewes and Jamie Kennedy, to the edge of the unknown in search of the truth behind UFOs. Utah’s Uinta Basin has been shrouded in mysteries for centuries, with stories of otherworldly visitors dating back to ancient times. In recent years, even stranger sightings have been reported and captured. Osbourne, Mewes and Kennedy embark on an unflinching investigation to figure out if these phenomena are connected and why this strange activity is concentrated in the Uinta Basin.

Shock Docs: Michigan Hell House

It is the greatest paranormal story the public has never heard. From 1974 to 1975, in the small farming town of Merrill, Michigan, the Pomeraning family was tormented by relentless poltergeist activity inside their home. They even battled deadly spontaneous combustion erupting inside the house. Paranormal investigator Steve Shippy, with the help of psychic medium Cindy Kaza, will attempt to find the truth about the evil force that seemed to curse this home and family – an evil that still lives there to this day.

Paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley continue their travels to haunted destinations where they meet with locals, eyewitnesses and experts in an attempt to piece together the haunted history of each site. They then begin their “lockdown” investigation, using the latest scientific gadgets and technology in an effort to obtain physical evidence of the paranormal and uncover the truth behind each haunted mystery.

Ghost Brothers: Lights Out

The Ghost Brothers – Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey – flip the switch on paranormal lore by shining their own light on its darkest secrets. The dopest brothers on camera hunting ghosts, these candid and unorthodox paranormal investigators explore iconic haunted hotspots to find out if the legends are really true and if these places are still plagued by the horror of the events that occurred there. They are ready to expose the haunted holdouts hanging around these locations with unconventional experiments.

The renowned TAPS team returns to the paranormal show that started it all. The Haunted Museum

Produced by Zak Bagans in collaboration with filmmaker Eli Roth, this horror film anthology series presents frightening and hellish tales inspired by the spooky relics on display in Zak Bagans’ Las Vegas museum. Bagans, a devoted collector of the macabre, is opening his museum vaults and sharing the secrets and stories behind a curated selection of his most prized haunted artifacts through scripted shorts produced by Roth and his accredited team, and with featured commentary from Bagans.

UFO Witness

Since the U.S. government released information on its decades of evidence on Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) earlier this year, reports of sightings and accounts have only increased. UFO expert and former federal criminal investigator Ben Hansen is joining forces with UFO researcher and journalist Melissa Tittl to uncover the dark secrets surrounding the unidentifiable objects in our skies.

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.

I want to watch everything! I’d watch Jack Osbourne hunt for Bigfoot first!

Am I the only one who braces themselves that those Bigfoot hunters are finally going to run afoul of some wildlife out there or fall off a bluff while they’re tramping around in the woods – at night? People in Alaska have gotten killed just for jogging in the wrong place. I’m watching, but I’m bracing myself all the same. Some wild things don’t take kindly to people walking up on them. (We walked up on a moose once in Seward and were so lucky that it walked off instead of coming after us!)

Maria, you are so right! My parents and I, all in a raft together, came around a bend in the Tikchik river and startled a grizzly WITH HER TWO CUBS. Fortunately, it took her a few moments to decide to charge us or stay with her cubs, and by the time she charged us, we were in deeper/faster water. I guess we were moving away from her cubs fast enough that she gave up and went back to them. I about peed my pants! I think a Bigfoot would be just as dangerous.

This looks like a fun one! That and the UFO one with Jamie Kennedy. I used to love the Jamie Kennedy Experiment. Not that it will be like that, but he can be a riot so I’m curious to see him with Jack. lol

Maria! You raise such an interesting question. Until you brought it up, I didn’t realize that YES! Whenever a show is out in the woods investigating I hold my breath a lot more and my anxiety increases more with the other shows. The only other time I get nervous for the ghost hunter-type investigators is if they think another person might be in the location. Like I think Destination Fear had that happen an episode or two. Ghosts I don’t worry about. People? Yes! Creatures? YES YES YES! We’ve come across several moose too, once in Anchorage and another time in Denali. Your Sweard experience sounds like our Anchorage one. Luckily the moose stayed laying down when we rounded the corner, but we were right next to it. Like maybe only 6 or 7 feet away? Maybe less. Denali was scarier. They came up through the forest and we had to run up the trail. I had an asthma panic attack. I thought my husband was kidding when he said he saw them coming. We’d only just seen them down at a pond and they’d been a little aggressive to some other hikers. But when they left I didn’t think we’d re-encounter them where we did. It was terrifying! LOVED this comment! Thanks for leaving it and letting me rant back in return. lol

OMG PRISCILLA!!!!!!!! What a terrifying encounter! We were on bikes in Haines when we saw a mama and her two cubs. We stopped to look and one of the cubs put his paw on mama’s rear and stood up looking back at us like, “Look, mom! People!”

That’s when it dawned on me, “Oh crap. This isn’t a zoo. If she decides to charge I’m screwed. Wayne can ride much faster than me.”

That’s when I hopped on my bike and peddled, but she paid us no never mind. Thankfully. BUT your experience! HOLY BLEEP!!!! Thank goodness for the fast current! Did your parents stay cool, calm and collected the whole time or did they freak out a little? Did you all have a good laugh about it afterward?

Hi Court, No, my parents did not stay cool, calm, and collected.:-) My dad was frantically trying to untie the shotgun (which was secured because we had just gone through rapids), and my mom was on the verge of screaming but doing her best to help steer the raft because there was an eddie to the side with a big beaver dam and all its pointy sticks! But, whew, I guess the bear decided we weren’t worth it.:-)

OMG That story just gets even more terrifying!!!! Holy cow now THAT’S an adventure! I’m so glad you shared this!

Travel channel really doesn't seem to know what they have. A google search of making monsters season 2 shows halloween forum reference before travel channel ads  

Try this, it's the site I use for TV listings all the time. Has a pretty good search feature too, as well as when you see a show you like on the listings but missed, and its coming on sometime again in the next couple of weeks, you can click the show name and click on Upcoming Times and it will list what times and channels the show or episode is coming on again on soon. http://tvl.zap2it.com Or try Travel Channel's website, they have a good schedule on their too.

I use this site for all future TV listings (TV Guide.com). Then I use my own Watchlist for reminders, or type in a search word like "Halloween" for a quick search. There are currently 25 pages of descriptions with Halloween related shows. That number will increase within the next week as programming kicks into high gear, and if you're not on top of it, you'll miss out on some cool specials. Good stuff. I like the Weird Travels too, and wish they would produce more. They recently aired LEGENDS OF THE OZARKS which isn't bad. Anyone have the DVD THE HAPPY HAUNTING OF AMERICA by chance? I bought this double set a few years ago.

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has gathered evidence that a secret meeting in the Seychelles just before the inauguration of Donald Trump was an effort to establish a back-channel between the incoming administration and the Kremlin — apparently contradicting statements made to lawmakers by one of its participants, according to people familiar with the matter. In January, 2016, Erik Prince, the founder of the private military company Blackwater, met with a Russian official close to President Vladi­mir Putin, and later described the meeting to congressional investigators as a chance encounter that was not a planned discussion of U.S.-Russia relations. A witness cooperating with Mueller has told investigators the meeting was set up in advance so that a representative of the Trump transition could meet with an emissary from Moscow to discuss future relations between the two countries, according to the people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters. George Nader, a Lebanese-American business who helped organize and attended the Seychelles meeting, has testified on the matter before a grand jury gathering evidence about discussions between the Trump transition team and emissaries of the Kremlin, as part of Mueller’s investigation into Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 election.
