Premier Bulls Tour Championship Bull Riding Comes to Marianna, Florida on May 14 and 15, 2021 at the Old Jackson County Ag Center on Highway 90

Premier Bulls Tour is making their way to Marianna for the first time after COVID-19 setbacks

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - After a few setbacks in their schedule last year, a first of it’s kind event is making it’s way into Marianna this weekend. The Premier Bulls Tour is getting the arena ready for plenty of excitement.

Premier Bulls Tour started off 2020 with the highest of hopes.

“In 2020 we started are year out in Atlanta Georgia in the house of god we were in a church so the expectations for 2020 was unbelievable it was the only time it’s ever been done held a bull riding 50 some hundred men were in there it was really awesome an awesome event so the expectations for 2020 was skies the limit,” said Richie Jones – Premier Bulls Tour Vice President.

Only for their season to be cancelled due to COVID-19.

“And we just had event after event after event just get canceled and brighten us up because nobody knew what was going to come of all this stuff, so we were thinking it’s going to pick right back up and it just never did.”

But now they’re back on the road and ready to finish where they left off last year.

“It will be the top 31 bull riders in the world, and we’ll buck about 50 bulls something like that we’ll also have the ultimate bull fighters here which will be fighting bulls if you’ve never seen that before where they actually come out to compete against the bull to fight and move around him.”

As Richie says the old saying goes, “it’s just the same ol’ bull”, he says this is not the same ol’ bull, it’s something Marianna has never seen before.

“So we’re hoping to show that to them and just show them not that there’s anything wrong with any other way to do things this is just the way we like to do things and we just want to feel the energy back from them that’s the biggest thing when a bull rider gets thrown off or when the bull rider rides or when that bull fighter jumps or does a back flip over one of the bulls to hear the roar of that crowd that’s what it’s about.”

PBT hopes is that they can bring this event back to Marianna next year and many years to come.

PBT will be held this Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30 pm at the Jackson County Agricultural Center. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online .

Who We Are:

Position Summary/Objective:

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, creative, tactical self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual should have at least 1-3 years of experience in VIP and/or hospitality services, sales, marketing, and logistical implementation and execution.

This individual will have significant impact in helping to grow the Premium Sales Department and driving profitable revenues. The Premium Sales & Hospitality Coordinator will have oversight and responsibility for helping to build out the ultimate VIP experience for PBR Fans and Sponsors and will be tasked with developing, planning, organizing, executing, and working with a team to achieve PBR’s objective of driving profitable growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership of PBR’s Premium and VIP Sales Department with the goals of maximizing PBR’s revenue and profitability, enhancing B2C and B2C event experience and effectively implementing and/or refining all new and existing programs, processes and procedures 
• Increase profitability for division as well as meet/exceed budget expectations
• Effectively source and manage 3rd party partners or agencies
• Coordinate on-site logistics with PBR tour operations and venue event coordinators to ensure seamless experience for fans.
• Ensure operational efficiencies and flawless execution for all program elements
• Evaluation of all aspects of premium and VIP programs including but not limited to: superior guest experience, product demand and pricing, P&L, program margin, system operations, marketing, advertising, promotion, sponsorship and sales, surveys, non-traditional revenue and third-party partners
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a superior experience for all PBR consumers
• Lead and work cross divisionally with internal teams (including Sales, Creative, Digital and Social Media, Public Relations, Special Events, TV, Loyalty Marketing, Ticketing, Merchandise, and Finance/Accounting) to ensure maximization of internal resources for Premium and VIP marketing and sales campaigns
• Work with Sponsorship and Ticketing Operations Departments as well as PBR Corporate Clients to effectively and efficiently deliver all VIP partner ticket obligations as well as implement proper procedures and processes for PBR’s pre-event Partner Reception Parties
• Maintain accurate financials and conduct settlements where appropriate
• Work with and book PBR athletes, hosts and entertainers.
• Adept in adaptability and change management
• Take an active role in corporate culture development by fostering an environment of  growth, collaboration, support and accountability 
• Embraces, build and instills a cultural environment of open mindedness, creative and forward thinking and camaraderie
• Additional duties as assigned

Education & Formal Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, Sports Management, or related field - preferred

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in ticket sales, in sports and entertainment industry

Après les blessures récentes de Duncan Robinson et Terry Rozier, la franchise dirigée par Erik Spoelstra va devoir se passer de son leader en la personne de Jimmy Butler. L'ailier américain s'est blessé cette nuit face aux Philadelphie 76ers , suite à un contact avec Kelly Oubre Jr à la fin du premier quart temps. Selon Shams Charania, spécialiste de la NBA, Butler devrait être absent plusieurs semaines.

Butler a joué sur une jambe

Le journaliste de The Athletic a révélé sur X (anciennement Twitter) que l'on s'attend à une absence de longue durée pour "Jimmy Buckets". Malgré sa blessure, l'ailier du Heat a donc continué la rencontre de play-in face aux 76ers , jouant trois quarts-temps sur une jambe. Selon Shams Charania, une lésion du ligament collatéral médial est crainte. L'IRM de Jimmy Butler est programmé ce jeudi à 15h30 heure locale (21h30 heure française) et plus de précisions seront données à ce moment.

Toujours est-il qu'avant même de passer cette IRM, l'absence de Jimmy Butler est déjà plus que probable, ce qui lui fera manquer le play-in face aux Chicago Bulls (01h, heure française dans la nuit de vendredi à samedi) et en cas de qualification de sa franchise, les play-offs, avec un premier tour qui serait disputé face aux Boston Celtics.
