We were looking to use this system as our new CRM but the service has been very bad making comments we don't normally work with smaller businesses, even though we are growing. Arranged a 2nd demo that I was 15 minutes late for then refused to show me a shorter version. Had not options to look at videos and couldn't spent time asking any questions. Frankly if this is how service is from the start I wouldn't recommend

It is the slowest system I have ever…

It is the slowest system I have ever used. Trying to do anything, add a new booking, update someone's availability on the planner. Every task takes around 5 minutes, even basic tasks. The support staff are helpful but unfortunately they cant help a slow system.

Infinity is a comprehensive product with a lot of (configurable) functionality and we acknowledge that some areas of the product are more complex than others. The technical support people in…

The technical support people in Australia are fantastic. But this current version of Voyager is not as user friendly as the previous version. If it were not for the fantastic technical support I would have moved to a different product.

Hi Diana. Thanks for the review. Whilst your comment on our support team is great to hear, we're sorry to hear you're finding the current version is less user friendly for your requirements. Unfortunately the old version reached end of life some time ago and was no longer supportable.

Ongoing issues

Recently we have had x3 queries within the last few weeks that have not been resolved to resolution and passed to the Development team and as yet no response. I feel we are coming up against issues with the system when we are inputting data that we need to be able to export and the system isn't able to do this and i'm told this will be passed to the development team and there is no follow up. In turn we are having to manually do things that from a business perspective is time consuming when we should be in a position that we can report on these things via Voyager. We cant be the only business that has these enquiries and for there to be no response is just poor as we are no further forward.

Hi Lynsey. Thanks for your time on the phone to discuss your feedback and concerns. We appreciate exporting the specific information you required isn't available natively in the product as standard and we're sorry it wasn't something that could be worked around. We do offer bespoke solutions for our customers but accept that this wouldn't be cost effective in this scenario. The request was logged in our customer feedback and suggestions system for future roadmap reviews but as explained, we do try to make it clear that we don't offer responses or ongoing updates to each request individually. As a provider that's been established for many years, you can imagine a lot of customer-specific requests have been raised throughout this time. We don't just ignore or delete them which is why it's not viable for us to offer any continous updates. Of course we do update customers if and when the features make it onto the roadmap and are added to the product. So whilst we accept the product doesn't do what you needed it to in this case, we wanted to clarify that we hadn't simply ignored the request.

Response time was poor

Took a week and a half to get a response, and there wasn't really a solution. The number given to call back was also incorrect.

It's fine.

It's fine. A bit all or nothing. Wanted just a database but you have to have a whole system of working. But there prescriptive way of working doesn't work for us. Don't like the fact that you cannot export your data as easy as basic databases allow you to.

Overall Voyager is very detailed and…

Overall Voyager is very detailed and requires a lot of time in order to get thing precise. Compared to our previous system, Voyager definitely goes into more detail, regarding the interview process, raising jobs and placements. I enjoy it more, however it does take a while to get from one bit to another, which is fine for us Admins, although consultants have told us it takes a lot more time.

It's ok

Unfortunately there are basic things for recruitment such as mailshots that do not work properly. The system is not as quick as it was demonstrated in the sales sessions and there has been various issues since the implementation that will never work to the degree we were used to with the previous system.

Our software can send individual or multiple emails via SMTP or Exchange or even via a 3rd party email marketing platform (MailChimp) - all as standard. Typically one or more of these work very well for clients but we'll ask our support team to follow up to see if we can help you.

As our support team advised, the messages will be shown as failed in our application and can be resent if required. It was unfortunately beyond our direct control but we worked closely with our provider who did react quickly to fix the issue that afternoon. Painful to use !

I feel this software is vastly too complicated for what it needs to be. Multiple layers of buggy software and processes that defeat the point of having the software to make things easier and faster to the clients. Staff very friendly and willing to help up to a certain point. However, training for the program was not bespoke to our needs as the client.

As temp agency software Voyagers VDQ is…

As temp agency software Voyagers VDQ is barely adequate, the support staff are helpful and friendly but the product has many bugs, undeveloped features and is obviously at the end of its development life as new features aren't being rolled out nor are obvious problems being rectified. Its relatively inexpensive but dated and a dead end that won't achieve the automation you require and if you wish to pair it with any timesheet automation software be prepared to have to purchase and run the equally awkward Mid-Office product that attempts to poorly duplicate the timesheet automation you really want.

Thanks for taking the time leaving the review Nick. Further enhancements to VDQ are indeed limited. We have said publicly that our product development for the temps market is focused on our latest product, Voyager Infinity. The good news for existing clients is that there will be a migration path in due course for those who choose to migrate from VDQ to Infinity.

Hi Jane, we're sorry we've not been able to prevent this issue. It's a sporadic issue with Sage integration that hasn't happened for the past 3 weeks. Unfortunately it may well be beyond our control, but we're certainly persevering. We feel it's also fair to mention that we implemented the workaround within 30 mins as promised so you could run payroll on time and without any impact. We do appreciate your patience and we would like to reassure you that we are doing all we possibly can at this time.

Could be so much better....can be beyond frustrating!

Good product. Quite a number of reoccurring technical glitches which have had to be reported on numerous occasions. On the whole, staff are friendly and helpful but do not always get to the bottom of what is causing the issue. Additional development charges for processes which are common across many agencies seem expensive and unfair!

Hi Rebecca, thanks for the review! If features are likely to have wide appeal in the customer base we do add them to product road map but unfortunately it's impossible to implement every idea so not all do make it into the core product. Sorry if that's been your experience.

VDQ performance

there are a number of issues with the software, especially VDQ. 1. we cannot scroll across the weeks prior and subsequent 2. we cannot control the number of open licences ourselves 3. VDQ is too slow, the response times to certain commands is frustrating 4. VDQ is not intuitive, navigation around the application has to be learned

Thanks for the detailed review Gwynne. You're absolutely right on your first point. Customers do have to click to go forward or backward a week which is primarily for performance reasons. That, ironically, leads on to point 3 and we may be able to help. Our support team will get in touch directly to see if there's any data housekeeping or improvements we can make.

Average Support

Disappointing support in a time when after sales is key to building good business relationships. Slow reaction time to problem solving and the over use of email communication when a quick phone call could eliminate the tedious email dialogue and resolve issues quicker.
