Mario Kart Tour: Released for iOS and Android devices on September 25th.

In addition to the runways in iconic places, some characters will be able to change, based on the local "hue" of the cities that will appear in the game.

Mario Kart Tour is free to download and will be available for iOS and Android devices from September 25th. List of tours in Mario Kart Tour

The tours in Mario Kart Tour are the main events of the game, each one consisting of a number of cups and lasting for two weeks, with a new tour starting between every other Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the time zone. To progress through a tour, players collect Grand Stars by achieving points in the cups. Interspersed between the cups are tour gifts and free pipe launches that reward the player with various items. For the duration of a tour, the player can complete two sets of challenges (three if the player has a Gold Pass) to earn extra Grand Stars, although the second set is not available until the second week of the tour. Until the 2023 Anniversary Tour , tours would introduce new content to the game, such as new drivers, karts , gliders , and courses.

Up until the Mario Bros. Tour , the next cup would not be unlocked until the latest cup had been cleared, regardless of whether or not the player had the required number of Grand Stars, although tour gifts were available immediately after meeting the required count. From the Baby Rosalina Tour onward, tour gifts are still unlockable, although all cups no longer require Grand Stars to unlock, meaning they can be played in any order.

In all tours, there is a time availability system for the later cups. Up until the 2019 Halloween Tour , by default, the ninth and tenth cups of each tour were not available until the second day, the eleventh and twelfth not until the fourth day, the thirteenth and fourteenth not until the sixth day, and the fifteenth and sixteenth not until the second week, although players could unlock them faster by using quick tickets . From the 2019 Paris Tour onward, the availability time was changed to one cup being unlocked every successive day (the ninth cup on the second day, the tenth on the third, and so on). From the Baby Rosalina Tour onward, the eighth cup was the first unlockable cup instead due to the reduced number of cups.

Also introduced in the Baby Rosalina Tour, the player can unlock at least two free pipe launches from the first week's pipe with Grand Stars. From the Wild West Tour to the 2022 Anniversary Tour , the second half of the free pipe launches are from the second week's pipe (except in the New Year's 2021 Tour , where only the last two were from the second week's pipe). Following the removal of weekly pipes after the 2022 Anniversary Tour, free pipe launches for non-spotlight items are instead included as tour gifts as of the Battle Tour .

The following tables list the number of Grand Stars required to unlock each cup, tour gift, and pipe.

The first tour of 2019, the New York Tour , began on September 25 with the game's launch, while the last tour, the 2019 Holiday Tour , began on December 18 and ended on December 31.

2020 [ edit ]

The first tour of 2020, the 2020 New Year's Tour , began on January 1, while the last tour, the New Year's 2021 Tour , began on December 30 and ended on January 12, 2021.

2021 [ edit ]

The first tour of 2021, the Berlin Tour , began on January 13, while the last tour, the New Year's 2022 Tour , began on December 29 and ended on January 11, 2022.

2022 [ edit ]

The first tour of 2022, the Singapore Tour , began on January 12, while the last tour, the 2023 New Year's Tour , began on December 28 and ended on January 10, 2023.

2023 [ edit ]

The first tour of 2023, the 2023 Space Tour , began on January 11. The last original tour, the Anniversary Tour , began on September 20. Following tours are reruns of previous tours, starting with the Battle Tour from 2022, beginning on October 4.

Ε δώ και λίγη ώρα είναι διαθέσιμο το νέο mobile game της Nintendo , το οποίο μπορείς να κατεβάσεις από τώρα στη συσκευή σου, αρκεί να χρησιμοποιεί λειτουργικό σύστημα Android 4.4+ ή iOS 10.0+.

Το Mario Kart Tour είναι διαθέσιμο δωρεάν, αλλά απαιτείται λογαριασμός Nintendo για να παίξεις. Mario Kart Tour's fun is spoiled by Nintendo's greedy free-to-play tactics [New Game of the Week]

Nintendo has a pretty clear strategy for bringing its cherished franchises to mobile: make the core gameplay feel as close to the "real thing" as possible, but be sure to monetize the ever-living crap out of practically everything else.

This is the case with Mario Kart Tour , which is actually a pretty fun casual racing game to play in short bursts, but also forces you to slowly unlock every kart and character by progressing through each two-week tour, or by pumping money into buying loot pipes and gold coins and subscribing to a monthly Gold Pass membership. Yes, you can play the game for free, but you're really incentivized to spend cash to unlock the specific characters you actually want to race as. I'm coming for you, Yoshi!

Much like Super Mario Run , Mario Kart Tour is designed to be played with one hand. Your kart automatically accelerates and you simply swipe left or right to turn and swipe and hold to drift and build up boost in the corners.

Rather than letting you freely select which tracks to race on, everything is broken down into character-themed Cups with three two-lap races and a special challenge. New Cups are unlocked by collecting Grand Stars. There are five Grand Stars available for each race which are awarded based on your total bonus points earned during each race. Bonus points are calculated based on the character and karts you're using, your ability to link together boosts and skilled play during the race, and of course your finishing position.

The racing action is pretty good in spite of the limitations Nintendo has imposed here. That includes a very limited selection of tracks and restricting all races to just two laps, invisible bumper walls along the edges of each track that prevent you from careening going off course (I guess Laikitu was unavailable for his usual Mario Kart duties) and the auto-acceleration and steering assists that basically lets the game play itself.

Mario Kart Tour is a fine example of how free-to-play monetization tactics can spoil an otherwise great game.

Each Tour race makes it seem like you're racing live against other players, but I've taken a call during a race and returned to find the race in progress at the exact moment I switched away from the app. Any other mobile game that offers true online multiplayer would boot you from the match or race for leaving early, but here you're able to complete the match with absolutely no penalty. There is a dedicated multiplayer mode in the main menu but that only will be introduced in a future update.

There's a mix of strategy and randomness to each race with characters, karts, and parachutes getting special bonuses on specific tracks. The item box RNG is still the great equalizer that it is in every other Mario Kart title, and leads to the frantic craziness that we all love and hate.

There's a lot to collect and unlock here. The coins you collect during each race can be spent on characters and karts in the and there are also rubies which are earned by completing challenges and unlocking gifts — but you can also buy them via in-app purchases. Rubies are especially important for unlocking random characters through loot box mechanics (sigh) or, most likely, collecting duplicates of characters you've already unlocked (double sigh) which you collect to level up your characters for incremental stat boosts (infinite sighs).

Mario Kart Tour currently features 20 playable characters, with Wario and Luigi being notable exclusions at launch. Odds are they will be introduced as unlockable characters in future tours, or, more likely, locked away behind the $5 a month Gold Pass subscription.

Whether you think it's worth dropping your hard earned cash into Mario Kart Tour is up to you. The Gold Pass lets you earn more rewards and unlock exclusive characters (Metal Mario is the first Gold Pass character available), and you'll always be enticed to buy rubies to unlock new characters or participate in a Gold Rush race that fills the course with coins to collect.

To its benefit, Mario Kart Tour offers good variety of gameplay that's perfectly suited for mobile play and you're sure to have some good fun progressing through the cups. I ultimately wish this was a premium game that didn't rely so heavily on in-app monetization, but Nintendo has done enough to keep you checking back for new races and challenges to complete.

Mario Kart has finally arrived on mobile, but you're going to have to grind — or pay — to play as your favorite Nintendo characters in this free-to-play release.

Mario Kart Tour Impressions: A shell of the real deal, but a decent time-killer

I’ve been a fan of Mario Kart for years, with probably hundreds of hours under my belt on the Wii, 3DS, and even Switch versions of the game. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when Nintendo announced last year that it would be bringing an official Mario Kart game to mobile devices in the form of “Tour.” Sadly, after trying out the closed beta for a while, I’m left with a game that’s nothing but a time-killer that’s just a shell of the racing game I’ve loved.

In last weekly roms, mario kart game freezes & crash each time. I have seen this problem is not just a bug in Mi 9. I have check that other users have same problem in other models like Mi 8 or redmi note 8. Hope to get this solved soon. Thanks.

Termina el tour de 'Mario Kart Tour': no tendrá más contenido a partir del mes que viene

'Mario Kart Tour' llegó a nuestros móviles en 2019 como una versión simplificada del popular juego de carreras. Con el tiempo, el juego mejoró añadiendo funciones que no venían inicialmente, como el modo multijugador y el modo horizontal . Cuatro años más tarde, está a punto de terminar su soporte .

Uno de los pilares de 'Mario Kart Tour' está en su nombre, los tours. El juego nos llevaba a distintas ciudades del mundo y/o eventos periodicamente, dándonos buenos motivos para volver a jugarlo. Habrá dos tours finales y no más : a partir de entonces, se empezará a reciclar el contenido creado en estos cuatro años.

'Mario Kart Tour' se queda sin nuevo contenido

'Mario Kart Tour' fue en su momento el mejor lanzamiento de Nintendo para móviles y una de las formas que encontró Nintendo para mantener el interés fue la actualización constante con nuevo contenido con nuevos circuitos, personajes, coches y planeadores, empaquetados en los denominados tours temáticos de ciudades o eventos.

Los cuatro años que el juego ha recibido actualizaciones han dado para muchos tours, tantos que Nintendo ha decidido que son suficientes. A partir del 10 de octubre no recibirá más contenido y se empezarán a reciclar los ya existentes.

Una noticia por tanto agridulce para sus jugadores. Si bien el juego se queda en fase de mantenimiento, lo cual nunca es un buen indicativo del futuro del mismo y podría terminar cerrando del todo, al menos será posible seguir jugándolo por el momento y no hay una fecha para su cierre final, por ahora.

Los siguientes tours de Mario Kart Tour darán comienzo el 20 de septiembre (Anniversary Tour) y el 4 de octubre (Battle Tour), que será el último con nuevo contenido. Desde entonces, incluyendo el próximo Halloween Tour del 18 de octubre, serán reciclados .
