How to choose a helicopter tour in Kaua‘i

Mar 25, 2022 • 5 min read

Waipo'o Falls is a fantastic waterfall on Kokee Stream dropping 800 ft. in two tiers. It is located in the heart of the Waimea Canyon.

Seeing Kauaʻi from the air is a thrilling and singular experience that may just define your trip to the Garden Island.

While expensive, it’s the only way to see much of the island, the majority of which is privately owned. Helicopter tours are by far the most popular option: while planes can fly no lower than 1000–1500ft, helicopters are allowed to fly as low as 500ft and can hover, too. The tours are popular with honeymooners – and with everyone who loves the romance of nature.

Here’s our guide to the best plane tours and helicopter tours in Kauaʻi.

How much is a helicopter tour?

The most popular way to see Kauaʻi from the air is to take a helicopter ride. Most helicopter tour companies depart from the airport in Lihuʻe ; trips generally last 60 to 90 minutes, and start at around $229. Tip: make reservations online ahead of time to save a bit of money.

The rugged coast of Kauai as seen from a helicopter above

How to choose a helicopter tour

It’s worth doing some careful research before choosing an operator. You’ll have to decide what kind of aircraft and tour you want (some land in neat places), and whether you want the doors on or off (some passengers like the visibility, others don’t like the exposure to wind and possibly rain).

Doors-off helicopters are the way to go if you are an avid photographer (and don't suffer from vertigo). But expect conditions that are noisy and windy – and maybe just a little bit scary. Keep in mind that on a six-seater helicopter, two people may be stuck in the middle. While you can request a window seat, it’s the captain has discretion to move people around for weight balance.

You also get to choose from big-window, little-window and bubble helicopters (the last like the ones seen on M*A*S*H ). The big differences will always be visibility and noise. More-modern helicopters are quieter and generally have big windows. You always wear headphones so you can talk with fellow passengers with a lower din, but even a slight reduction in sound can make your trip more pleasant. Then again, some of the older, louder helicopters have a sweet, retro,  Magnum P.I. –esque vibe that makes for a thrilling ride.

Make sure to check your operator’s weather policy before booking. Rain delays do happen, and tour routes will vary depending on rain and winds. Cancellations or postponements by operators may happen on short notice. Consider booking early during your stay, so you can reschedule for later if need be.

To check any tour company’s comprehensive safety record, consult the National Transportation Safety Board accident database .

Safety and apparel recommendations

Ideally, strap everything down (hats, phones, cameras, etc.). It can get a little cold, so bring a jacket and long pants, plus decent shoes in case your tour includes a landing.

Always approach a helicopter from the front (never the back). The captain will generally indicate which side you should board. Put your head down, and hold onto your hat, just like they do in the movies – then relax and look outward as you listen to ongoing narration from the knowledgeable pilots. You can feel free to tip them afterward, but it’s not required.

An aerial shot of cliffs plunging to the lush Nualolo Valley in Kauaʻi

Where do helicopter tours go?

From Lihuʻe, expect to see the Nawiliwili Harbor and the Menehune Fishpond, Kipu Kai and the Tunnel of Trees, Manawaiopuna Falls in Hanapepe Valley, Olokele Canyon, Waimea Canyon, the Na Pali Coast , North Shore beaches like Keʻe and Hanalei , and Mt Waiʻaleʻale. While the rips up impossibly steep canyons are an adrenaline junkie’s dream, it’s really the close proximity to waterfalls – many of which can only be seen from the air – that makes these trips amazing.

The tours generally follow pretty standardized routes, but you can talk with your pilot to customize your tour experience, especially if it’s just you and your family or sweetheart taking the flight. This means getting closer to (or further away from) the ground, making more acrobatic banking turns or going with a more easy-breezy approach – however way you wish to fly.

For a really unique trip, consider a tour with Niʻihau Helicopters ($465 per person), which flies over much of Niʻihau island (avoiding the population center of Puʻuwai), then ends with snorkeling off one of the island’s beaches. Lunch, snacks and drinks are included (with a five-person minimum required).

Best helicopter operators in Kaua‘i

  • Island Helicopters offers a landing on top of Manawaiopuna Falls, more commonly known as Jurassic Falls.
  • Mauna Loa Helicopters is noteworthy for the chance to fly with no doors...freaky but fun.
  • Jack Harter Helicopters lets you take a flight with one of the pioneers of flight tourism on the island.
  • Blue Hawaiian Helicopters flies high-end choppers that are said to be less noisy.
  • Safari Helicopters offers an ecotour with a 40-minute stop at a wildlife refuge.

A woman laughs as she flies in a biplane over Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i

Fixed-wing scenic flights

When you can take a helicopter right to the cone of Mt Waiʻaleʻale and hover there to your heart’s content, there seems to be little point in choosing a fixed-wing aircraft to tour Kauaʻi. There is one exception, however: a tour in an open-cockpit biplane, which flies so slowly it may as well be hovering.

The combination of the romance of early aviation, the sensation of the wind and roaring engine, and the emerald tropical island sliding below – not to mention sitting so close to your cabin-mate you may as well be in an embrace – makes this many a honeymooner’s first choice.

In fact, if it were up to passengers, biplanes would probably be as popular as helicopters on Kauaʻi, but there’s currently only one company that offers these scenic flights: AirVentures Hawaii , based in Lihuʻe. The tour leaves from Lihuʻe Airport and takes you north past the Wailua River and Kilauea Lighthouse . From there, you travel up the lush Hanalei Valley, continuing over the ridge to see cascading waterfalls and 4000ft cliffs. The flight then continues north past Hanalei to the Na Pali Coast, soaring past waterfalls and canyon drops through Waimea Canyon, and back to the South Shore, where you might just spot your hotel. The company even lets you keep the cool throwback hat and goggles as a souvenir of your only-in-Kauaʻi adventure.

Don’t take our word for it – get the jack harter helicopters experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

We did the doors off Kauai helicopter tour. We have previously done a helicopter ride with a different company on Kauai and Jack Harter is definitely above the rest in terms of customer service and friendliness. We had Stephanie as our pilot and she was great. We felt very safe the entire time and she made sure to point out many spots to look out for as we passed over them. Yes it is pricey but this is some of the best money to be spent on Kauai and one of the few ways that you can see the entire island.

This was our first helicopter experience and we did the doors off tour. It was hands down the most beautiful experience ever. It was a bit cloudy/rainy but we got to see some amazing rainbows and great waterfalls. Our pilot was Preston, he was super friendly and made us feel very safe and comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the island and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this!

AMAZING experience - even as someone who is afraid of heights, the doors-off helicopter ride was a major highlight of our trip! Worth every penny. Such a unique and up-close way to see the island. We had to reschedule our original flight due to bad weather -- which we really appreciated their commitment to safety and also to making sure we got to see everything! -- and the day we rescheduled for was PERFECT weather and visibility. So I recommend taking their advice to book the flight for early in your trip so you have time to reschedule if needed!

These guys are pros and deliver an extraordinary experience. Check in was organized and gracious. All the staff are friendly and informative. Safety procedures will make you confident in the journey. Our pilot, Preston, was great at narrating the scenery as well as warning us of any upcoming turbulence. The entire flight was smooth with little turbulence and jaw dropping views. Can't recommend highly enough!!

We rode with Eli doing the full island tour (1h). It was a doors on flight with 2 other guests though the helicopter seated 6 so we had lots of room and great views. Eli was an incredible guide, did a great job of entertaining us and giving us history of the island, as well as being very calming to one of the passengers who was quite nervous about flying. 10/10 experience. I am glad we chose to schedule early in our trip because we ended up having to reschedule to 2 days later. Well worth the wait. Also just as an aside, being that there was a mist/sprinkling on and off during our tour, as it often seem to be according to the staff, I’m really glad we chose doors on!

Even though a doors off helicopter ride could sound scary and overwhelming, we are so glad we chose this company. From start to finish, they made the whole experience so seamless. Most importantly we felt safe throughout the entire process!!! We loved our pilot Max and the safety instructors were fun and hilarious! This experience was 10/10 and we will definitely tell our family and friends!!! Thanks for making this such a beautiful memory for us.

From the staff answering the phones, inside the office, the shuttle lady to the pilot this place was hands down the most professional well staffed helicopter tour I have EVER been on. Our pilot was very safe, knowledgeable and personable with us. We had an excellent time with the doors off tour and highly recommended it. I will be back with my kids next year. Thank you!

View Bali Hai, also known as the Makana Mountain, which starts at the beginning of the Na Pali Coast on the north shore of Kauai. Soar over Manawaiopuna Falls, one of the Garden Isle’s most famous waterfalls . Best known from the opening of the 1993 blockbuster film, Jurassic Park. Watch from above as the water rushes over a 380-foot tall cliff surrounded by walls of deep green lush flora. Located within Hanapēpē Valley on the west side of the island, it is a site few can say they have seen while on Kauai.

Continue on over to Hanalei Bay which covers nearly two miles of beach and is backed by 4000ft tall emerald mountains: Hihimanu is on the east, Namolokama is in the middle with its square top, and the triangular shaped Mamalahoa is to the west. Often cloaked with a mist of clouds the Mt. Waialeale ridge home to dozens of cascading waterfalls.

The name Waialeale, meaning “rippling water or overflowing” receives over 400 inches of rain per year and is known to be one of the wettest spots on earth. You’re surrounded by enchanting waterfalls and lush green walls of fauna. Waialeale Crater aka Blue Hole & The Weeping Wall. From above you will see it all and find yourself lost in the beauty and mystery of Kauai’s enchanting lure.

Other sites like the Wailua Falls and Waimea Canyon are also famous aerial sites on the Doors-Off Adventure Tour.

Short answer is “yes”. However, rest assured, prior to every flight our pilots and ground crew review the weather to make sure it is not only safe, but also conducive to a quality tour for you. We understand that this is a big expenditure, and we want to make sure you get your money’s worth. We will cancel your tour and make sure you get a full refund if there is poor visibility, or if the pilot determines the winds are unsafe.

We give a 100% refund for cancellations made 48 hours before the tour date. If there is inclement weather or unscheduled maintenance, we will either reschedule your tour or issue a 100% refund. Keep in mind that if the tour is booked with a third party, their cancellation and refund policy may differ from ours.

All guests must provide their own transportation. We recommend Taxi, Uber, or Lyft. We ask guests to allow an extra 15 minutes of travel time due to unforeseen traffic, to arrive early or on time for their check in.

The doors-off helicopter tour is extremely windy. We recommend comfortable athletic wear, no loose shirts, or dresses, or skirts. Closed-toe shoes or sandals with a heel strap. Hair should be secured in a bun or tightly braided, no loose ponytails or braids. Temperatures are 10-15 degrees cooler and we recommend a windbreaker or a jacket to protect against the wind chill.

All of the tour times we offer are great times to view the island. Time is personal preference whether you like to be an early bird and do activities first thing in the morning, or take your time and do a later tour midday or afternoon.

You may reschedule or cancel your tour for a full refund if done 48 hours prior to the tour date and time. It should be noted that it does rain almost every day in Hawaii. Most of the time it is in very small areas at a time, which does not affect our tours. So we do not recommend cancelling or rescheduling based on a forecast of rain.

Front Seat upgrades are the two seats in the front with the pilot. Selecting these seats guarantees the seating assignment if the two passengers’ body weights combined do not exceed the 345 pounds weight limit. The front seats are sold only as a pair together, whether it is for one or two people. The open seating is any seat in the helicopter. Open class seating is assigned by body weights. For solo passengers, we try our best to accommodate a seat next to the open door. For couples, we seat you two together in the same row. For a party of three, we either seat two passengers in the front and the third passenger in the rear seat, or vice versa depending on the weights. For a party of four passengers, we will seat accordingly by each body weight, typically the two body weights that are the lightest combined at, or under, 345 pounds will be seated in the front. For any seating, you may add a request upon booking. We do not guarantee seating nor assign seating until the day of the tour. Premium Plus seatings are for any guests that weigh 240lbs/109kg or more. An additional seat is blocked and reserved to ensure the combined passenger weight does not exceed the aircraft limitation of 745lbs/339kg.

Because this is a doors-off helicopter tour operation we must take extra steps — in accordance with FAA regulations — to make sure nothing flies out of the helicopter in flight. A phone flying out the door could hurt someone on the ground, or even damage the helicopter if it hits the spinning rotors. Requiring a tether for your phone allows you to enjoy the tour without having to worry about it slipping out of your hands and being lost forever. If you do not have a phone tether, one will be available for your use.

The minimum age requirement is 10 years old. A responsible adult must be seated next to any child. No lap children are allowed, and each person is required to wear a seat belt.

808-651-0619 or use our Contact Form

Weight Restrictions: Front Seats are sold as a pair only, with a maximum combined weight limit of 340lbs/154kg. Guests weighing more than 240lbs./109kg and parties of two (2) with a combined weight of more than 400lbs./182kg, must reserve (1) one additional seat at the regular price. Private Tour 4 guest maximum weight limit is 745lbs/338kg.

Age Restrictions: Minimum age 10 years.

The flight soars past waterfalls, the Kilauea Lighthouse, Lumahai Beach and Waimea Canyon, among other sites. The sights earn rave reviews, and many travelers offer equivalent praise for the pilots.

Flights depart daily in both the morning and afternoon. Air Ventures Hawaii also operates private tours.

Airborne Aviation – Hughes 500 Doors-Off Helicopter

Price: From $319 Duration: 50 minutes

If you're up for an adventure, or just want to capture some spectacular photos, consider this doors-off tour from Airborne Aviation. Flights are limited to four passengers, meaning everyone enjoys a window seat. Without the barrier of windows or doors, you'll be able to snap incredible images of Kauai’s shoreline, waterfalls and canyons. Flyers rave about the views and the skilled, professional pilots. Reviewers do warn, however, that without doors or windows, the ride is quite windy.

Flights are offered daily starting as early as 8:15 a.m. Private tours are also an option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fees for Kauai helicopter tours start at $309 per person. However, prices will vary by company, tour length and inclusions.

Tipping is not required, but if you'd like to provide a monetary gesture of gratitude to your pilot/guide, plan to tip between $15 and $20 per person.

Weight limits may vary based on the aircraft, but Federal Aviation Administration regulations state that individual passengers cannot weigh more than 275 pounds and the total group cannot weigh than 650 pounds. In order for the pilot to determine weight distribution in the aircraft, you'll likely be asked to provide your weight at check-in or booking.

The Thrill of a Lifetime!

kauai helicopter tour cost

The Experience:

  •  Kauai is home to some of the most amazing scenery in the world. Many locations can only be seen by air. An aerial flight reveals these hidden treasures. It’s an experience that is truly magical. Each flight will take you clockwise around the flight. With ideal weather, a few highlights will include Jurassic Park Falls, Waimea Canyon, Na Pali, Hanalei Valley & Wai'ale'ale Crater. Flight times range from 45 - 60 minutes. For extra thrill, consider booking one with no doors! At Kauai Helicopter Adventures that is our specialty.

Top Helicopter Tour Options

Hughes 500 - doors off helicopter tours.

  • Doors off helicopter tours of Kauai are the most exciting aerial flight you can take. The open-air experience will leave you breathless and in possession of some absolutely epic photos if you are keen to get some good shots. We can usually guarantee you a window or front seat as most of our doors off flights take fewer people.

ASTAR - 5-6 Passenger Charters

  • These helicopters feature a setup of two passengers up front (next to the pilot) and four seats in the back. They are flown with the doors on and are far and away the most popular helicopter tour available in Kauai. You'll find pricing to be a little cheaper and in most cases, it is possible for us to get you those two spots up front.

R44 - 2-3 Passenger Private Flights

Our Robinson 44 (R44) Helicopters are hands down the best flightseeing helicopter tour in Kauai. The seating area is nothing but open glass. Rach guest can choose whether they want to fly with their door on or off. We recommend off for even better visibility! Our flight times range from 50-60 minutes and all flights depart from Lihue. For larger groups, we can often fly 2 or more helicopters at the same time so consider that if like this option but have more than three people.

We do airplanes too! Explore a fantastic low-cost way of seeing Kauai from the air. The route taken is similar to that of a helicopter tour. The difference is perspective. Airplanes provide a broader, more landscape viewing experience that is quite breathtaking. A helicopter can get much closer but the view an airplane provides of Kauai is also stunning. Airplane flights are also a lot cheaper. We offer group charters of up to six passengers or private tours that can take 2-3 passengers.

R44 | These can be flown with the doors on or off

Hughes 500 | Doors Off!

ASTAR | Doors On or off!

Great pictures and recommendation for my trip to Kauai. Are helicopter tours or small chesna aircraft better for tour? Many Thanks Tako

Helicopter tours are better as we explain here: https://www.govisithawaii.com/2009/11/30/hawaii-helicopter-vs-plane-scenic-tours/

Hi Sheila :). Would you recommend to do it in the morning or afternoon? Thanks!

We just did a helicopter tour with Island Helicopters— it was fantastic! We were on the fence about doing it, but I’m so glad we did. You see so much of the island that you wouldn’t otherwise. Island Helicopters is a great company—locally (Kaua’i) owned and our pilot Brody grew up on the island and was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Island Helicopters!

Kauai helicopter tours – tickets, prices, timings

Kauai Island helicopter tours

A helicopter tour is the best way to see Kauai, which many consider to be nature’s masterpiece.

Also called ‘Garden Isle,’ this Hawaiian island is made up of lush green valleys, evergreen jungles, sea cliffs, beautiful waterfalls, and long winding rivers.

More than 70% of Kauai Island is inaccessible by road, and as luck would have it, it is these parts where the most stunning sights exist.

Around 100 helicopters take-off every day, ferrying excited tourists over Kauai’s scenic attractions.

This article covers everything you need to know before booking a helicopter tour in Kauai.

But there is no doubt that a Kauai heli tour is a perfect addition to your trip over this island.

The Deluxe helicopter tour in Kauai allows you a magical sightseeing tour of the island within an hour.

The 50-minute Kauai heli tour also offers the “early bird or late bird option” at a lower cost price.

Highlights of most helicopter tours in  Kauai  include the 27 km (17 miles) long Na Pali Coast in the North and Waimea Canyon, which is also known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific.’

Other than these two, the other sights you see include Jurassic Park Falls, the Hanapepe Valley, the Hanalei Valley, Mt. Waialeale, etc.

These are also known as Kauai doors off helicopter tours because these involve choppers that don’t have doors.

The only advantage of a doors-off helicopter tour is the more unobstructed view because of the lack of glass between you and what is on the ground.

Doors off helicopter tours in Kauai

Note: Check-in is an hour prior to tour time for check-in, safety briefing and boarding for an on-time departure. Late arrivals will not be accepted and non-refundable. You must allow ample travel time to the tour base in case of traffic delays.

Private Kauai heli ride starts its journey from Lihue Airport Commuter Terminal, 3745 Ahukini Rd, Lihue, HI 96766, USA. Get directions

Deluxe helicopter tour in Kauai takes off from 3225 Akahi St, Lihue, HI 96766, USA. Get directions

Private Kauai heli ride takes off between 7.30 am and 4.15 pm every day.

Kauai deluxe helicopter tour takes place between 8.25 am and 3.50 pm on all days of the week.

Since a helicopter tour over Kauai island is a visual experience, it is best to take off between 12 noon and 3 pm when the light is much better and the skies are clear.

Since Kauai’s valleys, canyons, and Na Pali Coast are full of shadows and ridges, you need the intense afternoon light to make a better sense of what you are seeing.

The best time of the year

The best time of year for a helicopter tour in Kauai is summer.

You are more likely to avoid the storms, which can often delay or cancel flights.

Winter is also not a good time for doors-off helicopter tours as the weather gets a lot more unpredictable.

Besides, once you are up in the air, the wind can be freezing even on a warm day.

Not to mention, you could get exposed to rain in case it drizzles.

Tour operators such as Mauna Loa Helicopters, Air Kauai Helicopters, Airborne Aviation Tours, and Ali’i Kauai Air Tours and Charters offer the doors-off option.

The prices are a bit higher for the doors-off experience than for doors-on helicopter tours.

Check out  Jackson’s experience  on a doors-off helicopter tour in Kauai.

Weight limits apply for safe and comfortable helicopter rides over Kauai.

A minimum and maximum number of passengers are required on these tours, failing which, they will be canceled.

Infants and children are allowed onboard, but infants must sit on the caregiver’s lap throughout the flight.

No scuba diving within 24 hours of departure.

Bags, large cameras, extending selfie sticks are not allowed on Kauai heli rides.

A valid photo ID is required.

Deluxe Waterfall Safari and Private Kauai doors on/off helicopter tour are not wheelchair accessible.

No pets are allowed onboard except service animals.

Check in at least an hour early.

Flight times are approximate based on winds, weights, and conditions.

Seating arrangements may often be in the hands of the tour organizers for a safe and stable flight.

Kauai heli tours do not include hotel transfers and food and drinks.

HD video of the actual flight on USB (available to purchase) and refreshments are excluded from your ticket.

Your ticket price is also not inclusive of gratuities and parking fees at the heliport.

Kauai ECO Adventure helicopter tour and Ultimate Kauai helicopter adventure are completely accessible to guests with disabilities.

The aircraft, transportation, and surfaces are completely wheelchair accessible, preventing any inconvenience for the guests.

Soar With Us in the Hawaiian Skies!

I took my son for a holiday gift and was a bit nervous, but the ride was very smooth and actually calming. It was an enjoyable ride and loved seeing all the breathtaking views from the a much different vantage point. It was an incredible experience that we’ll always remember.

The ground crew were efficient and helpful, our pilot was highly experienced, professional and very informative about the island, as well as being very entertaining. It was a great tour and a great experience - highly recommended.

Sunshine helicopters did an amazing job of flying our family into the Waimea canyon, thru the waterfalls and around the Napali coast. Our pilot was extremely skilled and a great guide of the sights! The flight was smooth and comfortable but we were in awe and amazement of the scenery.

So thankful for my daughter who read up about helicopter tours on our first visit to Kauai. No other way to experience the untouched beauty of this island. Happy with sunshine helicopters and enjoyed Steve, our pilot. Funny and informative, made the trip special! No regrets and got spectacular pictures!

A helicopter tour is a must on Kaua'i if you want to really see the island. Sunshine staff was great from the gals at the sign in, to the safety briefing and ride to the airport, and then the flight itself. We opted for the 1st class flight on the whisper helicopter and it was worth the small difference in price to sit in the two front seats for the unobstructed views. Our pilot, Jed, was great and provided tons of information about the island. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

Most excellent experience even on a very rainy day across Kauai. Don't let the rain stop you from going on the tour. Despite the rain, we were able to get a very clear view of every point on the island and the extra rain only added to the amount of waterfalls that were able to be seen. Our pilot and ground staff were all great. Highly recommend Sunshine Helicopters in Lihue.

My son and I sat up front in the Whisper Star, the experience was incredible! Jaw dropping, unreal beauty. Everyone I spoke to and met at Sunshine was friendly and professional. Jed, the pilot, is competent and pleasant. We had a great time and got the video. Unreal beauty on Kauai.

The helicopter tour was amazing - we saw all the best known spots and also some where no one has ever walked before. Our pilot made sure we also got some adrenaline rush, but just the right amount! He also provided us with great explanation of what we were seeing and what to look out for. Would definitely recommend!

This excursion was unbelievable! Could not have been any better. All staff were exceptional. In over 55 years of travel this was one of the best “adventures “ I’ve ever experienced

This awe-inspiring aerial adventure over the Garden Isle of Kauai. You’ll experience breathtaking Hanapepe Valley with sweeping views of the lush valleys below.  Plunging a 400-foot (120m) cliff, view the famed and privately owned waterfall “Jurassic Park” Falls or Manawaiopuna Falls.  Olokele Canyon and majestic Waimea Canyon are rightly known as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.”  This canyon has a unique geologic history as it was formed by erosion and the catastrophic collapse of the volcano that created Kauai millions of years ago.

Spanning over 15 miles (15km), take in the best views of the sacred Na Pali Coasts’ razor-sharp ridges and cliffs as high as 4,000 feet (1200m) towering above the Pacific Ocean.  Spot beautiful secluded beaches and thundering waterfalls among lush green valleys along the way.  Watch for the pyramid-shaped mountain peak – Mount Makana or Bali Hai before rounding the north shore to the renowned Hanalalei.  Before landing at the Princeville airport, capture images of the nearly 2-mile (3.2km) beach-favorite ocean activity spot of Hanalei Bay.

You must do this if you’re going to Kauai! Gotta say I was a little reluctant to go because I thought it was pricey, but my wife convinced me to go and it ended up being a fantastic time! This helicopter tour was the most amazing thing we did on our stay on Kauai! The views were incredible and I got the best photos. Jurassic Park waterfall and the Na Pali coast were two of my most favorite view points. The helicopter pilot was very informative and even though we had a little rain it was a perfect flight. Waterfalls were amazing.
