Would stay again. Very nice staff, plenty of parking. Two pools and spa. Clean rooms with everything needed. Quiet area. Can walk to Main Street. Included breakfast by pool. Tables etc. next time I'm in the east coast I'll be there.

Stayed here for one night and honestly that's all I could take. This place needs some serious TLC. For starters, the rooms and overall property need to be updated. Our room was outdated. It had rust, stains, and just an old feeling to it. It did it's job for the one night but I wasn't wowed by any means. Wouldn't come here for vacation, but more for just a place to spend the night. Breakfast was a very weird experience. It's served in the pool house...yeah, read that again. They opened the pool at 9:30, and since the breakfast tables are literally parallel to the pool, I got splashed by kids jumping into it. The breakfast food was also...an effort. They also didn't mention the stairs when I booked this place. I asked for the first floor because someone in my party had limited mobility. They failed to mention that the first floor was actually on a lower level. None of the rooms were street level to my knowledge and they have no elevators. There were only four steps from the lobby to the first floor but still this can be an issue. The staff was nice and I can tell they are trying their best but this place needs some serious love and attention.

Like our review! We had an excellent stay at Hyannis Travel Inn and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. We stayed for 6 nights and it was a great joy as part of our Cape Cod vacation, traveling to nearby cities like Nantucket, Provincetown, Chatham, Yarmouth, and Falmouth. What hits this place out of the ballpark was the downright hospitality of Cliff and his staff. As former Airbnb Superhosts, we felt welcomed and assisted from checkin to checkout including recommendations and stories (ask for his recommendation on clam chowder). Sure, other reviews might note how dated the place is but nothing justifies a lower score. We researched several places before staying here and we didn't regret our decision. What saved us a lot of gas money was the walkability: the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard was about a 15 minute walk and nearby Main Street had plenty of options for a meal, dessert, or drinks! There was plentiful free parking for our rental car. Morning breakfast was simple with muffins, pastries, bagels, yogurt, coffee, juice, and tea. In our room, we appreciated near to instant hot water at the sink and shower, the effective toilet, heater and air conditioner, Keurig coffee, fridge, balcony, and daily housekeeping. Bring an extension cord for any accessories near your bed. Although we didn't take a dip, seeing the pool and jacuzzi used by families was tempting for a swim! We can't wait to come back to Hyannis Travel Inn in the future!

We have family to visit on the Cape. My husband and I stayed at the Inn in early May. We found it a perfect location, stag was awesome, our clean and comfortable. Was it an old Inn, yes. Was it clean, yes. Do they provide anything you might, yes. And to top that, they include a lite breakfast for their guests. If you want a full meal, go across the road to downtown Hyannis that is lined with all kinds of restaurants. Loved this place and have recommended it to other that visit that area. In fact, we are on our back north to the Cape with the rest of our family tomorrow. Where are we staying? Hyannis Travel Inn

Great hotel with friendly customer service from helping make ferry reservations to everything in between. Ferry's walking distance from hotel which was very nice! Breakfast had a lot of selections and we were able to take some muffins to go for our early Nantucket excursion. Rooms clean with keurig in room. Would definitely recommend.

I would definitely stay there again, the staff could not have been nicer. They made me feel very special. The room was clean. Cliff and Patrick were great! I requested a first floor room but then changed my mind and they were extremely accommodating and carried my luggage for me. The location could not have been better. The hotel was less than 1 mile from the Barnstable airport where I returned my rental car. The Peter Pan bus is less than 1 mile away and goes to the Logan airport. The shops and JFK museum are within walking distance as are the shops and restaurants. The free breakfast was nice with tables inside and out. Parking was very easy and convenient in the hotel parking lot. The price was great. At the last minute I had to cancel the first day of my 3 day reservation. There was no problem doing so. The hotel was quiet. Cliff helped me to print my boarding pass for my flight back home. I enjoyed a peaceful dip in the jacuzzi. Nothing fancy but definitely relaxing, clean, friendly, and convenient.

Excellent location for restaurants and shops on Main Street. Staff very professional and accommodating. Rooms are clean. Will stay there again when visiting Hyannis.

If you're looking for a comfortable stay in a nice hotel then this place is great. It has comfortable and clean beds. The staff was very friendly and even asked us what we were planning to do for the day. The man at the front desk recommended some great stuff to do in Rhode Island. Our room was spacious. It came with a refrigerator and a Keurig machine for your coffee in the morning. Our room also had a pretty good size flat screen tv. Next to the check in there was a indoor pool that is kept warm and the hot tub was kept even hotter. I believe the pool closed at 9pm. Our stay here was amazing. It was nice and quiet during the night. The only downside was that our room was on the third floor and there were no elevators. They do ask if it's ok to put you on the third floor level. So travel light if you get the third floor. They offer complimentary continental breakfast until 10:30am in the indoor pool area. They had all the bagels you can think of, waffle, bread (White/whole wheat), cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee, orange juice, and milk.

Made reservations over a month ago for a long weekend trip for our anniversary. Pulled in, went inside and the gentleman asks us if we are there to check in? We say we are and he tells us they have no power, haven't had power for a couple days and we can't check in because of that. Their computers don't work, their phones don't work, and they can't help us. Yet there are people staying there. He says to try the Comfort Inn down the street that has power, but they're booked up now. So now we are in a mad scramble to find accommodations, and all they can say is sorry. We got no phone call, no email, no notification of any kind from them. To me, that's piss poor treatment. Most places would help you find another place to stay, but not this crew. We won't ever be back.

We booked here during our tour of New England as it was close to Cape Cod and for the price I was willing to give it a shot. For under $100 per night (like around $80) we not only got the cleanest room of our entire vacation, but also the friendliest staff I think I ever had during a hotel stay from the front desk man to the woman caring for our breakfast area, all were outstanding, friendly, informative, and more welcoming than I ever expected. The room was very clean, from the perfectly made beds, to the bathroom with towels folded into fancy shells. Nothing was out of place and we found the private balcony off our room over looking the neighborhood to be a nice unexpected perk during our stay. It's one block off the main street in Hyannis where you can walk up and down and see tons of great shops, restaurants, bars and more. We took a nice walk down to the harbor area and found a great little seafood eatery where we had a nice meal on the dock. There's a great park like setting there too and it's just a great place to walk around and soak up the local vibe. It's also close to Cape Cod and after seeing some of the prices closer to or on the Cape, I could never imagine paying that much when I was so overly pleased with this hotel. 5 stars all the way!

We found ourselves in need of a room for the night when our ferry to Nantucket got closed down because of Hurricane Lee. We Googled “Hyannis hotels” and this one came up and were pleasantly surprised. The gentleman at the front desk was professional, extremely pleasant to deal with, and very helpful. The bonus: it was very-reasonably-priced and just a block from Main Street, Hyannis, where we spent a pleasant afternoon window-shopping and having lunch. The next day, we also availed ourselves of the Continental breakfast served by the indoor pool. This was a happy find on very short notice. A good deal.

This was a gem of a find. The folks in the office were very kind and accomodating. We extended our stay twice. The rooms were cleaned every day and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Cape Cod.
By far, the most exceptional asset this hotel has to offer is its staff. The front desk staff was as helpful, informative and welcoming as I have ever experienced. In addition, the housekeeping and attendants were equally pleasant and helpful. Thank you Hyannis Travel Inn for a wonderful stay, we'll be back.
This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast had a great choice of pastries, cereals, bagels etc. Restaurants, shops and bars are just around the corner. We would definitely stay again.
For our 3-night stay to visit the Cape and islands, this place may be the best value. 10min walk to ferry terminal is great, one block to the main street for some food and shops. Reasonable price compared to the alternatives nearby. Rooms appear to have had some parts refreshed... our bed and furniture seemed much newer than the bathroom or TV. Showerhead was really poor, and several burnt out bulbs- wouldn't take much to finish the room upgrades. But overall, lots of parking and convenient for our needs... staff clearly tries to provide the amenities and service of a larger hotel with some hits and some misses- but you can sense the effort. We appreciated being given a room on the 3rd floor facing the quieter side street, and the only real noise to disturb our sleep were the early rising seagulls who are ever present (some spike deterrents at the roof peaks might be an idea). Not sure I've ever seen the breakfast food be served literally in the pool area- that was really odd. But there are tables outside in the tiny patio if weather permits. Indoor pool and jacuzzi access is only done thru the main lobby, and the door is locked if the required staff monitor... all 3 of those aspects is awkward. Sign by the jacuzzi says "please shower before entering" but then there isn't a shower to use- kinda sums up the place: they try really hard to have all the pieces, but some things just aren't quite right. Overall, these are very minor and we would recommend this stay for the convenient location and value for a 2-3 night home base.
The customer service is excellent. Having a free breakfast is a big bonus, especially having a kettle so that we could make decent tea! The location is good. Our room (3rd floor inside) was large and quiet. We had huge suitcases, the reception desk helped willingly to carry them up and declined a tip!?!?!! The rooms were cleaned daily and towels were refreshed when requested.
