What is UAE Visit Visa?

A UAE Visit Visa is basically an entry permit required by foreigners who wish to visit the UAE. There are two types of UAE Visit Visa – the Single-Entry Visit Visa and the Multiple-Entry Visit Visa. Both can be issued for 30 or 60 days according to your plans and schedule. While most visitors are tourists lured by the UAE’s world-class attractions, many come for a variety of other reasons. These include exploring job or business opportunities, pursuing educational studies, or seeking medical treatment at internationally-renowned hospitals. Yet more come to visit family and friends living in the UAE while others are simply transiting through the country. Whatever the reason, a UAE Visit Visa is the starting point for your Arabian adventure – contact us today

Eligibility

To apply for a UAE Visit Visa you will need a passport valid for at least 6 months. Some countries have special arrangements with the UAE allowing their citizens to travel without a visa. Instead, these citizens receive a free On Arrival visa when they enter the country. However, citizens of some other countries, such as South Africa , Turkey , Albania , Algeria , Morocco , Egypt , Jordan , India , Pakistan and Sri Lanka must apply for a prepaid visit visa. You will also need to show a return flight ticket when applying and may be asked for some additional documentation. But no need to worry – it’s very easy to apply for a UAE Visit Visa compared to most other countries.

Women and Children

The UAE culture is very protective of women and children and this extends to all its visitors. It is proud of its reputation as one of the safest countries in the world in which to live and to travel. The UAE Visit Visa Rules reflect this by imposing age restrictions to ensure the wellbeing of females and youngsters alike. If you are a female and want to travel to the UAE alone, you must be 18 years of age or above. If you are under 18, you should be accompanied by your parents or guardian. And as a bonus, from July 15 to September 15 each year, your visa will come compliments of the UAE

Parents in UAE: What if one or both of your parents already have a valid UAE work permit? In that case it will be easier for you to get a UAE Visa too. However you may be asked to submit supporting documents for your application.

* Nigerian Applicants Please Note: Nigerian citizens, whether male or female, travelling alone to the UAE, should be 40 years of age or older. The same applies to a Nigerian married woman travelling with children. Certain age restrictions also apply to Nigerian passport holders applying for a 3-month Dubai Visa.

Documents Required

The basic requirements to apply for a UAE visit visa are as follows:

  • A color copy of your passport with a clear scanned photo of excellent definition.
  • A separate recent good color photograph of yourself taken against a white background.

Depending on the country you come from, you may need additional documents, including the following

UAE Visit Visa Validity

If you plan to extend or renew your Visit Visa, you should first know how long it is valid for. You will also want to know whether you get a grace period when the visa expires. This is important because overstaying your visa’s validity period can incur heavy fines.

  • Validity Period: Every type of UAE Visit Visa has its own validity period which dictates how long you can stay. If you don’t have a grace period and remain in the country after expiry, you are ‘overstaying your visa’. For example, a 30-day single-entry visit visa will expire 30 days from your entry date. Similarly a 60-day multiple-entry visit visa will expire 60 days from your first entry but this visa does, of course, allow you to leave and re-enter the UAE numerous times within the 60 days
  • Grace Period: When your UAE Visit Visa expires, you only qualify for a grace period if it is an On-Arrival visa for specific nationalities. The grace period is the time you are allowed to stay in the UAE after your official expiry date. It is a ‘courtesy extension’ and, during this time, you will not be charged any overstaying penalties. If, however, you have a Prepaid Visit Visa, there is no grace period and the expiry date strictly applies.

Extending UAE Visit Visa

If you entered the UAE with a prepaid visa, you can extend it twice. The first extension will be for 30 days and the second will get you another 30 days. Indeed, there are a number of different ways to extend your stay in the UAE, These include crossing the border to a neighboring country or doing the airport to airport visa change. Every year many thousands of visitors to the UAE decide they want to stay longer than originally planned. At Arabiers we know all the options – and take delight in helping you extend your UAE experience.

Most Indian nationals coming to the UAE have to apply for a prepaid UAE Visit Visa. But some Indians residing outside their native country qualify for a 14-day On Arrival Visa by applying in GDRFA (Previously given this speical on arrival in airport, from 2024 May pre apply on arrival visa online). A special regulation introduced in 2017 bestows the privilege on Indian nationals with the following visas and permits:

  • USA Green Card
  • EU Residence Permit valid for at least 6 months
  • UK residence Permit valid for at least 6 months

This particular on-arrival visa, however, is not free – but you will only have to pay 63 USD to get it. And you can extend this visa for another 14 days by paying AED 250 to UAE Immigration.

Six Months UAE Visa

The UAE government, in July 2019, introduced a 6-month UAE visit visa. The visa is available to entrepreneurs, investors, brilliant professionals and students of exceptional distinction. This visa is issued to people who qualify for it and they want to obtain a long-term residence permit to the UAE in some time. If you don’t fall into any of the categories mentioned, you cannot apply for the 6 months UAE visit visa so you can alternatively opt for the regular six months visa.

UAE Immigration Contacts

If you wish to independently contact the relevant immigration authorities like ICP , for any reason, their numbers are below. They will help you with any questions about UAE visa types, the Visa fee and any other general inquiries. They will also assist you in making a personal UAE visit visa validity check if that is what is concerning you.

Which emirate you receive your Visa from does not matter at all. Whether it is issued by Abu Dhabi , Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain is immaterial. You can enter the country through any of the seven emirates and your movements are not restricted in any way. It is a UAE visit visa and you can travel freely with it anywhere in the UAE.

The UAE Mission Visa is a special entry permit issued to professionals traveling to work short-term with a UAE-based company. When you are employed under this visa, the UAE authority considers you to be a ‘probational employee’. The mission visa can only be issued by certain registered UAE companies, so keep in touch with your potential employer. Also note that the Mission Visa is a single-entry visa valid for 90 days. So, if you leave the country before the 90 days are up, your visa gets cancelled automatically. If you have a mission visa, you cannot transfer to a visit visa or apply for a new permit. You must first cancel the mission visa by exiting the country – and only then can you apply anew.

What do you do if you have received a UAE Visit Visa but are now not going to use it? To avoid issues with the immigration authorities, you should cancel it in 30 days. You will be required to pay up to AED 300 to cancel an unused visa. Alternatively you can choose to extend the visa for two months at a cost of AED 200. You should cancel an unused fee because you cannot apply for a new one when the old one has still not been used.

Here is a quick guide on what is allowed and what is prohibited with a UAE visa:

  • Engage in tourism activities, visit family and friends in any emirate and attend meetings and conferences.
  • Attend job interviews and prepare to apply for a Residence Visa when you join the UAE workforce.
  • Plan to start a new business in the UAE or buy a property. You can do the initial business and property gap research while on a visit visa.
  • Work or volunteer to work for a UAE company, whether paid or unpaid.
  • Open a bank account, or start a business, (you need a Residence Visa and Emirates ID to do that).
  • Beg in the streets and you are liable to be fined AED 5,000. And that’s just the start – you could also be jailed for up to three months. Those operating gangs of beggars, or recruiting people to work as beggars, face even stiffer penalties. They will be fined a minimum of AED 100,000 and imprisoned for not less than 6 months.
  • Illegal activities such as prostitution, child trafficking, smuggling and other criminal acts.

If you need to make your UAE Visit Visa application quickly, do so during the working week. In the UAE, immigration offices work four and a half days from Monday to Friday noon. You are therefore advised to apply during that timeframe so that we can process it with the authorities faster. You should first apply for the visit visa and, when approved, you can then book your flight to the UAE.

You are not allowed to work in the UAE without a valid UAE work visa that has been issued by the MOHRE. It is therefore illegal to work with a visit visa in the UAE.

You must have a hard copy of your UAE visa where entering the UAE, and show it to the screening counters in Airports or borders in the UAE. You should therefore print a copy of your UAE visa before leaving your country so that you can show it to the immigration officers.

Dubai: The winter holiday season is here and the UAE has become a hub for some of the biggest global events. From the Expo 2020 Dubai to the upcoming Dubai Shopping Festival, there are several things to do in the UAE. If you are planning to visit the UAE anytime soon and are unfamiliar with the visa requirements in the UAE and the processes that you need to follow, here is our detailed guide on all the visa options available to visitors if they wish to visit the UAE.

Do I need a visa to enter Dubai?

Whether you need a visa or not is dependent on your country of citizenship. While citizens of some countries have the option for a visa on arrival, you may need to apply for a visa before you enter the UAE in some other situations.

What is the validity period of my visa?

All visas are valid for 60 days from the date of issue until entry to the UAE, except the 48-hour and 96-hour Transit Visa, which is valid for 30 days.

What should I check before travelling to Dubai?

You would need to ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months at the time of entry. You may also require a prearranged visa depending on your nationality.

Can I get a visa on arrival?

Citizens of more than 50 countries do not require a pre-arranged visa to enter Dubai. As per the website of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, citizens of GCC countries and citizens of the following countries can get a visa on arrival:

1. Australia

5. Bulgaria

10. Czech Republic

11. Denmark

12. Estonia

13. Finland

15. Germany

17. Hong Kong

18. Hungary

19. Iceland

20. Ireland

24. Liechtenstein

25. Lithuania

26. Luxembourg

27. Malaysia

30. Netherlands

31. New Zealand

34. Portugal

36. Romania

37. San Marino

38. Singapore

39. Slovakia

40. Slovenia

41. South Korea

44. Switzerland

45. The Vatican

46. United Kingdom

47. United States of America

Indian citizens

Some Indian citizens may also be eligible for a visa on arrival. These include Indian citizens holding a normal passport and either:

• a visit visa issued by the USA or

• a green card issued by the USA or

• a residence visa issued by the UK or

• a residence visa issued by the EU

In such cases, you can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 14 days, provided that the visa or the green card is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival into the UAE.

If you are not eligible for a visa on arrival, here are all the other visa options you can avail of:

1. Tourist visa – 30-day or 90-day

Tourist visas can be obtained by tourists from around the world. Depending on your plan, tourist visas to the UAE can be issued for 30-days or 90-day durations, and allow single entry or multiple entries.

Who can apply for your tourist visa?

1. Airlines

Each airline has some conditions, which must be met in order for your visa to be arranged by them. One of the conditions is flying with them. When booking your ticket, you can also enquire about applying for a visit visa.

2. Tourist visas through agencies and hotels

Licensed travel agents and hotels in the UAE can arrange a tourist visa for you, provided you purchase the ticket through them and maintain a hotel reservation with the specific hotel.

You can also contact travel agencies in your country for any tourist packages available to the UAE in collaboration with a local tour operator.

3. Through UAE-based family and friends

As per the VisitDubai website, UAE residents (friends or relatives) can apply on your behalf subject to guidelines.

How can I extend the visa?

While the first time you apply for a visit visa you may not be inside the UAE, when extending the visa for another period of 30 or 90 days, you would need to apply for an ‘inside country visa change’, according to Sirajudeen Ummer, a Public Relations Officer with Dubai-based First Gate Business Services.

“The visa can be extended by providing the necessary documents and making the fee payment,” he said.

Documents required for processing inside the country visa change

• Passport copy (which should be valid for at least six months)

• Passport size photograph

• Old visa tourist/cancelled visa copy

• On arrival nationalities would only require Passport copy and photograph if they have entered UAE using on-arrival facility.

• If the visa was applied for by a relative or friend, they may need to submit a copy of their residence visa page and UID number.

Visas can cost approximately Dh320 for a one-month visa and Dh720 for a three month visa. However, as per Ummer, the cost may vary slightly based on the travel agency’s service charges.

You can apply for the second renewal before the expiry of the first one against Dh600 each time of renewal.

2. Transit visa – for 48 to 96 hours

This type of a visa, which is available for all passport holders, from 48 to 96 hours, is ideal for a short stopover in the UAE.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai took to its social media channels recently to inform passengers of how they can apply for a 96-hour transit visa – or an entry permit – when they arrive in the UAE.

Service requirements

To be able to get a transit visa issued at the immigration counter, you would need to present the following:

• Original passport

• An airline ticket showing the continuation of your journey, where the connecting flight should not be less than eight hours after you land in the UAE and not exceeding 96 hours and the destination of arrival and departure are not similar.

• Present a valid hotel reservation in UAE.

Service procedures

To apply for a transit visa, follow these steps:

• Visiting the airline company.

• Submit a request to issue a 96-hour entry permit with the airline’s service officer.

• If the request is approved, you will receive an approval of the request.

• Approach the passport officer at the immigration counter and complete the procedure.

Who needs a transit visa?

As per the UAE government’s official website – u.ae – if you are not one of the nationalities that are eligible for visa on arrival or a visa-free entry to the UAE, then you need a transit visa.

Who can apply for your transit visa?

UAE based-airlines you are travelling with can arrange your transit visa prior to your journey. If your trip is through a travel agency, the agency can also help you get the visa, but all visas are routed through the airline.

"The Transit Visa is a non-extendable single entry visa, valid for 30 days from the date of issue and the duration of stay is up to 96 hours (four days) from the time of entry. Transit passengers stopping at Dubai International Airport for a minimum of eight hours are eligible for a 96-hour Transit Visa," Shafiq Muhammad, Public Relations Officer with Muhaisnah Documents Clearing Services in Dubai told Gulf News.

"Such a visa is preferred by passengers having business meetings or taking a stopover en route to their next destination," he added.

3. Long-term, multiple entry tourist visa for five years

In case you are looking to visit the UAE regularly over the next few years, a new visa option has opened up for tourists. The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) has provided details of the five-year multiple entry tourist visa for all nationalities through the authority’s website.

Is a UAE-based sponsor required for the visa?

According to the details provided when the visa was announced, the visa does not require a UAE-based individual or organisation to sponsor the visa. Tourists can apply for the visa on self-sponsorship.

What is the maximum duration of stay on the visa?

As per the announcement, a tourist can stay for 90 days on each visit. This can be extended for another 90 days.

Up until now, tourists could only get visas for 30-day or 90-day durations.

How to apply for the five-year tourist visa

Step 1: Log on to the ICA website – www.ica.gov.ae

Step 2: Select ‘E-channel Services’ from the main module on the website.

Step 3: Select ‘Public services’.

Step 4: Select the service ‘Visa – multi-trip / tourist long-term (5 years) for all nationalities / visa issuance’

New UAE rules on visas effective September 5

New visa rules under the UAE federal decree law on foreigners’ entry visa, including visit visa and golden visa, as well as residence visa, will take effect starting on September 5.

The federal decree law was issued by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Types of UAE visas specified

Under the new rules, an entry visa granted to a foreigner determines the purpose of entry into the UAE. The entry visas include visit visa, temporary or emergency entry visa, employment visa, residency visa, as well as entry visa for GCC residents and their foreign escorts.

A single entry or multiple entry visa allowing foreigners on temporary visit to the UAE may also be issued by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP).

The entry visa is classified according to the purpose of the visit, such as tourism, visiting a relative or friend, work assignment, exploring job opportunities, exploring business opportunities, medical treatment, study, training or qualification, and courtesy visa.

A visit visa may be issued by a decision of the ICP head or his authorised representative, for other purposes.

Duration and validity of UAE visas

The ICP will determine the duration of a foreigner’s stay in the UAE. In all cases, the duration of stay should not exceed one year, with fees and a guarantee payment.

The entry visa can be extended on authority of the ICP head or his representative, depending on the validity of the reason for the extension and payment of extension fees.

The entry visit visa is valid for 60 days from the date of its issuance for the holder to enter the country. It can be renewed for similar periods after paying the prescribed fees.

The ICP may also grant a foreigner an entry visit visa for the purpose of tourism, provided that the guarantor or host is a tourism company based in the UAE. The entry visit visa will require a guarantee payment as well as a processing fee.

UAE entry visa fees

Fees for 10 entry visas to the UAE range between Dh200 and Dh1,500, when applying for the service through the ICP’s website www.icp.gov.ae or smart application UAEICP. Here is the partial list of visa fees:

Residence entry permit for family of partner and investor: Dh250

Residence entry permit for family of resident working in government sector: Dh200

Residence entry permit for the family of resident working in private sector or free zone: Dh250

Long-term single visit visa (work or entertainment for Emirati sponsor or resident): Dh550

Entry permit for business or entertainment for partner and investor: Dh550

Long-term multiple visit visa for work or entertainment for a partner and investor: Dh1,500

Entry visa for work or entertainment for Emirati sponsor or resident: Dh1,500

Entry permit for a long-term single visit (tourism): Dh550

According to the ICP, the fees must be paid through credit card, debit card or e-dirham and that the application form should be submitted via www.icp.gov.ae or the smart app UAEICP.

UAE employment visa

Pending the approval of the competent authorities, the ICP may grant an employment visa for the following categories: a foreigner employed by an employer under an employment contract, and holders of green residency.

UAE green residency for foreigners

The ICP may grant green residency to a foreigner coming to the country to reside as an investor or partner in a commercial project if the following conditions are met: the authority’s approval of the investment is obtained and the value of investment or partnership is as decided by the ICP chairman.

It also stipulates that the ICP may grant a foreigner an employment visa without the need for a sponsor or employer in the country if he is a skilled worker, provided the minimum educational level is a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, and the monthly salary is not less than Dh15,000 or its equivalent in foreign currencies.

The decision stipulates that the residency permit granted to a foreigner shall be considered as void if the period of his residence outside the country has exceeded 180 consecutive days. The residence permit shall remain valid until the end of its term for the following categories: foreigner wives of UAE citizens; domestic workers accompanying citizens on scholarships to study abroad; domestic workers of Emirati patients traveling for medical treatment abroad and foreign patients and their companions traveling for treatment abroad, who have valid residence permits, provided they submit a medical report certified by the competent authorities in the UAE.

Other categories include domestic workers for members of diplomatic and consular missions and their employees holding UAE residence permits; foreigners delegated by public sector institutions to join training or specialised courses; employees working in overseas offices of such institutions abroad and their families holding valid UAE residence permits and domestic workers for members of the ruling families working in their homes abroad and who hold valid UAE residence permits.

They also include students enrolled in educational facilities abroad who have valid residence permits in the country; investors holding valid residence permits; people sponsored by diplomatic and consular representatives and their escorts and any other categories pending a decision by the ICP, provided they hold a valid residency permit. Everything you need to know about the family visa in the UAE

  • Family Visa Rules

The UAE government has announced major changes to its visa policy. Among the changes announced were amendments to the family sponsorship policy for expatriates in the UAE. After changes in rules for a family visa in the UAE, the government also announced that residents could sponsor their sons up to 25 years of age. Read on to learn more about UAE family visa rules and the processes involved.

UAE RESIDENCE VISA RULES AND REGULATIONS

UAE FAMILY VISA REQUIREMENTS

Uae family visa rules.

The family visa UAE rules state that the educational background or profession will not be a condition based on which family visas will be handed out.

Instead, the income of the residents looking to sponsor their family visas will be considered. So, regardless of your job designation, you can sponsor family members if you have the financial means and a valid visa. However, before taking the plunge, check your UAE visa status to know whether you can sponsor your loved ones.

Before the UAE family sponsorship policy amendment of 2019, only individuals from certain professions could sponsor family members. Since 2019, any   male residents employed in the UAE can sponsor their immediate family members, such as their wife and children, with a minimum salary of AED 4,000 or AED 3,000 plus accommodation.

The conditions are slightly different for  female residents in Abu Dhabi looking to sponsor their families. For a woman to sponsor her family, she must hold a residence permit that states she is an engineer, teacher, doctor, nurse, or other professional related to the medical sector. She must also earn a monthly salary not less than AED 10,000 or AED 8,000 plus accommodation.

In Dubai, an employed woman who does not fall under the mentioned categories will be allowed to sponsor their family, provided her monthly income exceeds AED 10,000. She will also be required to ask for permission from the DNRD.

RESIDENCY VISA RULES FOR CHILDREN SPONSORED BY PARENTS

After amendments to family visa rules in 2022, expats can sponsor male children up to the age of 25. The UAE family visa rules remained unchanged for daughters. There is no age limit on how long parents can sponsor their daughters – they can be sponsored until they get married.

A bonus for this type of visa is that parents will not have to place bank deposits that amount to AED 5,000. The new family visa UAE price will be AED 100 for first-time issuance and renewal.

Children with disabilities will be granted a residence permit permanently, irrespective of their age. Moreover, Green visa residence holders can sponsor any first-degree relatives. The residency of family members will be for the same period as the sponsor residence holder.

The family visa UAE regulations have been well received since they were amended and announced in 2022. The new rules continue to contribute to the stability of the UAE’s economy while building a cohesive environment for individuals to start a family in the UAE.

The new Entry and Residence Scheme offers 10 types of entry visas with simplified requirements and more benefits. – An expatriate employee must sponsor both parents together, he cannot sponsor only one of his parents. If one of the parents has passed away or if the parents are divorced, the sponsor has to show the related official documents as justification. – The sponsor must provide proof that he is their sole support and that there is no one to take care of them back home. – Obtain a medical insurance policy for parents with the minimum coverage stipulated for each, to be renewed each year.

UAE visa amnesty 2024: Will overstaying expats face ban after changing status?

R esidence visa violators in the country will be given a chance to start anew when theon September 1. They will be able to and fly home without having to pay their fines — but will they face a ban? Will they still be able to return to the UAE?

Over the next few weeks, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) is expected to detail the involved in the two-month grace period for overstayers.

Immigration advisors and social workers have urged to take advantage of the amnesty — stressing that once their status is cleared, they will not face any ban.

“One will not face a ban and can return to the UAE anytime they want after regularising their visa status," immigration advisor Ali Saeed Al Kaabi told

“This programme by the UAE authorities will allow violators to avoid fines and ensure that they can return to the country in the future without restrictions."

Amnesty-seekers who wish to return to the country are advised to secure a residency visa or an offer letter from a UAE company before flying out, Al Kaabi said.

“Once an overstayer is able to regularise his/her visa status, it is advisable to obtain a residency permit before leaving the country. This could make their return process smoother,” he said.

Nissar Thalangara, president of the Indian Association Sharjah, learnt more details about the amnesty scheme after meeting with Dr Omar al Owais and Maj-Gen Azeem Suwiedi from the ICP.

Thalangara said the officials had confirmed that residence visa violators would not face any ban and could return to the UAE at any time. “During the last amnesty by the UAE Government, overstayers faced a ban for a certain period of time,” he said.

The social worker also clarified that this time, there would be no designated tents or activities at immigration offices.

“Everything will be handled at approved typing centres across the UAE, making the process easier and more user-friendly compared to the last amnesty,” said Thalangara.

“Overstayers can approach approved typing centres from September 1 to collect and submit their applications,” he added.

To ensure that the community is fully informed about the amnesty, the Indian Association Sharjah is launching awareness campaigns.

“During the last amnesty, many overstayers were unaware of the initiative and were stranded in the country for years. Raising awareness is crucial to ensure that these individuals can make the best use of this opportunity to regularise their status,” said Thalangara.

The association will also set up a dedicated counter in their office to offer advice on how illegal residency can be cleared. The help desk will be open from 9 am to 6 pm daily throughout the amnesty period.

One of the most popular getaways for UAE residents in the smouldering hot summer is the UK.

The cloudy weather gives residents some much needed respite from the sun – the lifestyle and relatively shorter flight distance makes it popular.

Earlier this year, an Electronic Travel Authorisation was introduced as a replacement for visas to the UK for UAE nationals. The application process is quick and entirely digital, with most visitors applying via a mobile app and receiving a swift decision on their application.

Other nationals residing in the UAE, however, have to apply for a visa to visit, here is how you can apply for the visa:

Applying for a visa to the UK is relatively simple and most of it can be done online.

Step 1: The first thing you must do is find out which visa you need to apply for. While there are multiple types of visas that you could apply for depending on the duration of your stay and purpose of your visit, the most popular one is a 'Standard Visitor Visa'.

Step 2: Find out and prepare your documentation on the basis of the visa you have applied for.

Step 3: Once you have gathered all relevant documents, the next step is to apply for your UK visa. Head to the official website of the UK Government to apply (www.gov.uk)

Step 4: After you complete your application, you will be asked to pay for it online. On completing the payment, you you will receive a reference number, which you must take a note of.

Step 5: Finally, upload all relevant documents with your application online.

Step 6: Now, you have to book and attend an appointment at your closest VFS Application centre in order to submit your biometrics.

Step 7: You will be informed if your visa has been accepted or rejected and will be called to the VFS centre to pick up your passport. In case you want to get it delivered you can do so by paying an additional courier fee.

A 'Standard Visitor Visa' costs £115 (approximately Dh554) for up to six months.
