Full Day Swan Valley Wine Tour

Your Full Day Swan Valley Pink Bus Wine Tour includes a customised itinerary tailored to suit your group. You’ll visit your preferred selection of four Swan Valley wineries, breweries or distilleries for tastings with a gourmet lunch included along the way.

We'll collect your group from the location of your choice, generally at around 10:45am depending on the location.

At each of your chosen venues your Pink Bus driver will deliver you to the cellar door and ensure venue staff know that you have arrived and are being looked after.

Your second stop of the day is usually also the lunch stop and will include a gourmet lunch chosen from venue's Pink Bus selected menu.

As time draws to an end at each venue your Pink Bus driver will provide the group with plenty of notice that it's getting close to move on time and will prepare the bus for your departure.

At the end of your unforgettable Swan Valley Pink Bus Wine Tour you will depart The Swan Valley at around 4:45pm and your group will be delivered to the location of your choice.

Party buses in The Swan Valley are generally associated with poor behaviour and many venues simply won’t accept them. At Pink Bus Tours we don't do "party bus", but we do do "party". We believe in making our wine tours a great experience from beginning to end, not only for you and your group, but also for the patrons and staff at the venues we visit. And because we don't do "party bus" we have built strong relationships with venue owners and management allowing Pink Bus Tours access to venues in The Swan Valley that party buses do not have, so you have a greater choice of venues to experience and enjoy.

Our first pick up is at 12:20pm from the Bus Zone in Barrack Square (Barrack St Jetty) in the CBD for our Half Day Tours. We will swing by the   Crown Casino  and  Swan Valley Visitor Centre for those who request this pick up.

We will be departing from our last stop at approximately  5:00pm – 5:10pm.  Drop off times may vary depending on the location you want to end up – either way it is the perfect time to start your nights festivities at your favourite Perth bar or restaurant!

On this small group, half day Swan Valley wine tour, we visit four wineries that are all family owned, and have been hand-picked by us for their quality and history within the region. Take time to discuss the wines - sometimes with the winemaker themselves - and learn about the Swan Valley's history as Australia's second oldest wine growing region.

The wineries we select can change daily to ensure that you get the best possible experience on each day, and at each winery, and our guaranteed small groups mean that we have access to wineries that won't accommodate the big tour buses - so you get away from the regular beaten path and receive a more memorable and intimate tasting experience.

Departing Perth City at approx 12.20pm, the afternoon is set at a relaxed pace so that we have plenty of time for questions and discussion, you will also enjoy an included afternoon cheese platter featuring local West Australian cheeses to compliment your wine tasting.

All tastings are included in your tour , including reserve and award winning wines, and you will have the chance to sample a wide range of quality wines - everything from a Verdelho to a Durif to a Muscat, and even a few surprises you may not expect to see in this wine region. Most of the wines you will try are produced small batch, so the only place you can find them is at the cellar door.

While we may be serious about our wine, you can rest assured this is definitely a fun afternoon meeting the producers and discovering the real gems of the Swan Valley.

A New Luxury Bus Line Transports Locals to Loudoun County Wineries

A snazzy new minibus in town whisks away weekend drinkers to three popular wineries in Loudoun County — all before bringing them back to D.C. by dinnertime.

Vineyard Voyages is designed to eliminate the need for a designated driver — and paying for gas or multiple Ubers — with round-trip tickets starting at $79.99 per person. The pick-up and drop-off point is the West Falls Church Metro stop bus area, which sits on the Orange lines. The 7-hour excursion, from start to finish, runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The 18-seater’s maiden voyage is Saturday, May 18. Seasonal tours operate Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the Fourth of July). The vineyard-hopping excursion makes 60- or 90-minute stops at each winery.

Vineyard Voyages partners with eight (mostly) family-run vineyards to start — all situated amongst the rolling hills of Loudoun County’s lush wine region — and are split into three types of regionals tours. The “Colonial Grapevine” option includes stops at Two Twisted Posts, Williams Gap Vineyards, Hillsborough Winery & Brewery; the “Piedmont Journey” is a day trip to Casanel Vineyards & Winery, Firefly Cellars, Fleetwood Farm Winery; and the “Valley Vine” excursion hits three wineries around picturesque Shenandoah Valley (Otium Cellars, Botati Winery, Hillsborough).

Vineyard Voyages’ locally based founder Christian Hoeffel is a wine tour connoisseur of sorts, having bounced around wineries on six continents. He says he spotted a lack of affordable wine tour options from D.C. to Virginia, hence the idea to start the new service. And being in the educational space, he has the luxury of having summers off.

Each winery offers tour guests discounts on bottle purchases, he says, along with various perks like an extra pour with a tasting purchase, a coupon for a free tasting on the next visit, or a sip of a selected wine for all guests. There’s also group discounts and all-inclusive tasting packages.
