I've used Passport Health a few times in California and find them to be a reliable and convenient way to prepare for a trip. You definitely pay a premium here - the visit/consultation alone is just about $100 - but the medical staff who work here know their stuff, explain everything you may need to know health-wise in your destination, and also don't pressure you to get anything non-mandatory for a trip. When I go here for any vaccination, I know that I'm staying up to date for upcoming trips and keeping myself and others safe. I think the only disappointing part of my visit was that I had to wait over half an hour in the lobby (despite arriving on time) because the people in front of me showed up to their appointment over half an hour late. I can't fault the person working there because she was the only one present and doing her best. But Passport Health is so adamant about their no-show policy and about sending email and phone call reminders in advance - it's surprising they don't have a hard time listed for people who arrive late. Anytime I've ever been to their clinic, only one person is working - so if someone does end up incredibly late it can throw off the entire day's appointments. That said, the place is clean and convenient, so even with the frustration of waiting in the lobby I will continue to go here. I do think in the future I'll try to snag the first appointment of the day in order to avoid this happening again, and I'll bring a book in case I'm forced to wait.

Don't even think about going to this clinic. You can get all your travel vaccines at a pharmacy at Costco travel for so much cheaper they do not file insurance which means they're out of network for most insurances so you'll be eating the cost like I did. For example, I paid $240 for for 4 typhoid pills for a trip I'm taking overseas my friend in Colorado went to her health department and got them for $80, that was just one of the things I was screwed on so be careful do your homework. Unless you are desperate only use them as a last resort. This clinic in Charlotte is a franchise, so I guess I can do what they want so buyer beware they don't care.
