All das verkörpert die HIGHLAND SAGA. Klassiker wie ´Auld Lang Syne´, ´Amazing Grace´ und ´Skye Boat Song´ präsentieren sich live inszeniert in einer unvergesslichen Licht-, Video- und Musik-Show. Doch auch Pop-Hits wie ´Your my Mate´ oder ´Wellerman´ werden mitreisend und authentisch von der Highland Saga Band dargeboten.

Auch bei dieser Tour werden mehrere Weltmeister im Dudelsackspiel mit dabei sein.

So erscheint unter anderem Alasdair Hutton als Ulysses MacKenzie, er war jahrzehntelang die legendäre Stimme des “Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoos”*, zusammen mit dem internationalen Showproduzenten Ulrich Lautenschläger hat er die Rahmenhandlung geschrieben. Beide gelten weltweit als profunde Kenner der schottischen Geschichte und Kultur.

My older sister had seen these guys years before and had said that it was an amazing fun show. So when I saw that Saga was going to be playing nearby I decided to check them out. I was not disappointed to say the least. I love progressive rock and I am surprised I had not listened to them before.

Their crashing guitar and melodic keyboards really lit up the night. Ian Crichton might be one of my new favorite guitarists, his solos were amazing that night. The lead vocalist, Michael Sadler, really knows how to capture the audience's attention. Everyone in the crowd was hanging on his every word the entire night. Their music was very easy to dance and move to, which created a very fun atmosphere for people down by the stage.

They were playing in a pretty big arena, but still the sound was great. They had a very interesting and cosmic light show that constantly shifted and changed to the delight of the audience. They ended the night with another great song that allowed Crichton to showcase his amazing guitar playing skills yet again.

All in all it was a fantastic night full of dancing and great music. I am definitely thanking my sister for suggesting them to me.

I love music, concerts can be hit and miss! What I witnessed at the "Phoenix" is, was and always will be an epic demonstration of true musical genius.Everyone there had many of moments of true bliss.Like the deep breath before the plunge we all were part of something delightfully electric.The vocals were crisp, clean and backed up thunderous bass guitar and face melting lead guitar from brothers Ian and Jim Chrichton.Mike Thorne "smiling like a Cheshire cat" beat those skins like a man possessed.Who could blame him, he had virtuoso keyboard man Jim Gilmour and Micheal Sadler's vocals weaving there magic and singing the songs that make us think.I was taken to a place where Saga alone are the masters,my feet moved, [clumsily]my voice sang, [off key] trying to be one with them and the other members of audience.I had no choice, at that moment they owned us, loved us, and took us home.People, if you are bombarded with too many rock bands in your head see SAGA, they layed the foundations on the "rock path "maintained it, added new exits and rest areas for your mind!True Canadian Superstars! I am truly grateful for the chance to see them live,it's your turn ,DON'T MISS IT!

I have loved this band since I was 12 years old. Unfortunately I never heard them on the radio in the NY area after 1983!! In 2017 I got my passport and drove to CANADA .. by myself to meet them and see my first Saga concert. Just this year alone I have gone back to Canada, NJ and earlier this month- PUNTA CANA!! Last year was Puerto RICO , 2018 was cruise to the edge.. I can hardly wait for CTTE2020. I will always love these guys and this band.. wusb.fm NY/ WAXX TRAXX TO THE MAXX.. I was very surprised that the concert was not canceled or even postponed following all the security measures taken in France and in most of the European countries, concerning the Coronavirus! Being a person considered at risk, I did not want to go to this Saga show, which I have been looking forward to for months. Too many risks! not Not only did I deprive myself of the concert of my favorite group and in addition I lost the price of my ticket, more than 100 €. this is the very disappointing experience that I lived for this Saga show...

This was my third Saga concert and second show with Michael Sadler (the original lead singer) back as lead vocalist. It surpassed my expectations which were already high--these guys are incredible musicians and connect with the audience at a live show. Michael Sadler's voice is incredibly strong and if you were a fan of their earlier material you would not be able to notice any difference. The energy and passion of Saga live surpasses that of more popular groups and their new material is on par with their earlier work.

Wenn's nicht die Abschiedtourne gewesen wäre, dann ginge ich nächtes mal wieder.

Very disappointed. Music was way toooo loud. Needed ear plugs to enjoy. We almost left, like a lot of others. Couldn’t enjoy the singer, because there was too much bass or something.

It was just like 25 years ago. A great sound and deep base. Just a fantastico show with old photos on the back wall

1 hour and 30 minutes is the working day for a rock musician. Saga knows how to please the audience. This was my 16th. concert with Saga since 1980. See you again in 2016.

What streets will be closed for 2024 Salt Lake City Marathon?

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Authorities are warning those living, working, or visiting Salt Lake City of the upcoming road closures planned for the 2024 Salt Lake City Marathon and its breakout races.

The event will begin on Saturday, April 20 at 6 a.m. with the Bike Tour (26.2 miles), followed by the Full Maraton (26.2 miles), the Half Marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K (6.2 miles), and the 5K (3.1 miles) all starting between 7 a.m. and 7:10 a.m. The Kids Race (0.62 miles) will kick off last at 10:45 a.m.

Officers of the Salt Lake City Police Department said that anyone in the downtown area of Salt Lake should prepare for significant and potentially lengthy road closures as participants move through the course and spectators cheer them on from the sidelines.

Police said that some segments of the racecourse will require full road closures that could last up to seven hours.

With safety as their main priority, authorities said that officers will be stationed throughout the course and that drivers should abide by all road signs and traffic directors.

"Please use extreme caution when traveling through the area as there will be a significant increase in vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic," police stated.

Below is a list of all road closures planned for the 2024 Salt Lake City Marathon:

• South 200 East will be closed from East 500 South to East 400 South from 12 a.m. through 5 p.m. for all races.
• Wasatch Drive will be closed from Mario Capecchi Drive to North Campus Drive from 1 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• South 200 East will be closed from East 600 South to East 500 South from 3 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. for all races.
• East 500 South will be closed from South 300 East to State Street from 3 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. for all races.
• North Campus Drive will be closed from Wasatch Drive to East Federal Heights Drive from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• East Federal Heights Drive will be closed from North Campus Drive to North Virginia Avenue from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• North Alta Street will be closed from 4th Avenue to Fairfax Road from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• Fairfax Road will be closed from North Alta Street to North Virginia Avenue from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• North Virginia Avenue will be closed from East Federal Heights Drive to 11th Avenue from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• 11th Avenue will be closed from North Virginia Avenue to Bonneville Boulevard from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• Bonneville Boulevard will be closed from 10th Avenue to City Creek Canyon Road from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• Canyon Road will be closed from Memory Grove Park Gate to 2nd Avenue from 5:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
• 2nd Avenue will be closed from A Street to North State Street from 5:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Bike Tour.
