Trip's Diner (St. Pete)

Ratings and reviews, location and contact.

Three of us had a late breakfast/ early lunch there a few days ago. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table and it was well worth the wait. My eggs were perfectly scrambled, the bacon was thick and crispy and the biscuits... and gravy were Delicious. One in our party had the meat loaf sandwich that was huge and tasty. The third in our party had eggs Benedict that she said were some of the best she ever tasted. The coffee was hot and fresh, the server was friendly and checked on us several times. I would highly recommend Trip’s diner to anyone More

Thank you for the great review!

Visited twice to eat lunch. The first time was a total disappointment. Waited almost 40 minutes to be seated. Upon 2 inquiries I was twice told "next 5 minutes or so" There were empty tables, but possibly not the staff to serve them. After more... than 35 minutes I left hungry. On past vacations I have eaten lunch there and am a big fan of their fried green tomatoes. IMHO the best I ever ate in St. Pete. Next time I passed I stepped in and asked to be seated at a table and was offered a stool at the counter which I declined. After inquiring about several empty tables I was offered a seat at a window table. Noticed a!so a sign advising guests that they no longer served dinner. I can only imagine that this was due to lack of staff. The young who served me was efficient and polite. Had the fried green tomatoes and for dessert a piece of excellent peanut butter pie. Both were excellent. The fried tomatoes were a large serving and too much for me to finish. Waitress offered to pack the remainder to go. Liked the food and service during my second visit. More

Thank you for the nice review!

We meet friends every Wednesday morning at Tripp's. I had to give up on their eggs because they would always come out pretty much raw even though I ordered them medium. Lately I tried ordering eggs again, but even ordering them medium-to-hard, the eggs show... up almost raw for the past three weeks. I try to complain, but nobody seems to care. The breakfasts are expensive, and their pancakes are tough, so it's back to a biscuit for me. More

Found this while visiting the area. Great food and service. Very keto diet friendly. The server helped us order to save money since we didn’t want any sides. Build your own omelette with a great variety of cheeses and meats. Very kid friendly and even... had many dog visitors. Parking can be challenging because it is Very popular. Breakfast is served all day and a large variety of food options for the whole family. More

This review is based on only eating breakfast at this place. I ordered the Big Breakfast. I ordered my eggs over easy and my husband ordered scrambled. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs. They were cooked perfectly. The Big Breakfast also came with a gigantic... pancake. Even though it was enormous, it was so fluffy and delicious! The bacon was thick cut and savory. The breakfast comes with homefries. I upgraded to the loaded homefries (Make ‘em Hot), which was pepperjack cheese and delicious jalapeños added. Wow! My husband and I are going to try to make these at home, they were that amazing. We also got cheese grits. We are from NC and I haven’t not enjoyed the grits at any restaurants there. I really enjoyed these. My husband would have preferred extra cheese, but I thought they were perfect. We sat on the patio and it was dog friendly. More

I visit Trips every few months and it never disappoints. It is clean, the food is always fresh and delicious and the service is great. Our waitress was quick, happy, and helpful with recommendations and answering our questions. Our drinks were refilled quickly. We had... delicious green fried tomatoes for an appetizer. One of us had the meatloaf sandwhich with a side of cheese grits, one had the Reds shrimp and grits, and I had the steak and cheese sandwhich. It was loaded with perfectly cooked onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Everything was delicious! The servings are more than ample. We went at an off time so there was no wait for a table. If there is a line it is worth the wait. I need to go back to try a hubcap pancake! Great varied, fun menu! More

Before visiting, we read the menu. I saw the chicken salad sandwich and I could not wait to try it! We tried the onion strings to start while we waited for our meals. After a while, I was informed they were out of chicken salad... :( (It happens) Ok, so I order an egg salad sandwich. A few minutes later, I am once again informed they just ran out. At this time, the other guests are receiving their meals. I then order the ham and swiss. I guess the menu was not as helpful as I was expecting a melted ham and swiss instead I got two super thick slices of lightly toasted sourdough with very thick slices of ham topped with semi melted swiss. A little bit of let down. The others in our party liked their food but nothing stood out. More

Trips opened while we were away from St. Pete for several years. Upon returning home in 2013, we tried it for breakfast and was not impressed. The food was OK but we found the menu not very interesting as it did not provide much variety... in choices or anything different and unique from other breakfast places. After 9 years and seeing the place crowded whenever we would pass it, we decided to give it a second try. We were extremely pleased to see an expanded breakfast menu from our first visit and items that you normally do not see on other breakfast menus such as gouda / blue / asiago cheeses for omelets, eggs benedict made with fried green tomatoes instead of an English muffin, and wonderful obviously homemade corn bread along with standard choices of toast / biscuit. These are just a few examples of their innovativeness which has greatly enhanced the breakfast offerings. We are very glad we gave this place a second chance. Thank you! I am glad to see you enjoyed everything!

We decided on Trip’s for breakfast based on trip advisor. Maybe our experience was an anomaly but we certainly won’t be back. Service: very poor. Waitress had zero personality & not attentive. I had to flag her down to ask for a refill on coffee... & I only had two cups total. She never came by with a pot?! About 10+ minutes after we ordered she came by to say it was going to be 15 minutes on biscuits. Since my sister ordered chicken & biscuits we decided to wait. I specifically asked that my food NOT be fixed until hers was ready to be fixed so we could eat together. After a short while, I noticed that food was sitting & sitting in the window. I got up to use the restroom & got a better view of it. Indeed it was mine. I watched it continue to sit there until the server loaded it up on her tray with other food & brought it to our table….. The chicken & biscuits with home fries were steaming. My food, a pancake, eggs, sausage, home fries was cold. The butter just sat in a glob on the pancake. The sausage was cold to touch & didn’t look fresh. It’s a frozen type patty like at a fast food restaurant. Potatoes were real but cold as well. Eggs the same. I voiced my concern about the food not being fresh. The server retrieved her manager who was hesitant to agree until she felt the sausage patty & pancake. Then she proceeded to place blame on a lack of kitchen staff. She offered to replace the food but I was grossed out & declined. Server never returned with coffee or to check back up really. Just delivered the check. It’s also very expensive. My sister had a chocolate milk, two chicken & biscuits with hashbrowns for $20. More

The parking situation is virtually nonexistent and pathetic. After circling for over 20 minutes, I finally found parking on a distant side street. This place was absurdly crowded. People were standing along the sidewalk broiling in the sun waiting to get in here. Every single... server here was grumpy, frowning, brusque, and harassed. There were squabbles between servers. Plates were crashing to the ground in the kitchen. Servers were yelling (screaming) orders to the kitchen at the top of their lungs. My two egg breakfast arrived with unusually rubbery thick bacon, the home fries absolutely sucked (they don’t have hash browns) and the accompanying toast was only one slice of bread. I sat at the counter and was knocked into repeatedly by servers as I ate. I was happy to get the hell out of here. Trips Diner has to stand out as possibly the most overrated and unfriendly dump with corresponding below-average food that I have ever eaten at. More

Let me start off by saying that breakfast is my favorite meal - especially to eat out. The myriad good reviews led me to Trip's. Went on a Sunday morning and waited about 30-40 minutes - which was expected. Food is excellent and service is... good. Very small parking lot behind the location (maybe 10 spots), then it is street parking where you can find it. More

Great comfortable spot! The country fried steak and sausage gravy is super good. The second time I went I had fries and brown gravy, I would highly recommend as a side to a lunch entree! Also, the second time I went, the waiter Bobby remembered... me from last time, which is very much appreciated in a busy establishment. The service staff is very prompt and friendly. If you can find a parking spot, it’s definitely worth a try! More

The following opinions result from several breakfast, lunch and dinner visits to the MLK Street Trip's location in St Petersburg. Trip's is a moderately priced spot offering decent service, moderate prices, acceptable sensibility to allergens, dog-friendly outdoor dining, reasonable menu selection and acceptable food. Breakfast... offerings are generally palatable, but lunch and dinner selections can be disappointing. Plusses worth a mention include burgers, breaded fries, coleslaw, salad sandwiches, omelets, and chili with beans. On the other hand, Texas- toast grilled cheese, French onion soup, sausage patties, and occasionally under-cooked pancakes are best avoided. Finally, if you prefer to visit this location during peak hours, prepare yourself for difficult parking and an outside waiting line. If you're looking for a nearby alternative, consider Kristina's. More

I am in love with this restaurant! Food was perfect and anyone who has ever read my reviews, knows I don’t let any restaurant get away with mediocre food. I don’t care for eggs, most times I ask if I can substitute the eggs for... a side and if there’s a up charge it’s ok… mostly, the answer is no… so all my life the restaurant kept my eggs (profit for them) and I paid full price for a side… now, I’m saying this because I got my side for free and no nasty eggs on my plate, in a to go box… or extra profit for the restaurant… to me, it was a win…win. I had chicken fried steak w/ sausage gravy, fried potatoes, pancake, biscuit… I wanted to try everything! The steak was wonderful, pancake, very tasty, potatoes very good and the biscuit was real! Our server was Kevin, he gets your order, if you have questions he can answer and he has a great smile… all in all, I will return to St Petersburg and I will return to this restaurant! Oh they have pies…. I got 2 pieces to go, peanut butter, very rich, very good…. Pumpkin cheesecake, hubby said it was really good… must’ve been, he didn’t even offer me a bite… so, please check this place out, we had a 20 minute wait… who cares when your food is that delectable!!!!!!!!

After a long day of work, playing chauffeur for the kids, or having some weekend fun, it’s always nice to stop by Trip’s Diner for a bite to eat. Our dinner menu is designed to provide exactly what our guests are craving, along with something sweet to finish off the meal. Our homemade pasta dishes are always a big hit. In addition to everyone’s favorite, spaghetti & meatballs, we serve blackened chicken on a bed of penne pasta as well as chicken Parmesan over Alfredo pasta! Comfort food at its best! What could be more filling than two sides, garlic toast, and your choice of boneless fried chicken or grilled chicken breast? Absolutely yummy, even if we do say so ourselves!

Our specialty sandwich combos are perfect for sandwich lovers who want a little more than meat on a roll! Each combo comes with your selection of half of a specialty sandwich, cup or bowl of soup, or a salad. If you’d like something that you can really sink your teeth into, why not order up a plate of our baby back ribs, sirloin steak, or country fried steak? We also serve a mean plate of meatloaf!

Still have room after dinner? Try our homemade pies for a mouth full of fruity goodness, or indulge in a creamy milkshake or scoop of ice cream! Thanks again for checking in to see what’s new at Trip’s Diner. We hope you’ll stop by and say hello soon!

Best regards, The Trip’s Diner Staff

More

This is a review of the Trip's Diner in Seminole which is owned by the same people in St. Pete. I have had two excellent ,meals there in the last 2 weeks (one lunch and one brunch). Both meals were excellent. The place is very... clean and they are observing social distancing by using only about 1/2 of their tables. I have also eaten at the trip's in St. Pete and that one is excellent as well. Overall excellnt diner food and the staff are wonderful.

We look forward to future visits and highly recommend Trip's based on today's experience. More

More

I was craving really good grits today. I'd been to Trip's twice before and knew they had them. I came here alone this morning and sat at the bar area with individual seats. I just felt right at home. EVERYONE here is so nice. I wish I knew my waitress' name so I could recognize how nice she was and how well she did as a server. I came in really tired and not in the happiest mood, but when I left I felt so much better. I love when I'm offered a second cup of coffee :) Diners are just the best and Trip's Diner is my choice.
We loved it here so much that we returned 3 times while on vacation! Literally every meal was perfect and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Trip's Diner is hands down the best food and service at the best price! You can tell from the moment you arrive that each team member takes pride in what they do!
Amazing experience! Food is quality, prices are fair, and service was shockingly good! If you're trying to decide where to go, the search is over!

How are Tampa restaurants snagging Michelin stars when St. Petersburg has none?

T AMPA — For the third year in a row, Tampa restaurants have the chance to snag a coveted Michelin star . On Thursday night, the esteemed guide will award its 2024 picks at a ceremony in Tampa, the culmination of a contract between tourism boards and the international restaurant rankings system that brought Michelin to Florida.

The guide’s recently revamped funding structure favors these kinds of partnerships — Michelin’s expansions are now frequently paid for by hefty investments. The Tampa Bay area is no exception. If you’re wondering why only Tampa restaurants are eligible for stars — and esteemed restaurants in places like St. Petersburg or Dunedin have so far been left out — it’s because only tourism boards in Tampa, Orlando and Miami paid to bring the guide to their cities. It’s a shift from how things used to work, when the guide would rate restaurants in places like New York City and San Francisco on their own dime. The process has received a healthy amount of criticism .

Michelin’s long-standing practice of favoring expensive, elite restaurants over more affordable options has come under scrutiny, too. The type of restaurant they reward with stars is typically tasting menu only, or a fine dining establishment that offers options for elevated multicourse meals.

But the guide’s foray into this state, which began in 2022, has been met locally with enthusiasm from many diners, chefs and tourism leaders. They credit the development for spurring an increased interest in Tampa’s culinary landscape, and hope the partnership can continue.

Since the Florida guide was announced — for which tourism boards in the state shelled out roughly $1.5 million — three Tampa restaurants have received stars. Tampa Heights Italian spot Rocca, Japanese omakase restaurant Koya and Lilac at the Tampa Edition all have one star each. Orlando now has four one-star restaurants, and Miami has 11 one-star spots and one restaurant — L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon — with two-star status.

But how exactly did a French tire company come to be the world’s most recognized rating system? And how has the guide’s presence affected Tampa Bay restaurants? We’ve got all your Michelin questions answered.

What is Michelin and why do we care?

The Michelin Guide is arguably the most well-known and respected authority on restaurants in the world, garnering international recognition for eateries that get stars.

Originally founded by brothers Andre and Edouard Michelin in 1900 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the guide — from the French tire company of the same name — was designed to help motorists plan their travels. It started issuing stars in 1926 to fine dining restaurants, and by 1936 the star rating system was in place, with three stars being the most a restaurant can earn.

For many chefs, obtaining a three-star ranking is the ultimate dream. Foodie travelers check off starred restaurants like a to-do list, while tourism boards tout the economic impact of having the guide in their city.

Michelin inspectors dine anonymously and rate the restaurant on certain criteria: quality of the product, mastery of flavor and cooking techniques, how the chef’s personality is showcased in the cuisine, the value for money and consistency between visits.

How did Michelin come to Florida?

For many years, the European-centric publication focused on just a few American cities, including New York, San Francisco and Chicago. But in recent years, the guide has expanded — with significant payments from the cities in which it lands.

In 2019, the Michelin Guide issued a California-only guide, for which the state’s tourism bureau paid $600,000. Since then, the guide has broadened to several areas in North America, including Toronto, Vancouver, Colorado and Atlanta, all following significant investments from the local tourism boards.

The guide’s foray into Florida is the result of a paid partnership between the Michelin Guide, the state’s tourism marketing agency Visit Florida and tourism marketing boards in Tampa, Orlando and Miami. It’s unclear why no other Florida cities were included in the initial deal but the guide has since expressed interest in expanding its footprint in the state. At the time, Gwendal Poullennec, the international director of the Michelin Guide, praised Tampa’s culinary landscape as an “impressive, interesting and diverse area.”

Visit Florida said they paid the Michelin Guide $150,000 as part of a one-year content and marketing partnership, which covers production costs and promotion for the guide. After seeing what Visit Florida president and CEO Dana Young called “great” results, the agency renewed the contract for another two years at the same price per year.

“There was certainly an incentive (to renew),” Young said. “It’s 100% positive — everybody is pleased with how it’s worked out.”

Local tourism agencies shelled out big, too — around $348,000 each. Though exact details of the partnership were not provided, Visit Tampa Bay paid “in the ballpark” of $116,000 per year for three years — the same amount reportedly pledged by tourism organizations in Orlando and Miami — said Patrick Harrison, Visit Tampa Bay’s chief marketing officer.

But while Tampa is paying for the guide’s presence, no money exchanges hands at restaurants, and chefs are never aware if and when an inspector dines at their establishment.

Poullennec has repeatedly disputed concerns over objectivity, calling the agency’s restaurant inspection process “fiercely independent.”

Santiago Corrada, Visit Tampa Bay’s president and CEO, echoed those sentiments.

“I think there is this perception that it’s pay to play, which is inaccurate. You’re not guaranteed anything,” he said.

In the inaugural edition of the Florida guide, Tampa restaurants were awarded zero stars.

Why aren’t Pinellas County restaurants included?

For the three-year period that the Michelin Guide has been in Florida, no Pinellas County restaurants have been included.

Tampa Bay’s dining landscape has always felt like a cohesive region, and the decision not to include notable eateries in St. Petersburg in particular caused confusion and ire among chefs and restaurant owners when the Florida guide was first announced. Chef David Benstock of St. Petersburg’s celebrated Italian restaurant Il Ritorno was among the chefs who voiced frustration that top spots were being left out.

But restaurants like Il Ritorno never stood a chance: Unlike its counterpart across the bay, Pinellas County tourism marketing agency Visit St. Pete/Clearwater didn’t pay to bring the guide there.

At the time, a spokesperson for Visit St. Pete/Clearwater told the Tampa Bay Times the agency had not been approached by Michelin and had no knowledge of the agreement. Since then, the Michelin Guide has voiced interest in expanding their footprint in Florida, according to Young.

When asked recently whether they would entertain the possibility of a future partnership with the guide, Jason Latimer, the director of public relations for Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, said no conversations with Michelin had taken place.

What effect has the guide had on Tampa restaurants?

In addition to stars for Rocca, Koya and Lilac, the guide has awarded several Tampa restaurants Bib Gourmand status, given to “best value for money restaurants” where you can find a three-course meal for a “reasonable” price. Those include Nepalese restaurant Gorkhali Kitchen; Psomi, a Greek restaurant in North Hyde Park; Rooster & The Till in Seminole Heights ; and, most recently, the contemporary Mexican restaurant Streetlight Taco .

Two other notable distinctions were announced in 2023: Psomi owner Christina Theofilos received the Michelin Young Chef distinction, and Matthew Braden of Lilac received an award for Outstanding Service. Beyond the biggest accolades, the full guide includes a longer list of restaurants it deems worthy of recommendation. Tampa’s guide has a total of 30 restaurants, including Haven, Bern’s Steak House, Mise en Place, On Swann and The Columbia.

Tampa chefs, restaurant owners and tourism officials said the guide’s presence here has been overwhelmingly positive.

“It’s been very, very good for the industry,” said Corrada. “We’re just seeing a lot of growth, and I think that’s all related to the exposure we’re getting with the guide.”

Snagging a seat at Koya, the Hyde Park omakase restaurant, was never easy, but since receiving a star, the restaurant has been booked solid, said owner Eric Fralick.

People often come to the restaurant specifically because they saw it in the Michelin Guide, he said.

With Tampa’s restaurant scene in the spotlight, more talented chefs and aspiring restaurant owners have moved to the area, which has made hiring talented staff a lot easier than before, said Rocca owner Bryce Bonsack.

Rocca opened with 30 employees and has since ballooned to 80, and what was once a 110-seat dining room now has space for 155, Bonsack said. He said check averages have also increased roughly $15-$20 per person.

But sometimes, diners have certain expectations of what a meal at a Michelin-starred restaurant should entail.

“Every single one of the bad reviews on Google and Yelp now mentions the Michelin star,” Bonsack said. “People’s expectations are so high that sometimes it’s hard to fill those.”

And for smaller restaurants, the early days after getting recognition from the guide can be incredibly stressful.

Nepalese restaurant Gorkhali Kitchen had been open just shy of a year when they were bestowed Bib Gourmand status , which was announced at an invite-only ceremony in Miami in 2023 .

Owner Rajesh Pathak received an invite to the announcement but disregarded it, thinking it was spam. The throngs of diners that appeared at his restaurant shortly after made it clear the announcement wasn’t a hoax.

“The restaurant was a madhouse that weekend,” Pathak said. “The first week or two, definitely, we were not prepared for it.”

What happens next?

Despite the hefty investment, both Visit Tampa Bay and Visit Florida said they’d welcome extending the contract with Michelin. But those conversations haven’t happened yet.

Harrison, of Visit Tampa Bay, and Young, of Visit Florida, both said they assumed talks about further investments would happen after the April 18 ceremony.

A spokesperson for Michelin would not share details pertaining to contracts, citing privacy concerns for “competitive reasons.” But once the guide for a particular city or region has been published, “the intent is for it to remain there” with continued financial investments, they said.

This year marks the end of a three-year contract with Michelin in the state. Despite the hefty investment, both Visit Tampa Bay and Visit Florida said they’d welcome extending the contract.

Total hidden gem! I wish they had a more central location in St Pete, I'm going to check if they do delivery because I want to try the whole menu! I got the cool rancher combo meal, and talk about bang for your buck! For $12 you get a 6in sub, packed to the brim with quality ingredients in delicious combos I never could have come up with, plus a drink and a side which is a perfectly sized lunch portion. Next time I'm going for the full sized sandwich though because seriously, it was so good I did not want it to be gone. Be aware that there is nowhere to sit, inside is very bare bones. Interestingly they had 3 people working on a Monday at 1:30pm, so it seems they are spending their money on quality ingredients and service rather than ambiance. I highly recommend!

Delicious roast beef sandwich just the way I like it. Rare not raw paper thin with hot peppers. I was disappointed with the sweet horseradish. I like mine plain. This had a Miracle Whip taste. The bread was very good. I would like this au jus next time. Wonderful menu. Great choices. Nicely priced. Good value.

Possibly one of the better turkey provolone subs I've had! I'm not sure how I discovered this place but I was really hungry that day and wanted something convenient. As I entered I was greeted by friendly good mornings and the staff did a great job at going over the menu with me. Super chill ambiance. They have so many options available I'm sure you'll find what you like. I ended up ordering the turkey provolone on white bread with lettuce, olives, onions and banana peppers. Not sure what sauce they put in it because I told them to add what usually goes with this sub but overall it was a great sandwich!

I have no idea how this happened, but somehow, my boyfriend ate my sandwich, and I ate his sub. We were secretly unhappy, wondering why there were peppers or no peppers, and why mustard or no mustard, etc. The only thing that could have prevented this was if our names or the sandwich names were jotted down on the outside because both subs were so similar - chicken breast with cheese. That's my only complaint. The service was excellent. Cold cuts were so fresh and delicious as was the bread. I especially loved the peach tea because it was unsweetened and so refreshing. Also liked that the interior of the shop was dimly lit - not super bright and harsh on the eyes. We will surely return, but this time, we will order a completely different type of sandwich to avoid that stupid AF mixup. LOL

Sorry Publix, I found a new favorite sub. Gateway subs is fantastic, friendly and tasty. The bread is stellar and everyone working was so polite. Will definitely be returning...often.

Without a doubt, the best sub shop in St Pete today. The magic combination of Fresh baked bread and sliced to order deli meats for each sandwich. There are some good sub joints in The Burg, Gateway Subs wins. They have what you crave. No chain sub shop comes close to their quality.

I've been trying to go to Gateway Subs for the better part of the last year. The wait definitely was worth it. Everyone was helpful and quick, but the ambience was a bit quirky. There was room for improvement on the decor and comforts Lory when it comes to sitting and lounging. But we came here for the food. We were in the mood for a Pub Sub which led me to remembering about Gateway Subs. We got a Funny You Should Ask Half Sub and a Ranch "something or another" half sun as a meal (chips and drink). The sandwiches were both light and filling at the same time. 10/10 would go back for both half subs. (I did notice a 4% processing fee for credit cards mentioned on their website in hindsight, but I didn't notice this at the store. If this was the case, I wish I would've been more aware of this as I don't recall seeing any signs or mention of it on any prompts. This should be made brightly aware on each purchase if this is current. Given we're in 2023, card processing fees being passed directly to customers should not exist.) EDIT: on my second trip I noticed the sign at the store and on the chalkboard and it shows as a discount for using cash rather than a fee with using a card.

Well worth the detour I did a search for Sandwiches in St Pete and the first one Yelp recommended was Gateway Subs. Holding a 5 star rating after 73, now 74 reviews is impressive. I was passing through St Pete yesterday and they were close enough for me to swing by, so I did. Gateway Subs lists several subs on their menu, some with cute names. I decided on one called Funny You Should Ask, what other places would call an Italian. They also do a little thing to help set them apart, for new customers they add potato chips to your sub (if you want). I was a new customer and looked forward to that extra saltiness and crunch. For returning customers you can pay to have chips added, and they also have a rewards card program. One theme of other reviews is how great the staff is, happy, easy to talk with, people that want you to have a great meal. I can wholeheartedly concur, it was a real pleasure to visit. As for the food, my sandwich was very good, plenty of fresh sliced meat and other toppings. I managed to score an entire bag of chips, so I was crunching both eating my sandwich and chips out of the bag. This was the second Italian sub I've had lately that didn't come standard with oil and vinegar or salad dressing, just the flavor of the other stuff. I liked the place, they have an indoor area with some tables including a couple of large blue picnic tables, and a few seats outside. It has a rough look where everyone is welcome and appreciated. I wish them continued success.
