Treblinka – one of many forced labour camps established by Germans during World War 2. Between September 1941 and July 1944 over 800 000 people (mostly Polish Jews) lost their lives here which means that Treblinka was the second largest death camp right after Birkenau (part of Auschwitz-Birkenau complex) in terms of number of victims. - Museum of Struggle and Martyrdom – established in 1964 which commemorates the disastrous events from the times of World War II.
- ruins and area of Treblinka I – Labour Camp. Prisoners (around 20,000 in total) worked there in a gravel mine, loading wagons, in camp workshops and on a farm.
- Black road – a road that connects two parts of Treblinka. History says that the pitch was black because human ashes had been regularly strewn by the remaining prisoners along the road for 2 kilometres.
- ruins and area of Treblinka II – Extermination Camp. Built by German army in 1942 in order to eliminate the Jewish population. It was constructed on the area of 17 hectares and was protected by a very high barbed wire fence.
- huge Memorial monument with reliefs depicting the martyrdom of people brought here and symbolic pile
- symbolic cemetery, with 17,000 boulders referring to Jewish gravestones.
