All time low releases ‘modern love’, announces 2023 north american tour.
Posted by Buddy Iahn | Feb 14, 2023
The band will play more than 20 dates this spring & summer
All Time Low has released “ Modern Love ,” a new anti-dating anthem from their upcoming album, Tell Me I’m Alive out March 17th along with the official video. The band also shared that its embarking on the Tell Me I’m Alive Tour featuring more than 20 dates this spring and summer with special guests Mayday Parade and Games We Play.
Like the song itself, the “Modern Love” music video explores the highs and lows of dating in the 21st century. Set inside Gaskarth’s heart, the video is a visual feast starring the frontman as “Mr. Modern Love” in a glittery red Elton John-esque suit as he alternates between heartbreak and passion.
“‘Modern Love’s a beautiful disaster’ are the words of a desperate, love-sick soul and the main character of our newest song ‘Modern Love,’ who is obsessed with the quest for connection in a world that’ll often break your heart,” states Gaskarth. “The visual piece that accompanies the single and continues the through-line started with ‘Sleepwalking’ was co-directed by myself and our good friend Lupe Bustos. We’re happy it’s out on the heels of our just announced, full US tour. We’re hitting the road with long-time friends Mayday Parade and one of our favorite new artists, Games We Play, routed around the special events we are hosting at The Ryman and Red Rocks. Can’t wait to see you all out there, and we hope you love ‘Modern Love.’”
The North American tour includes two previously announced shows of legendary proportions that quickly sold out – the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO which All Time Low is headlining for the first time on May 23rd; and a special unplugged performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on May 18th.
Tickets will be available February 17th at 10 am local via alltimelow.com .
The news comes shortly after the band landed their second career No. 1 single with “Sleepwalking” from the upcoming album hitting the top spot on alternative radio and amassing almost 10 million streams, marking their third song to secure a coveted top five position on the chart.
All Time Low recently took home Alternative Rock Song of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards for the record-breaking Platinum-certified smash “Monsters” feat Blackbear. The song previously clinched No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart for an unprecedented 18 weeks, emerging as the longest charting song ever at the modern rock format.

All Time Low Announce North American 'The Sound of Letting Go on Tour'
Pre-sale tickets will be available beginning today, and general on-sale will kick off this Friday, April 28 at 10:00am local time.
Multi-platinum-selling rock band All Time Low have announced "The Sound Of Letting Go On Tour," a North American fall headline trek featuring special guests Gym Class Heroes, Grayscale, and Lauren Hibberd.
The 21-city tour will kick off on September 8 with a hometown show in Baltimore, MD, visit major markets coast-to-coast, and wrap on October 17 in Portland, OR [full itinerary below]. Pre-sale tickets will be available beginning today, and general on-sale will kick off this Friday, April 28 at 10:00am local time HERE .
Next month, All Time Low will hit the road for leg one of "Tell Me I'm Alive On Tour" with support from Mayday Parade and Games We Play. The 25-city North American Trek includes two special shows of legendary proportions that quickly sold out - the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO which All Time Low is headlining for the first time on May 23; and a special unplugged performance at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on May 18 that will kick off the epic headlining tour.
Additionally, All Time Low will appear at When We Were Young Festival 2023 in Las Vegas this October. A complete list of upcoming tour dates and ticket information can be found HERE .
All Time Low's latest studio album Tell Me I'm Alive was released last month, and is available HERE via Fueled By Ramen. The 13-track collection marks All Time Low's first full-length album in three years and ushers in an exciting new era for the band.
Recorded in Los Angeles and Aspen with longtime collaborators Zakk Cervini [blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, Halsey] and Andrew Goldstein [Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Jxdn], the album is a gut punch of renegade riffs and intense introspection that finds the band reaching thrilling new heights of creativity.
Highlighted songs on Tell Me I'm Alive include the new soul-baring chant-along focus track "Calm Down," as well as the "Sleepwalking," which hit No. 1 at Alternative Radio, the emotional title track "Tell Me I'm Alive," and "Modern Love," the anti-dating anthem ironically released on Valentine's Day. All Time Low recently delivered the network television debut performance of "Calm Down" on Good Morning America.
Of the album, frontman Alex Gaskarth states, "'Tell Me I'm Alive' is an exploration of loneliness, isolation, and coping with the pitfalls of a world that feels like it's out to get you after collectively going through several very tumultuous years kicked off by the pandemic.
It is not a 'pandemic record,' per se, but written on the heels of such a life-changing event, its themes are certainly focused through and informed by that lens; Some songs echo defiance and a desire to escape, others are reflective and remorseful over lost time and longing for deeper connections and deeper meaning.
We wanted to instill a hopeful tone, but ultimately this album is about dealing with hopelessness and surviving. We hope our fans find comfort in the understanding that even at our lowest points, there can be forward motion, growth, the strength to let go of what no longer serves us, and ultimately a message of resilience."

About All Time Low
All Time Low have undeniably, albeit unassumingly carved out their own corner of popular culture. The multi-platinum Maryland quartet have toppled charts, sold out arenas worldwide, and served up a series of instantly irresistible anthems in the process.
Their catalog consists of five consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top 200 in addition to picking up multi-platinum, platinum, and gold certifications. Speaking to their impact, Rolling Stone even named So Wrong, It's Right among its "50 Greatest Pop Punk Albums." In 2020, they ascended to a new commercial and critical high watermark with their eighth full-length LP, Wake Up, Sunshine.
Following a #1 debut on the Top Rock Albums chart, it spawned the biggest hit of the band's career thus far, "Monsters" [feat. blackbear]. It clinched #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart for an unprecedented 18 weeks, emerging as the longest charting song ever at the Modern Rock format.
In addition to going platinum, it notably garnered "Alternative Rock Song of the Year" at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, while superstar Demi Lovato teamed up with the group for the Official Remix. Meanwhile, the mainstream came to them as they delivered show-stopping performances everywhere from Bonnaroo and Firefly to The Late Late Show with James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ellen, Good Morning America, and beyond.

Took my daughter to her absolute favorite band for her sweet 16. It was cool because it was her actual birthday on the day of the concert. We got box seats so that we could sit if we wanted and not be on the floor and risk not being able to see, and avoid potential mosh pits! It was excellent. One person did fall and had a hard time but the lead singer of ATL stopped the concert and brought in security to get the person off the floor to safety and got them checked out. That was really cool. Never been to a concert where that happened. We missed Dashboard Confessional, but that couldn’t be helped. We have never been to the Fillmore venue and we were not disappointed!

This was my first All Time Low concert and I enjoyed it so much. I already loved the band yet somehow, I seemed to love them even more after the show. The streamers, the confetti and the lights were an amazing asset to the performance and I really, really, really hope that they tour again in England and I get to see them again. Their charisma was like nothing I was expecting and the general atmosphere supported by the boys (men really) was amazing. Everyone was singing, dancing, jumping, raving and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Dear Maria Count Me In in the encore was extraordinary and it was very sentimental as it was from So Wrong It’s Right. Kids In The Dark and Lost In Stereo were two of my favourite songs played at the show, and somehow again, I’ve come to love them even more. Dark Side Of Your Room was and addition to the setlist and my friends and I were thrilled with the change. It was a shame Pierce the Veil didn’t tour due to certain circumstances, but Creeper got the crowd going wild before ATL even came out. I would definitely see All Time Low again, and hopefully they’ll perform the same setlist but with a new album soon!
As it was my first time seeing All Time Low, I wasn't quite sure, what to expect. That being said - I was not disappointed!
First of all, let me recommend you that if this is your first time to a Show like this and you're uncomfortable in a crowd, avoid the Center of the crowd, as this is where it gets really wild and you're very likely to be squashed or jumped on (in a harmless way).
The band's Performance was amazing, packing out all of their greatest Songs, you are sure to hear your favourite, with Alex' live vocals sounding as clear as they do on CD, whether it's while jumping around to Kids In The Dark or performing a quieter Version of Therapy.
On stage banter and crowd interaction also didn't come too short, with the crowd being encouraged to sing and jump along, or even get up on peoples' shoulders.
If you feel like it, bring along a spare bra to throw up on stage and Show your love.

Nostalgia often lights the pathway to the future. By returning to those warm feelings of wide-eyed wonder from childhood, bottling them up tight, and distilling them with years of wisdom, evolution becomes seamless. On their seventh full-length album and first for Fueled By Ramen Last Young Renegade , All Time Low take the next step on a journey they began back in their hometown of Towson, Maryland during 2003. Alight by analog synthesizers, cinematic soundscapes, and a lyrical journey lived through the eyes of a character known as the “Last Young Renegade,” the chart-topping platinum-certified quartet—Alex Gaskarth [lead vocals, rhythm guitar], Jack Barakat [lead guitar, backing vocals], Zack Merrick [bass guitar, backing vocals], and Rian Dawson [drums]—looked back in order to move forward.
“There’s a very nostalgic quality to this record,” Alex affirms. “There are a lot of strings that tie each song together, which had to do with what we were going through at the time. All of these things were quietly affecting where my head was at creatively. The deaths of Prince, David Bowie, and George Michael and watching shows like Stranger Things brought me back to being a little kid. There are touches of those inspirations creeping across. It’s those emotions of sitting in front of the TV cross-legged at six-years-old watching Ghostbusters for the first time. That was a guiding force for how we wrote and approached this.”
“It wasn’t about recreating anything directly, but trying to simply reflect those emotions,” Jack agrees.
Alex adds, “We asked ourselves, ‘How do we not only get that feeling, but give it to people?’ ”
In order to transfer that sensation to audiences, they flipped the script. While touring behind 2015’s Future Hearts , which bowed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200, the band began secretly working on song ideas without letting a soul outside of their inner circle know. With no schedule or expectations looming, the boys experimented and pushed the envelope both thematically and musically.
“It really felt like we had the freedom to explore,” Alex remarks. “We wrote outside the box. I think that creative liberty led us down the road of where this ended up. We went towards those sonic textures and synths. At the end of the day, our core is drums, bass, and two guitars, but I don’t think that’s the be-all end-all of what we are.”
“It’s a bit of a darker direction,” Jack exclaims. That’s something we’ve never touched on lyrically and emotionally throughout a whole tracklisting. It’s dark, but palatable. We’re not 18 anymore. It’s almost fifteen years later. We’ve seen a lot. We’ve lost friends and family members. We’ve found our voice, and we approached this new territory from a perspective that makes sense for us.”
Closing a landmark chapter with Hopeless Records, the boys signed to Fueled By Ramen in 2016. Throughout the year, they continued to assemble those ideas, primarily self-producing for the first time with co-production from Colin Brittain [5 Seconds of Summer, Avicii] and Blake Harnage [PVRIS]. Alex took a writing trip to a ranch in Palm Springs, CA that proved pivotal as the musicians tinkered each and every song to perfection. The title represented the collective mindset as the Last Young Renegade stepped into focus.
“The Last Young Renegade became this character who could encapsulate all of these feelings throughout each song,” Alex elaborates. “It was easier to approach personal experiences from an outside perspective as if I was talking about someone else or describing a movie I just watched. It enabled me to go places I wouldn’t have been comfortable going otherwise. It let me sit down with my demons and talk to them without facing them directly. Anybody can be this character.”
An echo of ethereal guitar, airy keys, and a confessional and catchy chorus come clean on the first single “Dirty Laundry.” Upon its February release, the song quickly clocked over 2 million Spotify streams in under a week, showcasing the group’s progression.
“The older you get, the more you realize everybody has a dark side and a past,” the frontman goes on. “You come to terms with those scars. They’re what make us who we are, define us, and give us character. That’s what the song is about. It was the right one to put out first, because it felt fresh. We actively want to shake things up and place aspects of All Time Low into the light that keep everyone guessing.”
The title track gallops ahead on a powerful chorus fueled by lush and lively instrumentation. “It’s a song about young love,” he continues. “When you fall in love at a young age, reality often sets in. With the waves that life throws at you, the current can be too strong to handle, and it falls apart. This one kicks off the story.”
Elsewhere, they collaborate with Tegan and Sara on “Ground Control” a spacey and soaring nod to Bowie that culminates on the assurance, “Don’t be afraid if you start floating away . ” With its uplifting and undeniable chant, the closer “Afterglow” shines long after the final note. Think Phil Collins crooning over Starboy -style production, and you’re halfway there…
It’s as if All Time Low has been speeding towards this body of work since their inception. Throughout the course of six albums, the band has earned four Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, peaking at #2. Their catalog of anthems includes the platinum-certified “Dear Maria, Count Me In” and gold-certified “Weightless” and “A Love Like War [feat. Vic Fuentes],” which received the highest honor of “Song of the Year” at the 2014 Alternative Press Music Awards . To date, they’ve garnered five Alternative Press Music Awards , five KERRANG! Awards, and been crowned “Best Pop Punk Band” at the Top In Rock Awards. Along the way, they’ve appeared in Rolling Stone and Billboard and graced the covers of Alternative Press and KERRANG! multiple times in addition to performing on The Tonight Show , Conan , and Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! Known for unforgettable shows around the globe, they’ve also ignited stages everywhere from Voodoo Music Experience to Warped Tour and on the road with blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and more.
Last Young Renegade sees them confidently turn the page on their next chapter. “To be honest, I really want people to come out of this simply feeling something,” Jack leaves off. “It’s different than anything we’ve done in the past, but it’s still who we are. We’re really proud of that.”
Alex concludes, “ The biggest thing for me was to make music that allows the band to grow with the fans who have been with us since day one and open the door to new people who aren’t that familiar with All Time Low. The themes we explore are very relatable. I hope this is an emotional ride. That’s what all of my favorite records were for me.”

What time does the 2024 Preakness Stakes start?
The post-time for the Preakness Stakes is set for 7:01 p.m. ET.
How long is the Preakness Stakes?
The race is 1 3/16 miles long. Secretariat owns the Preakness Stakes record at 1:53, although he wasn’t credited with the record until a 2012 meeting of the Maryland Racing Commission. Smarty Jones owns the record for margin of victory with a 11 1/2 length victory in 2004. Trainer Bob Baffert has won the Preakness Stakes eight times, most recently in 2023.
Who won the 2023 Preakness Stakes?
In 2023, National Treasure won the Preakness Stakes by a head over Blazing Sevens. National Treasure was 4-1 on the morning line odds. Mage, the 2023 Kentucky Derby winner, finished third.
What is the weather forecast for the 2024 Preakness Stakes?

Five long-standing traditions of the Kentucky Derby
Who is the favorite for the 2024 Preakness Stakes?
Mystik Dan is the 5-2 favorite for the 2024 Preakness Stakes. Muth, who is trained by Bob Baffert, was the morning line favorite when the post positions were drawn on Monday evening, but Muth scratched due to a high-fever.
Catching Freedom (6-1) and Imagination (6-1) have the second best odds.
What does morning line mean?
It is the first set of odds, released after the post positions were announced. Horse racing is parimutuel betting, meaning you can buy a ticket on the horse you want to win (or place or show, etc) but the odds are going to fluctuate up until the start of the race and eventually land on final odds as the horses go off, based on what everyone else is betting. In regular sports betting, you can buy a ticket at 5-to-1 odds and even if it’s down to 2-to-1 by the start of the game, your bet will pay out at 5-to-1. In horse racing, those 5-to-1 odds moving to 2-to-1 means you get stuck with those 2-to-1 odds like everyone else, no matter when the ticket was purchased (but, on the bright side, the odds can always go in the other direction, too).
What is the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes?
The Black-Eyed Susan Stakes is held on the Friday before the Preakness at Pimlico. It puts the best 3-year-old fillies against each other. The event is a Grade II race and offers $300,000 purse. It will stream starting at 4:30 p.m. ET Friday on Peacock.
How does betting on the Preakness Stakes work?
There are many different ways to bet on the Preakness Stakes, and it can be confusing to understand what an exacta, trifecta and superfecta are. It’s also confusing on how actually to place a bet on them.
The easiest way is to bet on the winner of the race. We explained all of the different types of horse racing bets here.
