Enjoy an amazing voyage of discovery over New Jersey at sunset.

You’ll fly in a Robinson R44 which has window seats for 3 passengers. Robinson helicopters provide a smooth ride, and since every seat has a window, you will have panoramic views to last a lifetime.

Flying is available all year round, seven days a week. Flights are weather dependent and may be postponed in adverse conditions. In the event that your tour is postponed, a mutually convenient alternative date will be scheduled with you.

Allow 60 minutes for the entire experience.

- 30 minute scenic flight with commentary from your pilot

The pilot will talk to you and point out all of the area’s amazing highlights as you glide over them. All passengers will be wearing headsets so you are also able to talk amongst yourselves in the helicopter. If you wish, the pilot can activate a mute feature on his headset to allow you some privacy with your guest.

Enjoy a Sunset Cruise on the Jersey Shore

Our Sunset cruise is a fun and relaxing time on the water. Feel free to get into the Pirate Spirit and come dressed up, or just enjoy an evening on the water with friends and family.

The Sea Gypsy II is the best and most unique way to tour the Barnaget Bay and Metedeconk River.

We leave from our dock and return 1.5 hours later. We Travel down the Metedeconk and sail past Brick, Point Pleasant, around Herring Island through Bay Head Mantaloking, and back up the Metedeconk to return to port. While on the back side of Herring Island on the Intercoastal Waterway enjoy a calm relaxing

No Wake Zone while viewing the Osprey Nests and beautiful homes along the water.

We will be Happy to play some music for you or you can make your own playlist and hook up to our Bluetooth and enjoy your own mix. (BYO food and drink).

*NEW* Coconut water beverage! Not from a can nor bottle but straight out of the coconut! No added sugars or strange preservatives! Only touched by nature! Please place orders in advance.

We have an open deck with seating in the back. This cruise is for up to 25-30 people. This is not our normal Pirate Adventure, it is a non-narrated boat cruise.

This is great for family reunions, graduations, girls night out, sunset cruising, or just a special night out.

The ship leaves at 6:30 from the dock and returns at 8:00, the sun may set a bit after or earlier than our return based on the time of the year you sail.

We sail in rain but we do not sail if the conditions are determined to be unsafe by the Captain (thunder, lightening, heavy downpours or damaging winds). All weather related decisions are determined by the Captain. Please keep in mind that a 30% chance of rain means there is a 70% chance of treasure.. Please review our cancellation policy. If it is raining where you are driving from it doesn’t mean that it is raining at our location. We do our absolute best that we can with all weather situations but sometimes weather can be unpredictable. We are always close to our docking area and safety is our top concern. Trips can be altered or changed if the captain determines it is necessary. Please know that Weather Channels and weather apps are frequently inaccurate and we do not pay attention to any long range forecasts but rather watch radars the day of only. Please do not call about the weather, we will call you approximately 1 hour prior to your scheduled arrival to notify you if we are not sailing we. We have up to 7 trips daily so calling at 10:00 am about a 6:30 cruise does not make sense.

All reservations will be held to our cancellation policy without exception.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any sail in the event of steady rain, thunderstorms, high winds, or conditions deemed unsafe by the captain. We sail in the rain. In the unfortunate event that we must cancel a voyage we will call approximately 1 hour prior to your scheduled arrival to notify you of the cancellation. If we cancel your trip for any reason you will not be charged.  Cancellations due to weather are at the sole discretion of Jersey Shore Pirates. Please know that we do our best with predicting the weather but weather on the Jersey Shore can be unpredictable so we appreciate your patience. We are always watching the radar so if you do not hear from us we are sailing.

Note: Tickets are required for every person on board from the smallest infant to all grown-ups who wish to join us. Please include all children, adults, and infants when booking your Adventure. This is a Coast Guard Regulation (law) and no exceptions can or will be made for safety reasons. Jersey Shore Pirates reserves the right to refuse entry to any passenger(s) for any reason. Safety is our top priority.

Reservations (not including reservations of 20 tickets or more or private charters)  may cancel or subtract from their total ticket count up to 72 hours prior to their scheduled sail and qualify for a full refund on the ticket price(minus processing fees). Reservations of 20 or more, or private charters may cancel up to 1 week(7 days) prior. Deposits are non-refundable. If you are suddenly unable to make your reservation within the 72 hour cancellation period, please notify us as soon as possible and try to find family or friends to give/sell your tickets to. We are not able to refund your tickets or move your reservation to another day within the cancellation window.

You can not cancel any reservations that are made on the same day of sailing

Please note that tickets purchased for special event cruises  (e.g. Pirates and Mermaids, Moana, Meet Jack Sparrow, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Grandparents day etc…) are NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Reservations for Private Boat Charters(field trips, birthday parties etc)  require 1 full week notice if you need to change numbers or cancel for any reason. All deposits are non-refundable unless Pirate Adventures Jersey Shore cancels for any weather conditions and another date cannot be scheduled for your Pirate Adventure.

Any Changes in ticket numbers or a no-show at check-in for any reason will be charged for the unused tickets on the credit card that was used to hold the reservation. Tickets are not transferable to any other date or time. If you show up at check-in with less people than you are booked for, you are still responsible for the ticket cost.

Six Flags Great Adventure opens reservations for 'glamping' tents at new safari resort

Want to wake up in a luxurious tent surrounded by wild safari animals? If you do, there are some good news: the Six Flags' Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa in Jackson is signing up guests for its opening day.

The new safari resort is currently accepting reservations for bookings beginning on June 14, offering guests luxurious bedrooms with scenic views of free-roaming giraffes, oryxes, wildebeests and many other African species. 

The resort is an addition to the Six Flags Great Adventure theme park complex, which already has a 350-acre safari available for visitors. 

With the new resort, visitors can experience the 1,200-animal safari through an off-road guided tour and also wake up in a luxurious "glamping" experience inside it.

The resort includes a spa and a fine-dining restaurant surrounded by wild exotic fauna. The guest rooms will look like tents resembling “authentic African lodges,” said Staci Wheeler, Six Flags Great Adventure spokesperson. The resort will be the first of its kind within the Six Flags brand, Wheeler said. 

“The campsite will be located in the middle of our Wild Safari," Wheeler said. "We will have a number of animals that freely roam around the enclosed campsite." 

The safari animals will stay on site year-round with climate-controlled indoor housing available for all tropical animals. A full-time animal care team will look over their well-being, said Wheeler.

Travis Kelce's Reaction to Swiftie Wearing His Jersey Takes Off Online

Travis Kelce looked delighted when he spotted a member of the Eras Tour audience wearing one of his jerseys.

Swift kicked off the European leg of her record tour in Paris on May 9 with a large amount of changes to the set —including one that paid tribute to boyfriend Kelce. The "Guilty as Sin?" artist gave live debuts to seven tracks from her new album The Tortured Poets Department at the show.

Swift performed a variety of fan-favorite TTPD tracks, including "But Daddy I Love Him," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? and "So High School"—the latter of which is presumed to be about her relationship with Kelce. The relationship has been embraced by Swift's fans, the Swifties, who have bought Kelce's jersey and worn it on the Eras Tour to show their support.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has attended a variety of Swift's concerts, including her final sold-out show in Paris on May 12.

A video posted to X, formerly Twitter , shows Kelce walking past the crowd and pointing to a man wearing his NFL jersey. The sport star has a big grin on his face before the men shake hands and Kelce whispers something in the fan's ear.

X user @tayvisnation captioned the clip , "travis with a fan in his jersey this is everything," also uploading a photo of two animated Spider-Man characters pointing at each other.

This is a still from the 1960s cartoon episode, and over the years, it has become a meme that posters use when describing amusing situations in which two very similar people meet each other.

At the time of writing, the post had been viewed 280,100 times. People took to the comments to share their admiration for Kelce and their love for his and Swift's relationship.

Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Kelce for comment Monday.

"He's the sweetest person ever! Travis was literally born to be Taylor's significant other. He's just such a natural at handling all the unusual stuff that comes along with being with the most famous woman alive," one person commented.

"First, Taylor fans went to Chiefs games to see Taylor. Now Travis fans going to the Eras tour to see Travis. God I love this couple and how they unite us!" posted another.

"This is so cute!! How awesome for this man to first have such awesome seats to the show and then to actually get to meet Travis," a third person wrote.

A fourth added: "I don't think I can explain how much I love this."

Sunday night was the fifth time Kelce has attended the Eras Tour, previously having seen his pop-superstar girlfriend perform in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore.

In a previous episode of Kelce's podcast New Heights with his brother Jason, the tight end said he appreciated Swifties showing up and wearing the jersey.

"It's pretty f****** cool to just have your jersey being worn," Kelce said.

Frida Kinhult Happy to Be Back Competing on LPGA Tour After Surgery

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Frida Kinhult can’t stop smiling. And no, it’s not only because she carded a 3-under 69 in the first round of the Mizuho Americas Open.

This week at Liberty National Golf Club is the 24-year-old Swede’s first start since the Ford Championship presented by KCC, as Kinhult had to have surgery to remove an ovarian cyst after being diagnosed with endometriosis last month.

Kinhult was forced to withdraw from The Chevron Championship to have the procedure, unable to deal with the pain that has plagued her for the last six years any longer. She shared the news on her Instagram page on April 17, seemingly in good spirits and cracking a couple of jokes in her caption about her boyfriend and PGA Tour player Vincent Norman’s ability to “caddie” for her during her recovery.

“Unfortunate update and I’m sorry to say I’ve had to withdraw from The Chevron Championship and will likely be out for a few weeks,” said Kinhult’s Instagram post. “I’ve just undergone ovarian cyst removal and have been diagnosed with endometriosis. I just wanted people to know I hadn’t totally lost my mind and started withdrawing from majors for fun. Wish I could be there – even double bogeys are more fun than recovering!!!

“Vincent Norman is caddying well so far! His ability to reheat pre-made soup is out of this world. Hope everyone has a good week! Can’t wait to be back on the road healthy again!”

Even though the pain had been a constant presence for Kinhult for quite some time, it started to feel different at the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship and the Ford Championship presented by KCC earlier this season. Resolved to tee it up in the first major of the year, the Swede tried to power through the discomfort, but she ultimately had to consult with her doctors about a course of treatment, a plan that required near-immediate surgery to alleviate her symptoms and that caused her to miss competing at The Club at Carlton Woods.

While it was disappointing to be sidelined by something out of her control, and while she would have much preferred to have this kind of surgery during the offseason, the pragmatic, unflappable Kinhult knew it was necessary for her long-term health to have the procedure done as soon as possible so she could get back out on the course pain-free as quickly as she could. And so far, that decision has paid off for Kinhult, who is having a blast being back at work this week at the Mizuho Americas Open.

“I'm feeling good. It's good to be back pain-free,” said Kinhult. “I’m just excited. It's been boring at home, but it's been good weeks, too. I've been able to watch the girls play. Obviously, a bummer missing Chevron, first week out, but it was fun to watch them play from home. I'm just glad to be out here again.”

Kinhult hasn’t been shy about discussing her endometriosis diagnosis both online and with her LPGA Tour counterparts. According to the World Health Organization, the condition affects 10 percent of the global population of females who have reached reproductive age, making it an incredibly common issue for women and girls worldwide.

And it’s for that reason that Kinhult has been so open about talking about what she has gone and is going through as an athlete with the disease.

“It's obviously quite a normal diagnosis, but not a lot of people talk about it,” said Kinhult. “I don't see why not talking about it. I've helped myself looking on Instagram and TikTok and just Googling about people writing about their experience with it. I even talked to people out here that I didn't know had it that are dealing with it every day.

“So just be open and talk about it. It's not a lot of research about it either, so it's kind of learn day by day. But, I think it's good to be open about it and talk about it. It's no shame. It's so normal.”

Her 69 on Thursday was a perfect welcome-back present for Kinhult, although the opening hole at Liberty National Golf Club gave the Epson Tour graduate fits. She made a double bogey right out of the gate on the par-4 1st hole, but after parring her next three holes, Kinhult made a pair of back-to-back birdies on holes five and six to get back to even par on the round.

She made two more birdies on the par-5 8th and par-4 9th holes to turn in 34 at 2-under overall. Kinhult then parred holes 10, 11 and 12 before striking again with a birdie on the par-5 13th hole, now sitting at 3-under with five holes to play, and she closed out her round by going birdie-bogey-par on her final three holes at Liberty National to post a 69 in her first round since tying for third at the Ford Championship presented by KCC in March.

“It's just kind of hit and hope, especially right now that I don't really know my miss,” said Kinhult, who hit 7 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens on day one. “I've been swinging the golf club for about a week, so yeah, try to keep it simple. I started off with a double bogey, which was like oh, welcome back, punch in your face.

“We turned it around pretty good and gave ourselves a lot of good chances and dropped quite a lot of putts out there to make some birdies and save some pars. It was definitely a challenge in this weather, but it was fun.”

With plenty of perspective gained from her recent health challenges, fun is all Kinhult is looking for on the golf course this week in Jersey City, N.J. Good results might be nice to see come to fruition with little prep work, but it’s even more gratifying playing well after dealing with something serious off the golf course.

So, no matter what happens tomorrow on day two of the Mizuho Americas Open, Kinhult is already chalking this week up as a victory, enjoying every second she has had to be inside the ropes and playing the game that she loves this week just outside of New York City.

“I'm just excited. I'm just happy. I feel like this is a bonus,” Kinhult said. “I wasn't sure how much time I needed to recover, but I got cleared about a week ago. I'm just enjoying the moment, enjoying walking on grass, having a good time with my caddie, Bruce (Lowe). We're having fun out there. Trying to just enjoy being back really. No expectations. I mean, I could go out and shoot a 65 or 85 tomorrow. Still going to be a fun day."

Battleship New Jersey eyes late June return date

The Camden waterfront has had an empty space since the end of March, when the 887-foot Battleship New Jersey was tugged down the Delaware for drydock maintenance.

Now, the ship is eyeing an end-of-June return to the dock it's called home for over two decades.

The museum and memorial's newly-titled CEO Marshall Spevak told the Courier-Post that the current goal is for the vessel to return by the end of June, ahead of Fourth of July weekend celebrations on the river.

The intent, Spevak said, is to have the ship back home and open by June 29 to be a viewing point for firework shows happening on the Delaware.

Fireworks at the battleship are scheduled for 10 p.m. on July 3.

The ship will be open soon after for regularly scheduled tours back at its dock, Spevak said.

Much like its path to the Philadelphia Navy Yard where the drydock maintenance is being completed, the ship will take another quick pitstop at the Paulsboro Marine Terminal on its way home.

Additional drydock projects

When plans of the battleship's historic maintenance and restoration project were first announced, the goal was to have the ship back at the riverfront for Memorial Day Weekend after about 60 days at the shipyard.

The work has taken longer than expected as more tasks have been added to the restoration.

"We've taken on some additional projects at the shipyard," Spevak said.

These projects, notably three "reach projects" were made possible with the continued fundraising efforts and tour revenues from the floating museum after the original goal, about $10 million for the restoration, was met.

Spevak explained that other maintenance projects included welding a steel ring around the outward propeller shafts to prevent water leaking into the ship, ultrasonic testing to determine and enforce the thickness of the hull's steel and reapplying about 18,000 linear feet of sealing on the hull's seams to prevent leakage.

"Fundraising never stops," Spevak said, noting that these efforts have made it possible to continue repairing and securing the battleship.

"Ultimately, all this money goes back into the ship," he said.

Tours and a homebound celebration

Wondering if you can celebrate the battleship's return? Don't worry.

Spevak said the ship is "absolutely planning on a big welcome home," and that plans were being finalized.

Plans are also being finalized to incorporate the two City Cruise Line ships that saw the ship off in March, so spectators will once again be able to see the vessel move from on the river.

The last dry dock tour will take place at the shipyard on Sunday, June 9, and tickets for remaining tours can be purchased on the battleship's website.

In this way, it serves as an essential and never-before-seen chapter in an autobiographical series spanning Springsteen’s memoir 'Born to Run,' 'Springsteen on Broadway,' and the films 'Western Stars' and 'Letter to You.' ”

The tour began Feb. 1, 2023, in Tampa, and was marked by positive critical reviews — and a rash of absences by E Street Band members because of COVID. Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, Jake Clemons, Soozie Tyrell and Lisa Lowell all missed shows.

Several shows were also postponed due to an undisclosed illness, and for a Springsteen illness, as stated for two shows at Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia last August.

After three triumphant shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford (Aug. 30, and Sept. 1 and 3), Springsteen announced the tour was postponed for the rest of the year as he battled peptic ulcer disease.

“The last four shows, I was playing really ill,” said Springsteen March 21 on SiriusXM's E Street Radio with Jim Rotolo. “So that was Foxborough, which was a great show, and the three Meadowlands shows, which were all, really — the band playing at its best and in front of a great New Jersey audience and a great Boston audience. But I was really not well.”

The tour resumed March 19 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, and its currently in Ireland, where shows are running over three hours.

The exact date for the debut of “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band” has not been released yet.
