About This Activity
This tour offers you a combo experience with the combination of Batu Caves, Elephant Sanctuary and Fireflies tour which are some of the most exciting spots in Malaysia. This combo tour allows you to fully utilize your valuable time in Kuala Lumpur to visit the 3 popular tourist spots at the most affordable cost in a single day.
Starting with Batu Caves which is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples. Be ready to take a selfie with the 2nd tallest Hindu Deity in the world. Later we move to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, also called the Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary which is 2 hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur. Upon reaching you will be given a short briefing / video presentation about the elephant conservation and then you are all set to get up, close and personal with the friendly mammal. Visitors are invited to help bathe the elephants in the shallow river.
Then we proceed to Bukit Melawati. The quiet township, known for its mesmerising fireflies and delectable seafood, is located just an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur and is a treasure trove of interesting facts and attractions. Also enjoy the great panoramic views from the top of Bukit Melawati.

The trip was good overall. The driver did come late but he was friendly and informative. The saddest part was that the tour was advertised as ‘bathing with the elephants’ - one of the main reasons we chose it. However our driver informed us straightaway that this was not possible.
