We first went to the La Tour Café on Nimitz this past Tuesday but the air-conditioning was not working and it was uncomfortably hot so we decided to go to the Pearl City La Tour Café. This La Tour Café is smaller than the main... one on Nimitz we're glad we went here because it was nice and cool and we had a very good early dinner. Enjoyed the La Tour Café Burger (they only do medium or well, no medium well), Roasted Vegetables Pizza, and the Caprese Salad (a little over $30 total) -- all really good! No fuss, no frills -- just go to the counter, order and pay, and your food will be brought to your table. No waiter service. Of course, we'll be back! More

Recently ate at La Tour, while in Oahu. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice choice of lunch items. We both had panini sandwiches with salad. Both the chicken pesto and the Ham & gruyere were tasty. Friendly staff. Nice location next... to the theaters. More

Convenient neighborhood eatery, food is very tasty. Prices so-so, service fast. Usually fairly crowded and noisy at mealtimes, especially on weekends and when kids are out of school. Comfortable atmosphere.

Wondered what all the hype was about so I thought I'd give it a go. The cashier girl has no personality to be working the counter. Had already placed a phone order for 2 french dips. Ended up ordering a La Tour burger to go... at the last minute. The food is prepared quickly and was ready in a couple minutes. The burger came out really fast which led me to think it was pre-cooked like McDonald's and left in a warmer. Got home to eat and was very disappointed by the french dip sandwich. Lots of french roll and not much meat for $10.50. Plus a side salad which is just dumped into the take-out box. Putting it in a small container would look a little more presentable. Daughter -in-law says burger is okay. Nothing to rave about. All in all, disappointed with the experience. Very over rated. More

This is the third La Tour Cafe location on Oahu. It is located in the Manana shopping center near Babies R Us. My favorite is their Kobe French Dip ($11.50) which comes with a small salad. My son enjoys their pizzas ($11). With refillable sodas... our tab for three diners came to $41. We have been coming here weekly since they opened. Good parking. Clean rest rooms. More

I often meet up with friends at La Tour Cafe - I LOVE the iced coffee, pastrami deli with salad, and kougamin (chocolate or haupia please!) The atmosphere is pretty chill, typical for a cafe style restaurant - a great place to enjoy good food... and catch up with friends. More

We stopped here on the way to the airport and ended up getting a few pizzas. The dough was not cooked and it was very gooey anyway, pizza was greasy and nothing I would get again. Also, the staff was not friendly at all and... after spending $30 on pizzas, charged .48 for a water cup so that I could get some ice to bring to my sick wife. Very poor customer service. The bathrooms were disgusting as well which is typically a reflection on the overall cleanliness of the establishment. I would pass on this place and go somewhere else. More

I went to the location on W. Hind in Oahu, HI. Discovered how a croissant shaped like a muffin can taste like heaven! I bought two pieces, one with haupia (coconut) and one plain. After a few hours, the remaining one still tastes crunchy, flaky... on the outside and chewy inside! Not at all greasy like other pastries I've had elsewhere. I'm hooked! More

We were here visiting from the mainland. This is an average looking place in a strip mall, but the reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. We tried the turkey and sun dried tomato panini, a margarita pizza and a pepperoni... pizza. They were incredibly delicious, but the pepperoni pizza was a little greasy, but still good. We had some macarons we had for desert and they were very good This place was so good we returned a few days later for more, ordering more margarita pizza and the chicken pesto panini; delicious! I would definitely go back! More

The only thing I don't like about this place is that it's on the expensive side. With that said, the food is a cut above most standard diners. Don't expect to get a "plate lunch". It's not that kind of place...no "gravy all over" here.... Today I had a salad with mixed greens, grated carrots, fresh beets, grape tomatoes, and fried balls of goat cheese with a balsamic dressing. It was delicious. The last time, I had the tuna melt, which I thought was a little too ordinary. Another time, I really enjoyed a kimchee burger that was a daily special. The pizzas are great if you like a thin, crunchy crust (which I do.) And they have really interesting daily specials, so if you like trying new and interesting sandwiches and flatbreads, there's always something new to try. Today, my friend had a pork sandwich that had crispy fried plantains in it, and he loved it. They also have an assortment of macaroons, which are around two dollars each, but like everything else, you end up buying it anyway! If you are more into quantity than quality, you might feel dissatisfied. If you are the contrary, you'll enjoy that it's not your usual casual eating place. More

This is a jewel for a quick bite to eat when you want some comfort food from a different country or right here at home. The french inspired Pizza and desserts are awesome. There is also latin and bistro style pizza. Tell them to go... light on the sauce for a crisper crust. The sandwiches are first rate (the french dip is meaty and the sauce is delish) The olny thing I did not like was the cole slaw. We decided to try a new place and went to La Tour Cafe for lunch. I ordered the La Tour Burger and Eggplant Parmesan. The service was fast and and employees were friendly. The sitting was crowded but there was time to wait and find... a seat. The employee who helped, her name was Raven. She delivered our food and was very pleasant. As there was more people coming in, they looked busy. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and all was clean. I like that they use environmentally products. I would go again. Thank you More

My fav is their French onion n Soup! It's to die for. Not to mention their mint tea drink - fresh and just so wonderful!

Chose to grab my Bday lunch at LTC last week because the food always makes me happy and as usual, I was not disappointed. Hot clam chowder, onion soup, and pomme frites were shared with my favorite falafel bahn mi sandwich. We also ordered the... goat cheese and beets salad but since there was no goat cheese, it was substituted with a generous cluster of mozzarella cheese cubes. I added a couple of stamps to my kouign amann stamp card with the apple flavored goodies which were warmed up upon request and the best with hot coffee. If you can still grab them at Costco, you can pick up $50 gift cards for just $40 (bought them to give away for Christmas and use for my own savings). Only thing that would have made my visit even more special is if I could have enjoyed the croque monsieur that they used to carry but no longer have on the menu. For two adults and one 10-year old, we spent a little over $50. More

The food was average at best. Little seasoning and looked thrown together. Staff not really friendly.....yeah...I won't be back!

Honestly one of the best burgers I've had thus far. Also appreciate the parking availability compared to their other location.

It was ok, but not the best. I?m glad I tried it, but wouldn?t go back. My husband and I got the wagu melt and it was good, but ... not for how much it cost for those plus two lemonades. Decent variety ... to choose from and a plethora of different macaroons to try out as well! We?re from the mainland and stumbled across LaTour Cafe by accident. I will now have to suffer knowing that I cant have this ... amazingness in North Carolina! Everything we had was DELICIOUS!
