Avoid this company at all costs. I am an avid traveler and this is the worst travel company experience I have ever had. I decided to let Go Irish Tour plan a trip to Ireland for my elderly parents, my husband and myself and it was a disappointment from the start. Firstly - they changed the final amount without alerting me right before the trip started and told me it was because a room in the original hotel wasn't available so they put us in an upgraded hotel but never got my approval for this. They told me it was due to staff turnover and that was the reason for the miscommuication. Secondly, on our first day of the tour, the driver was 3 hours late picking me up after my parents flew into Ireland on a red eye. We were sitting in the Westin lobby waiting with our bags for our and this delayed our entire first day making it impossible to see everything. The car did not have AC in the middle of the summer or working windows. IT was an old and dingy car and smelled bad. We asked several times for the company to change the car which they would not do for us almost to the point where i was getting quotes from additional companies during our couple of last days to make the journey more enjoyable for my parents. The driver would stop like 5-10 minutes away from the entry to some of our locationand tell us he couldn;t get closer then tell us to hurry out of the car since he was parked in an illegal lane. Finally, the second to last hotel was nearly unbearable, completely dissapointed my parents and made me wish I had booked the whole trip on my own and done my own research. After asking for compentsation for the poor experience, they have declined and haven't made any attempt to make it right

Avoid this company at all costs. We were planning a tour in Ireland as part of the Navy - Notre Dame Game and without a lot of time on my plate to do my own research I went with Go Irish tours. It all started out great, they were responsive and helpful in getting things booked and the itinerary looked good. That was all until we paid, then they stopped talking to us. Our tickets were booked, we had the reservation but when I asked about the driver I got crickets in response. The night before the tour was to begin I had to make multiple calls to get anyone to respond and finally after hours I finally got a name and a time for the next morning. The problem is we booked a tour and a driver was supposed to be a tour guide not just a driver. Their driver had 1 year total experience in Ireland, grew up in India and his family lived in Norway! Not the type of expert to give you a tour. He new how to get places via GPS but needed rest breaks on all the drives. 60% of our time was wasted driving from location to location because the driver needed breaks and the distances between locations were too far. Forget about city tours, there is no such thing with this company. Hotel reservations were all screwed up, we had requested 2 beds per room, and everyone one was single beds. We asked for a castle stay, got a country house, specifically said we wanted a castle tour, got ruins and not even a tour, just a drop off and walk around the area because they didn't arrange for a tour of the keep (It cost by the way 5 euro to add the keep) Times were all off. They scheduled us for a 1 p.m. tour of the Titanic in Belfast which was 7 hours away from our hotel in Galway (meaning we would have had to leave at 4 a.m. to get there in time). Unprofessional when we asked for help and now when we have left the tour will still not address our complaints or our asks for a refund due to costs incurred They give you a price in Euros, then when you are ready to book they convert it to $ and charge you 10% over market rate in conversion costs. I can keep going but avoid them.

Red flags, do not use this company. We used them to coordinate a trip with my elderly parents in law. The experience was not good, though to their credit they did try to help in the begining. Red flags: 1) Changed invoice amount right before trip, explanation being "first was wrong", after already paying deposit. To their credit they explained it was a staff turnover issue and worked to make it right. 2) Driver was 2.5 hours late day 1. Pushed entire trip off. 3) Car did not have A/C, working windows. We asked for help resolving with a new vehicle, did not ever make a change. We had elderly parents and it was very very uncomfortable. 4) One hotel well below par, very bad experience. We had a nice time at the other two hotels they booked for us, however we had to pay extra after the fact to get in. 5) Once asking for compensation for a poor experience, they completely ghosted us and did not ever attempt to make it right. Summary: Below par organization cutting corners to save costs at customers expense. Highly highly recommend not using.

if I could give no stars, I would. This company cost us money that we never got back by putting us in the two star hotels after we told them, we only want it four or five star hotels. The one hotel they put us in Galway was so disgusting and unsafe that we had to leave and pay for a new place to stay for two nights at our own cost. Go Irish tours could care less and are unresponsive. They owe us the money for those two nights in Galway. They even told us they dropped that hotel previously because of customer complaints, but never bothered to tell us or change our reservations. Now we are out all that money and go Irish tours won't even respond to us.

My wife and I were extremely happy with our first time visiting Ireland. Jessica did a great job setting up our itineraries . They are very helpful when you call their office. We had an amazing time and loved the people , food and all the beautiful sites we saw.

Go Irish did a really good job of coordinating our 15 day trip thru both Ireland and Scotland, our guide/driver Pearse was exceptional, we would highly recommend him, very knowledgeable, great understanding of the history of all the areas, gave us plenty of time for each excursion, never felt rushed and just a really nice guy. Once he got to know us he would suggest things to do that were in addition to the thing GoIrish had planned, we ended up skipping a couple things close to the end that we figured out during the trip we weren't as interested in and ended in a couple new things The mix of hotels was really good, with the variety of B & B's, one Castle and hotels, all were very welcoming and enjoyable, We really like the Republic of Ireland the best especially the smaller towns, the cities weren't as friendly and inviting as the rest of the areas but still had great historical places. Overall we had a great trip and your team and Pearse really made that possible. As I would never want to do it on our own and not having to drive made the trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable

This company has had quite a bit of our money for over two years. We booked a tour in 2019. The trip was canceled by them in March of 2020 due to Covid. Had multiple issues getting answers about a refund or replacing with another tour with our original agent Michelle. Was told I would receive a credit. Contacted company and was told Michelle no longer works there. Been dealing with Tinamarie for several months now. We are unable to get any answers and her promises to contact us have failed multiple times. I would not recommend these thieves to anyone.

Photo of Patricia S.

Although they were responsive and cordial they did not produce a tour. THey cancelled twice over a 2 year period. When an alternative tour came up in the price we had contracted they said no, the monies could not go to another one of their tours, we would have to rebook the original tour at the new increased price. Again they cancelled. Same song, book original tour at new increased price. Of course over a 2 year period, being elderly the health issues have changed. Even with a doctors note they have refused to refund us, blaiming it on CIE. My contract is with them They have kept our money with a promise the money is coming. They are a broker for CIE and they claim CIE is holding back the refund yet my contract i with Go Irish Tours. DON'T GO THERE UNTIL THEY BECOME HONEST!!!

Steer clear of this tour company! They are scammers! As with all the previous reviews we booked our vacation in 2019 and as with all previous reviews we have been extremely unhappy with the lack of communication from Go Irish Tours. We rescheduled our vacation to the end of May 2022. As time has gone on our point of contact has changed and now we get no response at all. We originally gave them a deposit for our tour. We are now 34 days from our scheduled departure and do not have an itinerary. We contacted hotels that we were supposed to be staying in and none of them had a reservation for us or GoIrish. Today, we received an invoice from GoIrish for the remainder of our reservation but still no itinerary. Due to a lack of communication from GoIrish we have booked with a different tour company! GoIrish claims to work alongside the U.S. Embassy but there is no help from the embassy either as they never answer the telephone! Hope you don't have a situation requiring assistance from the U.S. Embassy. We are hoping to recover our deposit through the insurance we took for the trip on the basis of the company being out of business.

Photo of Sue C.

We had a deposit down when Covid hit in 2019. Tinamarie was initially very responsive and even made a phone call to make arrangements. We understood the no refund policy. But when trying to make new travel plans we have been hit repeatedly with "we will respond back within 2 weeks" . I don't want to book with an agent that can't get back to me if needed while in a foreign country. First I book just a car to use up the credit we have with them. Then I'm told, I cannot only book a car. So I book 2 nights stay and the car for a week. Then they tell me I can't book 1 room for 4 people. There is a limit of 3 per room. So immediately the price is jacked up. So I drop one of the nights and they say I still owe $1300 on top of the money we already gave them. When I question this, they say there is a 4% credit card fee. Their numbers NEVER add up. I asked 4% of what number? No direct response. Shysters...steer clear of Go Irish Tours.

First international trip

My wife and I decided to go to Ireland for our 25th wedding anniversary and didn't want the stress of finding accommodations. Ben from Go Irish Tours was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various areas we wanted to see. He took the time to make suggestions on prebooking certain attractions as they frequently sell out, even in March! We had a wonderful trip, and would recommend Go Irish Tours.

Ireland and London trip

When i was planning our trip to Ireland and London. I did not know how to plan that kind of trip. I came across Go Irish Tours on the Web. I completed a form of what I was looking for. In less than a day Donna McNamee called me to start planning our trip to Ireland and London. Donna McNamee was excellant to deal with in planning our trip to Ireland and London. She was very attentive to our need and wants. She was always responsive to emails. She always answered our questions in a timely manner. Donna was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the trip was the way we wanted it. Our trip was a self driven trip around the southern part of Ireland. We visited 5 cities in 6 days and then traveled to London for 4 days. Donna also checked in a couple of times during our trip to make sure there were no problems or issues. I would not hesitate to call Go Irish Tours or recommend Donna to any of my friends or family if they plan on visiting Ireland in the future. It was a trip of a lifetime thanks to Donna and Go Irish Tours!!

GoIrish Tours did a great job of…

GoIrish Tours did a great job of arranging a personal tour for ten people for ten days. The driver, Garry, was excellent and allowed us time to do as much or as little as we wanted based on us being a small group. We drove about 1000 miles and had a blast!

I recently returned from a two week…

I recently returned from a two week trip, self driving tour of Ireland. Sophie, of GoIrish Tours was phenomenal to work with. She planned my trip from start to finish and followed up with me during my trip to make sure things were going as planned and if I had any questions. I did not have a single issue whatever from where I stayed to the car rental. In my opinion, two weeks was not long enough. Ireland is a beautiful country filled with genuinely kind and lovely people. If you want a well planned and fantastic trip to Ireland, I strongly encourage you to reach out to Sophie and the wonderful people at GoIrish Tours. I will go back and I will happily use GoIrish Tours again.

Dylan from goirish tours was amazing and we had such a great time! This was our 4th trip to Ireland and I just wanted to see what a travel agent would put together and pricing..I was blown away with how much Dylan saved us! He had awesome recommendations and put us in the nicest hotels! We will definitely use him again and tell everyone planning to visit Ireland to do so..10/10

Two days before arriving in Dublin, while in Galway, received an email mail from GoIrishTours that our Dublin accommodations has been changed from Arthaus Hotel to Maldron Smithfield. Paid in full in March 2023. Called Arthaus and were told reservations had been cancelled - not by Arthaus. Of course, two days before game no rooms are available n Dublin!!! Purposely booked to be within walking distance of stadium, same hotel as friends were staying, and amenities. Do NOT book with Go Irish Tours - you will be sorry!!!! This is a trip we have planned for years - interrupted by Covid - and now not at all the experience we planned for and paid for far in advance. The difference in rooms booked and and paid for and rooms we now have is $80 per night x 4 nights - great bonus for the tour company! Not so good for us to now be in a hotel further away with no air conditioning or charm.

GoIrish Tours did an excellent job…

GoIrish Tours did an excellent job booking our trip to Ireland. Their local knowledge allowed us to visit towns that otherwise we would have overlooked. We spent time in Kinsale, a city we’d never heard of, and it became one of our favorite experiences. The accommodations were wonderful with one exception. When we contacted Dylan and Tina they found us another hotel and upgraded all our other hotels. We’ve been to Ireland twice, and if we return we will definitely ask GoIrish to book our trips

Trip of a Lifetime!

My husband and I traveled to Ireland over the St. Patrick’s Holiday for vacation. Sophie, with GoIrish put together a perfect itinerary for our 8 day trip. Everything was booked for us, we had no issues checking, and were treated to top-notch service at every hotel. Zero Problems!! This was our first trip across the pond but was the least stressful vacation we’ve ever had. The Glenlo Abby in Galway was our favorite hotel. We highly recommend booking the falconry experience with Jason. It was the highlight of our trip! Followed closely by the Fiddle and Bow in Doolin with the Cliffs of Moher. Be sure to book your dinner at Russells… you’ll be very glad you did! Thanks to Sophie and GoIrish for the trip of a lifetime!!! We hope to return again soon!

I had a fabulous 9 day coach trip with an amazing driver who provided local and Irish history, sang Irish songs, played Irish music, arranged for a horse carriage ride through the national park and arranged for a local pub to open on their day off for dinner and a trio of local musicians to play Irish beat stopping music. We stayed in excellent hotels, ate traditional Irish food, enjoyed full days of site seeing and tours. Most of all enjoyed the company of strangers that became new friends to share memories with. It was a pleasure working with Ben. I would definitely book my next adventure with Go Irish tours and recommend you should too for a trip of a life time you’ll never forget. Nancy from New York

returned from an incredible adventure with Go Irish Tours! Landed in Dublin and embarked on a whirlwind tour that took us to iconic spots like the Cliffs of Moher and Blarney Castle. Our accommodations ranged from cozy B&Bs to a fairy tale castle. Seamless planning, and our guide shared captivating Irish stories. Highlights? Sipping pints in Galway and the breathtaking Ring of Kerry. Go Irish Tours, you made our Irish dreams come true! Five stars, hands down.

Go Irish Tours

Ben was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive from Day 1. All of the stays were upscale, private and walking distance from town center or some fun attraction. The Irish breakfasts were HOMEMADE and DELICIOUS! Do your research before eating any black or white “pudding”! 😆 I rented a car for my tour- which was prepaid as a manual- I highly recommend upgrading to an automatic. The car places require a $5000 EURO deposit, or a $28 a day damage fee. I recommend the daily fee. I can’t wait for the next trip! Kayla

I booked with this company in 2019 and…

I booked with this company in 2019 and then the pandemic hit. Communication was good and then when we got ready to take our trip I got two email responses and then...nothing. Luckily, I had only paid my deposit. When things opened up in 2022, we decided to go with another tour company because we got no response from Go Irish Tours. The new company, Irish Tourism, planned our trip and we were ready to go in one week. Yesterday 04/23/2022, I received a bill from Go Irish Tours for the remainder of the tour I was supposed to take with them. Amazingly, this was after I emailed them and threatened them with a bad review on Trust Pilot with no response. They also do not answer their phone but there website is functional. UPDATE I did get in touch with the company and was refunded my deposit because I had attempted to take my tour but got no response. Their policy is not to give refunds but because I had an email thread that proved I had tried to schedule my tour with no response the company gave me my refund.

Just wrapped up an epic Irish tour with Go Irish Tours! From Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher, our journey was jam-packed with unforgettable sights. The mix of accommodations, including charming B&Bs and city hotels, added a unique touch. Our guide's local insights made every stop, like the captivating Newgrange and vibrant Dublin, even more special. A 5-star adventure!

Goirishtours deserves 5 stars

Goirishtours deserves a solid 5 stars! Their trip planning was fantastic, and the tour took us to all the must-see spots in Ireland that we asked for. Every moment was well organized and unforgettable for us. We were a bit nervous about driving on the other side of the road but the car hire and sat nav was perfect, took a bit of getting used to being on the wrong side but we got there. Thank you for an exceptional experience! Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing trip around the wild atlantic way with GoIrishTours! Dylan was my agent and I couldn’t have asked for better service. He was so patient snd professional and gave helpful insights for what places to explore and where to avoid. I will definitely plan another trip as soon as possible, as I know I’m guaranteed a great trip if its with GoIrishTours!

Just got back from an incredible adventure…

returned from an incredible adventure with Go Irish Tours!

Kayla

Just wrapped up an epic Irish tour!

It was fantastic!

Fantastic trip around the island of Ireland. Great experience from start to finish! Mark organized our trip and made us feel like we had his absolute attention. He listened to everything we said and the route reflected that for sure! I'd highly recommend Mark and Go Irish Tours

I booked with Go Irish Tours because the were very responsive over email, and always replied within 24 hours, and even made a few international phone calls to speak with me personally. Prices for the B&B option seemed very reasonable and so I booked a 7 day tour.

The first warning sign was after I paid the deposit on the agreed amount of the total cost - I was told the price was going to higher due to the availability of B&Bs during high season, something I found extremely unprofessional. Since when does an agency raise the price on a package after you've paid the deposit? I complained to no avail. Then, when the final balance was due, I was charged a $50 electronic processing fee which I found ridiculously expensive - again I complained, to no avail.

The trip bookings were done adequately - I got a great car , and all the B&B's were booked as advertised. However, we found the quality of the B&B's very uneven - a couple were great, one was mediocre, but one was so bad we checked out after the first night (meant to be there for two nights - see my review https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g186612-d1009413-Reviews-Countess_House- Killarney _ County_Kerry .html) and checked into a hotel at our own cost in order to escape. In retrospect I wished I had paid more attention to the bookings made by the tour company, and truthfully I would recommend hotels rather than B&B's for anyone looking for a bit of extra comfort and service.

I was in Ireland right after another self-drive tour in Iceland - by comparison, the suggested itineraries provided by Go Irish Tours were pretty poorly presented. For someone unfamiliar with the country, it was not that easy to figure out an average driving day to take in the best sights of the region.

I would proceed with caution with Go Irish Tours; they are very proactive and responsive which is great but make sure to double-check everything and don't make a deposit payment until everything is booked and the price is agreed to.

Ben Kilmurey did an amazing job organizing our trip for us. I mentioned our interests and he arranged an itinerary and lodgings that allowed for self paced tour withh flexibility. His recommendations and bookings were spot on and we were enchanted. We enjoyed every moment. We were able to enjoy all we asked for and it only whetted our appetite for more of this beautiful country. We will be back and when next we come to Irish shores we will use Goirish tours! Ireland road trip!

Bobby & I just got home from a 2 week self-guided Ireland road trip. We used GoIrishTours and worked with Donna to plan. We told Donna where we wanted to go and she provided us with suggestions for the hotels in each location. We were then able to tweak the plans as we wanted. Perfect plan. We loved all the variety that she gave us from the Brook's Hotel in downtown Dublin, to the family owned Crystal Springs, in Galway and the finale was an 18th century castle in Dalkey. She was easy to work with, professional, and made all of our connections streamlined. We highly recommend GoIrishTours & Donna

Ireland is beautiful, very green, and so friendly.

We hada wonderful time in Ireland. Aoife from GoIrish was so patient and helpful. We saw almost everything we wanted to see on our self drive tour. The people are so nice everywhere. If we asked for directions they would sometime walk us there. Our hotels all had a made to order hot breakfast. Three of the hotels were fantastic and the fourth, The Copper Kettle B&B I would definitely not recommend. We had some rain and a lot of wind, but we still had a great time. I would recommend GoIrish tours.

Exceptional attention to detail!

We are on day 7 of our 10-day Irish adventure and needed to come here to say how impressed we have been with the accommodations Dylan arranged for us. Each hotel has been lovely and perfectly located for all the adventures we've been on, but our very favorite by far is last night's stay at Ballyseede Castle! 🏰 We had a surprise upgrade into the Bridal Suite complete with Prosecco on ice 🍾with white chocolate strawberries 🍓and a personal note from Dylan and Go Irish Tours 💌! Everything was simply perfect! We are now en route to Galway and Dylan is busy working to secure some spa services for us since our Internet efforts haven't panned out. He's been helpful, friendly and professional since the beginning. We highly recommend Go Irish Tours and send a big thank you to Dylan☘️🇮🇪💚

Great experience

We worked with Tina Marie at Go Irish tours to develop a completely customized 16 day tour with a private driver. Tina was easy to work with and very responsive to our wishes. She helped us pick hotels and ensured that we had adequate time to sightsee with our driver and on our own in various locations. Our driver Damian was a dream and we were astounded at how knowledgeable he was regarding the history of both Ireland and Scotland. He took us to some off the beaten path locations for some stunning photo opportunities. Tina remained in contact with us throughout the trip to help answer questions and even made some last minute changes for us when we wanted to move on to our next location sooner and do a hotel change at another location. She made it very easy and seamless. All in all a great experience.

GoIrishTours made my Ireland trip awesome!

My recent Ireland trip with GoIrishTours was an absolute blast! From Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher, and all those charming castles in between, it was a whirlwind of beauty. And oh! the pub nights! Traditional music and dancing had us tapping our feet and raising our glasses. Go Irish took care of all the nitty-gritty stuff, so we could soak. I can't recommend GoIrishTours enough for an unforgettable Irish adventure. It's a solid 5-star experience, and I can't wait to book with them again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Irish Classic

The Itinerary, accommodation, tour manage, driver and all the other guests were excellent. My wife and I were a little anxious about being on a tour bus with a large group of people that we didn't know but it turned out great. Friendly people across the bus all with the same goal of having a good time and leaving all the politics at home. Trip was well organized and it was a trip of a lifetime.

First Time in Ireland …

The greatest part of this experience was IRELAND and its people! What greatly enhanced our experience was our travel agent, Tina, at goirishtours and our driver/guide she paired us with along with the excellent accommodations she arranged for us. Tina listened to what we wanted in our tour and planned it accordingly.

I began the journey with Go Irish Tours in Oct 2019 After Covid pushing the trip ahead several times, we finally got to go June 1-10 2022! There were many emails & calls, anxiety & reassurances! We were totally thrilled to enjoy such a wonderful trip & our driver Kieran could not have been any nicer or more knowledgeable! He deserves a medal for putting up with 7 women!! Had a great time & a few unexpected surprises! Irish step dancing! Great food! We could not have been happier with the accommodations! Thank you Tinamarie & Kieran!! Sue & crew! ☘️☘️☘️

Great Tour!…

Thank you GoIrish Tours for a very memorable and seamless private tour. We loved it. Any hiccup along the way was quickly and efficiently taken care of. Our driver was fantastic and knowledgeable Our bus was large and comfortable for the ten of us. With the exception of the Galway accommodation we loved our accommodation In Galway we were initially located in a suburban hotel but upon voicing our discontent they arranged got a beautiful and centrally located hotel for the next night. We loved the flexibility of GoIrish and would definitely recommend them again. Thanks for the outstanding memories.

10 Day Dream Trip

We recently returned from a ten day private tour with Go Irish Tours and Kieran our driver. I can’t fault it, every day was a new surprise, pubs and some of the most stunning locations. The hotels were amazing but our highlight was Ballynahinch castle this was like a whole new world. We spent our time exploring the southern half and Kieran has convinced us to comeback to see the North half as he said it’s is equally if not even more beautiful in places . Plans are already beginning and we are weighing up adding Scotland too . We can not wait and really recommend Go Irish Tours

Great trip!

We recently had a great trip to Ireland. I chose to use GoIrishTours because we wanted to experience the country on our own without structured tours but stay in well reviewed accommodations without spending time to find them ourselves. Tina Marie created a customized accommodation itinerary based on several conversations over a couple of months. With the time difference between Ireland and the Western US, phone communication was sometimes tricky but in the end we were quite satisfied with the experience. Another review mentioned the 10% surcharge if paying in US dollars which we also found to be a bit unreasonable and it was a nightmare trying to get our little bank to send Euros for payment. But they were very patient when our payment got lost and therefore was late in arriving. All the agents I spoke with were friendly and helpful and I would recommend GoIrishTours for a first trip to this beautiful country.

The perfect trip!

I worked with Donna to create the perfect 9 day holiday in Ireland. We had a great time and each location she selected was excellent, as well as the travel schedule. All the logistics worked perfectly with each stop pre-paid including the car which helped to create a stress free trip! I would highly recommend this travel service!

Avoid this company at all costs

Goirishtours made our experience the BEST!

Goirishtours was the best way to visit Ireland for us, they really know how to make a tour individual for us and everything was just perfect. Ireland was always a top destination to visit and now that we have done it we cannot wait to go back. The fact that the agents are in Ireland is also great as all we needed to do was call if we need anything. We’ll definitely recommend them to our relatives. Thank you goirishtours.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Goirishtours!

Absolutely fantastic experience with Goirishtours! From landing in Dublin to exploring the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, every moment was unforgettable. The accommodations were cozy and charming, from quaint B&Bs in Galway to luxurious hotels in Cork. The tour seamlessly blended must-see attractions like the Guinness Storehouse and the Ring of Kerry with hidden gems like the charming village of Adare. Retirement Trip to Ireland

I was hesitant at times about our booking with Go Irish Tours, because of response time to my questions, but I didn't remember the 5 hour time change. All of our accommodation arrangements were wonderful. The Ashling Hotel in Dublin was beautiful and included a full breakfast buffet. It was also within walking distance to the Guinness Distillery. The Andree House Bed and Breakfast in Killarney was also very clean and in a great location. The Trim Castle Hotel in Trim, Meath was a Five Star accommodation right in the heart of Trim. Go Irish Tours also arranged for out rental car through Hertz Car Rental. We would recommend that you pay the extra for a built in GPS. It was very helpful in our journeys. Thank YOU, Go Irish Tours for our 6 day itinerary that allowed us to have a pleasant memorable experience in Ireland!! CHEERS!!

My husband and I can't wait to go back

My husband and I can't wait to go back. I was very happy with our trip. Go Irish tours did a great job in helping me plan the perfect trip for my husband and kids for our first trip to Ireland. Our Trip was a self drive starting in Dublin and going around the coast. We wanted to drive ourselves so we could leisurely explore, hike cliffs, fish, boat & visit churches, museums, castles, food and pubs. Go Irish tours gave us the perfect set up and worked with our time frame of two weeks. We were booked with beautiful, comfy hotels & B&Bs. We were greeted by all our hosts warmly. We were booked near shopping, food, & scenic quiet areas where we truly felt we were on vacation. We were able to tour tower houses, hike to waterfalls, walk trails in forested nature areas , hike cliffs, go on boat tours, Our favorite boat tour was at the Ross Castle. Our favorite city was Killarney, our favorite stay was Woolen mills for shopping & touring. The Lady's View was breathtaking and a must see again along with the cliffs of Moher, Croagh Patrick Hill climb were my teen kids favorites. Galway and West Mayo were perfect for coastal walks, horseback riding, fishing and more boat tours. There were small hiccups, but Go Irish Tours was easy to get ahold of and those small hiccups were fixed in a flash. I would recommend Go Irish tours to family & friends, I give you 10 of 10 for customer service and trip planning! - Sincerely Dawn, from Texas

The careful planning by Maria

The careful planning by Maria. We communicated regularly and she provided timely responses. She made the most of our quick timeline and packed it with interesting options. Her recommendation of taking a private car from Killarney to Galway was especially helpful as it avoided long train travel and allowed us to learn from our driver.

This was an amazing trip!

This was an amazing trip! We took the six night fairytale experience and could not have asked for a better itinerary. The service before, during and after the trip was out of this world. The accommodations were luxurious and only added to the beautiful Irish countryside throughout the trip. The suggested routes provided by our trip planner Linda were spot on and made for a once in a lifetime trip.

Great! Highly recommend

Linda Larkin worked with us to customize our self driving tour. We had a lot of changes and added another traveler and she helped us create a memorable holiday.

First family trip to Ireland

First time traveling with kids to Ireland and the accomodations were great. The agency customized our trip and we did a self tour that was very easy to do. Highly recommend this company for taking care of the details and making a holiday stress free. I plan to use them again.

My mom and I had a splendid time in…

My mom and I had a splendid time in Ireland! Linda was my main point of contact, and she was able to curate a rail tour for me that both covered the scenery and the city life. The first leg of my trip was in Killarney. Our hotel was in the middle of town and our main event was the Ring of Kerry tour. Despite the weather (I am from California), the tour was magnificent! If you ever go to Ireland, you must travel the coastline! Our second leg was Dublin. I truly fell in love with this city, it is simply magnificent! Our accommodations was ideal, it was adjacent to Trinity College, right next to Merrion Square Park (there is an Oscar Wilde statue in that park) and not too far from Grafton Street. Linda set us up with the hop on hop off bus tour, prepaid Guinness Storehouse tickets, and tickets for the Irish House Party. My mother and I loved all of it, especially as we had incredible flexibility with exploring the city at our own pace. Linda provided me a packet with my reservation and voucher numbers and directions on how to use the Irish Rail, which was relatively easy to understand. I do not use public transportation much, but by the end of my stay, my mother and I became proficient bus and rail riders. Linda also provide a more extensive packet of things and places to visit in Killarney and Dublin. Since one week was not enough, I will return to visit Ireland one day and I will definitely work with Irish Tourism once again. Thank you Linda and Irish Tourism staff for all that you do!

Great company to help design a custom trip to Ireland

My sister and brother in law wanted to travel to Ireland on our own without a formal tour because we wanted to visit the birthplaces of great grandparents. Irish Tourism popped up on a Google search. It offered several different itineraries, one of which suited our needs perfectly. All of our interaction with Linda Larkin was wonderful. Quick response, flexibility, lots of information. It was an excellent value traveling in early March, off season. And the suggested booklet of things to see and do was incredible. Packed with good ideas. The hotels were fantastic. A mix of B&Bs, 3 Star and 4 Star hotels. Loved them all. Directions were clear and succinct. It was a seamless experience. I highly recommend Irish Tourism

The trip was very well planned out

The trip was very well planned out. We very much enjoyed having tours/hotels/drivers arranged yet plenty of freedom to make other choices and not feel herded around as in a large group tour.

Wonderful Family Trip to Ireland

We had an absolutely wonderful family trip to Ireland thanks to IrishTourism.com. IrishTourism planned the trip for us and provided vouchers for hotels, trains, taxis, and tours that were easy to use. The hotels were fantastic and centrally located, the drivers arranged for us (from the airport to Dublin and from Killarney to Galway) were friendly, courteous, and knowledgable, and we are SO glad that we took the rail and did not drive. The tours were fun, friendly, and fantastic. It was a LOT of activity, but since it was planned out for us, we did not stress about it. Should we return (and we would definitely like to return), we will be using IrishTourism again. We highly recommend them.

10/10, would recommend

My experience was better than I could have imagined. Maria’s customer service was kind and understanding, I was very grateful to have her as our representative. Ireland was beautiful, we had great weather and almost no other tourists. I would not steer anyone away from visiting late Feb- early March just because of how private all of our tours and experiences felt. The itinerary for the trains that she gave us was most helpful, especially since we don’t commute by train often in the US. The information packet made it a breeze. This is the first trip where I’ve used an agency to book stays and excursions and I’m not sure I will ever travel another way again. Thank you for helping to make this trip an unforgettable one

Best of Ireland by Rail is a winner

After deciding to travel by train within Ireland, we connected with Maria Lieb just four weeks before our arrival date. She was friendly and accessible. By both phone and email, she advised us in finalizing our itinerary, customizing the 10-Day Rail Tour into 13 nights. She booked the rail legs, hotels and single-day coach tours, all of which were great. It was a successful and memorable experience all around. We'll use Irish Tourism again!

Wonderful Irish vacation!

Our Best of Ireland by Rail vacation was wonderful! We saw so much of the country, and visited so many beautiful and fascinating places! The trains were comfortable and the check-in process was simple. The accommodations chosen by Irish Tourism were perfect, within walking distance of the train stations and of places of interest and dining and pubs! Stephanie at Irish Tourism was so friendly and efficient, and made everything easy!

Amazing introduction to Ireland

We had a wonderful time and saw so much in our short 10 days. Tina chose great comfortable hotels that were easy walks from the train station as well as the town centers. Train travel is so relaxing and the ticketing process simple to understand. We had great drivers/guides for our bus tours who had many personal insights about the places we visited. We would not hesitate to book through Irish Tourism again.

Linda Larkin at Irish Tourism was great!!!

Linda Larkin at Irish Tourism was amazing. She listened to what we were interested in and provided us a perfect itinerary. Every so we made that she arranged was ready to go and the accommodations were perfect. Having never been to Ireland, Linda shared insight and made for the perfect holiday with thoughtful ideas of places to go and things to do. Her itinerary ideas were thorough with insight into just about everything that we'd pass on our trip so we could decide what to see and where to go.

Irish Tourism was fantastic

Irish Tourism was fantastic! We did a self-guided tour but they did all the planning. Tina was very responsive and made great suggestions. They booked hotels that were exactly what we requested in great locations. The itinerary they gave us was really helpful in planning our trip as we went. We even had to reschedule twice due to medical emergencies and Irish Tourism supported us both times without hesitation! We had such a great trip. Highly recommend them!

Amazing Trip!!!

The trip you put together for us was absolutely amazing! All the traveling and the rental car all went smoothly. We saw so much natural beauty and remarkable historical places. We met the warmest and nicest of people. We ate well and thoroughly enjoyed the B&Bs we stayed in. The hosts were all very kind and attentive. The couple we travelled with have already started talking about planning another trip back to Ireland. Thank you again for all you did for us, we truly appreciate all your efforts.

Maria is the best!

Maria did an excellent job of coordinating our travel schedules, hotels, and tours. The proximity of these made it easy to travel around Ireland. The vouchers and instructions were very clear and easy to understand. We found ourselves many times during our trip praising Maria’s thoughtfulness to detail. Our car driver Dennis was great going from Killarney to Galway by Knock. He was very attentive to us. The hotels Maria chose were great as well. When we return to Ireland the first thing we will do is contact Maria

Roaming the Backroads of Ireland

April 2023, 7 days Dublin, Killkenny, killarney, the Burren. What made the trip was the choice and freedom to take our time. We had hotels, car, activities, reservations, sites mapped out in advance. All accomodations were first rate. Able to check in early. Full breakfast each morning. Irish tours extended every effort to help us fine tune the entire trip. Nothing like motoring from town to town, stopping at off the tourist spots. Thank you for a well planned holiday.

10 Day Best of Ireland Rail Trip

We just came back from a fabulous 10 day best of Ireland rail trip organized by Maria. The planning process was stress free and we were able to modify it to our liking. Every detail was planned perfectly, we loved that the hotels were very central, and everything was within walking distance. The timing of the excursions and travel days was perfectly balanced with our free time too. Maria was always available to answer questions before hand, and help with some minor changes to the itinerary. I would highly recommend using Irishtourism to plan your Irish Adventure!
