Hitmaker heads back to Nashville to cut his third album with award-winning songwriters

San Angelo, Texas – June 2023 – Chart-topper, Case Hardin, is heading back to the studio later this month to cut his third album which is expected to garner multiple #1 singles on Texas radio charts. With two albums, numerous awards, four #1 hits and three trifectas to his extensive list of accolades, Case knows how to produce the music country fans want to hear. His ability to command the stage and connect with his audience through his music results in the perfect honky tonkin’, two-steppin’ show his fans have come to love.

Growing up ranching in San Angelo, Texas and spending years on the rodeo circuit, Hardin is no stranger to country music and the cowboy way of life. This is evident in every melody that details his love of traditional honky tonk music, beautiful Texas landscapes and personal experiences that he shares with the world in each of his songs. When asked about his love of country music, Hardin’s answer is simple, “If I’ve gone through it, I know you’ve gone through it too. Country music is more than a melody, it’s a lifestyle”.

Case’s first album “Over Fort Worth” released in 2016, was produced at Bismeaux Studios in Nashville with members of George Strait’s, Aaron Watson’s, Cory Morrow’s, William Clark Green’s, and Kevin Fowler’s bands. This album produced his debut single “Sign of a Fool” which broke into the Top 20 at #18 on Texas Country Charts – unheard of for any debut artist’s debut single. Subsequent singles from this album “Deep Blue Me” which broke into the Top 10 at #6 in 2017, “Old Stomping Grounds” which reached #2 in 2018, and “Texas Rain” which was the #2 song for all of 2018 made Hardin a rising star and one to watch among Texas country music industry icons.

It’s with the unwavering support of my parents that I can continue to chase my dreams. They’ve taught me to work hard and to never take anything for granted.

What motivates you?

I’ve always been highly competitive, so self-competition has always been big for me. I am constantly trying to build shows and to release music that is the best that I’ve ever done. I have goals for myself and will do everything I can to see them through. Focusing solely on myself and my music has always driven me to put out the best possible product that I can.

Something unique about you

My whole family has always rodeoed and ranched, myself included. After making it to state for talent in FFA, and making my American Idol debut during my senior year in high school, I knew that I had to leave rodeo behind in order to pursue my dreams in making real country music for fans all across the country.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Playing stadium and arena shows, all while still writing, recording, and playing my brand of real country music to those across the country.

Lawmakers set to tackle ‘funflation’ as Taylor Swift tour puts spotlight on growing entertainment costs

(CNN) - Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which dropped on Friday, became the most-streamed album on its first day across Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music.

The superstar continues to break record after record. Last summer’s “Eras” tour was the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. Swift’s live success, along with Beyonce’s blockbuster tour, jolted the entire U.S. economy, but fans willing to shell out big bucks to be a part of the magic were plagued by ticketing troubles and inflation.

“This is a significant amount of spending that people are still funneling towards entertainment and concerts,” said Elizabeth Renter, data analyst for NerdWallet.

The phenomenon of “funflation” is raising red flags in Washington.

The U.S. Justice Department is planning to sue Live Nation & Entertainment, the country’s largest concert promoter and parent company of Ticketmaster, for breaking America’s antitrust laws, according to reporting from the Wall Street Journal that cited anonymous sources familiar with the DOJ’s plans.

“It’s impossible for a consumer to tell what’s going into these ticket prices,” said Kase Wickman, Vanity Fair contributor. “It’s really frustrating on the consumer side and also feels unfair.”

For its part, Ticketmaster has defended its practices, arguing before Congress last year that it doesn’t set ticket prices or determine how many seats go up for sale.

“Pricing and distribution strategies are determined by the artists and their teams. Service fees, even if they’re called ticketing fees, are retained mainly by the venues,” said Joe Berchtold, president and CFO of Live Nation & Entertainment.

Yet, despite consumer anger over exorbitant fees when buying online, the concert-going craze isn’t over.

“People have rethought how they prioritize what they spend their money on and that we’re going to see continued spending on experiences rather than just stuff,” Renter said.
